Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] To provide a roll sheet holder that can prevent unintentional or unlimited pulling out of a rolled sheet, such as toilet paper, without impairing the usability when the sheet is pulled out and used. [Background technology]
[0002] A typical example of a sheet wound into a scroll (hereinafter referred to as a "roll sheet" in this application) is toilet paper, and such a roll sheet can be pulled out in an unlimited amount to the end of the roll at any desired length.
[0003] Modern toilet paper has perforations formed across its width at predetermined circumferential length intervals, designed to allow easy cutting in a straight line at the desired circumferential length, but the perforations are merely a guide for the circumferential length, and the roll can still be pulled out without limit until it reaches the end.
[0004] Therefore, for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2 have proposed techniques for preventing toilet paper from being endlessly pulled out to the end of the roll. Patent Document 1 (JP 2002-336159 A) proposes a device for supplying an appropriate amount of toilet paper (roll sheet holder) that is composed of a friction roll that is pressed against the toilet paper that rotates in one direction when the toilet paper is pulled out, a one-way rotating plate that rotates by the driving force of the friction roll, a reversing plate that is journalled on a gear shaft of the one-way rotating plate, a stopper claw that can be freely engaged and disengaged with a locking step provided on part of the circumference of the one-way rotating plate and the reversing plate, a simultaneous rotation boss that rotates the one-way rotating plate and the reversing plate in the same direction, a reversing claw that can be freely engaged and disengaged with the simultaneous rotation boss, a reversing start positioning claw that is engaged with the reversing claw to reverse the reversing plate and suppress the rotation of the friction roll, and a reduction gear that is journalled on the gear shaft and has a fixed outer ring that covers the rotating inner ring with a gap between their circumferential surfaces and in which a viscous liquid is sealed in the gap.
[0005] Patent Document 2 (JP 2022-104119 A) describes a long main body, a first rod provided at one end of the main body and extending in a predetermined direction from the one end, a second rod provided on the other end side of the main body with respect to the one end and extending parallel to the first rod, a movement mechanism that allows at least one of the first rod and the second rod to move along the long direction of the main body, and a mechanism for moving the first rod and the second rod. A device for preventing toilet paper from being pulled out (roll sheet holder) has been proposed, which comprises: a clamping means for bringing the movable rod portion closer to the other rod portion by the moving mechanism; at least one of the first rod portion and the second rod portion is inserted into the hollow core portion of the toilet paper, and the other abuts against the outer periphery of the toilet paper, and the toilet paper is clamped in the thickness direction by the clamping means between the first rod portion and the second rod portion.
[0006] However, in the configurations of Patent Documents 1 and 2, a roller (hereinafter referred to as an "interlocking roller") that constantly rotates in conjunction with the use of the roll is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the roll on which the sheet is wound, in both cases, so there is a problem that the structure must be made large (it cannot be made compact) in order to ensure the movement stroke of the interlocking roller from the roll winding diameter at the beginning of the sheet withdrawal to the roll winding diameter at the end of the withdrawal, that is, from the large diameter to the small diameter.
[0007] In addition, in Patent Documents 1 and 2, in order to remove the used roll and replace it with an unused roll, it is necessary to retract the interlocking roller to the initial roll winding diameter (large diameter) position. At this time, however, the pressure of the interlocking roller in the direction of the smaller diameter creates resistance when replacing the unused roll, making the replacement work time-consuming or incomplete.
[0008] Furthermore, in Patent Documents 1 and 2, there are problems with the friction between the interlocking roller and the sheet at the outermost circumference of the roll, the pressure of the interlocking roller in the direction of the smaller diameter, and the perforations in the sheet. If these factors are not balanced well, the sheet may be cut (by the perforations) when it is pulled out an unintended, extremely short distance, and it is difficult to adjust the balance. In addition, the interlocking roller and the sheet at the outermost circumference of the roll are in direct contact with each other, which is undesirable in terms of recent sensitivity to hygiene management. [0009] [Patent Document 1] JP 2002-336159 A [Patent Document 2] JP 2022-104119 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0010] The problems to be solved are that the conventional configuration, in which an interlocking roller that rotates in conjunction with the use of a roll on which a sheet is wound is constantly in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the roll, does not allow for a compact structure, the replacement work when replacing an unused roll is time-consuming or incomplete, the sheet is cut (by the perforations) if it is unintentionally pulled out by an extremely short distance, and is also undesirable from the standpoint of hygiene management. [Means for solving the problem]
[0011] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention has a configuration comprising an axial portion that is inserted into a roll core of a roll sheet and contacts the inner surface of the roll core, a plate body integrally formed at the end opposite the insertion side of the axial portion, a spiral groove formed on the surface of the plate body, a movable rod provided on the side of the plate body where the spiral groove is formed, an engagement portion provided on the movable rod that engages with the spiral groove, and an abutment portion that abuts against a part of the movable rod. Effect of the Invention
[0012] The present invention does not have a component that comes into contact with the outermost sheet of the roll sheet, i.e., the interlocking roll as in the conventional configuration, and the shaft portion is inserted into the roll core of the roll sheet and functions as a holder for the roll sheet, which makes it possible to miniaturize the structure and eliminates concerns about hygiene.Furthermore, there are advantages such that the replacement work is not time-consuming or incomplete when replacing an unused roll, and since there is no pressure from the interlocking roll, the sheet is not cut (by the perforations) by unintentionally pulling out an extremely short amount. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0014] The present invention achieves the objective of obtaining a roll sheet holder that is hygienic as well, which can be made compact, allows simple and reliable replacement of unused rolls, suppresses unintended unlimited sheet withdrawal while preventing the sheet from being cut (by perforations) due to an unintended, extremely short withdrawal amount, and is preferable by a configuration having a shaft portion that is inserted into the roll core of the roll sheet and contacts the inner surface of the roll core, a plate body integrally formed at the end opposite the insertion side of the shaft portion, a spiral groove formed on the surface of the plate body, a movable rod provided on the side of the plate body where the spiral groove is formed, a fitting portion provided on the movable rod that fits into the spiral groove, and an abutment portion that abuts against a part of the movable rod.
[0015] In the present invention, the rotation of the roll accompanying the drawing of the sheet is converted into the movement of the movable rod by the spiral groove. That is, the fitting part of the movable rod fits into the spiral groove, and when the shaft part and the plate rotate as the sheet is drawn out, the movable rod moves toward the abutment part, guided by the spiral groove. When the movable rod abuts on the abutment part, the movable rod cannot move any further, and thus the rotation of the roll is braked relatively via the plate body on which the spiral groove is formed, the shaft part integral with the plate body, and the inner peripheral surface of the roll core with which the shaft part is in contact. When the rotation of the roll is braked, the sheet is cut by the force in the drawing direction of the sheet.
[0016] After the sheet is cut, the movable rod is returned to its original position before it was moved, but the user moves only the movable rod, and the plate body and shaft part on which the spiral groove is formed are not rotated (they do not rotate). The movable rod is returned to its original position in the spiral groove by the user, repeatedly moving in and out of the groove parts that make up the spiral groove and out of the flat part that is the surface of the plate, so as to traverse the spiral groove in the plate.
[0017] The task of the user returning the movable rod to its original position before it was moved may seem like a hassle, but in order to prevent unintentional or unlimited pulling out, not only is it necessary to quantify the amount of pulling out, but it is also necessary to take the time to return the movable rod to its original position before it was moved.
[0018] That is, the present invention is configured to prevent unlimited pulling out by imposing "effort" on the user while pursuing the convenience of pulling out a fixed amount of sheets. In this respect, with the above configuration, the sheet cannot be pulled out unless the user returns the moving rod to the position in the spiral groove before it was moved, in other words, without such "effort". Therefore, after the sheet is pulled out once by a fixed amount and cut, if it is not needed (even though it is not needed), the possibility of going to the trouble of pulling out the sheet again by "effort" is significantly reduced.
[0019] In addition, in the above-mentioned configuration, the present invention may also be configured to provide a spring that accumulates a spring force when the sheet of the roll sheet is pulled out, and when the sheet is cut, releases the accumulated spring force to return the moving rod to its position before movement.
[0020] In the above configuration, the spring may be, for example, a spiral spring having one end engaged with the outer peripheral surface of the shaft portion of the plate body on the insertion side thereof, and the other end engaged with a part of the interior of the housing that contains the plate body and the movable rod.
[0021] When a spiral spring is used, when the roll rotates as the sheet is pulled out, the fitting part on the moving rod is guided by the spiral groove and moves until the moving rod abuts on the abutment part, at which point the spiral spring (tightens) and accumulates a biasing force. Then, when the sheet is cut after this, the biasing force of the spiral spring accumulated by the sheet being pulled out up to that point is released, and the plate on which the spiral groove is formed and the shaft part formed integrally with the plate, i.e., the roll, rotate in the opposite direction to the rotation of the sheet being pulled out.
[0022] Then, due to the reverse rotation of the roll, the movable rod is guided by the spiral groove and returned to its original position (in the spiral groove) before the sheet was pulled out. In this way, it is not necessary to return the movable rod each time after the sheet is pulled out, making it easier to use than the above method.
[0023] In the configuration with the spiral spring, the work of returning the moving rod each time after the sheet is pulled out is eliminated, but another work is required to prevent the sheet from being pulled out in vain. That is, when the sheet is cut (when the moving rod abuts on the abutment part), the roll rotates in the opposite direction to the pulling direction, and the cutting position of the sheet on the roll moves from the current cutting position.
[0024] When attempting to pull out the sheet unintentionally or without limit, the "effort" of searching for the next end of the sheet on the roll is required. Although the effort of searching for the end is required even in normal use, the sheet cannot be pulled out without going through such an effort, so that after a fixed amount of the sheet has been pulled out once and cut, if it is not needed (even though it is not needed), the possibility of having to go to the trouble of searching for the end of the sheet and pulling out the sheet again can be significantly reduced. EXAMPLES
[0025] A first embodiment and a second embodiment as an example of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. The basic configuration of the present invention will be described in the first embodiment, and a configuration different from the first embodiment will be described in the second embodiment. Explanations of members common to the first embodiment will be omitted and common reference numerals will be used. Figures 1 to 4 show the configuration of the first embodiment, and Figures 5 to 7 show the configuration of the second embodiment. (First embodiment) The roll sheet RS used in the roll sheet holder 1 (hereinafter referred to as holder 1) is configured in such a way that a sheet S is wound around a roll core R, and although not shown in the figure, perforations are formed in the width direction of the sheet S at predetermined circumferential lengths.
[0026] The roll sheet RS in this example will be described below as a typical, ordinary toilet paper as defined by the JIS standard, with the axial length of the roll core R (width of the sheet S) being 114 mm, the inner diameter of the roll core R being 38 mm, and the unused diameter after the sheet S is wound around the roll core R (diameter of the roll sheet RS) being 120 mm.
[0027] The holder 1 has the following configuration inside a housing 2 that is attached to a wall surface. The holder 1 in this example will be described as having an extremely simple configuration that supports the rolled sheet RS at one end, covers the upper peripheral surface (outer periphery) of the rolled sheet RS, and does not have a cover for pressing against the sheet S on the outer periphery of the rolled sheet RS to cut the sheet S. Of course, in the present invention, a configuration that supports both ends of the shaft of the rolled sheet RS and a configuration that has the above-mentioned cover may also be used.
[0028] The housing 2 includes a housing 2A on the side of the roll sheet RS, and a housing 2B that is connected to the housing 2B by forming an internal hollow space. The housing 2A is thin and has a shaft hole 2Aa formed in the approximate center, penetrating from the front to the back, into which a shaft portion 3 described below is inserted. In addition, bosses 2Ab are formed at predetermined locations (four locations in this example) on the outer edge of the surface of the housing 2A that is connected to the housing 2B.
[0029] The housing 2B has an open surface on the side where it is joined to the thin plate-like housing 2A, and is formed with a concave cross section by an adjacent surface 2Ba perpendicular to the surface on the joining side and a surface 2Bb facing the surface on the joining side. The housing 2A covers the open surface of the housing 2B, forming an internal hollow space.
[0030] The adjacent surface 2Ba of the housing 2B which is perpendicular to the surface on the joining side with the housing 2A is composed, in this example, of a straight wall surface 2Ba1 formed on the side that contacts the mounting surface W of the holder 1, straight wall surfaces 2Ba2, 2Ba2 formed at both ends of this wall surface 2Ba1 so as to be adjacent to and perpendicular to the wall surface 2Ba1, and an approximately semicircular arc-shaped wall surface 2Ba3 formed so as to be located at the end of these wall surfaces 2Ba2, 2Ba2 opposite the side adjacent to the wall surface 2Ba1.
[0031] On the inner surface of the opposing surface 2Bb of the housing 2B, in this example, rails 2a consisting of two wall surfaces protruding inwardly are formed toward between the respective central positions of the wall surfaces 2Ba1 and 2Ba3, which movably support a movable rod 5 described below. Also, on the inner surface of the opposing surface 2Bb, between the rails 2a, a guide hole 2b is formed penetrating from front to back in the same direction as the rails 2a. Furthermore, a guide groove 2c for guiding the movement of the movable rod 5 is formed at the same position as the rail 2a on the outer surface of the opposing surface 2Bb.
[0032] Furthermore, a screw hole 2Bc that fits into the boss 2Ab is formed in the housing 2B at a position corresponding to the boss 2Ab of the housing 2A, and when the housings 2A and 2B are joined, a screw B is screwed into the screw hole 2Bc that fits into the boss 2Ab from the side of the housing 2A opposite to the side that is joined to the housing 2B.
[0033] The housing 2 has the following components which form the basic configuration of the holder 1 of the present invention. That is, the holder 1 has a shaft portion 3 which is inserted into the roll core R and comes into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the roll core R, a plate body 4 which is integrally provided at the end opposite to the insertion side of the shaft portion 3, a spiral groove 4A formed on the surface of the plate body 4, a movable rod 5 which is provided on the side of the plate body 5 where the spiral groove 4A is formed, a fitting portion 5A which is provided on the movable rod 5, which fits into the spiral groove 4A and is biased towards the spiral groove 4A side, and an abutting portion 4B which is provided at a predetermined position of the plate body 4 and comes into contact with a part of the movable rod 6.
[0034] Since the shaft portion 3 needs to be inserted into the roll core R and come into contact with the inner surface, in this example, a taper 3a is formed at the tip (the end portion on the insertion side) of the outer periphery of the shaft portion 3, and notched grooves 3b are formed at equal angular intervals in the circumferential direction, and a leaf spring 3c is interposed at the rear end of the notched grooves 3b, i.e., the end portion on the connection side with the plate body 4.
[0035] The leaf spring 3c has, for example, a rear end bent toward the shaft 3 in the above-mentioned direction and a front end connected to the notched groove 3b. That is, the leaf spring 3c is further bent with the front end as a fulcrum when the bent portion of the rear end is inserted into the roll core R, and the rebound (restoring elasticity) of this bending brings the leaf spring 3c into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the roll core R so as to exert a high frictional force.
[0036] Therefore, when the shaft portion 3 is fitted onto the roll core R, it is in close contact with the leaf spring 3c and rotates with the rotation of the roll core R when the sheet S is pulled out from the roll sheet RS. The leaf spring 3c of the shaft portion 3 is not limited to this, and any material or structure that is unlikely to slip due to contact with the inner peripheral surface of the roll core R, such as rubber or resin, may be used.
[0037] In this embodiment, the shaft portion 3 is fitted into the roll core R by about ¼ of the shaft length of the roll sheet RS, but may be fitted in by a greater distance.
[0038] The plate body 4 is integral with the shaft portion 3. This integration means that it rotates in sync with the rotation of the shaft portion 3, i.e., the rotation of the rolled sheet RS. Therefore, as long as the plate body 4 and the shaft portion 3 rotate in sync, any method of integration can be used, such as joining separate members together, integral molding, or any other method.
[0039] The diameter of the plate 4 should be such that it can form a spiral groove 4A with a length from the central end to the outer circumferential end of, for example, 1500 mm, and the size of the housing 2 can be made as small as possible, and in this example, a disk-shaped spiral groove 4A is used with a diameter equivalent to, for example, the diameter of an unused rolled sheet RS, adjusted by adjusting the groove width and the pitch between the grooves. Note that the external shape does not have to be circular, as long as it does not come into contact with other members inside the housing 2 and does not impede smooth rotation associated with the rotation of the rolled sheet RS.
[0040] The spiral groove 4A formed on the surface of the plate 4 opposite to the side where the shaft portion 3 is provided is formed in an arc-shaped cross section with a depth that fits a predetermined arc of a ball plunger 5A of the movable rod 5 described later. By forming the spiral groove 4A in an arc-shaped cross section, the movable rod 5 can be smoothly returned to the position before it was moved. In this example, the outer periphery of the spiral groove 4A is set as the movement start side of the movable rod 5, and the movable rod 5 is guided toward its central portion by the spiral groove 4A.
[0041] Furthermore, in this example, the contact portion 5A formed on the outer periphery of the plate body 4 comes into contact with the moving rod 5 when the moving rod 5 moves linearly along the spiral groove 4A, thereby preventing further rotation of the plate body 4, the shaft portion 3, and the rolled sheet RS, but the positioning of the contact portion 5A is not limited to that in this example. This point will be described later.
[0042] In this example, the movable rod 5 is provided on the side of the plate 4 where the spiral groove 4A is formed, and is composed of a main body 5a disposed within the housing 2, and a lever portion 5b connected to the main body 5a and exposed from the housing 2B. In this example, the movable rod 5 is made into a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape that is long in the direction connecting the respective centers of the wall surface 2Ba1 and the wall surface 2Ba3 of the housing 2, and is fitted into a rail 2a formed on the opposing surface 2Bb of the housing 2 and is guided linearly along the rail 2a.
[0043] In the present embodiment, the main body 5a of the movable rod 5a is provided with a ball plunger 5A as a fitting part at a position facing the spiral groove 4A at the end on the wall surface 2Ba1 side. The ball plunger 5A biases the ball inside toward the spiral groove 4A (plate body 4). The cross section of the recessed portion of the spiral groove 4A is shaped according to the protruding arc of the ball.
[0044] A pin 5c for coupling with the lever portion 5b is provided at a predetermined position on the side of the main body 5a opposite to the side where the ball plunger 5A is provided (the lever portion 5b side). The pin 5c passes through a guide hole 2b formed in the opposing surface 2Bb of the housing 2 and is coupled to the lever portion 5b.
[0045] The lever portion 5b is shaped like a rectangular parallelepiped similar to the main body portion 5a and fits into a guide groove 2c formed on the outer surface of the opposing surface 2Bb of the housing 2, and is provided with a boss 5d into which the pin 5c of the main body portion 5a fits. A rib 5e is formed on the surface of the main body portion 5a on the lever portion 5b side to reduce the contact area with the inner surface of the opposing surface 2Bb and facilitate movement.
[0046] In the holder 1 of the present invention, the amount of pull-out of the sheet S can be adjusted by adjusting the amount of movement of the movable rod 5 in the spiral groove 4A depending on the position of the abutment portion 4B. However, this is not limited to the above configuration. For example, in the guide groove 2c, an abutment member that prevents the movable rod 5 from moving further in the direction in which the lever portion 5b of the movable rod 5 moves when pulling out the sheet S may be provided.
[0047] The holder 1 having the above configuration operates as follows. To attach the rolled sheet RS to the holder 1, the shaft 3 is inserted toward the roll core R of the rolled sheet RS against the biasing force of the leaf spring 3c. This causes the outer periphery of the shaft 3 to adhere closely to the inner periphery of the roll core R due to the elastic restoring force of the leaf spring 3c, allowing the shaft 3 and plate material 4 to rotate in synchronization with the rotation of the rolled sheet RS.
[0048] Next, if the movable rod 5 has not been returned to its initial position, the user operates the lever portion 5b to move the entire movable rod 5 linearly in the direction of the mounting surface W (the direction of the wall surface 2Ba3 of the housing 2) along the rail 2a, the guide hole 2b, and the guide groove 2c in this example. At this time, the ball of the ball plunger 5A is biased (protrudes) in the portion of the plate material 4 where the spiral groove 4A is formed, and the biasing force is accumulated (retracts) in the portion where the spiral groove 4A is not formed, and this is repeated alternately.
[0049] When a user pulls out the sheet S from the rolled sheet RS, the rolled sheet RS rotates accordingly, which in turn rotates the shaft 3 and the plate 4. Then, with the ball of the ball plunger 5A still protruding, the entire movable rod 5 is guided from the outer periphery of the spiral groove 4A to the center by the rotation of the plate 4, and in this example, moves from the opposing surface 2Bb to the wall surface 2Ba3.
[0050] In this example, when the end of the movable rod 5 opposite the side on which the ball plunger 5A is provided reaches (moves to) a predetermined position toward the wall surface 2Ba3, that is, the outer peripheral edge position of the plate body 4, it abuts against the abutment portion 4B, and further rotation of the plate body 4 and the shaft portion 3 due to the pulling out of the sheet S in the roll sheet RS is prohibited.
[0051] If the sheet S is cut before the contact portion 4B and the movable rod 5 come into contact with each other, the sheet S can be pulled out again the next time, but after the contact portion 4B and the movable rod 5 come into contact with each other, the roll sheet RS does not rotate in the direction in which the sheet S is pulled out, as described above, so the sheet S cannot be pulled out unless the movable rod 5 is returned to its initial position. When the contact portion 4B and the movable rod 5 come into contact with each other, the user returns the movable rod 5 to its initial position as described above.
[0052] In this way, in this example, it is possible to pull out a fixed amount of sheets S, and by requiring the user to deliberately move the movable rod 5 to the initial position, i.e., by making it a configuration that requires "effort", it is possible to prevent unlimited pulling out of sheets S.
[0053] (Second Example) In the first embodiment, after the sheet S is pulled out and cut, the user returns the movable rod 5 to its initial position. In contrast, in the second embodiment, when the sheet S is pulled out and cut, i.e., when the force to pull out the sheet S is no longer being applied, the movable rod 5 returns to its initial position regardless of the user.
[0054] That is, the configuration of the second embodiment differs greatly from that of the first embodiment in that a spiral spring 6 (also called a "main spring" or "spiral spring") is provided between the inner side of the movable rod 5 housing 2a and the side opposite to the side where the spiral groove 4A is formed of the plate body 4. The spiral spring 6 is wound (tightened) around the center to accumulate a biasing force when the shaft portion 3 rotates due to the drawing out of the sheet S, and is released (unwound) to bias in the opposite direction to the rotation due to the drawing out of the sheet S when the sheet S is cut.
[0055] In this example, one end of the spiral spring 6 located at the center of the winding is an operating end and engages with an engagement pin 3d formed on the shaft portion 3, and the other end at the outer periphery is a fixed end and engages with an engagement pin 2d formed on the inner surface of the housing 2A.
[0056] In the second embodiment, the movable rod 5 is not exposed to the outside of the opposing surface 2Bb of the housing 2, but is disposed within the housing 2. Accordingly, the movable rod 5 does not include the lever portion 5b, the opposing surface 2Bb of the main body portion 5a is a closed surface, and the pin 5c is omitted. Also, the housing 2a does not include the guide hole 2b and the guide groove 2c.
[0057] The holder 1 of the second embodiment operates as follows. The method of attaching the roll sheet RS to the holder 1 is the same as in the first embodiment, so a detailed description will be omitted. In the second embodiment, the user is not aware of the presence of the movable rod 5, so there is no need to operate the movable rod 5 as in the first embodiment.
[0058] Now, a user who is trying to pull out sheet S searches for the pull-out end of sheet S in the roll sheet RS. When the user searches for the pull-out end of sheet S, the rotation direction of roll sheet RS may be reversed from the forward pull-out direction, but the spiral spring 6 has some rewinding margin to allow this reverse rotation as well. In the case of forward rotation, a biasing force is accumulated even when searching for the pull-out end of sheet S.
[0059] When a user pulls out the rolled sheet RS, the rolled sheet RS rotates in response to the pull, and the shaft 3 and the plate 4 also rotate. Then, the entire movable rod 5, with the ball of the ball plunger 5A still protruding, is guided from the outer periphery of the spiral groove 4A to the center by the rotation of the plate 4, and in this example, moves from the opposing surface 2Bb to the wall surface 2Ba3. As the sheet S is pulled out and rotated, the spiral spring 6 is wound up and the biasing force is accumulated.
[0060] In this example, when the end of the movable rod 5 opposite the side on which the ball plunger 5A is provided reaches (moves to) a predetermined position toward the wall surface 2Ba3, that is, the outer peripheral edge position of the plate body 4, it abuts against the abutment portion 4B, and further rotation of the plate body 4 and the shaft portion 3 due to the pulling out of the sheet S in the roll sheet RS is prohibited.
[0061] If the sheet S is cut before the contact portion 4B comes into contact with the movable rod 5, the spiral spring 6 rewinds at that point, and the spring force causes the sheet S to rotate in the opposite direction to the rotation caused by the sheet S being pulled out. After the contact portion 4B comes into contact with the movable rod 5, the roll sheet RS does not rotate in the direction in which the sheet S is pulled out, as described above, so the sheet S is cut by the force in the pulling out direction. When the sheet S is cut, the spiral spring 6 rewinds at that point, and the spring force causes the sheet S to rotate in the opposite direction to the rotation caused by the sheet S being pulled out.
[0062] When the spiral spring 6 rotates in the reverse direction due to rewinding, the entire movable rod 5 is guided from the outer periphery of the spiral groove 4A to the center by the rotation of the plate 4, with the ball of the ball plunger 5A still protruding, and returns to the initial position.
[0063] In the first embodiment, the user operates the movable rod 5 itself to return it to its initial position, i.e., the shaft 3 and plate body 4 do not rotate, and therefore the cutting position of the sheet S does not move circumferentially from the point of cutting. However, in the second embodiment, as described above, the rewinding of the spiral spring 6 causes the roll sheet RS, shaft 3 and plate body 4 to rotate in the reverse direction, and therefore the cutting position of the sheet S moves circumferentially from the point of cutting.
[0064] In the second embodiment, it is possible to pull out a fixed amount of sheet S, and the cutting position of sheet S moves circumferentially from the cut point, i.e., the user does not have to take the time to search for the end of the sheet S the next time he or she tries to pull out sheet S, thereby preventing unlimited pulling out of sheet S.
