Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a rotary valve drive device using a hydraulic swing vane motor. [Background technology]
[0002] Rotary valves with a diameter of about 500 mm to 1500 mm (hereinafter referred to as "large diameter rotary valves") are used, for example, as stop valves for penstocks that guide water to hydroelectric power plants, and the valve element of the rotary valve is kept in an open or closed state to transport a large amount of water to a water turbine for hydroelectric power generation. For example, a stop valve for a penstock requires a drive device that overcomes all of the following forces in the closed state: the blocking force required to hold back the large amount of water, the fluid force resulting from the fluid flow when the valve element changes from the closed state to the open state, and the restraining force that holds the valve element of the rotary valve in its position when the valve element of the rotary valve is in the open state.
[0003] The obstruction force in the closed state, the fluid force from the closed state to the open state, and the restraining force in the open state are all borne by the valve stem of the rotary valve, so a large-diameter rotary valve drive device must be able to generate an enormous thrust to rotate the valve body of the rotary valve.
[0004] When a large amount of water passes through the valve disc of a large diameter rotary valve, the water constantly imposes shock and vibration on the valve disc as it passes through, and these shocks and vibrations continue to vibrate the rotary valve drive device.
[0005] The shock and vibration caused by a large amount of water passing through the rotary valve drive device not only damages the electronic components that make up the rotary valve drive device, but also leads to wear, cracks, and breakage of the mechanical parts that make up the rotary valve drive device, and may cause the rotary valve to stop opening and closing. Therefore, rotary valve drive devices, especially for large diameters, are required to be simple and compact, and they also need to be as close as possible to the valve stem of the rotary valve.
[0006] Currently, the mainstream large-diameter rotary valve drive devices are electric motor drive devices and hydraulic piston cylinder drive devices.
[0007] Electric motor drive devices require a reducer, which inevitably makes them larger and heavier. In addition, the electric motor must be installed after the reducer, which means that the electric motor is far away from the valve stem of the rotary valve, which further exacerbates the shock and vibration caused by the passage of a large amount of water.
[0008] The hydraulic piston cylinder type drive device requires a rotating gear to convert the horizontally moving piston cylinder into rotational thrust for the rotary valve, which inevitably makes it larger and heavier. The horizontally moving hydraulic piston cylinder must have a certain horizontal distance to generate rotation of the rotating gear, which inevitably makes the horizontal movement distance longer and the cylinder and rod longer. This means that the hydraulic piston cylinder is far away from the valve body of the rotary valve, which further exacerbates the shock and vibration caused when a large amount of water passes through.
[0009] In contrast, a drive unit using a hydraulic oscillating vane motor has a simple structure in which a force proportional to the pressure-receiving area of the vane is directly transmitted and it can be directly connected to the output shaft of the vane motor, which reduces the failure rate and does not require any auxiliary equipment such as a reducer or amplifier, making it advantageous from the standpoint of compactness. It can be installed directly on the valve stem of the rotary valve, which is very close to the source of shock and vibration generated when a large amount of water passes through, so the impact of a large amount of water passing through the valve body of the rotary valve is small and there is no impact on the metal surface due to the clearance, which is a characteristic of hydraulic oscillating vane motors, so it is considered to be more suitable than electric motor type drive units and hydraulic piston cylinder type drive units as a large diameter rotary valve drive unit.
[0010] On the other hand, in a large-diameter rotary valve drive device, it is essential to keep the valve body of the rotary valve stationary in the open and closed states. In an electric motor drive device, this can be achieved by changing the axial direction using a reducer or the like, and in a hydraulic piston cylinder drive device, this can be achieved by using a piston seal ring. However, in a drive device using a hydraulic oscillating vane motor, the seal method used in the hydraulic piston cylinder drive device cannot be used, and oil always leaks, so there is a problem that it is difficult to keep the valve body of the rotary valve stationary in the open and closed states.
[0011] For these reasons, hydraulic oscillating vane motors have only been disposed on the output side of power steering devices, as shown in Patent Document 1, for example. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0012] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 62-46792 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0013] In hydraulic oscillating vane motors, the vanes rotate inside the housing (box) due to the hydraulic force of pressurized oil hitting the surface of a partition called the vane, and a major feature of the motor is that it can be directly connected to the stem of a rotary valve. However, since it is difficult to create a seal that reduces rotating contact, and a normal ring-shaped seal structure cannot be used, the current approach to oil leakage is to minimize the clearance (gap) between the vane and the housing. However, if pressurized oil is continuously supplied to push the vane, the hydraulic oscillating vane motor will have the inconvenience of continuing to leak oil due to the clearance between the vane and the housing, even if the supplied oil pressure is contained, like a hydraulic piston cylinder drive unit.
[0014] When a hydraulic oscillating vane motor is used in a large diameter rotary valve drive device, the output shaft of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor is directly connected to the valve rod of the rotary valve, and the output shaft of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor is subjected to the force of the valve rod of the rotary valve, so it is necessary to continuously supply pressurized oil to the hydraulic oscillating vane motor to push the vanes. However, continuing to supply pressurized oil to the hydraulic oscillating vane motor will continue to cause the pressurized oil to leak, resulting in a rise in the oil temperature in the hydraulic oscillating vane motor and a change in the viscosity of the oil. As a result, the oil pressure becomes saturated and the output shaft of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor, which has been stopped, begins to move. When the hydraulic pressure weakens, the output shaft of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor is defeated by the fluid pressure passing through the valve body of the rotary valve, causing the undesirable phenomenon of the output shaft of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor rotating in any direction.
[0015] The rise in oil temperature inside a hydraulic oscillating vane motor can also cause cavitation erosion when pressure is reduced (on the open side of the leak), leading to damage to equipment and, in the worst case, causing it to stop working.
[0016] An object of the present invention is to provide a rotary valve drive device that can keep the valve body of a rotary valve stationary in both the open and closed states and can effectively suppress the temperature rise of the oil in a hydraulic oscillating vane motor. [Means for solving the problem]
[0017] As a result of extensive research into solving the above-mentioned problems, the inventors discovered that a rotary valve drive device equipped with a fixed position rotating plate and a locking member including a cylindrical pin that fixes the fixed position rotating plate would achieve the above-mentioned objective, leading to the invention.
[0018] That is, the rotary valve drive device of the present invention is characterized by comprising a lower base fixed to a rotary valve, a fixed position rotating plate arranged above the lower base and having the valve stem of the rotary valve fixed thereto, one or two locking members including a cylindrical pin inserted through a through hole provided in the fixed position rotating plate, an upper base arranged above the fixed position rotating plate and fixed to the lower base, and a hydraulic oscillating vane motor arranged above the upper base and applying pressurized oil to a vane to rotate an output shaft connected to the valve stem of the rotary valve.
[0019] In the gripping device of the present invention, it is preferable that the above-mentioned rotary valve drive device is composed of two locking members, and it is preferable that the outer circumferential portion of the above-mentioned lower base is provided with a recess that fits with the tip of the cylindrical pin of the above-mentioned locking member. Effect of the Invention
[0020] By using the rotary valve drive device of the present invention, the installation area can be minimized, and the rotary valve disc can be kept stationary in both the open and closed states, which effectively suppresses the impact and vibration generated when a large amount of water passes through or hits the rotary valve disc. This not only reduces the factors that can damage mechanical components, but also reduces power consumption and minimizes the rise in oil temperature. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0022] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, an embodiment of the rotary valve drive device of the present invention will be described, however, the present invention is not limited to the following embodiment.
[0023] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the rotary valve drive device 20 includes a lower base 30, a fixed position rotary plate 40, a lock member 50, an upper base 60, and a hydraulic swing vane motor 70.
[0024] The lower seat 30 is installed above the rotary valve 10 and fixed to the main body of the rotary valve 10. The lower seat 30 is provided with bolt holes 34, 34, 34, 34, 34, 34, 34, 34, as shown in Fig. 3, for example, and the lower seat 30 is fixed to the main body of the rotary valve 10 by bolting.
[0025] At the four corners of the lower pedestal 30, as shown in Fig. 3, fixed column recesses 35, 35, 35 to which fixed columns 62, 62, 62, 62 can be attached are provided, and the lower pedestal 30 is fixed to the upper pedestal 60 via the fixed columns 62, 62, 62, 62. At the center of the lower pedestal 30, as shown in Fig. 3, a valve stem through hole 31 that passes through the valve stem 11 of the rotary valve is provided, and the valve stem 11 of the rotary valve passes through.
[0026] As shown in Fig. 8, in order to more effectively prevent the valve body 12 of the rotary valve from swinging, it is preferable that the outer periphery of the lower base 30 is provided with a pin recess 33 that fits with the tip 51a of the cylindrical pin 51 of the locking member 50. When there is one locking member, two pin recesses are provided on the outer periphery of the lower base, and when there are two locking members, three pin recesses are provided on the outer periphery of the lower base.
[0027] As shown in FIG. 3, the lower base 30 may be provided with a rotation stopper projection 32 to prevent the position fixing rotation plate 40 from rotating excessively.
[0028] The fixed position rotating plate 40 is disposed above the lower base 30 and rotates simultaneously with the valve stem 11 of the rotary valve in the same direction.
[0029] 4 and 5, a valve stem through hole 41 through which the valve stem 11 of the rotary valve passes and a key through hole 42 into which a rectangular column can be inserted are provided at the center of the fixed position rotary plate 40. A rectangular column member 45 functioning as a wedge is inserted into the key through hole 42, and the valve stem 11 of the rotary valve is fixed to the fixed position rotary plate 40 through the key through hole 42.
[0030] Near the outer periphery of the position fixing rotation plate 40, there are provided two pin through holes 43 through which the cylindrical pins 51 of the locking member 50 pass, as shown in FIG. 4, when there is one locking member 50 (open state pin through hole, closed state pin through hole), and as shown in FIG. 5, when there are two locking members 50, there are three pin through holes (open state pin through hole, combined pin through hole serving both the open state pin through hole and the closed state pin through hole, closed state pin through hole), through which the cylindrical pins 51 pass as desired.
[0031] As shown in Figures 4, 5 and 6, a protrusion 44 may be provided on the outer periphery of the fixed position rotating plate 40 to prevent the fixed position rotating plate 40 from rotating excessively in combination with the rotation stop protrusion 32 of the lower base 30.
[0032] The locking member 50 prevents the valve element 12 of the rotary valve from swinging. In the present invention, the locking member 50 is made up of one or two members. If there are three or more locking members, not only will the rotary valve drive device become larger, but control of the cylindrical pin will also become too complicated. In the present invention, it is preferable that the locking member 50 is made up of two members. This is because two locking members are preferable over one, as they can fix the valve element of the rotary valve more reliably and firmly.
[0033] As shown in FIG. 7 , for example, the locking member 50 is composed of a cylindrical pin 51 that can move up and down, a hydraulic piston cylinder 52 that provides a driving force for moving the cylindrical pin 51, a connecting member 53 that connects the cylindrical pin 51 and the hydraulic piston cylinder 52, a piston cylinder mounting plate 54 to which the hydraulic piston cylinder 52 is attached, and a hexagonal support 55 that supports the piston cylinder mounting plate 54.
[0034] The hydraulic piston cylinder 52 lowers or raises the cylindrical pin 51 as appropriate based on a command from the control device 81 .
[0035] When the hydraulic piston cylinder 52 rises based on a command from the control device 81, the cylindrical pin 51 rises accordingly and is pulled out of the pin through hole 43 of the fixed rotation plate 40, and then the cylindrical pin 51 completely escapes from the pin through hole 43 of the fixed rotation plate 40. When the cylindrical pin 51 completely escapes from the pin through hole 43 of the fixed rotation plate 40, the fixed rotation plate 40 becomes rotatable, and as the output shaft 72 of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor 70 rotates, the fixed rotation plate 40 rotates in the same direction, and at the same time, the valve shaft 11 of the rotary valve also rotates in the same direction.
[0036] When the hydraulic piston cylinder 52 descends based on a command from the control device 81, the cylindrical pin 51 descends accordingly and passes through the pin through hole 43 of the fixed rotation plate 40, and the tip 51a of the cylindrical pin reaches the vicinity of the recess in the lower base 30 (FIG. 1) or the recess in the lower base 30 (FIG. 8). When the tip 51a of the cylindrical pin reaches the vicinity of the recess in the lower base 30 or the recess in the lower base 30, the fixed rotation plate 40, the valve stem 11 of the rotary valve, and the output shaft 72 of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor 70 are fixed, and the oscillation of the valve body 12 of the rotary valve and the oscillation of the rotating shaft of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor 70 are suppressed.
[0037] When the cylindrical pin 51 penetrates the pin through hole 43 of the position fixed rotating plate 40, the swinging of the valve body 12 of the rotary valve is suppressed. As shown in Fig. 8, when the tip 51a of the cylindrical pin fits into the pin recess 33 of the lower base 30, the swinging of the valve body 12 of the rotary valve is more effectively suppressed.
[0038] The upper pedestal 60 supports the locking member 50 and the hydraulic swing vane motor 70. Fixed supports 62, 62, 62, 62 are attached to the four corners of the upper pedestal 60 as shown in Fig. 9, and are fixed to the lower pedestal 30. A valve stem through hole 61 is provided in the center of the upper pedestal 60 as shown in Fig. 9, through which the valve stem 11 of the rotary valve passes. At the end of the upper pedestal 60, for example, as shown in Fig. 9, a cylindrical pin through hole 63 and hexagonal support through holes 64, 64, 64, 64 are provided, and the locking member 50 is disposed in a state of penetrating upward.
[0039] The hydraulic oscillating vane motor 70 serves to rotate the valve stem 11 of the rotary valve. As shown in Fig. 11, for example, the hydraulic oscillating vane motor 70 comprises a housing 71, an output shaft (rotating shaft) 72, a vane (blade) 73 inserted into the output shaft 72, and an oil supply and discharge port a 74 and an oil supply and discharge port b 75 for supplying pressurized oil to rotate the vane 73.
[0040] The pressurized oil sent from the hydraulic pressure generating device 82 is supplied via an oil switching valve (not shown) to either the oil supply and discharge port a74 or the oil supply and discharge port b75 of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor 70 as desired.
[0041] When pressurized oil is supplied from the oil supply and discharge port a74, it hits the right side of the vane 73, generating a large torque, causing the vane 73 to rotate to the left. As a result, the output shaft 72 of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor rotates to the left, and the valve rod 11 of the rotary valve connected to the output shaft 72 of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor rotates to the left, causing the valve body 12 of the rotary valve to rotate in the direction to open.
[0042] When pressurized oil is supplied from the oil supply and discharge port b75, it hits the left side of the vane 73, generating a large torque, causing the vane 73 to rotate to the right. As a result, the output shaft 72 of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor rotates to the right, and the valve rod 11 of the rotary valve connected to the output shaft 72 of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor rotates to the right, causing the valve body 12 of the rotary valve to rotate in the direction to close.
[0043] The output shaft 72 of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor is connected to the valve stem 11 of the rotary valve by a shaft coupling 76. The output shaft 72 of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor and the valve stem 11 of the rotary valve are provided with key recesses into which a square column functioning as a wedge can be inserted, and the insertion of the square column member makes the connection of the shaft coupling 76 stronger.
[0044] The position of the valve disc 12 of the rotary valve is detected by a rotary valve position detector 77. The rotary valve position detector 77 is attached to a rotation shaft of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor 70 corresponding to the rotation direction of the valve disc 12 of the rotary valve, for example, as shown in Figures 1 and 2. The rotary valve position detector 77 transmits position information of the valve disc 12 of the rotary valve to the control device 81 under certain conditions.
[0045] In addition to the above, the control device 81 controls the positions of the hydraulic pressure generating device 82, an oil changeover valve (not shown), and a locking member 50 based on an open signal sent from a remote operating device (not shown) to open the valve element 12 of the rotary valve to a predetermined angle and a close signal to close the valve element 12 of the rotary valve, and controls the positions of the hydraulic pressure generating device 82, an oil changeover valve (not shown), and a cylindrical pin 51 of the locking member based on position information of the valve element 12 of the rotary valve sent from the rotary valve position detector 77.
[0046] An example of the operation of the valve disc of a rotary valve from a closed state to an open state at a predetermined angle will be shown below.
[0047] The control device receives an open signal to open the valve body of the rotary valve to a predetermined angle, and sends a start signal to start the hydraulic generating device, as well as an oil supply signal to switch the oil switching valve to supply pressurized oil to the hydraulic oscillating vane motor, and sends a through hole withdrawal command signal to the locking member to withdraw the cylindrical pin from the closed state pin through hole of the position fixed rotating plate.
[0048] When the hydraulic pressure generating unit receives a start-up signal sent from the control unit, it begins to start up from a stationary state, so pressurized oil is sent to the oil changeover valve, but when the oil changeover valve receives an oil supply signal sent from the control unit, it switches the valve in the direction of supplying pressurized oil to the hydraulic oscillating vane motor, so that pressurized oil from the hydraulic pressure generating unit is supplied to the hydraulic oscillating vane motor, and the hydraulic oscillating vane motor begins to rotate.
[0049] The locking member, which receives a through-hole withdrawal command signal sent from the control device, moves the cylindrical pin in a direction to withdraw it from the closed-state pin through-hole of the position-fixed rotating plate, thereby making the position-fixed rotating plate rotatable. When the hydraulic oscillating vane motor starts to rotate, the valve stem of the rotary valve connected to the output shaft of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor rotates in the same direction, and accordingly, the valve body of the rotary valve rotates in a direction to open the valve.
[0050] When the rotary valve rotates to a predetermined angle, the rotary valve position detector detects that the rotary valve has rotated to the predetermined angle and transmits a rotation stop signal to the control device.
[0051] The control device receives the rotation stop signal sent from the rotary valve position detector and transmits a stop signal to stop the hydraulic generating device, as well as an oil stop signal to stop the supply of pressurized oil to the hydraulic oscillating vane motor, and transmits a through-hole pushing command signal to the locking member to push the locking member into the open state pin through-hole of the position fixed rotating plate.
[0052] The hydraulic pressure generating device, upon receiving the stop signal sent from the control device, stops operating, and the oil switching valve, upon receiving the oil stop signal sent from the control device, switches the valve in a direction not to supply pressurized oil to the hydraulic oscillating vane motor, so that pressurized oil from the hydraulic pressure generating device is not supplied to the hydraulic oscillating vane motor, and rotation of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor stops.
[0053] When the locking member receives a through hole pushing command signal sent from the control device, it moves the cylindrical pin in a direction to push it into the open state pin through hole of the position fixing rotation plate, rendering the position fixing rotation plate non-rotatable.
[0054] When the fixed position rotary plate becomes unable to rotate, the valve disc of the rotary valve is fixed and maintained in an open state at a specified angle, suppressing the shock and vibration that occurs when a large amount of water passes through the valve disc of the rotary valve. When the hydraulic oscillating vane motor stops rotating, the temperature rise of the oil inside the hydraulic oscillating vane motor is suppressed.
[0055] Next, an example of the operation of the rotary valve from an open state, in which the valve disc is open to a predetermined angle, to a closed state will be described below.
[0056] The control device, which receives a closure signal to close the valve body of the rotary valve, transmits a start signal to start the hydraulic generating device, transmits an oil supply signal to switch the oil switching valve to supply pressurized oil to the hydraulic oscillating vane motor, and transmits a through-hole withdrawal command signal to the locking member to withdraw the cylindrical pin from the open-state pin through-hole of the position-fixed rotating plate.
[0057] When the hydraulic pressure generating unit receives a start-up signal sent from the control unit, it begins to start up from a stationary state, and pressurized oil is sent to the oil switching valve. When the oil switching valve receives an oil supply signal sent from the control unit, it switches the valve in the direction of supplying pressurized oil to the hydraulic oscillating vane motor, and therefore pressurized oil from the hydraulic pressure generating unit is supplied to the hydraulic oscillating vane motor, causing the hydraulic oscillating vane motor to rotate in the direction opposite to the direction described above.
[0058] The locking member, which receives a through-hole withdrawal command signal sent from the control device, moves the cylindrical pin in a direction to withdraw it from the open-state pin through-hole of the fixed-position rotating plate, thereby making the fixed-position rotating plate rotatable. When the hydraulic oscillating vane motor starts to rotate, the valve stem of the rotary valve connected to the output shaft of the hydraulic oscillating vane motor rotates in the same direction, and accordingly, the valve body of the rotary valve rotates in a direction to close the valve.
[0059] When the valve disc of the rotary valve is in a closed state, the rotary valve position detector detects that the valve disc of the rotary valve is in a closed state and transmits a rotation stop signal to the control device.
[0060] When the control device receives the rotation stop signal sent from the rotary valve position detector, it sends a through hole pushing command signal to the locking member to instruct it to push the cylindrical pin into the closed state pin through hole of the position fixed rotating plate.
[0061] When the locking member receives a through hole pushing command signal sent from the control device, it moves the cylindrical pin in a direction to push it into the closed state pin through hole of the position fixing rotation plate, rendering the position fixing rotation plate non-rotatable.
[0062] When the position fixed rotating plate becomes unable to rotate, the control device sends a stop signal to stop the hydraulic generating device, and also sends an oil stop signal to switch the oil switching valve to stop the supply of pressurized oil to the hydraulic oscillating vane motor.
[0063] The hydraulic pressure generating device, upon receiving the stop signal sent from the control device, stops operating, and the oil switching valve, upon receiving the oil stop signal sent from the control device, switches the valve in a direction that does not supply pressurized oil to the hydraulic oscillating vane motor, so that pressurized oil from the hydraulic pressure generating device is not supplied to the hydraulic oscillating vane motor, and the hydraulic oscillating vane motor stops rotating.
[0064] When the fixed position plate becomes unable to rotate, the rotary valve is fixed in the closed state, suppressing the shock and vibration that occurs when a large amount of water hits the valve body of the rotary valve. When the hydraulic oscillating vane motor stops rotating, the temperature rise of the oil inside the hydraulic oscillating vane motor is suppressed. [Explanation of symbols]
