Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] In the above configuration, the cap is attached so that its edge is along the opening edge of the recess. As a structure for removing such a cap, there may be a case where a slight gap is provided between the edge of the cap and the opening edge of the recess. In this case, a tool can be inserted into the slight gap between the edge of the cap and the opening edge of the recess and twisted to remove the cap from the recess of the fastening member.
[0005] However, when removing the cap from the fastening member in the above structure, since it is necessary to insert the tool from the design surface side into the slight gap, there is a risk of damaging the edge of the cap, the opening edge of the recess, the design surface of the panel or the fastening member when inserting the tool into the gap or when removing the cap while twisting the tool. Further, since only a slight gap is provided between the edge of the cap and the opening edge of the recess, it is necessary to provide a notch in a part of the edge of the cap in order to facilitate the insertion of the tool. However, since such a notch is provided on the design surface, the design property is impaired.
[0006] The present disclosure has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide an interior member for a vehicle and an assist grip that can easily and surely remove a cover member without damaging the design surface of the interior member for a vehicle.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0007] In order to solve the above problems, the interior member for a vehicle of the present disclosure includes a main body portion having an opening, and a cover member attached so as to cover the opening from the design surface side of the main body portion. An insertion hole is provided in a portion of the main body portion that faces the cover member, and the cover member can be removed from the main body portion by inserting a tool through the insertion hole and pushing the cover member from the back surface on the side opposite to the design surface.
[0008] According to such a configuration, the cover member can be easily and surely removed from the main body portion by pushing it from the back surface on the side opposite to the design surface. Since the removal operation of the cover member is not performed from the design surface side, the risk of damaging the design surfaces of the main body portion and the cover member is reduced. Furthermore, it is not necessary to provide a notch for inserting a tool at the edge of the cover member, and the design property is not impaired.
[0009] The cover member may include a receiving portion that protrudes toward the insertion hole, and the tip of the tool inserted through the insertion hole may be able to contact the receiving portion and push the cover member.
[0010] When it is not possible to secure a space for inserting a tool of a length necessary for pushing the cover member in the vicinity of the insertion hole of the interior member for a vehicle, a tool of a length necessary for removing the cover member cannot be used. Even in such a case, according to the above configuration, the tip of the tool inserted into the insertion hole can contact the receiving portion at a short distance, so that the cover member can be surely removed without using a long tool.
[0011] The main body portion includes a guide portion extending from the edge of the insertion hole toward the cover member, and the tool inserted into the insertion hole may be configured to be guided along the guide portion.
[0012] According to such a configuration, the tool inserted into the insertion hole is surely guided toward the cover member by the guide portion, so that the cover member can be surely pushed.
[0013] The main body portion is composed of a first member provided with the opening and a second member disposed opposite to the first member. The insertion hole is provided in the second member, and the second member has an attachment hole for inserting a fastening component for attaching to the trim main body portion, and the fastening component may be fixed through the attachment hole from the opening side.
[0014] According to such a configuration, the fastening component exposed from the opening of the opening can be covered from the design surface side by the cover member, and the design property is improved.
[0015] The assist grip of the present disclosure is an assist grip attached to a trim main body portion, including an attachment portion which is a portion for attaching to the trim main body portion, and a configuration spaced apart from the inner side surface of the vehicle compartment of the trim main body portion, and a gripping portion extending along the inner side surface of the vehicle compartment from the attachment portion. The attachment portion includes an upright portion standing from the inner side surface of the vehicle compartment, and a connecting portion connecting from the upright portion to the gripping portion side, spaced apart from the inner side surface of the vehicle compartment, and connecting the upright portion and the gripping portion. An opening is provided on the design surface side of the upright portion and the connecting portion, and the opening is covered by a cover member. The connecting portion is provided with an insertion hole on the side opposite to the design surface and facing the cover member. A tool is inserted through the insertion hole, and the cover member can be removed by pushing the cover member from the back surface on the side opposite to its design surface.
[0016] According to such a configuration, the cover member can be easily and surely removed from the main body by pushing it from the back surface on the side opposite to the design surface. Since the removal operation of the cover member is not performed from the design surface side, the risk of damaging the design surface of the main body or the cover member is reduced. Furthermore, there is no need to provide a notch for inserting a tool at the edge of the cover member, and the design property is not impaired. Also, since the insertion hole is provided in the portion of the connecting part that is on the side opposite to the design surface and faces the cover member, the insertion hole is difficult to be seen from the vehicle interior side, and the design property is improved.
Effect of the Invention
[0017] According to the present disclosure, the cover member can be easily and surely removed without damaging the design surface of the vehicle interior member and the assist grip.

The main body 31 has an attachment portion 32 attached to the trim main body 20, and a gripping portion 38 extending along the inner side surface 20A of the trim main body 20 from the attachment portion 32. The gripping portion 38 extends away from the inner side surface 20A of the door trim main body 20, and an occupant can insert a hand between the gripping portion 38 and the door trim main body 20 to grasp the gripping portion 38 to open and close the door. The gripping portion 38 is covered with a skin 39.
[0021] The attachment portion 32 is attached to the door trim main body portion 20 by a fastening member S. As shown in FIG. 2, the attachment portion 32 has a standing portion 34 that stands upright from the inner side surface 20A of the door trim main body portion 20 in the vehicle interior, and a connecting portion 36 that extends from the standing portion 34 toward the gripping portion 38 side and connects the standing portion 34 and the gripping portion 38 while being spaced apart from the inner side surface 20A of the vehicle interior. As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the insertion hole 31H is provided in a portion (opposing portion 36A) of the connecting portion 36 that is on the side opposite to the design surface 31A and faces the cover member 40. The opposing portion 36A where the insertion hole 31H is provided in the connecting portion 36 is spaced apart from the inner side surface 20A of the vehicle interior by the length that the standing portion 34 extends from the inner side surface 20A of the vehicle interior and is arranged to face the inner side surface 20A of the vehicle interior. The opening 31B covered by the cover member 40 is provided in the design surface 31A of the standing portion 34 and the connecting portion 36 in the attachment portion 32. That is, the connecting portion 36 is a portion of the assist grip 30 that is spaced apart from the inner side surface 20A of the door trim main body portion 20 in the vehicle interior and is a portion where the cover member 40 is arranged (at least the portion where the cover member 40 is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the assist grip 30), and the standing portion 34 and the gripping portion 38 are connected by this portion.
[0022] As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the opposing portion 36A of the connecting portion 36 has a guide portion 31G, and the guide portion 31G extends from the hole edge of the insertion hole 31H toward the cover member 40. The guide portion 31G extends toward the receiving portion 46 of the cover member 40. The guide portion 31G has a cylindrical shape, and the protruding length from the opposing portion 36A is about 3 mm. The main body portion 31 has a plate-shaped first member 31C that is cylindrical as a whole, is provided with an opening 31B, and has a design surface 31A, and a second member 31D that is arranged to face the first member 31C and has an opposing portion 36A. A space is provided between the first member 31C and the second member 31D.
[0023] As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the cover member 40 includes a cover main body 42 having a design surface 42A, a pair of engaging portions 44 that extend from the back surface 42B on the side opposite to the design surface 42A of the cover main body 42 and are elastically deformable, and locking portions 44A that are provided at the respective tip ends of the pair of engaging portions 44 and are locked to the hole edge of the opening 31B of the attachment portion 32. The locking portion 44A has a claw shape that protrudes toward the outer peripheral end of the cover main body 42. By locking the claw-shaped locking portion 44A to the hole edge of the opening 31B, the cover member 40 is attached to the main body portion 31. The pair of engaging portions 44 extend from the outer peripheral end portion of the cover main body 42 so as to face each other, and the insertion hole 31H is provided to face the inner portion of the cover main body 42 that is more inward than the engaging portion 44. The cover member 40 further includes a receiving portion 46 that protrudes from the back surface 42B of the cover main body 42 toward the insertion hole 31H. The receiving portion 46 protrudes from a position on the back surface 42B of the cover main body 42 that faces the insertion hole 31H.
[0024] In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, the main body portion 31 is composed of a first member 31C having an opening 31B and a second member 31D arranged to face the first member 31C. The second member 31D is provided with an insertion hole 31H and an attachment hole 31F. By inserting the fastening part S into the attachment hole 31F from the opening 31B side, the assist grip 30 is fixed to the trim main body portion 20. The opening 31B is covered from the design surface 31A side by the cover member 40, and since the fastening part S is not visible from the vehicle interior, the design property of the assist grip 30 is improved. When it is necessary to remove the assist grip 30 from the trim main body portion 20, such as during maintenance for replacing the assist grip 30, access to the fastening part S can be achieved by removing the cover member 40.
[0025] Next, the operation and effects of the assist grip 30 of the present embodiment will be described. As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the assist grip 30 includes a main body portion 31 having an opening 31B, and a cover member 40 attached so as to cover the opening 31B from the design surface 31A side of the main body portion 31. An insertion hole 31H is provided in a portion (opposing portion 36A) of the main body portion 31 that faces the cover member 40. By inserting a tool 50 through the insertion hole 31H and pushing the cover member 40 from the back surface 42B on the side opposite to the design surface 42A, the cover member 40 can be removed from the main body portion 31. At this time, the tool 50 is inserted into the insertion hole 31H from the side opposite to the design surface 31A of the main body portion 31 of the assist grip 30.
[0026] According to such a configuration, the cover member 40 can be easily and surely removed from the main body portion by pushing it from the back surface 42B on the side opposite to the design surface 42A. Since the removal operation of the cover member 40 is not performed from the design surface side, the risk of damaging the design surfaces 31A and 42A of the main body portion 31 and the cover member 40 is reduced. Furthermore, there is no need to provide a notch for inserting the tool 50 at the edge of the cover member 40, and the design property is not impaired.
[0027] The cover member 40 is configured to include a receiving portion 46 that protrudes toward the insertion hole 31H, and the tip of the tool 50 inserted through the insertion hole 31H can push the cover member 40 while abutting against the receiving portion 46.
[0028] When there is no space available to insert a tool of a length necessary to push the cover member 40 near the insertion hole 31H of the assist grip 30, a tool of a length necessary to remove the cover member 40 cannot be used. Even in such a case, according to the above configuration, the tip of the tool 50 inserted into the insertion hole 31H can contact the receiving portion 46 at a short distance, so that the cover member 40 can be surely removed without using a long tool. The length of the tool 50 necessary to push the cover member 40 is equal to or greater than the length from the insertion hole 31H to the back surface 42B of the cover main body portion 42, but there may be a case where there is no space available to insert a tool of such a length into the insertion hole 31H in the vicinity of the insertion hole 31H. Even in such a case, in the configuration in which the receiving portion 46 is provided on the cover member 40, the length of the tool necessary to push the cover member 40 is the length from the insertion hole 31H to the tip of the receiving portion 46, which is shorter than the distance to the back surface 42B of the cover main body portion 42. Therefore, even when a wide space cannot be secured in the vicinity of the insertion hole 31H, the cover member 40 can be easily removed using a short tool.
[0029] The main body portion 31 includes a guide portion 31G extending from the hole edge of the insertion hole 31H toward the cover member 40, and the tool 50 inserted into the insertion hole 31H is configured to be guided along the guide portion 31G. According to such a configuration, the tool 50 inserted into the insertion hole 31H is surely guided toward the cover member 40 by the guide portion 31G, so that the cover member 40 can be surely pushed. Further, in the configuration in which the receiving portion 46 is provided on the cover member 40, the guide portion 31G extends toward the receiving portion 46, and the tool 50 inserted into the insertion hole 31H is surely guided toward the receiving portion 46 by the guide portion 31G, so that the tip of the tool 50 can surely contact the receiving portion 46.
[0030] Also, the tip of the receiving portion 46 may be configured to be larger than the tip of the tool 50 to be inserted. According to such a configuration, even when the insertion direction of the tool 50 into the insertion hole 31H is displaced, the tip of the tool is highly likely to contact the tip of the receiving portion 46, and a situation where it does not contact the tip of the receiving portion 46 is unlikely to occur.
[0031] The main body portion 31 is composed of a first member 31C provided with an opening 31B and a second member 31D arranged opposite to the first member 31C. The insertion hole 31H is provided in the second member 31D. The second member 31D has a mounting hole 31F for inserting a fastening component S for mounting to the trim main body portion 20, and the fastening component S is fixed through the mounting hole 31F from the opening 31B side. According to such a configuration, the fastening component S exposed from the opening of the opening 31B can be covered from the design surface 31A side by the cover member 40, and the design property of the assist grip 30 is improved.
[0032] The assist grip 30 includes a mounting portion 32 which is a mounting portion to the trim main body portion 20, and is configured to be separated from the vehicle interior side surface 20A of the trim main body portion 20, and a gripping portion 38 extending along the vehicle interior side surface 20A from the mounting portion 32. The mounting portion 32 includes a standing portion 34 standing from the vehicle interior side surface 20A, and a connecting portion 36 connecting from the standing portion 34 to the gripping portion 38 side, being separated from the vehicle interior side surface 20A and connecting the standing portion 34 and the gripping portion 38. An opening 31B is provided on the design surface 31A side of the standing portion 34 and the connecting portion 36, and the opening 31B is covered by the cover member 40. The connecting portion 36 is provided with an insertion hole 31H at a portion (opposing portion 36A) on the side opposite to the design surface 31A and facing the cover member 40. The assist grip 30 is configured to be able to remove the cover member 40 by inserting the tool 50 through the insertion hole 31H and pushing the cover member 40 from the back surface 42B on the side opposite to its design surface 42A.
[0033] According to such a configuration, the cover member 40 can be easily and surely removed from the main body 31 by pushing it from the back surface 42B on the side opposite to the design surface 42A. Since the removal operation of the cover member 40 is not performed from the design surface 31A side, the risk of damaging the design surfaces 31A and 42A of the main body 31 and the cover member 40 is reduced. Further, it is not necessary to provide a notch for inserting the tool 50 at the edge of the cover member 40, and the design property is not impaired. Also, among the connecting portions 36, an insertion hole 31H is provided in a portion 36A on the side opposite to the design surface 31A and facing the cover member 40. Therefore, the insertion hole 31H is difficult to be seen from the vehicle interior side, and the design property of the assist grip 30 is improved.
[0034] The cover member 40 is provided with a receiving portion 46 that protrudes toward the insertion hole 31H, and the tip of the tool 50 inserted through the insertion hole 31H can abut against the receiving portion 46 while pushing the cover member 40. According to such a configuration, only a narrow space can be secured between the opposing portion 36A of the connecting portion 36 where the insertion hole 31H is provided and the vehicle interior side surface 20A of the trim main body portion 20 to which the assist grip 30 is attached, and even when a long tool cannot be inserted into the insertion hole 31H, the tip of the tool 50 inserted into the insertion hole 31H can abut against the receiving portion 46 at a short distance. Therefore, the cover member 40 can be removed by pushing the receiving portion 46 with a short tool.
[0035] An inside handle 22 is provided behind the assist grip 30 in the vehicle, and it is difficult to secure sufficient space for an operator to perform the removal operation of the cover member 40. However, since the insertion hole 31H is provided at an end of the assist grip 30 on the side opposite to the inside handle 22, the operator can put a hand between the assist grip 30 and the vehicle interior side surface 20A of the trim main body portion 20 from a wide space and insert the tool 50 into the insertion hole 31H.
[0036] The cover member 40 includes a cover main body portion 42 having a design surface 42A, a pair of engaging portions 44 that extend from the back surface 42B on the side opposite to the design surface 42A of the cover main body portion 42 and are elastically deformable, and locking portions 44A provided at the tip ends of the pair of engaging portions 44 and locked to the hole edge of the opening 31B of the attachment portion 32. The locking portion 44A has a claw shape that protrudes toward the outer peripheral end of the cover main body portion 42. By locking the claw-shaped locking portion 44A to the hole edge of the opening 31B, the cover member 40 is attached to the main body portion 31.
[0037] According to such a configuration, when the cover member 40 is pushed from the back surface 42B, the cover main body portion 42 elastically deforms and bends toward the design surface 42A side, so that the pair of engaging portions 44 elastically deform such that the locking portions 44A approach each other, and the locking between the locking portion 44A and the hole edge of the opening 31B is released. As a result, as shown in FIG. 7, the cover member 40 can be easily removed from the main body portion 31.
[0038] <Other Embodiments> The present disclosure is not limited to the embodiments described with the above description and drawings. For example, the following embodiments are also included in the technical scope of the present disclosure. Even in the following embodiments, the same effects as those of the above examples can be obtained.
[0039] For example, it is also possible to apply the configuration of the present application to a center console box 100 (an interior member for a vehicle) provided between the driver's seat and the passenger seat in the vehicle interior. In such a configuration, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, a storage box 200 is attached to a main body portion 102 of the center console box 100. A flange portion 202 of the storage box 200 and a part of the main body portion 102 of the center console box 100 are fixed by a fastening component S. The main body portion 102 has an opening 102A, and a cover member 104 is provided so as to cover the opening 102A from the design surface side of the main body portion 102.
