Abstract

To provide a pipe joint that can appropriately prevent damage to a rubber ring.SOLUTION: A pipe joint comprises a vertical pipe part and a branch pipe part 16. The branch pipe part includes: a socket body into which an end of a horizontal drain pipe is inserted; a rubber ring groove 64 formed on an inner peripheral surface of the socket body; a rubber ring having a rubber ring body and a lip part; and a space formation part 82 formed continuous with a deep-side wall part 70 of the rubber ring groove on the inner peripheral surface 60a of the socket body, wherein a relief space 82a communicating with an interior space 64a of the rubber ring groove is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
