[0013] In each drawing, the dimensions of the components may be enlarged or reduced with respect to the actual dimensions for ease of understanding, for example, and the dimensional ratios between the drawings may not match. In each drawing, a part of the components may be omitted for ease of understanding, for example.
[0014] Terms including ordinal numbers such as first, second, etc. are used to describe various components, but this term is used only for the purpose of distinguishing one component from another, and the components are not particularly limited by this term. The number of components including ordinal numbers is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, one. Also, the ordinal numbers used in the following specification and drawings may be different from the ordinal numbers described in the claims.
[0015] Hereinafter, an embodiment of an elevator, an elevator car, and a car handrail will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 5. Note that the following embodiments are illustrative for helping the understanding of the configurations of the elevator, the elevator car, and the car handrail, and do not limit the configurations of the elevator, the elevator car, and the car handrail.
[0016] As shown in FIG. 1, the elevator 1 includes an elevator car (hereinafter also simply referred to as a "car") 10 for people (passengers) to ride. And the elevator 1 may include, for example, as in this embodiment, a car drive unit 2 for running the car 10, a car rail (not shown) for guiding the car 10, and a processing unit 3 for controlling each part of the elevator 1. Note that the drive method of the car drive unit 2 is not particularly limited.
[0017] The elevator 1 may include, for example, as in this embodiment, a car rope 4 having a first end connected to the car 10, a counterweight 5 connected to the second end of the car rope 4, and a weight rail (not shown) for guiding the counterweight 5. And the car drive unit 2 may include, for example, as in this embodiment, a sheave 2a around which the car rope 4 is wound, a drive source 2b (for example, a motor) for rotating the sheave 2a, and a braking unit (not shown) for braking the sheave 2a.
[0018] That is, the car drive unit 2 may be a hoisting machine, and the elevator 1 may have a configuration of a rope drive method. Note that it is not limited to such a configuration. For example, the car drive unit 2 may be a hydraulic device, and the elevator 1 may have a configuration of a hydraulic drive method. Also, for example, the car drive unit 2 may be a linear motor, and the elevator 1 may have a configuration of a linear motor drive method.
[0019] In addition, in the present embodiment, the first end of the car rope 4 is connected to the car 10, and the second end of the car rope 4 is connected to the counterweight 5. However, the configuration is not limited to this. For example, both ends of the car rope 4 may be fixed to the upper or lower part of the hoistway X1 respectively, and the car rope 4 may be wound around the sheave of the car 10 and the sheave of the counterweight 5 respectively, so that the car rope 4 is connected to the car 10 and the counterweight 5 respectively.
[0020] Further, the elevator 1 according to the present embodiment has a configuration in which the hoisting machine, which is the car driving unit 2, is arranged inside the machine room X2. However, the configuration is not limited to this. For example, if the machine room X2 is not provided, the elevator 1 may have a configuration in which the hoisting machine is arranged inside the hoistway X1.
[0021] In each figure, the first direction D1 is the first lateral direction D1, the second direction D2 is the second lateral direction D2 which is a lateral direction orthogonal to the first lateral direction D1, and the third direction D3 is the vertical direction D3 which is orthogonal to each of the lateral directions D1 and D2, and is the elevating direction in which the car 10 and the counterweight 5 move up and down.
[0022] The elevator 1 may include, for example, as in the present embodiment, a landing door 6 that opens and closes the entrances and exits of the landings X3 and X4, and a landing operation panel 7 arranged at the landings X3 and X4. The car 10 may include, for example, as in the present embodiment, a car cabin 11 for people to ride in, car doors 12 and 13 that move between an open position where the entrance and exit of the car cabin 11 is opened and a closed position where it is closed, and a door driving unit 14 that performs the opening and closing operation of the car doors 12 and 13.
[0023] Thereby, when the door driving unit 14 moves the car doors 12 and 13, the car doors 12 and 13 open and close the entrance and exit of the car cabin 11. And when the car doors 12 and 13 open and close the entrance and exit of the car cabin 11, the landing doors 6 of the landings X3 and X4 where the car 10 stops may be configured to open and close the entrances and exits of the landings X3 and X4 in conjunction with the car doors 12 and 13.
[0024] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the car body 11 may include, for example, first to fourth side walls 11a to 11d. For example, as in the present embodiment, the first side wall 11a and the second side wall 11b are separated in the first lateral direction D1, and the third side wall 11c and the fourth side wall 11d are separated in the second lateral direction D2, and are each connected to the first side wall 11a and the second side wall 11b, respectively. Such a configuration may be adopted.
[0025] The car 10 may include, for example, as in the present embodiment, first car operation panels (also referred to as "main car operation panels") 15, 15 fixed to the ends of the first side wall 11a and the second side wall 11b in the second lateral direction D2, and a second car operation panel (also referred to as "sub car operation panel") 16 fixed to the central portion of the third side wall 11c in the first lateral direction D1. Then, the processing unit 3 may control the running of the car 10 and the opening and closing of the car doors 12, 13 based on information input to the operation panels 7, 15, 16 (for example, destination floor information and door opening / closing information input to the car operation panels 15, 16, destination direction information input to the landing operation panel 7, etc.).
[0026] The car doors 12, 13 include two first car doors 12 and second car doors 13 that are separated from each other in the first lateral direction D1. As a result, the first car door 12 and the second car door 13 face each other in the first lateral direction D1. The first car door 12 opens and closes the entrance / exit of the first side wall 11a of the car body 11, and the second car door 13 opens and closes the entrance / exit of the second side wall 11b of the car body 11.
[0027] The car 10 includes car handrails 20, 21 disposed inside the car body 11. The number of the car handrails 20, 21 is not particularly limited. However, the car handrails 20, 21 may include, for example, as in the present embodiment, a first car handrail 20 fixed to the third side wall 11c of the car body 11 and a second car handrail 21 fixed to the fourth side wall 11d of the car body 11. Note that, for example, one car handrail may be provided, or, for example, three or more car handrails may be provided.
[0028] Here, the configuration of the cage handrails 20 and 21 will be described with reference to FIGS. 3 to 5. Hereinafter, only the first cage handrail 20 (hereinafter also simply referred to as the "cage handrail") will be described. However, the second cage handrail 21 may have a shape that is line-symmetrical to the first cage handrail 20 with respect to the first lateral direction D1, for example, when viewed in the vertical direction D3, or may have a shape that is asymmetrical to the first cage handrail 20, for example.
[0029] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the cage handrail 20 includes a handrail portion 22 extending in the first lateral direction D1. Further, the cage handrail 20 may include a connecting portion 23 that connects the handrail portion 22 and the third side wall 11c in order to fix the handrail portion 22 to the third side wall 11c, for example, as in the present embodiment.
[0030] The handrail portion 22 may be disposed below the second cage operation panel 16, for example, as in the present embodiment. And the handrail portion 22 may be formed in a columnar shape with a circular cross-section, for example, as in the present embodiment, or may be formed in a columnar shape with a square cross-section, for example, or may be formed in a plate shape, for example.
[0031] The connecting portion 23 may include a handrail fixing portion 23a to which the handrail portion 22 is fixed and a side wall fixing portion 23b to which the side wall 11c is fixed, for example, as in the present embodiment. The handrail fixing portion 23a may be fixed to the lateral end portion of the handrail portion 22 in the first lateral direction D1, for example, as in the present embodiment, or may be fixed to the lower portion of the handrail portion 22, or may be fixed to the lateral end portion of the handrail portion 22 in the second lateral direction D2, for example.
[0032] By the way, in view of the fact that visually impaired people often grasp the handrail portion 22, as shown in FIG. 4, the cage handrail 20 includes a door display portion 24 formed in an uneven shape on the surface of the handrail portion 22 in order to indicate the number of the cage doors 12 and 13. The door display portion 24 has a double-arrow shape in which the first arrow tip 24a points to the position of the first cage door 12 (specifically, the first side wall 11a) and the second arrow tip 24b points to the position of the second cage door 13 (specifically, the second side wall 11b).
[0033] Thus, when a visually impaired person touches the door display unit 24, the visually impaired person can recognize the position of the first car door 12 by the first tip 24a and the position of the second car door 13 by the second tip 24b. Moreover, since there are two tips 24a and 24b, the visually impaired person can also recognize that the number of the car doors 12 and 13 is two. Therefore, the visually impaired person can recognize the number and position of the car doors 12 and 13.
[0034] In addition, the door display unit 24 may include, for example, a linear arrow pattern 24c that connects the sharp first tip 24a and the sharp second tip 24b as in the present embodiment. As a result, since the door display unit 24 is configured in one continuous shape without being separated, the visually impaired person can recognize the number and position of the car doors 12 and 13 by touching one shape. Note that the door display unit 24 may all have the same shape, for example, as in the present embodiment.
[0035] Also, a plurality of door display units 24 are provided so as to be arranged in the first lateral direction D1. Thereby, when a visually impaired person grasps the handrail portion 22, the door display unit 24 is more likely to be contacted by the visually impaired person. The number of the door display units 24 is not particularly limited. For example, it may be 11 as in the present embodiment, or may be, for example, 2 to 10 or 12 or more.
[0036] In addition, the interval between the door display units 24 is not particularly limited. For example, when a visually impaired person grasps the handrail portion 22, it is preferable that the hand of the visually impaired person contacts at least one door display unit 24. As a result, the interval between the door display units 24 may be, for example, 50 mm or less, preferably, for example, 40 mm or less, and more preferably, for example, 30 mm or less.
[0037] The cage handrail 20 is provided with an end display portion 25 formed in a concavo-convex shape on the surface of the end portion of the handrail portion 22 in the first lateral direction D1 in order to indicate that it is the end portion of the handrail portion 22. The end display portion 25 has a shape different from that of the door display portion 24. Thereby, when a visually impaired person touches the end display portion 25, the visually impaired person recognizes that they are at the end of the handrail portion 22. Therefore, for example, the visually impaired person recognizes that they are near the cage doors 12, 13.
[0038] Regarding the fact that there are two cage doors 12, 13, the end display portions 25 may be respectively arranged at both end portions in the first lateral direction D1 so as to sandwich a plurality of door display portions 24 in the first lateral direction D1, for example, as in this embodiment. Note that the end display portion 25 may have a linear shape extending in the second lateral direction D2, for example, as in this embodiment. Also, the end display portions 25 may all have the same shape, for example, as in this embodiment.
[0039] Also, since visually impaired people often grasp the handrail portion 22 from above, the door display portion 24 and the end display portion 25 may be arranged above the center of the handrail portion 22 in the vertical direction D3, for example, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. Thereby, when a visually impaired person grasps the handrail portion 22, the door display portion 24 and the end display portion 25 are more likely to be contacted by the visually impaired person.
[0040] Also, the door display portion 24 may protrude from the surface of the handrail portion 22 and be formed in a convex shape on the surface of the handrail portion 22, for example, as shown in FIG. 5(a), or may be recessed from the surface of the handrail portion 22 and be formed in a concave shape on the surface of the handrail portion 22, for example, as shown in FIG. 5(b). Also, although not shown, the end display portion 25 may protrude from the surface of the handrail portion 22 and be formed in a convex shape on the surface of the handrail portion 22, or may be recessed from the surface of the handrail portion 22 and be formed in a concave shape on the surface of the handrail portion 22.
[0041] From the above, the elevator cage 10 is, as in this embodiment, cage doors 12, 13 that open and close, and It includes cage handrails 20, 21 arranged inside, The cage handrails 20, 21 are, equipped with a handrail part 22 extending in the first lateral direction D1, To indicate the number of the cage doors 12, 13, it is equipped with a door display part 24 formed in a concavo-convex shape on the surface of the handrail part 22. Such a configuration is preferable.
[0042] According to such a configuration, in view of the fact that visually impaired people often grasp the handrail part 22, the cage handrails 20, 21 are equipped with a door display part 24 formed in a concavo-convex shape on the surface of the handrail part 22, and the door display part 24 indicates the number of the cage doors 12, 13. Thus, when a visually impaired person grasps the handrail part 22, by contacting the door display part 24, the visually impaired person can recognize the number of the cage doors 12, 13. Therefore, it is possible to make it easier for visually impaired people to recognize the number of the cage doors 12, 13.
[0043] Also, in the elevator car 10, as in this embodiment, the cage doors 12, 13 are provided with two, i.e., a first cage door 12 and a second cage door 13 that are separated from each other, the door display part 24 is in the shape of both arrows where the first arrow tip 24a points to the position of the first cage door 12 and the second arrow tip 24b points to the position of the second cage door 13, such a configuration is preferable.
[0044] According to such a configuration, the door display part 24 is in the shape of both arrows, the first arrow tip 24a points to the position of the first cage door 12, and the second arrow tip 24b points to the position of the second cage door 13. Thus, by contacting the door display part 24, a visually impaired person can recognize not only the number of the cage doors 12, 13 (the number of the arrow tips 24a, 24b, which is 2) but also the positions of the first cage door 12 and the second cage door 13 (the positions pointed to by the arrow tips 24a, 24b). Therefore, it is possible to make it easier for visually impaired people to recognize not only the number of the cage doors 12, 13 but also the positions of the cage doors 12, 13.
[0045] Also, in the elevator car 10, as in this embodiment, A plurality of the door display portions 24 are provided so as to be arranged in the first lateral direction D1. Such a configuration is preferable.
[0046] According to such a configuration, since the plurality of door display portions 24 are arranged in the first lateral direction D1, when a visually impaired person grasps the handrail portion 22, it becomes easier to contact the door display portion 24. Thereby, it is possible to make it easier for the visually impaired person to recognize the number of the cage doors 12 and 13.
[0047] Further, in the elevator car 10, as in the present embodiment, the car handrails 20 and 21 are provided with an end display portion 25 formed in a concavo-convex shape on the surface of the end portion of the handrail portion 22 in the first lateral direction D1 in order to indicate that they are the end portions of the handrail portion 22. The end display portion 25 has a shape different from the shape of the door display portion 24. Such a configuration is preferable.
[0048] According to such a configuration, the end display portion 25 is arranged on the surface of the end portion of the handrail portion 22 in the first lateral direction D1, and by having a shape different from the shape of the door display portion 24, it indicates that it is the end portion of the handrail portion 22. Thereby, when a visually impaired person contacts the end display portion 25, it is possible to make the visually impaired person recognize that they are at the end portion of the handrail portion 22.
[0049] Further, it is preferable that the elevator 1 has the elevator car 10 as in the present embodiment.
[0050] According to such a configuration, it is possible to make it easier for the visually impaired person to recognize the number of the cage doors 12 and 13.
[0051] Further, it is preferable that the car handrails 20 and 21 are used for the elevator car 10 as in the present embodiment.
[0052] According to such a configuration, it is possible to make it easier for the visually impaired person to recognize the number of the cage doors 12 and 13.
[0053] Note that the elevator 1, the elevator car 10, and the car handrails 20 and 21 are not limited to the configurations of the above-described embodiments, nor are they limited to the above-described functions and effects. Further, the elevator 1, the elevator car 10, and the car handrails 20 and 21 can be variously modified without departing from the gist of the present invention. For example, it goes without saying that one or more of the configurations and methods according to the following various modification examples can be arbitrarily selected and adopted in the configurations and methods according to the above-described embodiments.
[0054] (A) In the elevator car 10 according to the above-described embodiment, the door display unit 24 has a double-arrow shape and includes information on the number and position of the car doors 12 and 13. However, the elevator car 10 is not limited to such a configuration.
[0055] For example, the door display unit 24 may be configured to include information on the number of the car doors 12 and 13 and not include information on the positions of the car doors 12 and 13. Although not particularly limited, as an example of such a configuration, for example, the door display unit 24 may be in braille and may be described as, for example, "one door", "two doors", etc.
[0056] (B) Further, in the elevator car 10 according to the above-described embodiment, the door display unit 24 is configured in one continuous shape without separation. However, the elevator car 10 is not limited to such a configuration.
[0057] For example, the door display unit 24 may be configured in a plurality of separated shapes. Although not particularly limited, as an example of such a configuration, for example, as shown in FIG. 6, the door display unit 24 may be configured such that the arrowheads 24a and 24b and the arrow shaft 24c are each composed of a plurality of points. Further, although not particularly limited, as another example of such a configuration, for example, as shown in FIG. 7, the door display unit 24 may be configured to include only a plurality of separated arrowheads 24a and 24b.
[0058] (C) Also, in the elevator car 10 according to the above embodiment, the door display portion 24 is configured such that a plurality of them are formed with respect to the handrail portion 22 so as to be arranged in the first lateral direction D1. However, the elevator car 10 is not limited to such a configuration. For example, the door display portion 24 may be configured such that only one is formed with respect to the handrail portion 22.
[0059] (D) Also, in the elevator car 10 according to the above embodiment, the plurality of door display portions 24 are configured such that all have the same shape. However, the elevator car 10 is not limited to such a configuration.
[0060] For example, the door display portion 24 may be configured to have a shape different from at least one other door display portion 24. Although not particularly limited, as an example of such a configuration, for example, as shown in FIG. 8, the door display portion 24 is formed such that the first tip 24a becomes larger as it approaches the first car door 12, and the second tip 24b becomes larger as it approaches the second car door 13. Thereby, when a visually impaired person touches the door display portion 24, the visually impaired person can recognize the distance to the car doors 12 and 13.
[0061] (E) Also, in the elevator car 10 according to the above embodiment, the end display portion 25 is configured to have a linear shape extending in the second lateral direction D2. However, the elevator car 10 is not limited to such a configuration.
[0062] The end display portion 25 may be, for example, round, or may be, for example, square, or may be, for example, a shape in which two straight lines extending in the second lateral direction D2 are arranged in the first lateral direction D1. Thus, the shape of the end display portion 25 is not particularly limited.
[0063] Further, the end display unit 25 may be configured to be, for example, numbers (such as 1, 2) instead of a figure as shown in FIG. 8. Although not particularly limited, in such a configuration, the car 10 may be provided with a car sound - emitting unit that emits, for example, the numbers corresponding to the next - operating car doors 12, 13 by sound.
[0064] And, for example, when the next - opening - and - closing car door 12 is the first car door 12 disposed near the end display unit 25 of "1", the car output unit may be configured to emit a sound saying, "Next, the door numbered 1 will open." Also, for example, when the next - opening - and - closing car door 13 is the second car door 13 disposed near the end display unit 25 of "2", the car output unit may be configured to emit a sound saying, "Next, the door numbered 2 will open."
[0065] (F) Also, in the elevator car 10 according to the above - described embodiment, the end display units 25 all have the same shape. However, the elevator car 10 is not limited to such a configuration. For example, as shown in FIG. 8, the end display unit 25 may be configured to have a shape different from that of the other end display units 25.
[0066] (G) Also, in the elevator car 10 according to the above - described embodiment, the car handrails 20, 21 are configured to include the end display unit 25. However, the elevator car 10 is not limited to such a configuration. For example, the car handrails 20, 21 may be configured not to include the end display unit 25.
[0067] (H) Also, in the elevator car 10 according to the above - described embodiment, the door display unit 24 and the end display unit 25 are configured to be disposed above the center of the handrail part 22 in the vertical direction D3. However, the elevator car 10 is not limited to such a configuration.
[0068] For example, the door display unit 24 may be configured to be disposed below the center of the handrail unit 22 in the vertical direction D3. Also, for example, the end display unit 25 may be configured to be disposed below the center of the handrail unit 22 in the vertical direction D3.
[0069] (I) Further, in the elevator car 10 according to the above embodiment, the first car door 12 and the second car door 13 face each other in the first lateral direction D1. The first car door 12 opens and closes the entrance / exit of the first side wall 11a, and the second car door 13 opens and closes the entrance / exit of the second side wall 11b. However, the elevator car 10 is not limited to such a configuration.
[0070] For example, as shown in FIG. 9, the first car door 12 may be configured to open and close the entrance / exit of the first side wall 11a, and the second car door 13 may be configured to open and close the entrance / exit of the fourth side wall 11d. And the car 10 according to FIG. 9 includes a first car handrail 20 fixed to the third side wall 11c and extending in the first lateral direction D1, a second car handrail 21 fixed to the fourth side wall 11d and extending in the first lateral direction D1, and a third car handrail 26 fixed to the second side wall 11b and extending in the second lateral direction D2.
[0071] In FIG. 9, the first car handrail 20 and the second car handrail 21 include a plurality of door display units 24 arranged in the first lateral direction D1, and the third car handrail 26 includes a plurality of door display units 24 arranged in the second lateral direction D2. Also, the door display unit 24 according to FIG. 9 has a double-arrow shape in which the first tip 24a points to the position of the first car door 12 (specifically, the first side wall 11a) and the second tip 24b points to the position of the second car door 13 (specifically, the fourth side wall 11d).
[0072] (J) Further, the elevator car 10 according to the above embodiment is configured to include two car doors 12, 13. However, the elevator car 10 is not limited to such a configuration.
[0073] For example, the elevator car 10 may be configured to include one car door 12. Although not particularly limited, as an example of such a configuration, the car door 12 may be configured to open and close the entrance and exit of the first side wall 11a, for example. And, the door display portion 24 according to FIG. 10 is in the shape of a single arrow with the arrowhead 24a pointing to the position of the first car door 12 (specifically, the first side wall 11a).
[0074] Thus, in the elevator car 10, as shown in FIG. 10, only one car door 12 is provided, the door display portion 24 is in the shape of a single arrow with the arrowhead 24a pointing to the position of the car door 12, which may be a configuration.
[0075] According to such a configuration, the door display portion 24 is in the shape of a single arrow, and the arrowhead 24a points to the car door 12. Thereby, a visually impaired person can recognize not only the number of car doors 12 (the number of arrowheads 24a, which is one) but also the position of the car door 12 (the position pointed to by the arrowhead 24a) by touching the door display portion 24. Therefore, it is possible to make it easier for a visually impaired person to recognize not only the number of car doors 12 but also the position of the car door 12.
[0076] (K) Note that, for example, in the methods and apparatuses shown in the claims, the specification, and the drawings, the execution order of each step such as operations, procedures, steps, and stages can be realized in any order as long as the result of the previous step is not used in the subsequent step. For example, even if described for convenience using "first", "next", etc., it does not mean that it is essential to execute in this order.
