Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a viscous skin cosmetic preparation suitable for moisturizing the skin of the face, body, etc. [Background technology]

[0002] Skin cosmetics containing moisturizers and oils are used to prevent the skin from drying out. When applying skin cosmetics to the skin, it is preferable that the skin cosmetics have viscosity because they are less likely to drip. Acrylic acid-based thickening polymers are used to impart viscosity to skin cosmetics. Viscous skin cosmetics using acrylic acid-based thickening polymers are not only less likely to drip when applied, but also have a feeling of crumbling as the viscosity gradually decreases during application, which is preferable because of their refreshing feel when used. However, when the salt concentration in the cosmetic is high, the acrylic acid-based thickening polymer may not be able to exhibit a sufficient thickening effect. Patent Document 1 discloses that salt resistance can be improved by blending cellulose fiber in addition to the acrylic acid-based thickening polymer. However, there are cases where the feeling of crumbling during application is insufficient. In addition, cosmetics containing acrylic acid-based thickening polymers may lose viscosity at high temperatures, resulting in poor storage stability. Patent Document 2 discloses an aqueous cosmetic that is excellent in storage stability at high temperatures by blending agar, xanthan gum, and an acrylic acid-based thickening polymer. However, if the salt concentration in the cosmetic is high, it may not be possible to achieve a sufficient thickening effect.

[0003] The water generally used in skin cosmetics is ion-exchanged water, which is made by removing impurities such as metal ions using ion-exchange resins, from tap water that has been collected from rivers and other sources and purified. The components removed by ion-exchange resins may include mineral salts such as calcium ions and magnesium ions that, together with amino acids and organic acids, constitute natural moisturizing factors (NMFs). NMFs play an important role in maintaining healthy skin, and it is known that a decrease in the amount of NMF in the stratum corneum reduces the skin's moisturizing function and makes the skin more susceptible to dryness. It is widely known that mineral salts, which are components of NMFs such as calcium ions and magnesium ions, are effective in moisturizing the skin. However, when mineral salts (especially divalent or higher mineral salts) are blended into an aqueous skin cosmetic, their chelating action may cause substances dissolved in water to bind together, resulting in the formation of water-insoluble substances. Therefore, when natural water rich in mineral salts is used in a viscous skin cosmetic containing an acrylic acid-based thickening polymer, the mineral salts contained in the natural water may cause the formation of water-insoluble substances. The water-insoluble substances generated in the skin cosmetic not only deteriorate the appearance due to precipitation, etc., but may also reduce the viscosity, thereby reducing the resistance to dripping when applied. The decrease in viscosity is particularly noticeable when stored at high temperatures, and viscous skin cosmetic stored at high temperatures may reduce the resistance to dripping when applied even when returned to room temperature.

[0004] On the other hand, cosmetics may be stored at various temperatures, ranging from low to high, depending on whether or not the indoor temperature is regulated in cold or tropical regions, and from the viewpoint of providing cosmetics of consistent quality, it is preferable that there is little difference in the feel when used, regardless of the storage temperature. However, a viscous skin cosmetic that contains natural water, does not drip easily when applied, has excellent storage stability at high temperatures, and exhibits little change in feel when used due to temperature changes has not yet been developed. [0005] [Patent Document 1] Patent Publication No. 2021-75471 [Patent Document 2] International Publication No. 2016 / 143663 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0006] Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a viscous skin cosmetic that contains natural water, is resistant to dripping and crumbling when applied, has excellent storage stability at high temperatures, and exhibits little change in feel when used (feel when using the cosmetic, comfort when used) due to temperature changes. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] As a result of intensive research to solve the above problems, the present inventors have unexpectedly discovered that in a skin cosmetic preparation containing natural water having a specific hardness and an acrylic acid-based thickening polymer, by simply adding a dihydric alcohol having 3 to 6 carbon atoms and a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester or an alkyl polyglucoside, the preparation is less likely to drip when applied and has a feeling of crumbling, has improved storage stability at high temperatures, and reduces the difference in feel when used due to temperature changes. After further research, the present inventors have completed the present invention.

[0008] That is, the present invention relates to the following. [1] A viscous skin cosmetic preparation containing 10% by mass to 98% by mass of the following component (A), 0.05% by mass to 1.5% by mass of component (B), 0.5% by mass to 25% by mass of component (C), and 0.001% by mass to 1.6% by mass of component (D): (A) Natural water with a hardness of 10 mg / L to 200 mg / L; (B) an acrylic acid-based thickening polymer; (C) dihydric alcohols having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, and (D) Polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester or alkyl polyglucoside. [2] The viscous skin cosmetic preparation according to [1], further comprising 0.01% by mass to 1% by mass of a thickening polysaccharide (E). [3] The viscous skin cosmetic preparation according to [1] or [2], further comprising (F) 0.0001% by mass to 0.05% by mass of an acidic mucopolysaccharide. Effect of the Invention

[0009] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a viscous skin cosmetic which contains natural water, is resistant to dripping and has a feeling of crumbling when applied, has excellent storage stability at high temperatures, and shows little difference in feel when used due to temperature changes. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0010] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described. The present invention relates to a viscous skin cosmetic preparation containing specific amounts of (A) natural water having a hardness of 10 mg / L to 200 mg / L, (B) an acrylic acid-based thickening polymer, (C) a dihydric alcohol having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, and (D) a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester or an alkyl polyglucoside (hereinafter also referred to as the viscous skin cosmetic preparation of the present invention).

[0011] In the present invention, the term "viscous skin cosmetic" refers to a viscous cosmetic that is applied directly or indirectly to the skin by spreading or spraying, i.e., a thick cosmetic. Specific examples of viscous skin cosmetic include basic cosmetics such as serums, gels, milky lotions, and creams, base cosmetics such as base gels and base creams, finishing (make-up) cosmetics such as foundations, fragrant cosmetics such as perfumes, anti-wrinkle cosmetics, and medicated cosmetics (quasi-drugs) such as whitening cosmetics. Among these, basic cosmetics and medicated cosmetics for keeping the skin clean and healthy are preferred as viscous skin cosmetic. In this specification, a numerical range defined using the symbol "~" is intended to include both the upper and lower limits of the range. For example, "2~5" means 2 or more and 5 or less.

[0012] <Component (A): Natural water with hardness of 10mg / L to 200mg / L> In the viscous skin cosmetic of the present invention, the natural water contained as component (A) is natural water having a hardness of 10 mg / L to 200 mg / L calculated from the concentrations of calcium salts and magnesium salts contained therein.

[0013] The natural water is not particularly limited as long as it has a hardness within the above range, and examples thereof include shallow well water, deep well water, spring water, mineral water, hot spring water, underground water, mineral water, etc., which are listed in the "Major Types of Raw Water" in the Notice of the Director-General of the Food Distribution Bureau No. 2 Food Distribution No. 1071 dated March 30, 1990. Any one of these natural waters may be used alone, or two or more types may be selected and used in combination. Furthermore, these natural waters may be used as they are after collection, or may be used after collection and subsequent filtration sterilization, heat sterilization, ozone sterilization, ultraviolet sterilization, etc.

[0014] In the present invention, the hardness of natural water is the calcium and magnesium content converted into the amount of calcium carbonate (CaCO3), expressed in [mg / L], and can be calculated using the following simplified formula (1) (atomic weights are Ca=40, Mg=24.3, and molecular weight is CaCO3=100).

[0015]

number

[0016] The natural water contained as component (A) in the viscous skin cosmetic of the present invention has a hardness calculated using the above formula (1) of 10 mg / L to 200 mg / L, preferably 15 mg / L to 150 mg / L, and more preferably 20 mg / L to 100 mg / L. If the hardness is less than 10 mg / L, the feeling of crumbling when applied may be insufficient, or the feeling of use may vary greatly depending on temperature changes, whereas if the hardness is more than 200 mg / L, the resistance to dripping when applied may be insufficient, or the storage stability may decrease when stored at high temperatures.

[0017] In the present invention, natural water having the above-mentioned hardness may be collected as component (A) and used as is or after collection, it may be subjected to filtration sterilization, heat sterilization, ozone sterilization, ultraviolet sterilization, etc., and commercially available products provided by various companies for use in cosmetics which are natural water having the above-mentioned hardness may also be used.

If the content of component (A) is less than 10% by mass, the feeling of crumbling when applied may be insufficient, or the difference in the feeling of use due to temperature changes may be large. On the other hand, if the content of component (A) is more than 98% by mass, the resistance to dripping when applied may be insufficient.

[0019] <Component (B): Acrylic acid-based thickening polymer> The viscous skin cosmetic of the present invention contains an acrylic acid-based thickening polymer as component (B). Here, the "acrylic acid-based thickening polymer" is a polymer that has structural units derived from acrylic acid and / or structural units derived from alkyl acrylate and has thickening properties.

[0020] Examples of acrylic acid-based thickening polymers include carboxyvinyl polymers, alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymers, and starch-sodium acrylate graft polymers. Here, the term "carboxyvinyl polymer" refers to a polymer having acrylic acid as the main chain, crosslinked with sucrose allyl ether, pentaerythritol allyl ether, or propylene allyl ether. The term "alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer" refers to a copolymer of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid and alkyl acrylate, crosslinked with sucrose allyl ether, pentaerythritol allyl ether, or propylene allyl ether. The term "starch-sodium acrylate graft polymer" refers to starch that has been graft-polymerized with acrylic acid and a small amount of methylenebisacrylamide, and then partially neutralized with sodium hydroxide. If the content of component (B) is less than 0.05% by mass, the resistance to dripping or the feeling of crumbling when applied may be insufficient, storage stability at high temperatures may decrease, or the difference in the feeling of use due to temperature changes may be large. On the other hand, if the content of component (B) is more than 2% by mass, the feeling of crumbling when applied may be insufficient, or storage stability at high temperatures may decrease.

[0025] <Component (C): Dihydric alcohol with 3 to 6 carbon atoms> The dihydric alcohol having 3 to 6 carbon atoms contained as component (C) in the viscous skin cosmetic of the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it is an alcohol having 3 to 6 carbon atoms and having two hydroxyl groups in the molecule and can be used on the skin as a cosmetic component, but examples thereof include 1,2-propanediol (propylene glycol), 1,3-propanediol, 1,2-butanediol, 1,3-butanediol (1,3-butylene glycol), 1,4-butanediol, 2,3-butanediol, 1,2-pentanediol (pentylene glycol), 1,5-pentanediol, 1,2-hexanediol, dipropylene glycol, etc. For the purpose of the present invention, 1,3-propanediol, 1,3-butanediol and 1,2-pentanediol are preferably used, and 1,3-propanediol and 1,3-butanediol are more preferably used. [0029] The content of component (D) relative to the total amount of the viscous skin cosmetic of the present invention is 0.001 to 1.6% by mass, preferably 0.005 to 1.4% by mass, and more preferably 0.01 to 1.2% by mass. If the content of component (D) is less than 0.001% by mass, the resistance to dripping when applied may be insufficient, storage stability at high temperatures may decrease, or the difference in feel when used due to temperature changes may be significant. On the other hand, if the content of component (D) is more than 1.6% by mass, the feeling of crumbling when applied may be insufficient.

[0030] <Content ratio of components (A) and (C)> In the viscous skin cosmetic of the present invention, from the viewpoints of improving the feeling of crumbling upon application and minimizing the difference in feeling upon use due to temperature changes, the ratio of the content of component (A) to the content of component (C) [(A) / (C)] is preferably 4 to 18 by mass, more preferably 5 to 15, and even more preferably 6 to 12.

[0059] [Table 1]

[0060] [Table 2]

[0061] [Table 3]

[0062] As shown in Tables 1 and 2, all of the viscous skin cosmetics of Examples 1 to 21 were evaluated as viscous skin cosmetics having excellent or very excellent resistance to dripping and crumbling upon application, good storage stability at high temperatures, and little or very little change in the feel when used due to temperature changes. In particular, the viscous skin cosmetic preparations of Examples 5, 7, and 10, which contain components (A) to (D) in the more preferred amounts described above and in which the (A) / (C) value is within the even more preferred range described above, and the viscous skin cosmetic preparation of Example 21, which contains, in addition to components (A) to (D), gellan gum as component (E) and acid mucopolysaccharide 2 as component (F), were all rated as "Excellent" in terms of resistance to dripping and crumbling upon application, storage stability at high temperatures, and difference in feel when used due to temperature change.

[0063] In contrast, as shown in Table 3, none of the viscous skin cosmetics of Comparative Examples 1 to 5 were judged to be pass in any of the evaluation items. That is, the viscous skin cosmetic preparation of Comparative Example 1, which did not contain component (A), was evaluated as being slightly inferior in terms of the feeling of crumbling upon application, and as showing a slightly large difference in the feeling of use due to temperature changes. The viscous skin cosmetic preparation of Comparative Example 2, which contained gellan gum as component (E) instead of component (B), was evaluated as being slightly inferior in resistance to dripping and crumbling upon application. The viscous skin cosmetic of Comparative Example 3, which did not contain component (C), was evaluated as being slightly inferior in terms of the feeling of crumbling upon application, having poor storage stability at high temperatures, and showing a slightly large difference in the feeling of use due to temperature changes. The viscous skin cosmetics of Comparative Examples 4 and 5, which did not contain component (D), were evaluated as being slightly inferior in resistance to dripping when applied, having poor storage stability at high temperatures, and showing a slightly large difference in feel when used due to temperature changes.

[0064] Next, other examples of the viscous skin cosmetic of the present invention will be described.

[0065] [Example 22] Gel-type skin cosmetic Based on the formulation shown in Table 4, a gel-type skin cosmetic was produced as follows. Note that the natural water 3 and acid mucopolysaccharide 1 in Table 4 were the same raw materials as those used in the production of Examples 1 to 21, and the other raw materials were products commercially available for use in cosmetics. The content of acid mucopolysaccharide 1 in Table 4 indicates the net content of sodium hyaluronate.

[0066] <Manufacturing method> Components (D), (F), and other additive components (1) to (12) were added to component (A), mixed, and heated with stirring to make uniform. Next, a preliminary dispersion of components (B), (C), and (E) was added and mixed, and cooled with stirring. The remainder of the ion-exchanged water was then added to make the total amount 100% by mass.

[0067] [Table 4]

[0068] [Example 23] Milky skin cosmetic Based on the formulation shown in Table 5, milky skin cosmetics were produced as follows. Note that the natural water 3 and acid mucopolysaccharide 1 in Table 5 were the same raw materials as those used in the production of the above Examples 1 to 21. The content of acid mucopolysaccharide 1 in Table 5 indicates the net content of sodium hyaluronate.

[0069] <Manufacturing method> Components (A), (F), other additive components (1), (2), (11) to (17), and the remainder of the ion-exchanged water were mixed, dissolved, and heated to 75°C to 80°C to form an aqueous phase. Meanwhile, component (D) and other additive components (3) to (9) were mixed, heated to 75°C to 80°C, and homogenized to form an oil phase. The oil phase was added to the aqueous phase with stirring to emulsify, and a preliminary dispersion of components (B), (C), and (E) was added and mixed, and the mixture was cooled to 40°C with stirring, and the other additive components (10) and (18) were added in order and mixed.

[0070] [Table 5]

[0071] The gel-type skin cosmetic preparation of Example 22 and the milky skin cosmetic preparation of Example 23 both had little dripping and a feeling of crumbling when applied, had excellent storage stability at high temperatures, and showed little difference in the feel when used due to temperature changes. [Industrial Applicability]

[0072] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a viscous skin cosmetic which contains natural water, is resistant to dripping and has a feeling of crumbling when applied, has excellent storage stability at high temperatures, and shows little difference in feeling when used due to temperature changes.
