Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a hair treatment agent and use thereof, and more particularly to a hair treatment agent which effectively manages frizzy hair, leaves hair feeling moisturized and calm, and improves hair quality, and to the use of a hair treatment agent which can be used as an after-bath treatment agent. [Background technology]
[0002] 2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, hair treatments using treatment agents such as hair coloring agents, bleaching agents, permanent wave agents, hair straightening agents, and treatment agents have become common.
[0003] However, these treatments contain various ingredients such as alkaline agents, oxidizing agents, and reducing agents, and hair that has been treated may be subject to some degree of chemical damage.
[0004] When hair is chemically damaged, it loses its luster, firmness, moisture, smoothness, softness, etc., making daily care difficult. Depending on the extent of the damage, the hair may no longer look visually beautiful.
[0005] Even if hair treatment is performed to obtain the desired effect, even if the hair is damaged, the desired effect is not necessarily obtained. The degree of effect of hair treatment varies depending on the hair type and condition of the subject, and the duration of the effect also varies.
[0006] In order to reduce individual differences in the degree of effect and duration of the effect, the person performing the treatment may fine-tune the hair treatment method for each person being treated, but it has been difficult to simultaneously prevent and repair damage to the hair and achieve the full effect of the hair treatment using the above-mentioned treatment agent. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0017] Preferred embodiments of the present invention will now be described.
[0018] The hair treatment agent of the present invention contains a betaine-based amphoteric surfactant, an amino acid-based amphoteric surfactant, and a dilauroyl glutamic acid lysine salt. In this specification, the hair treatment agent includes a hair repair agent. In the following description, unless otherwise specified, a hair treatment agent containing a hair repair agent will be referred to as a hair treatment agent.
[0019] Examples of betaine-based amphoteric surfactants include lauric acid amidopropyl betaine (lauramidopropyl betaine), lauryl dimethylaminoacetic acid betaine (lauryl betaine), coconut oil alkyl betaine (coco betaine), isostearamidopropyl betaine, and coconut oil fatty acid amidopropyl betaine (cocamidopropyl betaine), of which lauramidopropyl betaine is preferred.
[0020] Examples of the amino acid-based amphoteric surfactant include β-laurylaminopropionate (e.g., sodium salt), lauraminopropionate (e.g., sodium salt), laurylaminodipropionate (e.g., sodium salt), and lauriminodipropionate (e.g., sodium salt), and preferably sodium lauraminopropionate. Commercially available products include "Taipol Soft LAP-10" and "Taipol Soft LDP-30" manufactured by Taiko Yushi Kagaku Kogyo Co., Ltd., and these can be obtained and used.
[0021] Examples of the dilauroyl glutamic acid lysine salt include sodium dilauroyl glutamic acid lysine and potassium dilauroyl glutamic acid lysine. Commercially available products include "Pellicer LB-10" manufactured by Asahi Kasei Corporation, and these can be obtained and used.
[0022] The hair treatment composition of the present invention is characterized in that a betaine-based amphoteric surfactant, an amino acid-based amphoteric surfactant, and a dilauroyl glutamic acid lysine salt are mixed together and used as one liquid in a treatment container.
[0023] In the present invention, the treatment agent contains dilauroyl glutamic acid lysine salt (trade name "Pellicer"), but the compatibility problem between this Pellicer and surfactants has been pointed out. According to the Asahi Kasei Corporation website, when a cationic surfactant is used, the compatibility of Pellicer with cations is poor, so it is necessary to strictly adjust the solid concentration of Pellicer. It is not easy and complicated to precisely determine the amount of Pellicer added at the beauty salon. In this respect, the present invention uses a combination of two amphoteric surfactants and does not actively use a cationic surfactant, so the above-mentioned complication does not occur. In this embodiment, a cationic surfactant may be included as long as it does not impair the effects of the present invention.
[0024] Furthermore, by combining two types of amphoteric surfactants and mixing them with Pellicer to form one liquid, as described in the above section on the effects of the invention (as exemplified by the examples below), the following excellent effects are achieved: (1) when used in a beauty salon, frizzy hair is tamed better than usual, the hair is moisturized and calm, and the hair feels cleaner, and improvement is seen in the hair immediately after the treatment; (2) the condition of frizzy hair is improved, hair quality is improved, frizz is reduced, frizz on rainy days is reduced, shine is improved, firmness at the crown of the head is improved, the feel is improved, and breakage is made less noticeable; and (3) in beauty treatments, the color of the hair becomes more vivid, the condition of straight hair ends is improved, breakage is less noticeable in people with thin hair, the color does not fade easily, and the good shine makes the color look darker.
[0025] The mixing ratio of the above compounds in one solution is preferably, for example, 10 to 80 parts by weight of the betaine-based amphoteric surfactant, 10 to 80 parts by weight of the amino acid-based amphoteric surfactant, and 1 to 50 parts by weight of the dilauroyl glutamic acid lysine salt, when the total weight is 100 parts by weight.
[0026] Compounds that can be mixed with the hair treatment composition of the present invention other than the above three components include hydrolyzed proteins such as hydrolyzed keratin and hydrolyzed collagen.
[0027] The hydrolyzed keratin is not particularly limited, but examples thereof include wool-derived hydrolyzed keratin, feather-derived hydrolyzed keratin, hydroxypropyl hydrolyzed keratin, hydroxypropyltrimonium hydrolyzed keratin, etc., and one of these may be used alone, or a mixture of multiple keratins may be used. From the viewpoint of further enhancing the effects of the present invention, it is preferable to use a mixture of multiple keratins.
[0028] When a plurality of keratins are mixed, it is preferable that the weight-average molecular weights of the respective keratins are different. When six or more types of keratins having different weight-average molecular weights are mixed, the effect of the present invention can be further enhanced.
[0029] The hydrolyzed collagen is not particularly limited, but examples thereof include hydrolyzed collagen, isostearoyl hydrolyzed collagen AMPD, and the like.
[0030] Regarding the collagen, one type of collagen may be used alone, or multiple collagens may be mixed and used; however, from the viewpoint of further enhancing the effects of the present invention, it is preferable to use multiple collagens as a mixture.
[0031] When multiple collagens are mixed, it is preferable that the weight-average molecular weights of the collagens are different. By mixing two or more types of collagens having different weight-average molecular weights, the effects of the present invention can be further enhanced.
[0032] The hair treatment agent of the present invention may contain low molecular weight keratin and medium molecular weight keratin within a range that does not impair the effects of the present invention. The low molecular weight keratin is preferably keratin having a weight average molecular weight of 300 to 500, and the medium molecular weight keratin is preferably keratin having a weight average molecular weight of 3000 to 5000.
[0033] The hair treatment agent of the present invention may contain silicone oil. Silicone oil is preferable from the viewpoints of being chemically and physiologically inactive, having excellent water repellency, water resistance, and lubricity, being non-sticky, and giving a refreshing feeling when treating hair. As the silicone oil, for example, dimethicone and cyclopentasiloxane are preferably contained. As the silicone oil, aminoethylaminopropylmethylsiloxane-dimethylsiloxane copolymer, aminopropyl dimethicone, amodimethicone, octamethyltrisiloxane, caprylyl methicone, highly polymerized methylpolysiloxane (1), cyclohexasiloxane, cyclomethicone, diphenyldimethicone, diphenylsiloxyphenyltrimethicone, dimethylsiloxane-methylstearoxysiloxane copolymer, dimethyl / stearoxypolysiloxane, stearyl dimethicone, (stearoxymethicone), methylsiloxane-methylstearoxysiloxane copolymer, methylsiloxane-methylstearoxypolysiloxane ... Examples of such copolymers include methyl methacrylate / dimethicone copolymer, cetyl dimethicone, decamethylcyclopentasiloxane, dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane, trisiloxane, hydrogen dimethicone, bisaminopropyl dimethicone, biscetearyl amodimethicone, phenyl trimethicone, methicone, methyl trimethicone, methyl hydrogen polysiloxane, methyl phenyl polysiloxane, methyl polysiloxane, and the like. Instead of or in addition to dimethicone and cyclopentasiloxane, one or more of these may be contained.
[0034] The hair treatment composition of the present invention may contain a pH adjuster. The pH of the hair treatment composition is preferably about 6 to 11.
[0035] The hair treatment agent of the present invention may be mixed with at least one treatment agent selected from a coloring agent, a hair straightener, a perm agent, and a bleaching agent. Treatment agents such as coloring agents are alkaline. Although hair is damaged by treatment agents such as coloring agents, it is desirable to remove the alkaline state as soon as possible.
[0036] The action of the two amphoteric surfactants and dilauroyl glutamic acid lysine salt contained in the hair treatment agent of the present invention allows the hair to exert its own self-repairing ability through rapid penetration, and quickly escape from the alkaline state. Furthermore, it is presumed that the effect can be maintained for a longer period of time due to the strong bond formed.
[0037] Additionally, hair dyes contain hydrogen peroxide, which is necessary to dye hair. Hydrogen peroxide tends to remain on the hair and scalp, and if left untreated, it can cause unexpected damage. One of the damages is that if hydrogen peroxide is left in the hair, the bleaching effect progresses and coloring cannot be stopped at the desired color, so it is desirable to remove the hydrogen peroxide as soon as possible. It has been found that when the hair treatment composition of the present invention is used in combination with a coloring agent, it is possible to exert an excellent effect of coloring hair to a desired color without causing the bleaching action of hydrogen peroxide to progress. Furthermore, hydrogen peroxide is also used in hair straightening agents (straight perm agents), perm agents, and bleaching agents, and it has been found that when used in combination with the hair treatment agent of the present invention, it exhibits the excellent effect of preventing the bleaching action of hydrogen peroxide from progressing. That is, it was found that by using the hair treatment composition of the present invention, hydrogen peroxide used in coloring agents, hair straighteners, perms and bleaching agents is removed quickly without remaining in the hair.
[0038] The hair treatment composition of the present invention is also characterized in that it is used as an after-bath treatment composition.
[0039] When used as an out-bath treatment, the hair treatment agent of the present invention may contain the following substances within the range that does not impair the effects of the present invention. In addition to the above-mentioned substances in the hair treatment agent of the present invention, the hair treatment agent of the present invention may contain the following substances. Water, glycerin, pentylene glycol, polyacrylate-13, phytosteryl / octyldodecyl lauroyl glutamate, aspartic acid, dipotassium glycyrrhizinate, ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, yarrow extract, sage leaf extract, chamomile flower extract, althea officinalis root extract, thyme flower / leaf / stem extract, melissa leaf extract, ononis extract, horsetail extract, celery leaf extract, coltsfoot flower extract, urea, butylene glycol, caprylic / capric triglyceride, gamma-docosalactone, phenoxyethanol, cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone crosspolymer, dimethicone / vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer, polyisobutene, polysorbate 20, citric acid, sodium citrate.
[0040] In addition to the above substances, the hair treatment composition of the present invention may contain other ingredients such as moisturizing ingredients and plant-derived extracts, etc., as appropriate, provided the effects of the present invention are not impaired.
[0041] Preferred examples of the moisturizing component include betaine, urea, sodium pyrrolidone carboxylate, etc. The moisturizing component is not particularly limited, but it is preferable to contain a plurality of moisturizing components from the viewpoint of realizing effective moisturization.
[0042] Examples of plant-derived extracts include Centella asiatica extract, Japanese knotweed root extract, Scutellaria root extract, licorice root extract, tea leaf extract, chamomile flower extract, rosemary leaf extract, and soybean seed extract.
[0043] When used as an after-bath treatment, the pH is preferably adjusted to a weakly acidic to weakly alkaline treatment of 6 to 11. It is also preferable to adjust the pH to about 6 to 7.5 using a pH adjuster such as arginine. EXAMPLES

[0059] In addition, we measured the time it took for the hair of subjects G, H, and I to become neutral (pH 7) after color treatment. It took 40 minutes for G, 40 minutes for H, and 50 minutes for I. It was confirmed that early neutralization was achieved.
[0060] Example 2 The after-bath treatment obtained in Example 1 was used to carry out the following evaluations.
[0061] (evaluation) After shampooing the subjects' hair, they towel-dried it and then spread an appropriate amount of the obtained out-bath treatment over their entire hair (applied it) and evaluated how well it blended with their hair. After drying with a hair dryer, the feel to the touch was evaluated.
[0062] (result) Familiarity: It was confirmed that it blended in quickly. Feel: It was moist and very pleasant to the touch. It also had a soft, light finish.
[0063] Comparative Example 1 An after-bath treatment of Comparative Example 1 was prepared in the same manner as in the after-bath treatment obtained in Example 1, except that the amino acid-based amphoteric surfactant (sodium lauraminopropionate) was not used.
[0064] (evaluation) After shampooing the subjects' hair, they towel-dried it, and then spread an appropriate amount of the out-bath treatment of Comparative Example 1 over the entire hair (applied) and evaluated its compatibility. After drying with a hair dryer, the feel to the touch was evaluated.
[0065] (result) It felt a little unfamiliar. To the touch, the hair did not feel moisturized, was stiff, the ends felt catchy, and it felt like the treatment agent was still on the surface.
[0066] Comparative Example 2 An after-bath treatment of Comparative Example 2 was prepared in the same manner as in the after-bath treatment obtained in Example 1, except that the betaine-based amphoteric surfactant (lauramidopropyl betaine) was not used.
[0067] (evaluation) After shampooing the subjects' hair, they towel-dried it, and then spread an appropriate amount of the out-bath treatment of Comparative Example 2 on their hands and applied (spread) it all over their hair, and the familiarity was evaluated. After drying with a hair dryer, the feel to the touch was evaluated.
[0068] (result) The familiarity was as good as in Example 2. It didn't feel moisturizing to the touch, it felt like it caught on my hair, and it felt like the treatment agent was left on the surface. The finish was heavy.
[0069] Example 3 The pH of the hair treatment used in Example 1 was adjusted to 9.0, a weak alkali, and the color agent and the out-of-bath treatment were mixed in the beauty treatment to obtain a treatment. The out-of-bath treatment was mixed in such that the treatment was at 20% by weight.
[0070] (result) After application to the test subject's hair, the pH reached 8.0 after 30 minutes and 7.0 after 40 minutes. Rapid neutralization was achieved within 40 minutes. After shampooing only, without using any conditioner, the finish was evaluated and found to be the most pleasant to the touch, soft and lustrous.
[0071] Comparative Example 3 An after-bath treatment of Comparative Example 3 was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the amino acid-based amphoteric surfactant (sodium lauraminopropionate) was not used, and was evaluated in the same manner as in Example 3.
[0072] (result) When the subject's hair was shampooed only, it had a good shine. However, it had the worst feel (worse than Example 3 and Comparative Example 4). It was also a little stiff. After application to the subject's hair, the pH reached 8.0 30 minutes later and 7.0 40 minutes later.
[0073] Comparative Example 4 An out-of-pocket treatment agent of Comparative Example 4 was prepared in the same manner as the out-of-pocket treatment agent obtained in Example 1, except that the betaine-based amphoteric surfactant (lauramidopropyl betaine) was not used, and evaluated in the same manner as Example 3.
[0074] (result) When the subject's hair was shampooed only, it had a good shine. However, it had the second worst feel (worse than Example 3 but better than Comparative Example 3). It was also a little stiff. After application to the subject's hair, the pH reached 8.0 30 minutes later and 7.0 40 minutes later.
[0075] Example 4 In Example 3, a perm agent, a straight perm agent, and a bleach agent were used instead of the color agent, and the experiment was carried out in the same manner as in Example 3. The results were similar to those of Example 3. Moreover, in Comparative Examples 3 and 4, the same experiment was carried out using a perm agent, a straight perm agent, and a bleach agent instead of the color agent, and the same evaluation results were obtained as in Comparative Examples 3 and 4.
[0076] Example 5 The results of experiments which demonstrate that the hair treatment composition of the present invention, when used in combination with a hair coloring agent, exhibits excellent effects of being able to color hair to a desired color without promoting the bleaching action of hydrogen peroxide, are shown below.
[0077] <Experiment 1> (1) Four hair bundles were prepared, and a 6% solution of hydrogen peroxide was applied to the hair bundles and left for five minutes. (2) Next, rinse lightly so that a small amount of hydrogen peroxide remains. (3) Next, the hair treatment composition of the present invention consisting of the three ingredients used in Example 1 was applied to each of the three hair bundles, and then left to stand for 5 minutes and then rinsed off. (4) Four strands of hair were colored with lightener (the lightest color of the coloring agent), left for two hours, and then washed out. (Results of Experiment 1) One strand of hair that was not treated with the hair treatment composition of the present invention became lighter in color, confirming that the bleaching action of hydrogen peroxide was progressing. In contrast, it was confirmed that the three hair bundles to which the hair treatment agent of the present invention was applied were colored with the desired lightener and the color was fixed. This is presumably because the hydrogen peroxide had been removed and no longer remained, so the bleaching action did not proceed.
[0078] <Experiment 2> (1) Four hair bundles were prepared, and the hair treatment agent of the present invention consisting of the three ingredients used in Example 1 was applied to three of the hair bundles. After five minutes, a 6% hydrogen peroxide solution was applied to the four hair bundles and left for five minutes. (2) Rinse lightly so that a small amount of hydrogen peroxide remains. (3) Four strands of hair were colored with lightener, left for two hours, and then washed out. (Results of Experiment 2) One strand of hair that was not treated with the hair treatment composition of the present invention became lighter in color, confirming that the bleaching action of hydrogen peroxide was progressing. In contrast, it was confirmed that the three hair bundles to which the hair treatment agent of the present invention was applied were colored with the desired lightener and the color was fixed. This is presumably because the hydrogen peroxide had been removed and no longer remained, so the bleaching action did not proceed.
[0079] <Experiment 3> (1) Prepare four strands of hair. (2) Apply 6% hydrogen peroxide solution to four strands of hair and leave it for five minutes. (3) Rinse lightly so that the oxy remains. (4) The hair treatment composition of the present invention consisting of the three ingredients used in Example 1 is applied to three strands of hair, and after five minutes, lightener is applied without rinsing, and the hair is left for two hours. (Results of Experiment 3) One strand of hair that was not treated with the hair treatment composition of the present invention became lighter in color, confirming that the bleaching action of hydrogen peroxide was progressing. In contrast, it was confirmed that the three hair bundles to which the hair treatment agent of the present invention was applied were colored with the desired lightener and the color was fixed. This is presumably because the hydrogen peroxide had been removed and no longer remained, so the bleaching action did not proceed.
[0080] From the above Experiments 1 to 3, it was found that when the hair treatment composition of the present invention is used in combination with a coloring agent, it is possible to exert an excellent effect of coloring hair to a desired color without causing the bleaching action of hydrogen peroxide to progress. It is believed that such effects are similarly exhibited in perm agents, straightening perm agents, and bleach agents that use hydrogen peroxide. In other words, by using the hair treatment composition of the present invention, the hydrogen peroxide contained in the treatment composition does not remain, making it possible to prevent undesired changes in hair color.
