This relates to powdered cosmetics containing [a specific ingredient]. [Effects of the Invention]
[0007] The powder cosmetic of the present invention is smooth when applied to the skin, adheres well to the skin, has a moist feel, leaves no white cast, improves skin tone, reduces the appearance of uneven skin texture, and provides an even finish. [Modes for carrying out the invention]
[0008] The component (A) used in the present invention is an extender pigment selected from sericite, talc, synthetic mica, mica, and boron nitride, coated with a silicone elastomer. Examples of silicone elastomers for coating extender pigments include cross-linked polyether-modified silicones and cross-linked polyglycerin-modified silicones. Crosslinked polyether-modified silicones are three-dimensional crosslinked products in which organopolysiloxane chains are crosslinked with polyethers. Examples of polyethers include polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene. Specific examples of crosslinked polyether-modified silicones include (dimethicone / (PEG-10 / 15)) crosspolymers, alkyl-comodified (PEG-15 / lauryl dimethicone) crosspolymers, and (PEG-10 / lauryl dimethicone) crosspolymers. Commercially available products include KSG-210, KSG-240, KSG-310, KSG-320, KSG-330, and KSG-340 (all manufactured by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.), which are swelled with silicone oil, hydrocarbon oil, ester oil, etc.
[0009] Crosslinked polyglycerin-modified silicones are three-dimensional crosslinked products in which organopolysiloxane chains are crosslinked with polyglycerin. Specific examples include (dimethicone / polyglycerin-3) crosspolymers and alkyl-comodified (lauryl dimethicone / polyglycerin-3) crosspolymers. Commercially available products include KSG-710, KSG-810, KSG-820, KSG-830, and KSG-840 (all manufactured by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.), which are swelled with silicone oil, hydrocarbon oil, ester oil, etc. In the present invention, as the silicone elastomer used to coat the extender pigment of component (A), a cross-linked polyether-modified silicone is preferred from the viewpoint of providing a smooth feel when applied to the skin, excellent adhesion to the skin, a moist feel, and a uniform finish.
[0010] On the other hand, the extender pigment is selected from sericite, talc, synthetic mica, mica, and boron nitride. Plate-shaped extender pigments are preferred because they provide a smooth feel when applied to the skin, excellent adhesion to the skin, a moist texture, and a uniform finish. One method for treating an extender pigment with a silicone elastomer is to surface-treat the extender pigment with a silicone elastomer dispersed in a dispersion medium containing water. This can be done, for example, according to the method described in Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2013-139400. The amount of silicone elastomer used (coating amount) is preferably 0.1 to 20 parts by mass, and more preferably 1 to 10 parts by mass, per 100 parts by mass of extender pigment, from the viewpoint of obtaining a smooth, excellent adherence to the skin, a moist feel, and a uniform finish when applied to the skin.
[0011] The extender pigment coated with the silicone elastomer of component (A) obtained in this way preferably has an average particle size of 1 to 100 μm, more preferably 1 to 50 μm, even more preferably 2 to 30 μm, and even more preferably 3 to 20 μm, from the viewpoint of obtaining a smooth and uniform finish when applied to the skin. Furthermore, the aspect ratio of the extender pigment coated with the silicone elastomer of component (A) is preferably 2 to 120, more preferably 4 to 100, even more preferably 20 to 90, and even more preferably 40 to 80, from the viewpoint of obtaining a smooth and uniform finish when applied to the skin. In this invention, the average particle size of the powder is measured using a laser diffraction particle size distribution analyzer (Laser Micron Sizer LMS-350, manufactured by Seishin Co., Ltd.). The average particle size is the volume-based average particle size and is defined as the 50% median diameter. The average particle thickness is measured using an electron microscope and is the sum of the measured values divided by the number of particles. The aspect ratio is the particle size divided by the average particle thickness.

Furthermore, the content of component (A) is preferably 40% by mass or more, more preferably 40 to 85% by mass, more preferably 44 to 80% by mass, and even more preferably 48 to 75% by mass, from the total composition.
[0013] The silicone elastomer of component (B) used in the present invention is a silicone and its derivative having a crosslinked structure obtained by monomer polymerization, and preferably a silicone and its derivative obtained by polymerizing or copolymerizing monomers selected from, for example, dimethicone, vinyl dimethicone, phenyl vinyl dimethicone, lauryl dimethicone, lauryl polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethicone, etc. Specific examples include (dimethicone / vinyl dimethicone) crosspolymer, (dimethicone / phenyl vinyl dimethicone) crosspolymer, and (dimethicone / lauryl dimethicone) crosspolymer. Commercially available products include KSG-16, KSG-18A, KSG-19, and KSG-43 (all manufactured by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.), which are swelled with silicone oil, ester oil, etc. Additionally, (dimethicone / (PEG-10 / 15)) crosspolymer, (PEG-15 / lauryl dimethicone) crosspolymer, (PEG-10 / lauryl dimethicone) crosspolymer, (dimethicone / polyglycerin-3) crosspolymer, (lauryl dimethicone / polyglycerin-3) crosspolymer, etc., which are used as coating materials for component (A), can also be used. As for component (B), a non-emulsified silicone elastomer is preferred from the viewpoint of being smooth when applied to the skin, having excellent adhesion to the skin, suppressing white cast in the finish, and providing a uniform finish, and a less branched type is more preferred, with (dimethicone / vinyl dimethicone) crosspolymer and (dimethicone / phenyl vinyl dimethicone) crosspolymer being even more preferred.

[0052] Examples 1-12, Comparative Example 1 Solid powder cosmetics (powder foundations) with the compositions shown in Table 1 were manufactured, and their moist feel after application, smoothness during application, adherence to the skin, absence of a white cast, skin tone-up effect, minimization of skin irregularities, and even finish were evaluated. The results are also shown in Table 1.
[0053] (Manufacturing method) Components (A) and (D) were placed in a Henschel mixer and mixed uniformly. Components (B), (C), and other components were then added and mixed further until uniform. The resulting mixture was pulverized in an atomizer, passed through a sieve, and molded into a metal dish to obtain each solid powder cosmetic (powder foundation).
[0054] (Evaluation method) Five expert evaluators applied each solid powder cosmetic (powder foundation) to the skin using a sponge and evaluated the following criteria: moisturizing feel after application, smoothness during application, adherence to the skin, lack of white cast, skin tone-up effect, concealment of skin imperfections, and even finish. The results are shown as the total scores from the five evaluators.
[0055] (1) Moisturizing feeling after application: 5; It's very moist. 4; It's moist. 3; It's slightly moist. 2; It's not very moist. 1; It's not moist.
[0056] (2) Smoothness when applied: 5; Very smooth texture. 4; Smooth texture. 3; Slightly smooth texture. 2; It doesn't have a very smooth texture. 1; It does not have a smooth texture.
[0057] (3) Feeling of closeness to the skin: 5; It adheres very well to the skin. 4. It adheres well to the skin. 3; It adheres to the skin relatively well. 2; It doesn't adhere very well to the skin. 1. It does not adhere well to the skin.
[0058] (4) No white cast on the finished product: 5; It leaves very little white cast. 4. White cast is not noticeable. 3; The white cast is not very noticeable. 2; A slight white cast is noticeable. 1; The white cast is noticeable.
[0059] (5) Skin tone-up effect: 5; It looks very bright. 4; It looks bright. 3; It appears slightly brighter. 2; It doesn't look very bright. 1; It's not bright enough to see clearly.
[0060] (6) Reduced visibility of skin irregularities: 5; Skin texture is less noticeable. 4; Skin texture is not very noticeable. 3; Skin irregularities are less noticeable. 2; Skin texture is noticeable. 1; The unevenness of the skin is quite noticeable.
[0061] (7) A uniform finish: 5; Very uniform finish. 4. Uniform finish. 3; A fairly uniform finish. 2; The finish is not very uniform. 1. The finish is not uniform.
[0062] [Table 1]
[0063] Examples 13-19 Solid powder cosmetics (powder foundations) with the compositions shown in Table 2 were manufactured in the same manner as in Examples 1 to 12.
