Abstract

This disclosure provides a heat exchanger that can efficiently cool the internal temperature of a refrigerator and save energy. [Solution] A refrigeration refrigerant cycle connected to the refrigeration heat exchanger and a refrigeration refrigerant cycle connected to the freezing heat exchanger can be switched by a three-way valve. The refrigeration heat exchanger and the refrigeration fan are housed inside a refrigeration duct at the rear of the refrigerator compartment. The refrigeration heat exchanger comprises refrigerant conducting members consisting of flat tubes formed in a meandering shape at intervals from each other, and air passages formed between adjacent flat tubes of the refrigerant conducting members through which air flows. Between adjacent flat tubes of the refrigerant conducting members, there are containers containing a cold storage material, arranged vertically and sealed with a cold storage material. The air passages and the cold storage material containers are arranged alternately between the meandering refrigerant conducting members.
