Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a printing method for cloth fabrics that can rationally use the fabric and ink when printing patterns or the like on the fabric for clothing.

Background Art

[0002] Conventionally, when printing a pattern or the like on a plain fabric for clothing, after printing the entire one piece of fabric in advance, each part 2 of the template is set (see Fig. 12). Therefore, there is a disadvantage that unnecessary ink is used because the parts other than the part 2 of the fabric 1 are printed. Moreover, since the fabric after separating each part 2 is also printed, it becomes difficult to reuse the remaining fabric.

[0003] In addition, when there is a specification of the pattern position for each part or when the vertical direction of the printed fabric is specified, since it is necessary to align the direction of the part with the top and bottom of the fabric, the occupancy rate deteriorates, and there is also a disadvantage that the amount of ink consumed for unnecessary printing and the amount of remaining fabric increase.

[0004] On the other hand, conventionally, methods such as a method for efficiently forming a template using three-dimensional data of a body model have been proposed in Patent Documents 1 to 3.

[0005] Patent Document 1 is a method for creating a template for clothing that calculates the template shape according to the fabric, reflects the characteristics of the fabric constituting the clothing, and calculates the template shape in a short time.

[0006] Moreover, Patent Document 2 is a method for enhancing the efficiency of information input by arranging two-dimensional clothing template data on three-dimensional mannequin data.

[0007] Furthermore, Patent Document 3 is a template creating device that realizes the wearing pressure required by the user by a wearing pressure simulation processing unit that corrects and determines user template data so that the simulated wearing pressure is substantially the same as the target wearing pressure.

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0009] However, in the conventional method of forming a pattern using three-dimensional data of a body model, the efficiency of printing patterns and the like on the fabric is not considered. Therefore, although it is possible to efficiently form a pattern, no method has been proposed so far for reasonably using the fabric and ink when printing patterns and the like on plain fabric.

[0010] That is, when printing on the fabric for manufacturing clothing with printed patterns, the conventional method of applying the print to the entire fabric first and then selecting each part with a pattern or the like is still adopted. Ink wasted on unnecessary printing and the remaining fabric that is difficult to recycle still occur.

[0011] Therefore, the present invention has been devised to solve the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide a method for printing on fabric that can reasonably use ink and fabric when printing patterns and the like on the fabric for clothing.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0012] The first means in the present invention for achieving the above object is a printing method for printing a printed pattern 3 on a plain fabric 1 to be worn, including a design determination means 10 for determining the design of the clothing on which the printed pattern 3 is to be printed, a pattern formation means 20 for forming the patterns constituting the determined design, a pattern position designating means 30 for designating the printed pattern 3 and the position of the printed pattern 3 according to each of the parts 2 of the pattern, a part arrangement means 40 for arranging each part 2 on which the printed pattern 3 is designated according to the size of the fabric 1, and a printing means 50 for printing the parts 2 arranged by the part arrangement means 40 together with the printed pattern 3 on the fabric 1.

[0013] The second means is that in the design determination means 10, the design is determined while selecting the printed pattern 3 by performing a simulation of dressing on the body model of 3D modeling software.

[0014] The third means is that in the pattern formation means 20, the parts 2 convert the graphic 3D data 4 of 3D modeling software into 2D pattern data 5 by DXF conversion and save it in apparel CAD or image editing software.

[0015] The fourth means is that in the part arrangement means 40, the parts 2 are arranged so that the remaining fabric of the fabric 1 is minimized.

Advantages of the Invention

[0016] In the present invention, by arranging each part 2 on which the printed pattern 3 is designated according to the size of the fabric 1 and printing the arranged parts 2 together with the printed pattern 3 on the fabric 1, it is possible to reduce the ink consumed for unnecessary printing and the remaining fabric of the fabric 1.

[0017] Moreover, since the remaining fabric 1 remains plain, it is also possible to use 100% of the fabric 1 by upcycling the remaining fabric.

Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention

[0019] The present invention is a method for printing a printed pattern 3 on a plain fabric 1 for clothing, and comprises a design determination means 10, a pattern formation means 20, a pattern position specification means 30, a part arrangement means 40, and a printing means 50 (see FIG. 1).

[0020] The design determination means 10 is a means for determining the design of the clothing on which the printed pattern 3 is to be printed. That is, using 3D modeling software for apparel products, a simulation is performed on the 3D model data of the body model on the screen of a personal computer (see step 1 of FIG. 2). In this simulation, the design of the entire clothing including the printed pattern 3 is determined (see FIG. 3).

[0021] On the one hand, the print pattern 3 is selected from various data stored as print data (see Fig. 5). This print pattern 3 can also be created with design software. Also, the print pattern 3 can be used as it is, or a part of the print pattern 3 can be enlarged or the whole can be reduced for use.

[0022] The pattern forming means 20 is a means for forming each part 2 of the pattern constituting the determined design. At this time, the graphic 3D data 4 of the determined design is converted to DXF (see Fig. 2 step2) and saved as 2D pattern data 5 in apparel CAD or image editing software (see Fig. 4).

[0023] The pattern position specifying means 30 is a means for specifying the print pattern 3, the size and position of the print pattern 3 for each part 2 (see Fig. 6). This print pattern 3 is selected from the print data stored in advance in the apparel CAD. Then, the print pattern 3 and the position of the print pattern 3 are set for each part 2 of the pattern (see Fig. 2 step3, step4).

[0024] The part arranging means 40 is a means for arranging each part 2 with the specified print pattern 3 according to the size of the fabric 1 (see Fig. 2 step5). Since the print pattern 3 for each part 2 is set for each part 2, even when there is a specification of the pattern position for each part or when the up-down direction of the printed fabric is specified, the parts 2 of the pattern are arranged at the position where the remaining cut is minimized (see Fig. 7).

[0025] Also, based on the data with each part 2 of the pattern optimally arranged, it is also possible to perform an optimal arrangement for each size (S, M, L, etc.) of the clothing using an outer periphery detecting CAM (see Fig. 8).

[0026] The printing means 50 is a means for directly printing the printed pattern 3 together with the pattern parts 2 on the fabric 1 using a fabric printer 6 (see FIG. 2 step6). This fabric printer 6 is also called a direct inkjet printer or the like, and is a printer that sprays ink from above the fabric for coloring and fixes / dries it by heat (see FIG. 9).

[0027] Furthermore, in order to produce clothing from the fabric 1 printed with the printed pattern 3 together with the parts 2, a cutting process and a sewing process are required (see FIG. 2 step7, step8).

[0028] The cutting process is a process of cutting each of the pattern parts 2 printed on the fabric 1. At this time, a CAM cutting machine 7 is used (see FIG. 10). This cutting machine is a device that senses each part 2 of the pattern with a sensor and automatically cuts it.

[0029] Finally, through the sewing process, the cut pattern parts 2 are sewn together to produce clothing (see FIG. 11).

[0030] Note that the means of the present invention is not limited to the illustrated examples, and modifications can be freely made without changing the gist of the present invention.
