Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present disclosure relates to inner pad type absorbent articles.
Background Art
[0002] With the increase in the elderly population, the number of care recipients who cannot enter nursing facilities is increasing. For this reason, the number of cases where family members care for care recipients at home is increasing. In cases of excretory assistance, when the caregiver is not used to wearing disposable diapers, they often change the diapers, and leakage due to improper wearing and the accompanying increase in workload such as cleaning and washing have become social problems.
[0003] For bedridden care recipients, tape-type absorbent articles are used as the outer layer. When the care recipient can walk to some extent and toilet induction is possible, pant-type absorbent articles are used. From the perspective of economy and absorbency selectivity, it is common to use an inner pad in combination inside the absorbent article as the outer layer. The inner pad is selected according to the wearing time due to the replacement interval and the amount of excretion. A good example is to wear a small urine pad during the day and a large wide pad at night. It is important to use these inner pads in an appropriate position and state inside the absorbent article as the outer layer. In particular, leakage is likely to occur if the three-dimensional gathers cannot be firmly erected.
[0004] Patent Document 1 discloses a structure for preventing displacement of an absorbent inner article. This inner article is referred to as a pad having a crotch-corresponding area, a front-corresponding area, and a rear-corresponding area, and includes a liquid-permeable surface sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and a core encapsulated between these two sheets. On the back sheet facing the outer article, front and rear displacement prevention portions using hot melt adhesives are provided. The inner article can be attached to and detached from the inner surface of an outer article such as briefs or diapers by both displacement prevention portions.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0006] The inner article (inner pad type absorbent article) described in Patent Document 1 is to securely fix the inner pad type absorbent article to an outer article such as briefs or diapers and prevent the displacement prevention from peeling off due to turning up from the corners. However, it is difficult to keep the three-dimensional gathers in an upright state, and it does not reduce the work burden on caregivers.
[0007] Therefore, an object of the present disclosure is to provide an inner pad type absorbent article that can be easily worn by a caregiver who is not used to replacing the inner pad type absorbent article by appropriately standing up the three-dimensional gathers and can reduce the work burden on the caregiver.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0008] To solve the above problems, a first aspect of the present invention is an inner pad type absorbent article that can be disposed and used inside an outer type absorbent article, comprising a liquid-permeable topsheet on the skin side, a liquid-impermeable backsheet on the non-skin side, an absorber disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, left and right three-dimensional gathers disposed on both sides in the width direction of the skin side surface and extending in the longitudinal direction, and a displacement-preventing adhesive portion provided on the outer surface in the width direction of the left and right three-dimensional gathers in an upright state. The interval in the width direction between the roots when the left and right three-dimensional gathers are erected is 100 mm or more and 250 mm or less, the length from the root to the tip of the left and right three-dimensional gathers is 20 mm or more and 50 mm or less, the longitudinal length of the displacement-preventing adhesive portion is 20 mm or more and 45 mm or less, and the widthwise length of the displacement-preventing adhesive portion is 10 mm or more and 30 mm or less.
[0009] A second aspect of the present invention is the inner pad type absorbent article according to the first aspect, wherein the displacement-preventing adhesive portion is provided at the longitudinal center portion of the left and right three-dimensional gathers.
Advantages of the Invention
[0010] According to the present disclosure, it is possible to provide an inner pad type absorbent article that enables a caregiver who is not used to replacing the inner pad type absorbent article to easily stand up the three-dimensional gathers appropriately and wear it, thereby reducing the work burden on the caregiver.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0012] Hereinafter, a tape-fastened type absorbent article according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0013] In this specification, the wearing of the inner pad type absorbent article means the state in which the wearer wears an outer type absorbent article (such as a paper diaper) with the inner pad type absorbent article worn, regardless of before and after absorption of body fluids. The "longitudinal direction" of each component member of the inner pad type absorbent article means the longitudinal direction of the inner pad type absorbent article, which is the direction extending across the front and back of the wearer's body through the crotch of the wearer when the inner pad type absorbent article is worn, and is the direction along the arrow X in the figure. Also, the "width direction" of each component member of the inner pad type absorbent article means the direction intersecting (orthogonal) to the longitudinal direction, and is the direction along the arrow Y in the figure. Further, the "thickness direction" of each component member of the inner pad type absorbent article means the direction intersecting (orthogonal) to both the longitudinal direction and the width direction, and is the direction in which each component member is laminated, and is the direction along the arrow Z in the figure. Also, the "front side" means the direction on the ventral side of the wearer when the inner pad type absorbent article is worn, and the "rear side" means the direction on the dorsal side of the wearer. Also, the "left-right direction" means the left-right direction as viewed from the wearer in the state facing forward. Also, the "skin side" of each component member of the inner pad type absorbent article means the direction facing the wearer's skin among the thickness directions when the inner pad type absorbent article is worn, and the "non-skin side" means the direction opposite to the skin side among the thickness directions. Also, body fluids mean liquids discharged from the body to the outside, such as urine, blood, and moisture in soft stools.
[0014] <Inner pad type absorbent article> Hereinafter, this embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0015] FIG. 1 is a plan view from the skin side of an inner pad type absorbent article according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line II-II of FIG. 1. FIG. 3 is an explanatory view of the displacement-preventing adhesive portion, where (a) shows a state without a release sheet and (b) shows a state with a release sheet. FIG. 4 is a plan view from the skin side showing a state where the inner pad type absorbent article is disposed inside a tape-fastened type absorbent article. FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line V-V of FIG. 4. Note that FIGS. 2 and 5 are schematic cross-sectional views. Further, in FIG. 5, a state where the three-dimensional gathers are erected is illustrated. Also, each figure does not define the size relationship of the constituent members of the inner pad type absorbent article, and the dimensions of each constituent member can be appropriately selected from a wide range according to the use of the inner pad type absorbent article, the age of the wearer to be used, etc.
[0016] As shown in FIG. 1, the inner pad type absorbent article 10 of the present embodiment can be used as an inner pad inside an outer type absorbent article 100 (see FIGS. 4 and 5) such as a tape-fastened type absorbent article. Examples of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 include disposable urine pads, light incontinence pads, and the like. The inner pad type absorbent article 10 is placed on the sheet on the skin side (the top sheet 101 of the outer type absorbent article 100) of the outer type absorbent article 100 and is worn and used with respect to the outer type absorbent article 100. Note that the outer type absorbent article 100 is not limited to a tape-fastened type absorbent article and may be a pants type absorbent article.
[0017] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the inner pad type absorbent article 10 includes a liquid-permeable top sheet 11 on the skin side, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 12 on the non-skin side, an absorber 13 disposed between the top sheet 11 and the back sheet 12, three-dimensional gathers 14 on the left and right, and a displacement-preventing adhesive portion 15 provided on the three-dimensional gathers 14 on the left and right.
[0018] (Top Sheet) The topsheet 11 may be formed from a base material having liquid permeability such that body fluid moves to the absorber 13. As an example of the base material, for example, non-woven fabrics such as thermal bond non-woven fabrics, composite non-woven fabrics formed by laminating thermal bond non-woven fabrics / spunbond non-woven fabrics, apertured films such as apertured polyethylene films, polyethylene foams, foamed films such as urethane foams, or composite sheets formed by laminating these may be mentioned. The shape of the topsheet 11 is not particularly limited, but it may be in a shape that covers the absorber 13 in order to guide body fluid to the absorber 13 without leakage.
[0019] The topsheet 11 may be embossed or perforated on the surface in order to improve liquid permeability. As methods for performing these embossing and perforating processes, known methods can be implemented without limitation. Further, in order to reduce irritation to the skin, the topsheet 11 may contain lotion, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory component, pH adjuster, antibacterial agent, moisturizer, etc.
[0020] (Backsheet) The backsheet 12 may be formed using a base material having liquid impermeability so that there is no leakage of the body fluid held by the absorber 13 to the non-skin side, and is formed from materials such as resin films and composite sheets formed by laminating resin films and non-woven fabrics. The non-woven fabric used for the composite sheet is not particularly limited in the manufacturing method, and examples include composite non-woven fabrics formed by laminating a plurality of same-kind and / or different-kind non-woven fabrics such as spunbond non-woven fabrics, meltblown non-woven fabrics, spunbond non-woven fabrics / meltblown non-woven fabrics, spunbond non-woven fabrics / meltblown non-woven fabrics / spunbond non-woven fabrics, and these composite materials. Examples of the resin film include polyester, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene, polypropylene, composite films of polyethylene and polypropylene, etc.
[0021] In addition, it is preferable to make the backsheet 12 breathable in order to prevent stuffiness during wearing. In order to provide the backsheet 12 with breathability, for example, a filler may be blended into the resin film of the base material, or the backsheet 12 may be embossed. Note that calcium carbonate can be cited as the filler, and the blending method can be carried out without limitation using known methods. For example, a resin and a filler are kneaded, the obtained kneaded product is formed into a film shape, and a porous (breathable) resin film can be obtained by removing the filler from the obtained film.
[0022] (Absorbent body) The absorbent body 13 is a member that can mainly absorb and hold body fluids, includes a body fluid absorbent material, and preferably includes absorbent fibers as a base material and a body fluid absorbent material held by the absorbent fibers. Note that the shape of the absorbent body 13 is not particularly limited, and examples include a rectangular shape, an oval shape, and an hourglass shape.
[0023] (Absorbent fibers) The absorbent fibers as the base material of the absorbent body 13 are not particularly limited as long as they are generally used in absorbent articles such as sanitary napkins, diapers, and urine pads. For example, they are formed from materials such as fluff pulp, cotton, rayon, acetate, tissue, absorbent paper, and hydrophilic non-woven fabric. Among these, it is preferable to use fluff pulp from the viewpoint of absorbency. Examples of the fluff pulp include those obtained by defibrating wood pulp, synthetic fibers, polymer fibers, non-wood pulp, etc. into a cotton-like state.
[0024] (Body fluid absorbent material) As the body fluid absorbing material of the absorber 13, there is no particular limitation as long as it can absorb and hold body fluid. For example, super absorbent polymer (SAP) and the like can be mentioned. Examples of SAP include polyacrylate, polyaspartate, (starch-acrylic acid) graft copolymer, (acrylic acid-vinyl alcohol) copolymer, (isobutylene-maleic anhydride) copolymer, and its saponified product. Among these, from the viewpoint of the absorption amount per unit weight, polyacrylate is preferable, alkali metal polyacrylate is more preferable, and sodium polyacrylate is even more preferable. SAP can be used alone or in combination of two or more kinds.
[0025] SAP is used, for example, in the form of particles, fibers, etc. From the viewpoint of ease of handling, etc., it is preferably used in the form of particles. At this time, by avoiding the use of SAP in the form of fine powder with poor fluidity as a powder and using SAP having a median particle diameter, the basic performance related to absorption can be enhanced, and the rough touch generated by the hardening of the absorber 13 can be reduced.
[0026] In the absorber 13, the form of the absorbent fiber and SAP may be one formed by mixing SAP particles in the absorbent fiber, or a SAP sheet in which SAP particles are fixed between the absorbent fibers. Further, as another form of the absorber 13, an absorbent sheet including a plurality of hydrophilic nonwoven fabrics and SAP fixed between the hydrophilic nonwoven fabrics can also be used. Further, from the viewpoint of preventing the dropout of SAP particles and stabilizing the shape of the absorber 13, it is preferable to wrap the absorber 13 with the carrier sheet 19. As the base material of the carrier sheet 19, any material having hydrophilicity may be used, and examples include hydrophilic nonwoven fabrics such as tissue, absorbent paper, and airlaid nonwoven fabric. When the absorber 13 includes a plurality of carrier sheets 19, the base materials of the carrier sheets 19 may be the same or different.
[0027] (Three-dimensional gathers) The left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 are members provided to prevent lateral leakage of body fluids excreted by the wearer, and are arranged on both sides in the width direction of the skin side surface of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 and extend in the longitudinal direction. The left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 of the present embodiment include a water-repellent and / or waterproof gather sheet 14a and an elastic stretch member 14b.
[0028] The gather sheet 14a constituting the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 is a sheet having water-repellent and / or waterproof properties, and is composed of, for example, a non-woven fabric. As the non-woven fabric for the gather sheet 14a, a water-repellent and / or waterproof (liquid-impermeable) non-woven fabric formed of hydrophobic fibers can be used without particular limitation. Examples thereof include spunbond non-woven fabric, meltblown non-woven fabric, and a composite non-woven fabric (SMS non-woven fabric) which is a spunbond non-woven fabric / meltblown non-woven fabric / spunbond non-woven fabric laminate.
[0029] The gather sheet 14a is arranged on both sides in the width direction of the skin side surface of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 and extends in the longitudinal direction. The outer end portion in the width direction of the gather sheet 14a of the present embodiment is fixed to the outer region in the width direction of the skin side surface of the top sheet 11. For fixing the gather sheet 14a, methods such as hot melt adhesive and heat sealing are used. Note that the fixing position of the gather sheet 14a is not limited to the above. For example, the outer end portion in the width direction of the gather sheet 14a may be fixed to the back sheet 12, the inner end side in the width direction of the gather sheet 14a may be a free end, and the middle portion in the width direction of the gather sheet 14a may be fixed to the top sheet 11.
[0030] The elastic stretch member 14b is disposed along the longitudinal direction near the free end (inner end in the width direction) of the gather sheet 14a, imparts stretchability and standing property to the free end, and enables the free end and its vicinity region to be deformed according to the body shape of the wearer. As the elastic stretch member 14b, for example, a filamentous, cord-like, or belt-like member made of natural rubber, synthetic rubber, polyurethane, etc. can be appropriately used.
[0031] (Dimensions of the left and right three-dimensional gathers) When the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 are erected, the widthwise interval W1 between the bases 16 is 100 mm or more and 250 mm or less. If the widthwise interval W1 between the bases 16 of the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 is made narrower than 100 mm, the portion of the absorber 13 that appears on the skin side surface will be reduced, and there is a risk that sufficient absorbency cannot be ensured. On the other hand, if the widthwise interval W1 between the bases 16 of the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 is made wider than 250 mm, the inner pad type absorbent article 10 itself will also become wider, and the crotch portion will become overly wide, possibly impairing the comfort during wearing.
[0032] The widthwise length W2 from the base 16 to the tip 17 of the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 is 20 mm or more and 50 mm or less. That is, when the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 are erected, the height is 20 mm or more and 50 mm or less. If the length W2 from the base 16 to the tip 17 of the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 is made shorter than 20 mm, the height of the barrier will be insufficient, leading to a risk of urine leakage. On the other hand, if the length W2 from the base 16 to the tip 17 of the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 is made longer than 50 mm, the length will be excessive for the function, making it difficult to adhere properly at the appropriate position around the legs, increasing the risk of leakage of body fluids, and also reducing the wearing feeling. Also, since the length is excessive for the function, there is a risk of increasing the manufacturing cost (material cost).
[0033] (Displacement prevention adhesive portion) As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the displacement prevention adhesive portion 15 is a portion that functions as a displacement prevention of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 with respect to the outer type absorbent article 100 (see FIGS. 4 and 5), and is provided on the outer side surface in the width direction of the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 in the erected state. The displacement prevention adhesive portion 15 of the present embodiment is provided at one location on one side (a total of two locations on both the left and right sides) on the outer side surface in the width direction at the central portion in the longitudinal direction of the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14. Note that the displacement prevention adhesive portion 15 of the present embodiment is formed in a rectangular shape, but the shape of the displacement prevention adhesive portion 15 is not limited thereto.
[0034] The adhesive for forming the misalignment-preventing adhesive portion 15 is not particularly limited. For example, hot melt adhesives such as polyacrylate, vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer, vinyl acetate-acrylic copolymer, polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene, styrene-acrylic copolymer, polyester resin, epoxy resin, styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer (SBS), styrene block copolymer (SBC), styrene-styrene-isoprene block copolymer (SIS), and styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene block copolymer (SEBS) can be mentioned. These may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
[0035] (Dimensions of the misalignment-preventing adhesive portion) As shown in Fig. 3(a), the length L in the longitudinal direction of the misalignment-preventing adhesive portion 15 is 20 mm or more and 45 mm or less. Also, the length W3 in the width direction of the misalignment-preventing adhesive portion 15 is 10 mm or more and 30 mm or less. By setting the dimensions of the misalignment-preventing adhesive portion 15 within the above range, it will not be overly large during the wearing operation with the outer absorbent article 100, and it is difficult to induce incorrect operations such as adhering to unintended locations. Also, by setting the dimensions of the misalignment-preventing adhesive portion 15 within the above range, as will be described later, when the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 and the left and right three-dimensional gathers 104 (see Fig. 5) of the outer absorbent article 100 are adhered, sufficient adhesiveness can be ensured to assist the standing properties of the three-dimensional gathers 14, 104 in cooperation.
[0036] The misalignment-preventing adhesive portion 15 may be colored in a color different from the color of the gather sheet 14a (for example, white), such as light blue, green, etc. By coloring the misalignment-preventing adhesive portion 15 in a color different from the color of the gather sheet 14a, the visibility of the misalignment-preventing adhesive portion 15 can be improved, and the workability when attaching the inner pad type absorbent article 10 to the outer absorbent article 100 (see Figs. 4 and 5) can be improved.
[0037] (Release sheet) As shown in Fig. 3(b), it is preferable that the inner pad type absorbent article 10 is provided with a peelable release sheet 18 for protecting the displacement-preventing adhesive portion 15 when the displacement-preventing adhesive portion 15 is not used. The release sheet 18 is releasably adhered to the displacement-preventing adhesive portion 15 in a state of covering the displacement-preventing adhesive portion 15. The release sheet 18 can be appropriately selected in consideration of the purpose of use, processability, economy, etc., using a silicon paper, a film such as polyethylene, a non-woven fabric such as spunbond or SMS (spunbond non-woven fabric / meltblown non-woven fabric / spunbond non-woven fabric), or a composite member of a film and a non-woven fabric, etc.
[0038] The release sheet 18 may be colored in a color different from the color of the gather sheet 14a (for example, white) (for example, light blue, green, etc.). By coloring the release sheet 18 in a color different from the color of the gather sheet 14a, the visibility of the release sheet 18 can be improved, and the workability when attaching the inner pad type absorbent article 10 to the outer type absorbent article 100 (see Figs. 4 and 5) can be improved.
[0039] (Usage method) Next, the case of attaching the inner pad type absorbent article 10 to the outer type absorbent article 100 will be described.
[0040] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the outer absorbent article 100 for wearing the inner pad type absorbent article 10 includes, for example, a liquid-permeable topsheet 101, a liquid-impermeable backsheet 102, an absorber 103 disposed between the topsheet 101 and the backsheet 102, and left and right three-dimensional gathers 104. The outer absorbent article 100 continuously includes a front body part 105 located on the ventral side of the wearer during wearing, a crotch part 106 located under the crotch of the wearer, and a back body part 107 located on the dorsal side of the wearer in the longitudinal direction. The outer absorbent article 100 of the present embodiment is a tape-fastening type absorbent article, and on both sides in the width direction of the back body part 107, there are left and right side flaps 108 extending outward in the width direction from the back body part 107, and left and right fastening tapes 109 extending outward in the width direction from the left and right side flaps 108. The base materials constituting the topsheet 101, the backsheet 102, the absorber 103, and the left and right three-dimensional gathers 104 of the outer absorbent article 100 may be substantially the same as the topsheet 11, the backsheet 12, the absorber 13, and the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 described above, although their shapes and sizes are different. Further, the outer absorbent article 100 is not limited to a tape-fastening type absorbent article, and may be a pants-type absorbent article.
[0041] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, when the inner pad type absorbent article 10 is worn on the outer absorbent article 100, the left and right three-dimensional gathers 104 of the outer absorbent article 100 are erected, and the inner pad type absorbent article 10 is disposed between the left and right three-dimensional gathers 104. Next, the release sheet 18 of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 is peeled off to expose the anti-displacement adhesive part 15, and the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 are adhered to the inner side surfaces in the width direction of the left and right three-dimensional gathers 104 of the outer absorbent article 100. At this time, it is preferable to adhere the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 and the left and right three-dimensional gathers 104 of the outer absorbent article 100 to each other in a state where both are erected.
[0042] In the inner pad type absorbent article 10 configured as described above, since the displacement preventing adhesive portions 15 are provided on the outer surfaces in the width direction of the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 in the standing state, the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 can be adhered to the inner surfaces in the width direction of the left and right three-dimensional gathers 104 of the outer type absorbent article 100. For this reason, displacement of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 with respect to the outer type absorbent article 100 can be prevented. Therefore, even when there are multiple urinations during long-term use at night or the like, or when there is a change in the body posture of the wearer, displacement and sagging of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 can be suppressed, and leakage of body fluids can be prevented.
[0043] Further, since the displacement preventing adhesive portions 15 are provided on the outer surfaces in the width direction of the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14, when the inner pad type absorbent article 10 is attached to the outer type absorbent article 100, both the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 and the left and right three-dimensional gathers 104 of the outer type absorbent article 100 can be adhered to each other in the standing state. For this reason, due to the interaction between the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14 of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 and the left and right three-dimensional gathers 104 of the outer type absorbent article 100, both three-dimensional gathers 14, 104 can be stably held in the standing state. Thereby, even a caregiver who is not used to replacing the inner pad type absorbent article 10 can easily stand up the three-dimensional gathers 14 and attach them, so that the number of reattachments is reduced and the work burden on the caregiver can be reduced. Also, since the three-dimensional gathers 14 can be stood up and attached, leakage of body fluids during long-term use can be reduced.
[0044] Therefore, according to the present embodiment, even a caregiver who is not used to replacing the inner pad type absorbent article 10 can appropriately stand up the three-dimensional gathers 14 and easily attach them, and the work burden on the caregiver can be reduced.
[0045] Further, by providing the displacement-preventing adhesive portion 15 at the longitudinal center of the left and right three-dimensional gathers 14, the position where the displacement-preventing adhesive portion 15 exists can be easily recognized as the longitudinal center of the inner pad type absorbent article 10. For this reason, it becomes easier to position the inner pad type absorbent article 10 at an appropriate position on the large outer type absorbent article 100. Therefore, even in the replacement work of the inner pad type absorbent article 10 accompanied by the weight movement of the care recipient, the need for rework is reduced, and the work burden on the caregiver can be further reduced.
[0046] As described above, the present invention has been described based on the above embodiments. However, the present invention is not limited to the contents of the above embodiments, and can be appropriately changed without departing from the scope of the present invention. That is, other embodiments, examples, operation techniques, etc. made by those skilled in the art based on this embodiment are of course all included in the scope of the present invention.
