Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a concentrating and dewatering machine used for concentrating and dewatering various pulps. [Background technology]

[0002] The concentrating dehydrator shown in Patent Document 1 has a raw material inlet at the bottom of a raw material storage tank, a raw material outlet at the top, and two dehydration drums with water holes such as punched metal are arranged in parallel inside the raw material storage tank. The two dehydration drums rotate in opposite directions from bottom to top at the tangent line where they come into contact with each other. Furthermore, the dehydration drum on the raw material outlet side rotates in a fixed state at the installed position, and a fine mesh wire net is attached to the outer periphery of the dehydration drum. The dehydration drum on the opposite side is tilted with the lower part as a fulcrum by an air spring, and a coarse mesh wire net is attached to the outer periphery of the dehydration drum. Both end faces of the two dehydration drums are opened, and the inside of the dehydration drum communicates with a drainage port provided on the side of the raw material storage tank through these openings.

[0003] In this concentrating dehydrator, raw material consisting of water containing about 2 to 3% stock fiber is fed into the raw material storage tank from the raw material inlet. The raw material flows into the inside of the dehydration drum through the holes in the wire mesh and punched metal. As the dehydration drum rotates, the raw material is dehydrated, and the stock fiber is carried upward while being caught on the edge of the hole and the wire mesh. The movable dehydration drum is compressed against the fixed dehydration drum by the action of the air spring, and is further dehydrated. At the same time, the stock fiber on the movable side is drawn to the fixed side and becomes a single plate-like state. This is peeled off by the doctor and transported to the next process. Meanwhile, the water is drained from the drain outlet.

[0004] In addition, the concentrating and dehydrating machine shown in Patent Document 2 retains the basic configuration of the concentrating and dehydrating machine described in Patent Document 1, but by changing the location of the drain outlet and adopting a waterproof connection structure, the dehydrating effect is further improved. The concentrating and dehydrating machines of the type described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 achieve a high dehydration and concentration effect by filtering and draining the wastewater in a dehydration drum by setting the water level, and by dehydrating and concentrating the wastewater by pushing against each other at the contact points between the wire meshes. At the same time, they are cost-effective because they use a natural vacuum system. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0005] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 3433905 [Patent Document 2] Patent No. 7208618 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0006] Recently, there have been efforts to expand the uses of pulp, and it is hoped that special pulps, such as cellulose fibers that are nano-level in thickness and micro-level in length, alkaline pulp, and non-wood pulp such as sugar cane, will be used as industrial materials. Considering ease of handling, however, it is desirable to be able to provide these pulps in sheet form after concentration and dehydration. In the above Patent Documents 1 and 2, the concentrated and dehydrated pulp fibers attached to the dewatering drum are scratched and peeled off by a doctor to form a sheet, so if the above special pulp can also be processed, it can be provided in sheet form. However, these special pulps have poorer drainage properties than the waste paper pulp and virgin pulp that have traditionally been processed in the paper industry. Therefore, even if they are fed into these concentrating and dehydrating machines, they do not go into the dehydrating drum but instead go around to the overflow outlet and are collected as is, making it difficult to concentrate and dehydrate them into a sheet form.

[0007] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems in the conventional technology, and has an object to provide a new and useful concentrating and dehydrating machine which is capable of obtaining a high concentrating and dehydrating effect even for pulp with poor drainage properties as described above, by further evolving the basic configuration of the concentrating and dehydrating machines described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 while retaining the basic configuration as it is. [Means for solving the problem]

[0008] The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and is a concentration dehydrator comprising a raw material storage tank for storing slurry-like pulp fibers as a raw material, a pair of dehydration drums arranged in parallel within the raw material storage tank and compressing raw material that arrives between them by periodic elastic contact and counter-rotation, while sending it upward, a raw material supply port arranged in the raw material storage tank and communicating with the underside of the dehydration drums, a drainage port arranged in the raw material storage tank and communicating with the inside of the dehydration drums, rubber-like closing members protruding like sheet flaps with the same height position from the inner surface of the raw material storage tank toward the outer circumferential surfaces of each of the pair of dehydration drums, and whose tips contact the outer circumferential surfaces over their entire length, thereby closing the gap between the inner surface of the raw material storage tank and the outer circumferential surfaces of the dehydration drums and separating them from each other, and a raw material supply amount adjustment means for adjusting the amount of raw material supplied from the raw material supply port, and the raw material supply amount adjustment means adjusts the amount of raw material supplied depending on the contact state of the raw material with the rubber-like closing members.

[0009] Preferably, the tip of the rubber closing member on the protruding end side is curved in a hook shape. Preferably, the rubber closing member is attached by placing its base end on a mounting plate fixed to the inner surface of the raw material storage vessel and pressing it down from above with a pressing plate. Preferably, a screw hole is formed in the mounting plate, a through hole is formed in the pressure plate, and a through hole is formed in the rubber closing member, and the rubber closing member is attached by passing a screw from above through the through hole of the pressure plate and the through hole of the rubber closing member and screwing it into the screw hole of the mounting plate, and the through hole of the rubber closing member is an elongated hole that is long in the protruding direction. Preferably, a pressure sensor is provided to detect the pressure below the area closed by the rubber closing member, and the raw material supply amount adjustment means adjusts the amount of raw material supplied from the raw material supply port so that the pressure is constant based on the detection data from the pressure sensor. Preferably, a waterproof connection means is provided for rotatably and waterproofly connecting both end faces of each of the pair of dehydration drums to the inner surface of the raw material storage tank. Effect of the Invention

[0010] The concentrating and dehydrating machine of the present invention is an evolved version of the concentrating and dehydrating machines described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 while retaining the basic configuration thereof, and is capable of achieving a high dehydration and concentration effect even for pulp with poor drainage properties. [0012] A concentration dehydrator 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1, reference numeral 2 denotes a base, and a fixed stand 3 is fixed to the right side of the base 2. A fixed bracket 4 is provided below the fixed stand 3 and protrudes to the left. A tilting table 5 is provided on the left side of the base 2. A tilting bracket 6 is provided on the right end of the underside of the tilting table 5. The tilting bracket 6 is connected to the fixed bracket 4 via a support shaft 7, and the tilting table 5 can tilt with the support shaft 7 as a fulcrum. In addition, an air spring 8 is provided on the base 2, and the left end of the underside of the tilting table 5 is supported by this air spring 8, and the air spring 8 expands and contracts due to pressure and pressure increase, causing it to tilt. A locking piece 9 that protrudes to the left side is attached to the tilt table 5. In addition, a stopper bracket 10 is provided at the left end of the base 2, and a rod-shaped pressure limit stopper 11 is attached to this stopper bracket 10 and screwed into a screw hole that penetrates vertically. When the lower end face of this pressure limit stopper 11 abuts against the locking piece 9, further pressure is restricted, and the tilt table 5 tilts with this as the upper limit.

[0013] Reference numeral 12 denotes a raw material storage tank, which is composed of a fixed tank 13, a tilting tank 14, and an expandable section 15 connecting the fixed tank 13 and the tilting tank 14. The fixed tank 13 is supported by the fixed base 3, and the tilting tank 14 is supported by the tilting base 5. As shown in Fig. 2, two dehydration drums 16, 16 are placed side by side in a nearly horizontal position in the raw material storage tank 12. One of the dehydration drums 16 is stored in the fixed tank 13 of the raw material storage tank 12, and the other dehydration drum 16 is stored in the tilting tank 14. The dehydration drums 16, 16 are driven by a motor to rotate in opposite directions around their axes. As shown in FIG. 3, the dehydration drum 16 is made of punched metal and has many water holes 17. Two types of mesh wire nets (lower net) 18 and wire nets (upper net) 19 are stretched on the outside. The wire nets (upper net) 19 have finer mesh than the wire nets (lower net) 18, and the wire nets (upper net) 19 on the fixed tank 13 side are finer than the wire nets on the tilting tank 14 side. In this embodiment, the wire nets (lower net) are 8 mesh, and the wire nets (upper net) on the tilting tank 14 side are 14 mesh and the wire nets on the fixed tank 13 side are 20 mesh. However, this setting is not fixed and may change in the future depending on the type of raw material and design changes of other parts of the concentration dehydrator 1. For example, the wire nets (upper net) may be made finer, such as 20 mesh on the tilting tank 14 side and 30 mesh on the fixed tank 13 side.

[0014] The openings of the dewatering drum 16 at both axial end faces are narrowed slightly by inner flanges, and an annular drum-side protruding portion 20 is provided along the edge of the inner flanges. On the other hand, a circular storage tank side protruding portion 21 protrudes from the inner surface on the raw material storage tank 12 side. The outer circumferential surface of this storage tank side protruding portion 21 is configured to have approximately the same outer diameter as the outer circumferential surface of the drum side protruding portion 20. The storage tank side convex rib portion 21 and the drum side convex rib portion 20 are butted against each other coaxially.

[0015] The symbol 22 indicates a waterproof flat belt in the shape of a strip, and the width of this flat belt 22 is set to be approximately the same as the sum of the axial length dimensions of the storage tank side convex strip portion 21 and the drum side convex strip portion 20 and the dimension of the gap between them. One end of flat belt 22 in the length direction is fixed to the raw material storage tank 12 side, and the other end is pulled upward and fixed in a tensioned state, with flat belt 22 covering the outer peripheral surfaces of storage tank side protrusion 21 and drum side protrusion 20 in a tensioned state. Flat belt 22 goes almost all the way around, and this part is waterproofly connected to the inside of dehydration drum 16. Also, as shown in the top view of Figure 3, there are missing parts of flat belt 22, but since this part is always higher than the water level of the raw materials stored in raw material storage tank 12, it does not affect the waterproof connection. Also, it does not affect the rotation of dehydration drum 16. This waterproof connection makes water passage 17 the only flow path between the inside and outside of dehydration drum 16.

[0016] As shown in Figures 2 to 4, the inner surface of raw material storage tank 12 is provided with a closing mechanism 39, and as an important element thereof, rubber closing members 23 are arranged facing the outer peripheral surface of dehydration drum 16. This rubber-like closing member 23 is made of a rubber material (for example, butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer rubber (NBR)) and is configured in the form of a flat band sheet as shown in FIG. 5. One end of the rubber-like closing member 23 in the width direction is a free end 23a, which is pressed against the outer circumferential surface of dewatering drum 16 as described below, and is bent almost vertically, resulting in a hook shape when viewed in the length direction. That is, FIG. 5 shows the shape of the rubber-like closing member 23 when it is installed in raw material-accommodating tank 12. On the other hand, through holes 23b are formed near the other end in the width direction. These through holes 23b are oval holes that are long in the width direction. Five through holes 23b are formed at regular intervals in the length direction. The number of through holes 23b should be optimally set according to the actual diameter dimension of dehydration drum 16, and five is set based on the actual diameter dimension of dehydration drum 16 shown in the drawings. Therefore, if the diameter dimension changes, the number will also change. Through holes 23b are oval and one side in the major axis direction approaches free end 23a. The rubber closing member 23 is constructed symmetrically in the longitudinal direction with respect to the longitudinal center line, and is attached by using a metal mounting plate 24 and a pressing plate 26.

[0017] As shown in FIG. 5, the mounting plate 24 is configured in a strip shape, and its lengthwise dimension is approximately the same as that of the rubber closing member 23, but its widthwise dimension is larger than that of the rubber closing member 23. The screw holes 24a are formed near one end in the width direction. The screw holes 24a are arranged in two rows (25a, 25b) in the width direction, with five screw holes in each row being formed in the length direction at intervals substantially the same as those of the through holes 23b.

[0018] The pressing plate 26 is configured in a strip shape, and its lengthwise dimension is approximately the same as that of the rubber closing member 23, but its widthwise dimension is smaller than that of the rubber closing member 23. A through hole 26a is formed in the center in the width direction. Like through holes 23b, through holes 26a are elliptical holes that are long in the width direction. Five through holes 26a are formed in the length direction at intervals approximately the same as those of through holes 23b. When the pressure plate 26 is placed on the mounting plate 24 with both longitudinal ends aligned, the pressure plate 26 can be shifted in the width direction so that the through holes 26a, 26a, ... communicate with the screw holes 24a, 24a, ... of one of the screw hole rows 25.

[0019] A rubber-like closing member 23 is attached to both the fixed tank 13 side and the tilting tank 14 side in the same manner, and the fixed tank 13 side will be explained as a representative example. As shown in Fig. 4, the other widthwise edge of the mounting plate 24 is welded to the fixed tank 13 in a position where it abuts against the inner surface of the fixed tank 13, and the rubber closing member 23 and the pressing plate 26 are placed on the mounting plate 24 with both lengthwise edges aligned so that one widthwise end of each faces the same direction, and the screw holes 24a, through holes 23b, and through holes 26a aligned in the lengthwise direction are connected to each other, and the screws 27 are screwed in from above to secure them in place. The rubber closing member 23 is fixed in place at a total of five places with the screws 27, and the base end side of the rubber closing member 23 is placed on the mounting plate 24 and is pressed flat from above by the pressing plate 26.

[0020] The through holes 23b and 26a are elongated holes that are long in the width direction, and the screw holes 24a of the mounting plate 24 are provided in two types in the width direction as screw rows 25a and 25b, so that it is possible to adjust the amount of protrusion of the rubber closing member 23 from the mounting plate 24 while ensuring a communication state that allows for screw fastening. The protruding portion, including the free end 23a, is the sheet flap-like portion 23c. Figure 4 shows the maximum and minimum protrusion amounts. When the screw hole row 25a is used, the maximum protrusion amount is achieved, and when the screw hole row 25b is used, the minimum protrusion amount is achieved. The mounting plate 24 is fixed to the fixed tank 13 at a position slightly lower than the axial center of the dehydration drum 16 so that its plate surface is horizontal, and since the rubber closure member 23 is attached as described above, the sheet flap-like portion 23c of the rubber closure member 23 is aligned at the same height toward the outer peripheral surface of the dehydration drum 16 along its entire length.

[0021] In enlarged view, free end 23a at the tip of the protruding end is composed of longitudinal edge 23x and two plate surfaces 23y, 23z that sandwich it, and since it bends inward (downward) due to the rotational direction of rotating drum 16, almost the entire surface of plate surface 23z on the outside is pressed against and makes surface contact with the outer circumferential surface of dehydrating drum 16. Furthermore, because of the repulsive force of the rubber, the surface contact portion adheres closely to the drum surface. Since the through hole 23b of the rubber closing member 23 is an elongated hole that is long in the protruding direction, by adjusting the degree of protrusion, the above-mentioned tight contact state can be reliably achieved over the entire length direction.

[0022] Since the dehydration drum 16 rotates around its axis in the direction indicated by the arrow, the rotation urges the plate surface 23z in a direction that maintains the contact. Structurally, there is a risk that the sheet flap-like portion 23c of the rubber-like blocking member 23 may stand upside down from the edge of the pressing plate 26, but the urging described above prevents this from happening, and the gap between the inner surface of the fixed tub 13 and the outer peripheral surface of the dehydration drum 16 is stably closed to separate them into upper and lower portions.

[0023] The tilting tub 14 is constructed in the same manner, and a rubber closing member 23 closes the gap between the inner surface of the tilting tub 14 and the outer circumferential surface of the dewatering drum 16, dividing the tub into upper and lower sections. The height position of this partition is the same as that of the fixed tub 13. However, as shown in Fig. 6, it is different in that it is equipped with a pressure sensor 28. As an example, the pressure sensor 28 used is the GP-M series environmentally resistant digital pressure sensor made by Keyence Corporation. This type is provided with a threaded portion that is screwed in and fixed. In addition to the threaded hole 24a, a single threaded hole 24b is formed in the mounting plate 24 toward one end in the length direction. This type not only exhibits sufficient sensing capability, but also has the advantage of being removable, making cleaning easy. The pressure sensor 28 has a pressure receiving surface formed on the inside of the threaded portion, and detects the pressure on the lower side that is partitioned and closed by the rubber closing member 23 when screwed in.

[0024] The raw material storage tank 12 has a portion surrounded by a circular ring by a waterproof connection with the dehydration drum 16, and the lower portion of the circular ring is cut out in a rectangular shape to form a drain outlet 29 communicating with the outside. As shown in Fig. 1, the raw material storage tank 12 is provided with a raw material supply port 30 communicating with the outside at a position below the dehydration drum 16. A raw material discharge port 33 is provided at the upper side of the dehydration drum 16 on the fixed tank 13 side via a doctor 31 and a scraping conveyor 32, and a raw material overflow port 34 is provided at the side of the dehydration drum 16 on the tilting tank 14 side. Raw materials overflowing from the raw material overflow port 34 are circulated to the raw material storage tank 12. This overflow port 34 is provided at approximately the same height as the rubber closing member 23, and does not function when the rubber closing member 23 is attached. A shower 35 is also provided to supply water when necessary.

[0025] As shown in Fig. 7, the raw material supply port 30 is connected to a raw material supply tank 36 through a pipe, and a pump 37 is inserted in the pipe. A controller 38 is composed of a storage medium such as a memory, a CPU, a microcomputer equipped with an input / output unit, and the like, and a target pressure is set. Based on the detection data from the pressure sensor 28, the rotation speed of the drive motor is controlled by inverter control, and the suction force of the pump 37 is adjusted so that the target pressure is maintained. The raw material supply amount adjustment means is configured in this manner, and the amount of raw material supplied from raw material supply port 30 to raw material storage tank 12 is adjusted so that the pressure below covered by rubber closing member 23 remains constant.

[0026] The concentrating and dehydrating machine 1 is configured as described above, and the operation of the concentrating and dehydrating machine 1 from when the raw material is supplied to when it is discharged will be described with reference to FIG. The dehydrating drum 16 on the fixed vat 13 side rotates clockwise around its axis, and the dehydrating drum 16 on the tilting vat 14 side rotates counterclockwise around its axis and is repeatedly tilted between the state shown by the dotted line and the state shown by the solid line in Figure 1. As a result, the dehydrating drum 16 on the fixed vat 13 side is periodically pressed against the dehydrating drum 16 on the tilting vat 14 side, compressing anything caught between them.

[0027] During operation of the concentrating and dehydrating machine 1, raw material M is continuously supplied from raw material supply port 30 of raw material storage tank 12 and comes into contact with the underside of sheet flap-like portion 23c of rubber closing member 23. Furthermore, free end 23a of rubber closing member 23 remains stably closed without standing up even when dehydrating drum 16 rotates, so that a constant internal pressure caused by the raw material supply is maintained on the underside thereof.

[0028] The height position of the rubber closing member 23 is set to the same height position as the existing overflow port 34, so that under this condition, when the above-mentioned operation is performed, dehydration through the water passage hole 17 and elastic compression between the dehydration drums 16, 16 are performed in chronological order, and the moisture W in the raw material M moving toward the dehydration drum 16 by natural vacuum flows into the inside of the dehydration drum 16 through the water passage hole 17 of the dehydration drum 16 and is discharged from the drainage port 29. The fiber content F that cannot enter the inside of the dehydration drum 16 adheres to and accumulates on the wire meshes 18, 19. This fiber content F is carried to the point where the dehydration drums 16, 16 make elastic contact with each other, where it is compressed, and is dehydrated to a high concentration in one go. The dewatered fiber F then transfers onto the dewatering drum 16, which is fitted with fine wire meshes 18, 19 on the side of the fixed tank 13, and adheres to the dewatering drum 16 in the form of a single plate. When the drum 16 rotates by about 120 degrees, it is scraped off by the doctor 31, and is then crushed into small pieces by the scraping conveyor 32 and transported to the next process. Alternatively, the pieces are not crushed by the scraping conveyor 32, but are taken out as they are in the form of a plate and cut by an online cutter. The pieces are then piled up on pallets. These wet sheets are then available for sale. The water W that is released during dehydration by compression is also drained from the drain outlet 29.

[0029] Even if the raw material M is a slurry of cellulose fibers with nano-level thickness and micro-level length, or pulp fibers with poor drainage properties such as alkaline pulp, it is forcibly directed to the dewatering drum 16. Therefore, it is concentrated and dewatered in the same way as existing paper pulp. The higher the internal pressure, the faster the processing speed. However, if the internal pressure is too high, the raw material M will be blown out from between the dehydration drums 16, 16. Therefore, an internal pressure value that should be maintained constant is set according to the type of raw material M, and the internal pressure is controlled based on detection data from a pressure sensor 28 so as to maintain that internal pressure. This allows the processing speed to be increased to the maximum extent possible, making it possible to carry out continuous and rapid concentration and dehydration processing.

[0030] Furthermore, since the sheet flap-like portion 23c of the rubber-like closure member 23 is not in inseparable contact with the dehydration drum 16 or the inner surface of the tank, if the internal pressure increases, the raw material M may seep out, especially from between the sheet flap-like portion 23c and the inner surface of the tank. However, in the present invention, it is sufficient to ensure the above-mentioned concentrated dehydration, and the precision required for the closing function of the rubber-like closure member 23 is sufficient. Moreover, if the rubber-like closing member 23 is removed, the overflow port 34 is connected, so that the amount of raw material supplied can be adjusted so that the water level is constant, and the device can be used as a conventional type of concentration dehydrator.

[0031] Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described in detail above, the specific configuration is not limited to this embodiment, and the invention also includes design changes within the scope of the present invention without departing from the gist of the present invention. For example, when the raw material supply to the concentration dehydrator 1 is adjusted manually without using the pressure sensor 28, it is also possible to visually monitor the contact state of the raw material M with the rubber-like closure member 23 to determine the state in which the raw material M is seeping out, and adjust the pump 37 accordingly.
