Abstract

The present invention relates to a lithium compound recovery composition and a battery processing method, wherein the battery processing method of the present invention includes the steps of preparing a battery containing lithium (Li) and aluminum (Al), crushing the battery as battery crushed material, and heat-treating the crushed battery crushed material at a high temperature, the high-temperature heat-treating step of heat-treating at a temperature range of 600 to 1,500°C, and in the step of preparing the battery, the lithium and aluminum in the battery satisfy the following formula 1. <Expression 4> 0.1 ≤ [Li] / [Al] ≤ 1.0 (In formula 4 above, [Li] and [Al] represent the weight ratio (wt%) of lithium and aluminum in the battery.)
