[Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Publication No. 2023-076993 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] There are cases where vehicle wiring members have multiple types with different diameters depending on the vehicle specifications, and there is a demand for a waterproof structure for wiring members that can accommodate multiple wiring members with such different diameters.
[0005] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a waterproof structure for wiring members that can accommodate a plurality of wiring members with different diameters. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] The wiring member water-stopping structure of the present invention is a wiring member water-stopping structure that is installed in a vehicle that includes a first body member having an opening that connects the inside and outside of the vehicle body, a second body member that covers the opening, a wiring member that passes between the first body member and the second body member and through the opening, and a sealing member that is interposed between the first body member and the second body member, and includes a cover that is arranged between one of the first body member and the second body member and the sealing member and that houses the wiring member inside, and an elastic member that surrounds the wiring member and is interposed between the cover and the wiring member.
[0007] According to this configuration, the elastic member is elastically deformed in accordance with the diameter of the wiring member, and therefore can accommodate a plurality of wiring members with different diameters.
[0008] In the wiring member waterproof structure, for example, the cover has a first cover member that is overlaid on one of the first body member and the second body member, a second cover member that is overlaid on the other of the first body member and the second body member, and a protrusion that is provided on the first cover member, protrudes toward the sealing member relative to the second cover member, and accommodates the wiring member and the elastic member inside.
[0009] According to this configuration, it is possible to prevent the second cover member from becoming complicated. [Effects of the Invention]
[0010] According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a waterproof structure for wiring members that can accommodate a plurality of wiring members with different diameters. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

[0014] Fig. 1 is a plan view of a part of a vehicle according to an embodiment, Fig. 2 is a perspective view of a part including a wiring member waterproof structure in a vehicle according to an embodiment, and Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line III-III in Fig. 1.
[0015] 1 to 3, a vehicle 1 includes a vehicle body 2, a wiring member 3, and a wiring member waterproof structure 4. The wiring member waterproof structure 4 is also referred to as a wiring member waterproof structural body.
[0016] The vehicle body 2 includes a floor panel 11, a lid 12, and a sealing member 13 (FIG. 3). The lid 12 is an example of a first vehicle body member, and the lid 12 is an example of a second vehicle body member. Note that the first vehicle body member and the second vehicle body member are not limited to those described above.
[0017] A fuel tank (not shown) is fixed to the underside of the floor panel 11. The floor panel 11 has an opening 11a aligned with the fuel tank in the vertical direction of the vehicle 1. Hereinafter, unless otherwise specified, the vertical direction refers to the vertical direction of the vehicle 1. The opening 11a is a through-hole that communicates with the inside and outside of the vehicle body 2.
[0018] The lid 12 is placed on the upper surface of the floor panel 11 to cover (block) the opening 11a. Specifically, the lid 12 is placed on the floor panel 11 via a sealing member 13 and is fixed to the floor panel 11 via the sealing member 13.
[0019] The seal member 13 shown in FIG. 3 is interposed between the floor panel 11 and the lid 12. The seal member 13 is overlapped on the peripheral portion (edge portion) of the opening 11a on the upper surface of the floor panel 11. The seal member 13 is formed in an endless shape surrounding the opening 11a. The seal member 13 is an elastic member having elasticity, such as butyl rubber. The seal member 13 seals (watertightly blocks water from entering) the gap between the floor panel 11 and the lid 12. The seal member 13 is fixed to the floor panel 11 and the lid 12 by, for example, adhesive bonding.
[0020] The wiring member 3 passes between the floor panel 11 and the lid 12 and through the opening 11a. The wiring member 3 electrically connects, for example, an outside-body device arranged outside the vehicle body 2 with an inside-body device arranged inside the vehicle body 2. The outside-body device is, for example, a pressure gauge 51 (FIG. 5) that measures the pressure of the fuel tank and a motor 52 (FIG. 5) that drives a fuel pump of the fuel tank. The inside-body device is a control device or the like. The wiring member 3 includes one or more wires 6 (FIG. 5). As an example, in this embodiment, the wiring member 3 includes a plurality of wires 6 that are bundled together.
[0021] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the wiring member waterproof structure 4 extends from the upper surface of the floor panel 11 between the floor panel 11 and the lid 12.
[0022] Fig. 4 is an exploded cross-sectional view of a portion including a wiring member waterproof structure in a vehicle according to an embodiment. Fig. 5 is an exploded perspective view of a portion including a wiring member waterproof structure in a vehicle according to an embodiment. Fig. 6 is a plan view of a portion including a wiring member waterproof structure in a vehicle according to an embodiment. Fig. 7 is a cross-sectional view taken along line VII-VII in Fig. 6.
[0023] 3 to 6, the wiring member waterproof structure 4 includes a cover 20, an elastic member 25 (FIGS. 3 and 4), and a seal portion 23. The cover 20 is also called a protector.
[0024] The cover 20 extends from the upper surface of the floor panel 11 between the floor panel 11 and the lid 12. The cover 20 accommodates the wiring member 3 therein. At least a portion of the cover 20 is provided between one of the floor panel 11 and the lid 12 (for example, the lid 12) and the seal member 13.
[0025] 5 and 6, the cover 20 has a first portion 20a, a second portion 20b, and a third portion 20c. The first portion 20a is superimposed on the upper surface of the floor panel 11 on the outside of the lid 12. At least a portion of the second portion 20b is located between the upper surface of the floor panel 11 and the lower surface of the lid 12. The third portion 20c is located between the lid 12 and the opening 11a.
[0026] The cover 20 is formed by combining a plurality of members. In this embodiment, the cover 20 has a lower cover member 21 and an upper cover member 22. The upper cover member 22 is positioned above the lower cover member 21. The lower cover member 21 and the upper cover member 22 are fixed (connected) to each other by a connecting member, a claw, or the like. At least a portion of the lower cover member 21 is overlapped on the floor panel 11. At least a portion of the upper cover member 22 is overlapped on the lid 12. The wiring member 3 is accommodated in the space between the lower cover member 21 and the upper cover member 22. The space between the lower cover member 21 and the upper cover member 22 is also referred to as an accommodation chamber. The upper cover member 22 is an example of a first cover member, and the lower cover member 21 is an example of a second cover member.
[0027] The lower cover member 21 and the upper cover member 22 each have a first portion 21a, 22a, a second portion 21b, 22b, and a third portion 21c, 22c. The first portions 21a, 22a are included in the first portion 21a of the cover 20. The second portions 21b, 22b are included in the second portion 20b of the cover 20. The third portions 21c, 22c are included in the third portion 20c of the cover 20. As shown in FIG. 2, the third portions 21c, 22c are connected by a fastener 41 (FIGS. 3 and 6) while being spaced apart from each other in the vertical direction. This allows the lower cover member 21 and the upper cover member 22 to sandwich and fix the wiring member 3. The fastener 41 is, for example, a strip-shaped sheet member. An example of the fastener 41 is vinyl tape, but is not limited to this. The fastener 41 is wrapped around the third portions 21c, 22c. By adjusting the winding state of the fastener 41, the distance between the third portions 21c and 22c can be adjusted.
[0028] 7, claw portions 21d are provided on the lower cover member 21. The claw portions 21d are hooked onto the edges of the opening 11a in the floor panel 11. The claw portions 21d can temporarily fasten the cover 20 (lower cover member 21) to the floor panel 11.
[0029] 3 and 4, the second portion 22b of the upper cover member 22 protrudes upward, i.e., toward the seal member 13, relative to the lower cover member 21. As an example, the second portion 22b has a mountain-like convex shape that narrows in width as it extends upward. The second portion 22b accommodates the wiring member 3 and the elastic member 25 therein. The second portion 22b is an example of a protruding portion.
[0030] The second portion 22b has a lower surface 22ba, a pair of inclined surfaces 22bb, and an apex 22bc. The lower surface 22ba faces downward. The pair of inclined surfaces 22bb extend upward from the edges of the lower surface 22ba in the width direction. The pair of inclined surfaces 22bb are inclined in the vertical direction so as to approach each other as they extend upward. The apex 22bc connects the upper ends of the pair of inclined surfaces 22bb. The apex 22bc is formed in an upwardly convex curve.
[0031] The second portion 22b is provided with a recess 22bd. The recess 22bd opens to the lower surface 22ba and is recessed upward. The wiring member 3 and the elastic member 25 are housed in the recess 22bd. The recess 22bd is also referred to as a housing chamber.
[0032] The elastic member 25 surrounds the wiring member 3 and is interposed between the cover 20 and the wiring member 3. The elastic member 25 is made of, for example, Eptsealer or rubber, and has elasticity. The elastic member 25 is formed in a strip shape and is wound around the outer periphery of the wiring member 3. The elastic member 25 is housed in the recess 22bd in a compressed state. The elastic member 25 is fixed to the wiring member 3 by, for example, adhesion. The elastic member 25 is also called a sealing member.
[0033] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the sealing portion 23 has a lower sheet member 26 and an upper sheet member 27. The lower sheet member 26 and the upper sheet member 27 are elastic members (sealing members) such as EPT sealer or rubber, and have elasticity. The lower sheet member 26 and the upper sheet member 27 are stacked vertically with the second portion 22b of the lower cover member 21 sandwiched between them. The portions of the lower sheet member 26 and the upper sheet member 27 outside the second portion 22b of the lower cover member 21 are sandwiched between the upper cover member 22 and the floor panel 11. The lower sheet member 26 and the upper sheet member 27 are, for example, provided in a state compressed vertically.
[0034] Fig. 8 is a plan view of the lower sheet member according to the embodiment. As shown in Fig. 8, the lower sheet member 26 is formed in a strip shape. The lower sheet member 26 has a notch 26a formed therein to avoid the claws of the lower cover member 21.
[0035] Fig. 9 is a plan view of the upper sheet member according to the embodiment. As shown in Fig. 9, the upper sheet member 27 is formed in a strip shape. For example, the upper sheet member 27 and the elastic member 25 may have the same shape.
[0036] As shown in FIG. 3, the wiring member waterproof structure 4 having the above configuration is interposed between the floor panel 11 and the seal member 13 to seal the floor panel 11 and the seal member 13 (to prevent water leakage).
[0037] As described above, the waterproof structure 4 for a wiring member of this embodiment is provided in a vehicle 1. The vehicle 1 includes a floor panel 11 (first vehicle body member), a lid 12 (second vehicle body member), a wiring member 3, and a sealing member 13. The floor panel 11 is provided with an opening 11a that communicates with the inside and outside of the vehicle body 2. The lid 12 is placed on the floor panel 11 and covers (blocks) the opening 11a. The wiring member 3 passes between the floor panel 11 and the lid 12 and also passes through the opening 11a. The sealing member 13 is interposed between the floor panel 11 and the lid 12. The waterproof structure 4 for a wiring member includes a cover 20 and an elastic member 25. The cover 20 is provided between the sealing member 13 and one of the floor panel 11 and the lid 12, and houses the wiring member 3 therein. The elastic member 25 surrounds the wiring member 3 and is interposed between the cover 20 and the wiring member 3.
[0038] According to this configuration, the elastic member 25 elastically deforms in accordance with the diameter of the wiring member 3, and can accommodate a plurality of wiring members 3 with different diameters. The larger the diameter of the wiring member 3, the larger the compression amount of the elastic member 25.
[0039] In a configuration without the elastic member 25, the cover 20 accommodates only one wiring member 3 having a specific diameter. In this case, a gap occurs between the cover 20 and the wiring member 3 when the wiring member 3 has a diameter smaller than the specific diameter. On the other hand, in a configuration without the elastic member 25 when the wiring member 3 has a diameter larger than the specific diameter, a gap occurs between the upper cover member 22 and the lower cover member 21. Furthermore, the upper cover member 22 pushes up the lid 12 via the seal member 13, which may create a gap between the floor panel 11 and the lid 12. In other words, a configuration without the elastic member 25 cannot accommodate multiple wiring members 3 having different diameters. In contrast, in this embodiment, as described above, the elastic member 25 elastically deforms in accordance with the diameter of the wiring member 3, thereby preventing the above-described problem from occurring. Therefore, since only one cover 20 is required for multiple wiring members 3 having different diameters, the number of types of covers 20 can be reduced.
[0040] Moreover, cover 20 has an upper cover member 22 (first cover member), a lower cover member 21 (second cover member), and a second portion 22b (protruding portion). Upper cover member 22 is placed on one of floor panel 11 and lid 12. Lower cover member 21 is placed on the other of floor panel 11 and lid 12. Second portion 22b is provided on upper cover member 22, protrudes toward seal member 13 relative to lower cover member 21, and houses wiring member 3 and elastic member 25 therein.
[0041] With this configuration, the second cover 20 member can be prevented from becoming complicated.
[0042] Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described, the above embodiments are presented as examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. The above embodiments can be implemented in various other forms, and various omissions, substitutions, modifications, and combinations can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. The above embodiments and their modifications are included within the scope and spirit of the invention, and are also included in the inventions described in the claims and their equivalents.
