Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a cooling / heating medium composition, a circulating thermostatic device, and a method for producing the cooling / heating medium composition. [Background technology]
[0002] 2. Description of the Related Art There is known a circulating thermostatic device that maintains a controlled object, such as various devices or processes, at a preset temperature by circulating a circulating fluid whose liquid temperature is controlled through the controlled object.
[0003] The circulating liquid may be, for example, water, alcohol, glycols, a fluorine-based inert liquid, etc. The fluorine-based inert liquid is particularly suitable because it is a non-flammable liquid.
[0004] However, as a way to deal with global warming, which is a global-scale environmental destruction problem, interest is growing in cooling and heating fluids with extremely low global warming potential. In particular, perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) have a high global warming potential, so candidate compounds that can serve as replacements for them are being sought. [0005] [Patent Document 1] JP 2001-55592 A [Patent Document 2] Patent No. 6237942 [Patent Document 3] Patent No. 4602140 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] An object of the present invention is to provide a cooling / heating medium composition having high transparency and water separation properties, a method for producing the same, and a circulating thermostatic device. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] According to an embodiment, a cooling / heating medium composition is provided. The cooling / heating medium composition includes a low molecular weight ester compound having a melting point of −15° C. or less and a boiling point of 150° C. or more, and a polysiloxane having a phenyl group.
[0008] According to an embodiment, a circulating thermostatic apparatus is provided. The circulating thermostatic apparatus includes a container that contains a cooling / heating medium composition according to another embodiment.
[0009] According to an embodiment, there is provided a method for producing a cooling / heating medium composition according to another embodiment, which includes heating a mixture of a low molecular weight ester compound and a polysiloxane having a phenyl group at a temperature of 60° C. or higher and 120° C. or lower. Effect of the Invention
[0010] According to the present invention, there are provided a cooling / heating medium composition having high transparency and water separation properties, a method for producing the same, and a circulating thermostatic device. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0011] The cooling medium used as the circulating fluid is required to meet various requirements, such as electrical conductivity, insulation, availability, safety, low viscosity, and high specific gravity. Here, the circulating device for the cooling medium is classified into a closed system circulating device in which the flow path of the cooling medium is sealed, and an open system circulating device in which the circulating fluid is stored in a tank that contacts the outside. The cooling medium for the open system circulating device is also required to have a high boiling point. A low molecular weight ester compound having a melting point of -15°C or less and a boiling point of 150°C or more is a stable liquid compound in the range of more than -15°C and less than 150°C, and can meet these requirements.
[0012] On the other hand, the circulating fluid for an analytical device may be required to have high transparency and separability from water. That is, if water is mixed into the circulating fluid due to condensation or the like, it becomes difficult to remove the water from the circulating fluid if the circulating fluid has high compatibility with water, and therefore the circulating fluid must be frequently replaced. The low molecular weight ester compound has high compatibility with water, and water separation tends to be difficult.
[0013] The cooling / heating medium composition according to the embodiment contains a low molecular weight ester compound having a melting point of -15°C or less and a boiling point of 150°C or more, and a polysiloxane having a phenyl group. It is considered that such a cooling / heating medium composition can achieve high transparency and separability from water because the polysiloxane having a phenyl group has high compatibility with the low molecular weight ester compound and low compatibility with water.
[0014] In addition, the circulating fluid is also required to be less corrosive to the components that come into contact with the cooling and heating medium liquid, such as the circulating piping in the circulating thermostatic bath and surrounding components.Various resins are often used for the components of the circulating thermostatic bath, including polystyrene (PS) resin, polycarbonate (PC) resin, polyethylene (PE) resin, polypropylene (PP) resin, acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer (AS) resin, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS) resin, polyurethane (PU) resin, acrylic resin, and polyester resin.
