AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing induction cooking devices require users to select and start heating operations manually, which can be complex and time-consuming, especially when multiple heating units are involved.

Method used

The induction cooking device incorporates a control unit that allows for automatic selection of heating coil units after power is turned on, enabling users to start heating with a single operation of the heating start key.

Benefits of technology

This solution improves user operability by reducing the number of operations required from power-on to heating start, making the device more convenient and user-friendly.

Abstract

To provide an induction heating cooker capable of improving operability.SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker comprises: a first heating part having first and second coil units; a first operation part for receiving a user operation regarding the first heating part; a control part for limiting a heating operation by the first heating part; and a power source switch. The induction heating cooker is configured such that the control part heats one heating target either by: a heating operation for flowing high-frequency currents simultaneously to the first and second coil units; or a heating operation for flowing a high-frequency current selectively to one of the first and second coil units. The control part can be operated in one mode selected from a plurality of modes having different initial operations after the power source is turned on. In an automatic selection mode among the plurality of modes, the control part pre-selects at least one of the first and second coil units after the power source is turned on. Further, when the first operation part receives one operation of a heating start key, the control part performs the control for flowing a high-frequency current to the selected coil unit of the first heating part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18A
