Abstract

To provide a cat claw grinder with improved durability. [Solution] The cat claw grinder 100 comprises a case 110 having a rectangular midsole and an outer peripheral wall 114 surrounding the midsole, and a rectangular parallelepiped polishing member 120 that fits inside the midsole and outer peripheral wall. The top surface 122 of the polishing member is configured as a polishing surface for wearing down and sharpening the cat's claws. When the bottom surface of the polishing member is in contact with the midsole, the top surface is positioned higher than the outer peripheral wall. As a result, because the polishing surface is positioned higher than the outer peripheral wall of the case, it is possible to prevent the outer peripheral wall of the case from wearing down before the polishing member.

Claims

1. A claw sharpener for cats, comprising: a case having a rectangular inner bottom and an outer peripheral wall surrounding the inner bottom; a polishing member in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped that fits inside the inner bottom and the inner side of the outer peripheral wall; and the upper surface of the polishing member is configured as a polishing surface for wearing down and sharpening a cat's claws; a claw sharpener for cats, wherein, when the bottom surface of the polishing member is in contact with the inner bottom, the upper surface is positioned above the outer peripheral wall.

2. The claw sharpener for cats according to claim 1, wherein the polishing member is configured by combining a plurality of blocks divided along a plane orthogonal to the upper surface, and each of the plurality of blocks can be mutually interchanged with other blocks.
