Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a rear structure of a vehicle including an up-and-down rotatable back door that opens and closes a door opening at the rear of the vehicle, and a handle portion for the back door.

Background Art

[0002] This type of vehicle is disclosed in Patent Document 1 or 2. In the vehicle of Patent Document 1, the door opening at the rear of the vehicle is configured to be openable and closable by an up-and-down rotatable back door. The back door is provided with a strap that hangs down to the lower side of the vehicle when in the open state, and a strap folding device that pulls up this strap. The strap folding device mainly includes an arm through which the strap passes, a bracket portion that pivotally attaches this arm to the back door, and a rope that raises the bracket portion. Here, the bracket portion is biased so as to fall to the upper side of the vehicle with respect to the back door in the closed state, and is configured to stand up when a pulling force from the rope is applied. Further, the rope is installed so as to straddle the back door and the door opening, so that a pulling force is applied to the bracket portion as the back door rotates upward.

[0003] In the above configuration, the back door is rotated upward to stand up the bracket portion to which the arm is fixed so as to face the lower side of the vehicle with respect to the open back door. As a result, the strap passed through the arm is hung down from the back door, making it easier to reach this strap. Further, the back door is rotated downward to fall the bracket portion to which the arm is fixed to the upper side of the vehicle of the closed back door. As a result, the strap passed through this arm is pulled up to the upper side of the vehicle, making it difficult to be sandwiched between the back door and the door opening.

[0004] In the vehicle of Patent Document 2, a handle device capable of winding and pulling out a strap is provided. This handle device mainly includes a winding device, a weight member, and a rail member. The weight member is assembled to the rail member so as to be movable between the strap and the winding device. In the above-described configuration, when the back door rotates upward, the weight member moves toward the strap side, and thus the strap is pulled out from the winding member. Also, when the back door rotates downward, the weight member moves toward the winding device side, and thus the strap is wound around the winding member.

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0006] In the above-known technology, a strap serving as a handle portion for the back door is provided, and the operation of each device prevents the strap from being pinched between the back door and the door opening. However, in each of the above technologies, in addition to the handle portion, each device has at least three or more members, resulting in a complex configuration with a large number of parts and an increase in cost. The present invention was devised in view of the above points, and the problem to be solved by the present invention is to make the handle portion for the back door less likely to be pinched between the back door and the door opening while appropriately extending it with a simpler configuration.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0007] As a means for solving the above problems, in the rear structure of the vehicle according to the first invention, the door opening at the rear of the vehicle is displaced between an open state and a closed state by the up-and-down rotation of the back door connected to its upper end, and a strap portion extending downward from the back door in the open state is provided. In this type of configuration, it is desirable to make the handle portion for the back door less likely to be pinched between the back door and the door opening while appropriately extending it with a simpler configuration. Therefore, the rear structure of the vehicle according to the present invention has an extension portion extending downward along the vehicle so as to extend the strap portion in the open state, and a support portion for supporting the extension portion. In the open state, the support portion extends from the back door or the rear of the vehicle downward and rearward along the vehicle and is connected to the extension portion. In the closed state, the support portion and the extension portion extend downward along the vehicle so as to be continuous, and the lower end of the extension portion is arranged at the lowest position below the vehicle. When the length dimension from the lower end portion of the back door in the closed state to the upper end of the support portion from the closing portion of the door opening is defined as the reference length dimension in a side view of the vehicle, the length dimension from the upper end of the support portion in the free state without an external force applied to the lower end of the extension portion is set to be equal to or less than the reference length dimension.

[0008] In the present invention, the function of the extension portion enables the handle portion of the back door in the open state to be extended. Also, by appropriately setting the length dimensions of the support portion and the extension portion, it becomes difficult for the extension portion (handle portion) to be pinched between the back door and the door opening. And since the above-described configuration can be composed of the handle portion (strap portion and extension portion) and the support portion, the simplification of the configuration becomes possible.

[0009] The rear structure of the vehicle according to the second invention is the rear structure of the vehicle according to the first invention, in which at least a part of the support portion is provided with an extension portion that extends in the extending direction of the support portion when an external force is applied. In the present invention, by extending the support portion by the function of the extension portion, it becomes possible to further draw the extension portion supported by this support portion downward along the vehicle or the like.

[0010] The rear structure of the vehicle according to the third invention is such that in the rear structure of the vehicle according to the first or second invention, at least one of the strap portion and the support portion includes an extension portion that is connected only to one side, and is detachable from the structural portion on the vehicle side including the back door. In the present invention, two or more portions including the extension portion can be handled as an integral part, which contributes to reducing the number of parts. And the extension portion can be attached to or removed from the structural portion on the vehicle side together with the strap portion or the support portion.

Advantages of the Invention

[0011] According to the first invention of the present invention, with a simpler configuration, the handle portion for the back door can be appropriately extended while being difficult to be pinched between the back door and the door opening. Also, according to the second invention, the handle portion for the back door can be extended more appropriately. And according to the third invention, with an even simpler configuration, the extension portion can be attached to or removed from the vehicle side.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention

[0013] Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7. For the sake of convenience, in each figure, arrow lines indicating the front-rear direction, the vertical direction (height direction), and the left-right direction (vehicle width direction) of the vehicle are appropriately illustrated. In FIGS. 1 and 5, in order to clearly show the back door, the rear end portion side of the vehicle body is shown in perspective, and the back door in the closed state is illustrated. Also, in each figure, the main configuration of the back door is illustrated, and the illustration of other configurations (such as exterior materials) is omitted.

[0014] [Outline of the Rear Part of the Vehicle in Embodiment 1] First, the outline of the rear part of the vehicle 2 shown in FIG. 1 will be described. This vehicle 2 is provided with a door opening 4 in the vehicle body 3 portion (rear part of the vehicle) forming its rear surface. A rear bumper cover 6 extending in the vehicle width direction is attached to the lower side of the vehicle of this door opening 4. Also, a back door 10 is connected to the door opening 4 so as to be vertically rotatable via a hinge portion 5 provided at its upper end portion. As a result, the back door 10 can be displaced between an open state and a closed state. That is, when the back door 10 rotates upward about the hinge portion 5, the lower end portion 10E of the back door 10 is raised to the upper side of the vehicle to be in an open state (refer to the back door shown by the solid line in FIG. 1). Also, when the back door 10 rotates downward about the hinge portion 5, the lower end portion 10E of the back door 10 is closed to the door opening 4 to be in a closed state (in FIG. 1, a reference numeral 100 is attached to the closing portion between the back door shown by the two-dot chain line and the door opening). Note that a weather strip (not shown) for sealing the gap between these can be disposed on at least one of the back door 10 and the door opening 4.

[0015] Referring now to FIGS. 1 and 2, the back door 10 has a main body portion 11 that forms its outer shape and is generally rectangular. Further, on the upper side (with reference to the closed state) of the back door 10, a window portion 12 for securing the rear view is provided so as to extend in the vehicle width direction. And in the back door 10, an interior material 13 that is horizontally long in the vehicle width direction is assembled to the lower part of the inner surface of the main body portion 11, and the upper edge of this interior material 13 extends in the vehicle width direction along the lower edge of the window portion 12. Although the main body portion 11 and the interior material 13 are fixed by means such as fastening, the upper edge side of the interior material 13 is configured to be slightly separated from the main body portion 11 when an external force is applied.

[0016] [Strap portion] Referring again to FIGS. 1 and 2, on the inner surface side of the back door 10, a strap portion 20 serving as a handle portion is attached so as to extend downward of the vehicle when in the open state or the like. This strap portion 20 can be formed of, for example, a band folded back in a substantially U shape, and the lower end side, which is the folded-back end, is opened in a ring shape. Here, when the strap portion 20 is provided in the back door 10 in advance, this strap portion 20 can be attached to the first attachment location 20P of the back door 10 by a method with high attachment strength such as fastening via a metal fitting 200. This first attachment location 20P can be set at an appropriate position of the back door 10. For example, in consideration of operability, it can be provided in the main body portion 11 between the window portion 12 and the lower end portion 10E (the structural portion on the vehicle side). And the length of the strap portion 20 is not particularly limited, but it is desirable to make it as long as possible within a range where it is not sandwiched between the closed back door 10 and the door opening 4 (see FIG. 5). The length of this strap portion 20 is usually set based on the dimension L0 between the first attachment location 20P and the lower end portion 10E of the back door 10, but in this embodiment, it is also possible to set it slightly longer.

[0017] [Rear structure of the vehicle] In the rear structure of the vehicle shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the handle portion of the back door 10 is extended as much as possible in consideration of usability and the like by an extension portion 30 and a support portion 40 described later. In this structure, the extended handle portion is prevented from being sandwiched between the back door 10 and the door opening 4, and it is desirable that the configuration for this purpose be as simple as possible. Therefore, in this embodiment, the handle portion for the back door is made difficult to be sandwiched between the back door 10 and the door opening 4 while appropriately extending it by the extension portion 30 and the support portion 40 (relatively simple configuration) described later. Hereinafter, the rear structure of the vehicle will be described in detail in the order of the extension portion 30, the support portion 40, and the functions and behaviors of these two portions.

[0018] [Extension Portion] First, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the extension portion 30 is a portion that extends downward of the vehicle so as to extend the strap portion 20 when the back door is in the open state. This extension portion 30 is formed as a belt-like body having a substantially Y shape in side view, so that the main body portion 31 serving as the handle portion for the back door extends downward of the vehicle. The main body portion 31 is formed of a belt portion folded back into a substantially U shape, and its lower end side is opened in a ring shape. Further, the upper end side of the extension portion 30 is bifurcated, so that the outer connection portion 32 connected to the strap portion 20 is formed in a belt shape that obliquely extends upward and rearward (outside) of the vehicle. A horseshoe-shaped connecting member 33 is fixed to the tip side of the outer connection portion 32. That is, the tip portion of the outer connection portion 32 is bent back and wound around the base end portion of the connecting member 33, so that the connecting member 33 is fixed to the upper end of the outer connection portion 32. This connecting member 33 can be detachably screwed while passing a bolt member 34 through the bifurcated free ends thereof. Therefore, while passing the bolt member 34 through the ring-shaped lower end of the strap portion 20, the bolt member 34 is screwed to each free end of the connecting member 33. Thereby, the outer connection portion 32 of the extension portion 30 is detachably connected to the lower end of the strap portion 20. And, on the upper end side of the extension portion 30, an inner connection portion 35 connected to the support portion 40 described later is formed in a belt shape that obliquely extends upward and forward (inside) of the vehicle.

[0019] [Support Portion] Next, the support portion 40 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 is a portion that obliquely extends toward the rear side (the lower and rear sides of the vehicle) of the vehicle as it goes toward the lower side of the vehicle when the back door is in the open state. The front end portion of this support portion 40 is detachably attached to an appropriate position of the back door 10 via a locking member 41. Here, as shown in FIG. 4, the locking member 41 integrally has a substantially cylindrical insertion portion 42 and a plate-shaped insertion portion 43. Further, a substantially triangular frame-shaped connecting portion 50 is formed at the front end portion of the support portion 40. The apex side of this frame-shaped connecting portion 50 is integrated with the support portion 40. And the locking member 41 is attached to the front end portion of the support portion 40 by slidably inserting the bottom side of the frame-shaped connecting portion 50 into the insertion portion 42.

[0020] Also, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the locking member 41 is locked to the second attachment location 40P below the window portion 12 by inserting the insertion portion 43 thereof between the upper edge of the main body portion 11 and the interior material 13 of the back door 10 (the structural portion on the vehicle side). In the above-described configuration, the support portion 40 attached to the back door 10 is arranged below the window portion 12 of the vehicle, which contributes to ensuring excellent rear visibility (see FIG. 5). And by removing the insertion portion 43 from between the main body portion 11 and the interior material 13, the locking member 41 provided with this insertion portion 43 can be removed from the back door 10 side. As the attachment method (detachable attachment method) of the support portion 40, in addition to the locking and engagement using the above-described locking member 41, methods such as adsorption by a magnet or a suction cup, adhesion or sticking by a tape or an adhesive (methods with relatively low attachment strength) can be exemplified, and further, methods such as fastening with high attachment strength can also be adopted.

[0021] And at the rear end of the support part 40 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, another frame-shaped connecting part 51 is formed, and it is connected to the extension part 30 through this another frame-shaped connecting part 51. That is, the support part 40 is connected to the extension part 30 provided with the inner connecting part 35 by winding the tip part of the inner connecting part 35 around the bottom side of the another frame-shaped connecting part 51. And in the state where each part is connected, when the extension part 30 is in the open state, it is supported by the strap part 20 and the support part 40 at the bifurcated upper end side. At this time, since the strap part 20 extends obliquely (hangs down) to the lower side and the front side of the vehicle, the strap part 20, the extension part 30, and the support part 40 are arranged in a substantially Y shape in side view.

[0022] Here, referring to FIG. 5, when the back door 10 is in the closed state, the support part 40 extends (hangs down) to the lower side of the vehicle by its own weight from its second attachment point 40P. Also, the extension part 30 is connected to the support part 40 at its inner connecting part 35, and thus continuously extends (hangs down) to the lower side of the vehicle by its own weight following the support part 40. At this time, the lower end of the strap part 20 is connected to the upper end side (outer connecting part 32) of the extension part 30. Therefore, the strap part 20 is bent back in a substantially U shape in side view between the first attachment point 20P and the upper end (outer connecting part 32) of the extension part 30 and is in a state of being lifted to the upper side of the vehicle. By bending back the strap part 20 in this way, even if the strap part 20 is long, the lower end 30E of the extension part 30 is arranged at the lowest position.

[0023] [Extension part] Here, it is desirable that at least a part of the support portion 40 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 has an extension portion 45 that extends when an external force is applied. This extension portion 45 can be formed of rubber or elastomer that elastically expands and contracts, or can also be formed in a spring structure such as a coil shape or a plate shape. And the support portion 40 is formed in an elongated cord shape made of rubber or elastomer, so that substantially the entire length thereof is the extension portion 45. As a result, the support portion 40 can be extended as a whole, and it becomes possible to ensure that the amount of extension is as large as possible (refer to the support portion (40) shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 3). When adopting a spring structure, the coil spring can be provided at least in part of the support portion 40. Also, a leaf spring structure can be provided in a part of the support portion (for example, the rear end portion side), and the support portion can be lengthened by bending this leaf spring to the rear side of the vehicle.

[0024] [Function and behavior of the extension portion and the support portion when the back door is in the open state] Next, the functions and behaviors of the extension part 30 and the support part 40 will be described in the order of the back door open state and the closed state. First, in the rear structure of the vehicle shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, considering usability, it is desirable to extend the handle part for the back door. Therefore, this structure has an extension part 30 that extends downward along the vehicle so as to extend the strap part 20 in the open state, and a support part 40 that supports the extension part 30. That is, in the rear structure of the vehicle, the extension part 30 extends downward along the vehicle with its lower end connected to the lower end of the strap part 20. Further, the support part 40 supports the extension part 30 while obliquely extending downward and rearward along the vehicle. By thus supporting the upper end of the extension part 30 at the position of the lowermost rear end of the support part 40 along the vehicle, the height position of this extension part 30 can be lowered as much as possible. And in the above-described configuration, the height position of the lower end of the strap part 20 that extends straight downward along the vehicle is set as the reference height position H0 (refer to the strap part (20) shown by the two-dot chain line in the figure). And by adjusting the length dimension L1 of the extension part 30 (main body part 31), the lower end 30E of this extension part 30 can be arranged at a position (height position H1) lower than the reference height position H0 along the vehicle. Thereby, it becomes easier to reach the extension part 30, and a configuration with good usability is obtained.

[0025] Furthermore, in the rear structure of the vehicle, as shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 3, when the extension part 30 is pulled downward of the vehicle, an external force is applied to the extension part 45 of the support part 40. Then, due to the action of the extension part 45 to which the external force is applied, the support part 40 extends downward and rearward of the vehicle. By lengthening the support part 40 by the action of the extension part 45 in this way, the lower end 30E of the extension part 30 supported by the support part 40 is arranged at a position (height position H10) further downward of the vehicle. As a result, the extension part 30 can be pulled as smoothly as possible, and for example, even a short passenger such as a child or an elderly person can close the back door 10 while keeping their heels on the ground. And in this state, since the extension part 30 is continuously and straightly extended downward of the vehicle in connection with the strap part 20, the external force applied to the extension part 30 is received only at the first attachment point 20P of the strap part 20. For this reason, the external force applied to the second attachment point 40P of the support part 40 is reduced, and it is not necessary to ensure the attachment strength at that location excessively, and the above-described detachable attachment method can be selected and adopted.

[0026] [Behavior of the extension part and the support part when the back door is in the closed state] Next, referring to FIGS. 1 and 5, the back door 10 is rotated downward to close the door opening 4. In this closed state, as described above, the support part 40 and the extension part 30 continuously extend downward of the vehicle. And when the strap part 20 is bent in a substantially U shape in side view, the lower end 30E of the extension part 30 is arranged at the lowest position downward of the vehicle. In this type of configuration, it is desirable that the extension part 30 (the extended handle part) is not sandwiched between the closed back door 10 and the door opening 4. Therefore, in the present embodiment, in a side view of the vehicle (see FIGS. 1 and 5), first, the length dimension from the lower end 10E of the closed back door 10 and the closing portion 100 of the door opening 4 to the upper end of the support part 40 is set as the reference length dimension L2. Then, the length dimension L3 from the upper end of the support part 40 in the free state without an external force applied to the lower end 30E of the extension part 30 is set to be equal to or less than the reference length dimension L2.

[0027] In the above-described configuration, when the back door 10 shown in FIG. 1 moves downward, the extension portion 30 supported by the support portion 40 does not protrude outside (the rear side or the lower side of the vehicle) from the movement locus T of the lower end portion 10E of the back door 10. Then, referring to FIGS. 1 and 5, when the back door 10 is in the closed state, the lower end 30E of the extension portion 30 is disposed at the same height position H3 as the closing portion 100 between the back door 10 and the door opening 4 or at a position H4 higher than that. According to the above-described configuration, by appropriately setting the length dimensions L3 of the support portion 40 and the extension portion 30, the extension portion 30 can be made difficult to be sandwiched between the back door 10 and the door opening 4. In FIG. 5, the height position H3 of the closing portion 100 is set to the position of the lower end portion 10E of the main body portion 11 of the back door 10 in the closed state. This height position H3 can also be set to the height position of the lower end of the weather strip when the weather strip is provided on the lower surface side of the lower end portion 10E described above in the closed state.

[0028] Thus, in the above-described configuration, referring to FIGS. 3 and 5, the length dimension L1 of the extension portion 30 is set from the viewpoint of usability. When setting the length of the extension portion 30, by appropriately adjusting the total length dimension L3 with the support portion 40, the extension portion 30 is made difficult to be sandwiched between the back door 10 and the door opening 4 (closing portion 100). Further, in the above-described configuration, since the strap portion 20 in the closed state is bent in a substantially U shape in side view, the length of the strap portion 20 in the open state can be set to be longer than a general length (dimension L0).

[0029] And as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the above-described configuration can be composed of a handle portion for the back door (strap portion 20 and extension portion 30) and a support portion 40, so that the number of parts is small and the configuration can be simplified. Further, the support portion 40 and the extension portion 30 can be handled as an integral part, which further contributes to the reduction of the number of parts. And the extension portion 30 removed from the strap portion 20 is in a state of being connected only to the support portion 40. Therefore, by making the support portion 40 detachable from the back door 10, the extension portion 30 can be attached to and detached from the back door 10 (the structural portion on the vehicle side) together with the support portion 40. As a result, the support portion 40 and the extension portion 30 (integral part) can be retrofitted to the vehicle 2 provided with the strap portion 20. Also, when there are a plurality of types of integral parts (support portion 40 and extension portion 30) having different length dimensions and appearances, these can be replaced as needed.

[0030] As described above, in this embodiment, due to the function of the extension portion 30, the handle portion of the back door 10 in the open state can be extended. Also, by appropriately setting the length dimensions of the support portion 40 and the extension portion 30, it becomes difficult for the extension portion 30 (handle portion) to be sandwiched between the back door 10 and the door opening 4. And since the above-described configuration can be composed of a handle portion (strap portion 20 and extension portion 30) and a support portion 40, the configuration can be simplified. Therefore, according to this embodiment, with a simpler configuration, while extending the handle portion for the back door, it is possible to make it difficult to be sandwiched between the back door 10 and the door opening 4. Also, in this embodiment, by lengthening the support portion 40 by the function of the extension portion 45, it becomes possible to further pull the extension portion 30 supported by this support portion 40 toward the lower side of the vehicle. Further, in this embodiment, the extension portion 30 and the support portion 40 can be handled as an integral part, which contributes to the reduction of the number of parts. And the extension portion 30 can be attached to the back door 10 (the structural portion on the vehicle side) together with the support portion 40 or detached from this back door 10.

[0031] [Embodiment 2] Here, the configurations of the strap portion, the extension portion, and the support portion can take various configurations in addition to the above-described configurations. For example, in the rear structure of the vehicle according to the second embodiment shown in FIG. 6, the strap portion 20X, the extension portion 30X, and the support portion 40X are integrated, which is different from the first embodiment. In the rear structure of the vehicle according to the second (and third) embodiment described below, for the same configurations as those in the first embodiment, the same reference numerals as those in the first embodiment are used and detailed descriptions are omitted.

[0032] In the second embodiment shown in FIG. 6, the strap portion 20X and the extension portion 30X are formed of a substantially Y-shaped belt in a side view, and the portion extending downward of the vehicle at the lowermost position of the vehicle is the extension portion 30X. Further, by bifurcating the upper end of the belt, one upper end obliquely extending upward and rearward of the vehicle constitutes the strap portion 20X. And the other upper end of the belt constitutes the inner connection portion 35, and the support portion 40X is detachably connected thereto. According to the above-described configuration, all parts can be handled as an integrated part, which further contributes to reducing the number of parts. Further, the extension portion 30X can be attached to or detached from the back door 10 (the structural part on the vehicle side) together with the strap portion 20X and the support portion 40X. And according to the above-described configuration, it can be retrofitted to a vehicle without a strap portion, and it becomes easy to unify the appearance of each part, etc., which contributes to ensuring excellent designability.

[0033] [Embodiment 3] Also, in the rear structure of the vehicle according to the third embodiment shown in FIG. 7, a strap portion 20Y and an extension portion 30Y are integrally formed with a belt body that is longer than the strap portion in the first embodiment. And the rear end portion of the support portion 40Y is detachably connected between the strap portion 20Y and the extension portion 30Y via a connection structure portion 52. As this connection structure portion 52, various detachable configurations can be adopted, and examples include a connection structure by suspension between ring fittings and double ring fittings, and a gripping structure using a tightening force (gripping force) such as a clamp, a belt clamp, or a tire. Also, instead of the connection structure portion, the rear end portion of the support portion 40Y can be tied between the strap portion 20Y and the extension portion 30Y by a hard tying method such as a tight knot. According to the above-described configuration, the extension portion 30Y and the strap portion 20Y (integrated product) can be simply formed with a belt material alone, which contributes to ensuring the unity of appearance and suppressing cost increase. As a modification, a support portion and an extension portion may be configured with a single belt body, and a strap portion may be connected between the support portion and the extension portion.

[0034] The rear structure of the vehicle of the present embodiment is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various other embodiments can be adopted. In the present embodiment, the configurations of the strap portion, the extension portion, and the support portion are exemplified, but it is not intended to limit the configurations of these portions. For example, each portion can be formed in a linear shape such as a belt shape, a cord shape, a rope shape (string shape), a wire shape, or a bellows shape (hollow structure). Also, at least a part of each portion may be formed of a rigid member such as resin or metal, and the member can be formed in a rod shape or a plate shape. Also, when it is not planned to remove the strap portion in the first embodiment, the fitting of this strap portion can be fixed to the back door in a non-detachable manner by a method such as welding, and the same applies to each portion of other embodiments. Note that the strap portion may be bent back when in the closed state or may not be bent back. Also, the support portion does not necessarily have an extension portion, but in that case, it is desirable to ensure the mounting strength at the second mounting location. Note that the support portion preferably extends obliquely, but by attaching a pulley or the like to the first mounting location, it can also be extended to the lower side of the vehicle via a pulley or the like after extending to the rear side of the vehicle.

[0035] In addition to the above-described configuration, the support portion (extension portion) may be formed by a link structure (such as a pantograph link structure, a structure in which a pair of links are pivotally connected in a substantially V shape), a telescopic damper structure, a telescopic rod-shaped structure, or the like. For example, when adopting a link structure, a torsion spring is attached to the pivot connection portion of the link or the like. Then, as each link to which an external force is applied moves against the biasing force of the torsion spring, the length of the support portion is extended. Further, a winding device may be provided at a part of the support portion, and the support portion may be drawn out from the winding device when an external force is applied. And each of the above-described various structures can be selected and used alone, or a plurality of types can be used in combination.

[0036] In addition, in this embodiment, the configurations of the vehicle and the back door are illustrated, but it is not intended to limit these configurations. And the second attachment position at the rear end portion of the support portion can be set at an appropriate position of the structural portion on the vehicle side including the back door according to the vehicle type. For example, in addition to the periphery of the window portion, it can also be set at a position above the window portion. Further, the second attachment position can also be set at a position close to the door opening portion, for example, at the structural portion of the ceiling of the vehicle (such as a rear assist grip).

[0037] In addition, in this embodiment, as described above, two or more portions selected from the strap portion, the extension portion, and the support portion can be made into an integral part. Also, whether any of the portions is provided in advance or retrofitted, the length of each portion can be appropriately set according to the vehicle type (such as vehicle height). Note that by making all the portions detachable, they can be replaced for each portion as needed, and replacement portions can also be prepared for that purpose.
