Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] However, when removing the attachment part from the automotive interior material in the above structure, if the engagement part is bent more than necessary, an excessive load will be applied, and there is a risk that the resin-made plate-shaped engagement part will be damaged or the bent part will turn white. The damaged, deformed, or discolored attachment parts will have to be discarded and replaced with new parts, resulting in an increase in cost.
[0005] The present disclosure has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide an interior member for a vehicle that can simply and surely remove a cover member without damaging the engagement part of the cover member.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0006] In order to solve the above problems, the interior material for a vehicle according to the present disclosure includes a main body portion having an opening, and a cover member attached so as to cover the opening from the design surface side of the main body portion. The cover member includes a cover main body portion having a design surface, a pair of engaging portions that extend from the back surface of the cover main body portion opposite to the design surface and are elastically deformable, and locking portions provided at the tip ends of the respective pair of engaging portions and locked to the hole edge of the opening, and an extending portion that is provided so as to connect the pair of locking portions and is elastically deformable. By pushing the extending portion, the engaging portion is elastically deformed to release the locked state of the locking portion locked to the hole edge. It is characterized by being configured to be possible.
[0007] According to such a configuration, when the engaging portion is elastically deformed until the locked state of the locking portion is released by pushing the extending portion, the locked state is released and the cover member is detached from the main body portion. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the engaging portion from being deformed due to an excessive load being applied thereto. Therefore, the cover member can be easily and surely removed without damaging the engaging portion. Further, by pushing the extending portion provided on the side opposite to the design surface of the cover main body portion, the cover member is removed, so the risk of damaging the design surface of the main body portion or the cover member when removing the cover is reduced.
[0008] The extending portion may be a plate-like member having a V-shaped concave toward the cover main body portion, and may be configured such that the locked state can be released by pushing the concave portion of the extending portion. According to such a configuration, by pushing the concave portion of the extending portion, the engaging portion can be elastically deformed with a small load.
[0009] The concave portion of the extending portion includes an inclined portion that extends obliquely toward the cover main body portion so as to approach each other from each of the pair of locking portions, and a bottom surface portion that extends so as to connect the extending ends of the inclined portions. It may be configured such that the engaging portion can be elastically deformed by pushing the bottom surface portion. According to such a configuration, by pushing the bottom surface portion of the extending portion, it can be surely and easily elastically deformed.
[0010] The extended portion may be provided with a receiving portion that protrudes from the bottom surface portion in a direction away from the cover main body portion, and the engaging portion may be configured to be elastically deformable by pushing the receiving portion.
[0011] Even when a space for using a tool having a length required to push the bottom surface portion of the recessed portion recessed toward the cover main body portion cannot be secured in the vicinity of the extended portion, according to the above configuration, the tip of the tool can contact the receiving portion at a short distance, so that the extended portion can be surely pushed without using a long tool and the cover member can be removed.
[0012] The main body portion may have an opposing portion that opposes the cover member with the extended portion interposed therebetween, an insertion hole may be provided in the opposing portion, and a tool may be inserted through the insertion hole to push the extended portion to release the locked state of the locking portion.
[0013] According to such a configuration, even when the extended portion is covered by the opposing portion on the side opposite to the cover member, the tool can be inserted through the insertion hole to push the extended portion.

[0020] As shown in FIGS. 5 to 8, the cover member 40 includes a cover main body portion 42 having a design surface 42A, a pair of engaging portions 44 that extend from the back surface 42B on the side opposite to the design surface 42A of the cover main body portion 42 and are elastically deformable, locking portions 44A provided at the respective tip ends of the pair of engaging portions 44 and locked to the hole edge of the opening 31B of the mounting portion 32, and an extending portion 60 that extends so as to connect the pair of locking portions 44A and is elastically deformable. By pushing the extending portion 60, it is possible to elastically deform the engaging portion 44 and release the locked state of the locking portion 44A locked to the hole edge of the opening 31B. The locking portion 44A has a claw shape that protrudes toward the outer peripheral end of the cover main body portion 42, and the cover member 40 is attached to the main body portion 31 by the claw-shaped locking portion 44A being locked to the hole edge of the opening 31B. The pair of engaging portions 44 extend from the outer peripheral end portion of the cover main body portion 42 so as to face each other, and the insertion hole 31H is provided to face the inner side portion of the cover main body portion 42 with respect to the engaging portion 44.
[0021] As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the extending portion 60 is a plate-like member having a V-shaped concave portion toward the cover main body portion 42, and by pushing the concave portion 62 of the extending portion 60, it is possible to release the locked state of the locking portion 44A. The extending portion 60 includes inclined portions 62A that extend obliquely toward the cover main body portion 42 so as to approach each other from the opposing locking portions 44A, and a bottom surface portion 62B that extends to connect the extending ends of the inclined portions 62A. The bottom surface portion 62B extends parallel to the cover main body portion 42. The bottom surface portion 62B is provided at the center between the pair of locking portions 44A in the extending portion 60.
[0022] The main body portion 31 has an opposing portion 36A that faces the cover member 40 with the extending portion 60 interposed therebetween, and an insertion hole 31H is provided in the opposing portion 36A. By inserting a tool 50 through the insertion hole 31H and pushing the extending portion 60, it is possible to release the locked state of the locking portion 44A. The insertion hole 31H is provided in a portion of the main body portion 31 that faces the central portion of the extending portion 60.
[0023] When attaching the cover member 40 to the opening 31B, the engaging portion 44 and the extended portion 60 are pushed into the opening 31B. Then, as shown in FIG. 5, the engaging portions 44 elastically deform so as to approach each other, and the extended portion 60 also elastically deforms so as to approach the cover main body portion 42. By elastically deforming the engaging portion 44 and the extended portion 60, they are inserted into the opening 31B. As shown in FIG. 6, the locking portion 44A is locked to the hole edge of the opening 31B, and a locked state is achieved.
[0024] As shown in FIG. 8, the extended portion 60 may be configured to include a receiving portion 66 that protrudes from the bottom surface portion 62B of the recessed portion 62 in a direction away from the cover main body portion 42, and the engaging portion 44 can be elastically deformed by pushing the receiving portion 66. The receiving portion 66 protrudes from a position facing the insertion hole 31H on the bottom surface portion 62B of the extended portion 60. The guide portion 31G extends toward the receiving portion 66 of the cover member 40.
[0025] In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, the main body portion 31 is composed of a first member 31C having an opening 31B and a second member 31D arranged to face the first member 31C. The second member 31D is provided with an insertion hole 31H and an attachment hole 31F. By inserting the fastening component S into the attachment hole 31F from the opening 31B side, the assist grip 30 is fixed to the trim main body portion 20. The opening 31B is covered from the design surface 31A side by the cover member 40, and since the fastening component S cannot be seen from the vehicle interior, the design property of the assist grip 30 is improved. When it is necessary to remove the assist grip 30 from the trim main body portion 20, such as during maintenance for replacing the assist grip 30, access to the fastening component S can be achieved by removing the cover member 40.
[0026] Next, the operation and effects of the assist grip 30 of the present embodiment will be described. The assist grip 30 includes a main body portion 31 having an opening 31B, and a cover member 40 attached so as to cover the opening 31B from the design surface 31A side of the main body portion 31. The cover member 40 includes a cover main body portion 42 having a design surface 42A, a pair of engaging portions 44 extending from the back surface 42B on the side opposite to the design surface 42A of the cover main body portion 42 and capable of elastic deformation, and locking portions 44A provided at the tip ends of the pair of engaging portions 44 and locked to the hole edge of the opening 31B. The cover member 40 further includes an extending portion 60 that extends so as to connect the pair of locking portions 44A and is capable of elastic deformation. By pressing the extending portion 60, the engaging portion 44 can be elastically deformed to release the locked state of the locking portion 44A locked to the hole edge. The extending portion 60 is pressed from the side opposite to the design surface 31A of the main body portion 31 of the assist grip 30.
[0027] According to such a configuration, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, when the engaging portion 44 is elastically deformed until the locked state of the locking portion 44A is released by pressing the extending portion 60, the locked state is released and the cover member 40 comes off from the main body portion 31. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the engaging portion 44 from being deformed due to an excessive load applied thereto. Thus, the cover member 40 can be easily and surely removed without damaging the engaging portion 44. Further, by pressing the extending portion 60 provided on the side opposite to the design surface 42A of the cover main body portion 42 to remove the cover member 40, the risk of damaging the design surfaces 31A and 42A of the main body portion 31 and the cover member 40 during cover removal is reduced.
[0028] The extending portion 60 is a plate-like member having a V-shaped concave toward the cover main body portion 42, and the locked state can be released by pressing the concave portion 62 of the extending portion 60. According to such a configuration, by pressing the concave portion 62 that is concave toward the cover main body portion 42, the engaging portion 44 can be elastically deformed with a small load.
[0029] The recessed portion 62 of the extended portion 60 includes an inclined portion 62A that extends obliquely from each of the pair of locking portions 44 toward each other and toward the cover main body portion 42, and a bottom surface portion 62B that extends to connect the extended ends of the inclined portion 62A. According to such a configuration, by pushing the bottom surface portion 62B of the extended portion 60, the engaging portion 44 can be easily and surely elastically deformed with a small load.
[0030] The extended portion 60 includes a receiving portion 66 that protrudes from the bottom surface portion 62B of the recessed portion 62 in a direction away from the cover main body portion 42, and the engaging portion 44 can be elastically deformed by pushing the receiving portion 66.
[0031] Even when a space for using a tool having a length necessary to push the V-shaped extended portion 60 that is recessed toward the cover main body portion 42 cannot be secured in the vicinity of the extended portion 60, according to the configuration having the receiving portion 66, the tip of the tool can contact the receiving portion 66 at a short distance. Therefore, the extended portion 60 can be surely pushed without using a long tool, and the cover member 40 can be removed.
[0032] The main body portion 31 has an opposing portion 36A that opposes the cover member 40 with the extended portion 60 interposed therebetween. An insertion hole 31H is provided in the opposing portion 36A. The locking state of the locking portion 44A can be released by inserting the tool 50 through the insertion hole 31H and pushing the extended portion 60. According to such a configuration, even when the extended portion 60 is covered by the opposing portion 36A on the side opposite to the cover member 40, the tool 50 can be inserted through the insertion hole 31H to push the extended portion 60.
[0033] The main body portion 31 includes a guide portion 31G that extends from the hole edge of the insertion hole 31H toward the bottom surface portion 62B of the extension portion 60, and the tool 50 inserted into the insertion hole 31H is configured to be guided along the guide portion 31G. According to such a configuration, since the tool 50 inserted into the insertion hole 31H is reliably guided toward the bottom surface portion 62B by the guide portion 31G, the bottom surface portion 62B can be surely pressed to release the locked state of the locking portion 44A. Further, in the configuration where the receiving portion 66 is provided in the extension portion 60, the guide portion 31G extends toward the receiving portion 66, and since the tool 50 inserted into the insertion hole 31H is reliably guided toward the receiving portion 66 by the guide portion 31G, the tip of the tool 50 can surely abut against the receiving portion 66.
[0034] Also, the tip portion of the receiving portion 66 is preferably configured to be larger than the tip of the tool 50 to be inserted. According to such a configuration, even when the insertion direction of the tool 50 into the insertion hole 31H is displaced, the tip of the tool is highly likely to abut against the tip portion of the receiving portion 66, and a situation where the tip of the tool does not abut against the tip portion of the receiving portion 66 is unlikely to occur.
[0035] The main body portion 31 is composed of a first member 31C provided with an opening 31B and a second member 31D arranged to face the first member 31C. The insertion hole 31H is provided in the second member 31D. The second member 31D has a mounting hole 31F into which a fastening component S for mounting to the trim main body portion 20 is inserted, and the fastening component S is fixed through the mounting hole 31F from the opening 31B side. According to such a configuration, the fastening component S exposed from the opening of the opening 31B can be covered from the design surface 31A side by the cover member 40, and the design property of the assist grip 30 is improved.
[0036] As shown in FIG. 2, the assist grip 30 includes an attachment portion 32 which is an attachment portion to the trim main body portion 20, and a configuration that is separated from the vehicle interior side surface 20A of the trim main body portion 20, and includes a gripping portion 38 that extends along the vehicle interior side surface 20A from the attachment portion 32. The attachment portion 32 includes an upright portion 34 that stands upright from the vehicle interior side surface 20A, and a connecting portion 36 that is connected to the gripping portion 38 side from the upright portion 34, is separated from the vehicle interior side surface 20A, and connects the upright portion 34 and the gripping portion 38. An opening 31B is provided on the design surface 31A side of the upright portion 34 and the connecting portion 36, and the opening 31B is covered by a cover member 40. The connecting portion 36 is provided with an insertion hole 31H on the opposite side of the design surface 31A and at a portion (opposing portion 36A) that faces the cover member 40 with the extending portion 60 interposed therebetween. The cover member 40 includes a cover main body portion 42 having a design surface 42A, a pair of engaging portions 44 that extend from the back surface 42B on the opposite side of the design surface 42A of the cover main body portion 42 and are elastically deformable, and locking portions 44A provided at the tip ends of the respective pair of engaging portions 44 and locked to the hole edge of the opening 31B, and an extending portion 60 that extends so as to connect the pair of locking portions 44A and is elastically deformable. By inserting the tool 50 through the insertion hole 31H and pushing the extending portion 60, the engaging portion 44 is elastically deformed to release the locked state of the locking portion 44A locked to the hole edge, and the cover member 40 can be removed.
[0037] According to such a configuration, by pushing the extending portion 60 provided on the side opposite to the design surface 42A, the cover member 40 can be easily and surely removed from the main body portion 31. Since the removal operation of the cover member 40 is not performed from the design surface 31A side, the risk of damaging the design surfaces 31A and 42A of the main body portion 31 and the cover member 40 is reduced. Furthermore, there is no need to provide a notch for inserting the tool 50 at the edge of the cover member 40, and the design property is not impaired. Also, since the insertion hole 31H is provided in the portion 36A of the connecting portion 36 that is on the side opposite to the design surface 31A and faces the cover member 40, the insertion hole 31H is difficult to be seen from the vehicle interior side, and the design property of the assist grip 30 is improved.
[0038] On the extending portion 60 of the cover member 40, a receiving portion 66 that protrudes toward the insertion hole 31H is provided, and the tip of the tool 50 inserted through the insertion hole 31H can push the extending portion 60 while abutting against the receiving portion 66. According to such a configuration, only a narrow space can be secured between the opposing portion 36A of the connecting portion 36 where the insertion hole 31H is provided and the inner vehicle side surface 20A of the trim main body portion 20 to which the assist grip 30 is attached, and even when a long tool cannot be inserted into the insertion hole 31H, the tip of the tool 50 inserted into the insertion hole 31H can abut against the receiving portion 66 at a short distance, so the cover member 40 can be removed by pushing the receiving portion 66 with a short tool.
[0039] An inside handle 22 is provided behind the assist grip 30 in the vehicle, and it is difficult to secure enough space for an operator to perform the removal work of the cover member 40. However, since the insertion hole 31H is provided at the end of the assist grip 30 on the side opposite to the inside handle 22, the operator can insert their hand between the assist grip 30 and the inner vehicle side surface 20A of the trim main body portion 20 from a wide space and insert the tool 50 into the insertion hole 31H.
[0040] The locking portion 44A has a claw shape that protrudes toward the outer peripheral end of the cover main body portion 42. By locking the claw-shaped locking portion 44A to the hole edge of the opening 31B, the cover member 40 is attached to the main body portion 31. According to such a configuration, when the extending portion 60 is pushed, the extending portion 60 elastically deforms and bends so as to approach the cover main body portion 42. Due to such elastic deformation of the extending portion 60, the pair of engaging portions 44 elastically deform so that the locking portions 44A approach each other, and the locking between the locking portion 44A and the hole edge of the opening 31B is released. As a result, the cover member 40 is easily removed from the main body portion 31.
[0041] <Other Embodiments> The present disclosure is not limited to the embodiments described by the above description and drawings. For example, the following embodiments are also included in the technical scope of the present disclosure. Even in the following embodiments, the same effects as those of the above examples can be obtained.
[0042] For example, it is also possible to apply the configuration of the present application to a center console box 100 (an interior member for a vehicle) provided between the driver's seat and the passenger seat in the vehicle interior. In such a configuration, as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, a storage box 200 is attached to a main body portion 102 of the center console box 100. A flange portion 202 of the storage box 200 and a part of the main body portion 102 of the center console box 100 are fixed by a fastening member S. The main body portion 102 has an opening portion 102A, and a cover member 104 is provided so as to cover the opening portion 102A from the design surface side of the main body portion 102.
[0043] The cover member 104 includes a cover main body portion 142 having a design surface 142A, a pair of engaging portions 144 that extend from a back surface 142B on the side opposite to the design surface 142A of the cover main body portion 142 and are elastically deformable, locking portions 144A provided at respective tip ends of the pair of engaging portions 144 and locked to a hole edge of the opening portion 102A, and an extending portion 160 that extends so as to connect the pair of locking portions 144A and is elastically deformable. By pushing the extending portion 160, the engaging portion 144 is elastically deformed to release the locking state of the locking portion 144A locked to the hole edge. The extending portion 160 is a plate-like member having a V-shaped concave toward the cover main body portion 142, and includes an inclined portion 162A that extends obliquely toward the cover main body portion 142 so as to approach each other from the opposing locking portions 144A, and a bottom surface portion 162B that extends to connect the extending ends of the inclined portion 162A. By pushing the bottom surface portion 162B, the locking state of the locking portion 144A can be released. Further, the extending portion 160 may include a receiving portion that protrudes from the bottom surface portion 62B.
[0044] An insertion hole 102H is provided in an opposing portion 106 that is a portion of the main body portion 102 facing the cover member 104. By inserting a tool 50 through the insertion hole 102H and pushing the bottom surface portion 62 of the extending portion 160, the cover member 104 can be removed from the main body portion 102. Since the cover member 104 is attached so as to cover the opening portion 102A, the fastening member S can be hidden.
