[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2020-178430 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] Shrink fitting requires a heating / cooling unit, which makes the assembly equipment larger. Press fitting requires separate mechanisms and separate locations for the annular alignment process of the split cores and the press fitting process, which makes the entire assembly equipment larger. Also, to ensure the holding torque performance of a rotating electric machine, it is necessary to grasp the press fitting force according to the design value, but with shrink fitting or forceful press fitting, it is difficult to grasp the press fitting force. An object of the embodiments of the present invention is to provide an assembly apparatus and a manufacturing method for a stator that can be made compact. [Means for solving the problem]

[0005] According to an embodiment, an assembly apparatus includes a support table, a mounting table provided on the support table on which an annular iron core having multiple split iron cores arranged in a ring shape is placed, a pressing mechanism provided on the support table for radially pressing the outer and inner surfaces of the annular iron core, a detector for measuring the outer diameter of the annular iron core pressed by the pressing mechanism, and a pressing mechanism for pressing a cylindrical container into the annular iron core placed on the mounting table. The pressing mechanism includes a plurality of outer pushers disposed on the support table and movable in a radial direction relative to the central axis of the support table, the outer pushers having outer pressing portions that abut the outer peripheral surface of the annular iron core, a plurality of inner pushers disposed on the support table and movable in the radial direction, the inner pushers having inner pressing portions that abut the inner peripheral surface of the annular iron core, and a pressing cam member disposed along the central axis, the first cam surface pressing the outer pushers toward the outer peripheral surface, and a second cam surface pressing the inner pushers toward the inner peripheral surface. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0007] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In addition, the disclosure is merely an example, and the invention is not limited to the contents described in the following embodiments. Modifications that a person skilled in the art can easily conceive are naturally included in the scope of the disclosure. In order to make the explanation clearer, the size, shape, etc. of each part may be changed from the actual embodiment and shown diagrammatically.

[0008] First, an example of a stator assembled by the assembly device according to the present embodiment will be described. Fig. 1 is an exploded perspective view showing the example of the stator. As shown in Fig. 1, the stator 1 includes an annular core 10, a plurality of coils 17, electrode terminals 15, and a cylindrical container 20 fitted onto the outer periphery of the annular core 10. The annular core 10 is configured by arranging a plurality of, for example, 24, split core portions 10A in a ring shape. That is, the annular core 10 is configured by connecting adjacent split core portions 10A to each other. Each split core portion 10A is configured by a split core 11 formed by laminating magnetic electromagnetic steel sheets and insulating winding holders (a first winding holder 12 and a second winding holder 13) attached to the split core 11.

[0009] The coil 17 is wound around the split core portion 10A in a concentrated winding configuration, that is, one coil 17 is wound around one split core portion 10A. The electrode terminals 15 are input terminals for current input from an external power source to the coils 17. The electrode terminals 15 include a U-phase electrode terminal 15U connected to the eight U-phase coils 17, a V-phase electrode terminal 15V connected to the eight V-phase coils 17, and a W-phase electrode terminal 15W connected to the eight W-phase coils 17.

[0010] The container 20 is fitted onto the outer peripheral surface of the annular core 10 and supports the annular core 10 from the radial outside. The annular core 10 is inserted into the container 20 and the outer peripheral surface of the annular core 10 is fitted onto the inner peripheral surface 20a of the container 20. The container 20 has a plurality of (e.g., four) fixing portions 20b each protruding from the outer periphery, and these fixing portions 20b are provided at approximately equal intervals in the circumferential direction. Each fixing portion 20b is fixed to a holding member (not shown) using, for example, a bolt or the like.

[0011] The configuration of split core portion 10A will be described below. Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing one split core portion with coil 17 attached, and Fig. 3 is an exploded perspective view showing the core and winding holder of the split core portion. As shown in the figure, the split core portion 10A has a split core 11 and a winding holder attached to the split core 11, and a coil 17 is wound around and held by the winding holder. The winding holder is composed of a first winding holder 12 having insulation attached to one axial side of the split core 11 and a second winding holder 13 having insulation attached to the other axial side of the split core 11. The first winding holder 12 integrally has a mounting portion 12B around which the coil 17 is wound and a guide portion 12C that guides a busbar ring or a connecting wire. Similarly, the second winding holder 13 integrally has a mounting portion 13B around which the coil 17 is wound and a guide portion 13C that guides a busbar ring or a connecting wire. The coil 17 is wound around the teeth of the split core 11 via the first and second winding holders 12 and 13.

[0012] As shown in FIG. 3, the split core 11 is composed of a laminated body in which a plurality of magnetic electromagnetic steel sheets 11S are stacked in the axial direction. The electromagnetic steel sheets 11S adjacent in the axial direction Z are connected to each other by welding their outer circumferential surfaces. The split core 11 has a yoke 11P formed in an arc shape and teeth 11Q of a substantially rectangular shape extending radially inward from the inner periphery of the yoke 11P, and the yoke 11P and teeth 11Q extend in the axial direction of the split core 11. The yoke 11P has an arc-shaped outer periphery edge (outer periphery surface) and an arc-shaped inner periphery edge (inner periphery surface), and a pair of side edges (side surfaces) that extend radially and face each other in the circumferential direction. The teeth 11Q have a pair of side edges (side surfaces) that face each other with a width narrower than the circumferential width of the yoke 11P, and a tip edge (tip surface) that connects one end of the side edges to each other. In one example, each of the teeth 11Q has a pair of integral projections 11R that protrude circumferentially from a tip end and extend axially.

[0013] The core segments 11 have a flat end face 11a located at one end in the axial direction Z and a flat other end face 11b located at the other end in the axial direction Z. The yoke 11P has an outer peripheral surface 11c, one side face 11j, the other side face 11k, and an inner peripheral surface 11m. A protrusion 11g extending in the axial direction Z is formed on the one side face 11j, and a recess 11h extending in the axial direction Z is formed on the other side face 11k. When multiple core segments 11 are arranged side by side in the circumferential direction, the protrusion 11g of the yoke 11P fits into the recess 11h of the adjacent yoke 11P, so that adjacent core segments 11 can be connected to each other.

[0014] First winding holder 12 is attached to split core 11 from one end surface 11a side of split core 11, and is arranged overlapping yoke portion 11P and teeth 11Q. Second winding holder 13 is attached to split core 11 from the other end surface 11b side of split core 11, and is arranged overlapping yoke portion 11P and teeth 11Q.

[0015] The 24 split core portions 10A described above are arranged in a ring shape, the convex portions 11g of one split core 11 are fitted into the concave portions 11h of another adjacent split core 11, and the adjacent split cores 11 are connected to each other to form the ring-shaped annular core 10 shown in Figure 1.

[0016] Next, an assembly device according to an embodiment will be described. 4 is a perspective view showing an assembly device according to an embodiment. As shown in the figure, the assembly device includes a base 100, a support table 14 provided on the base 100, a mounting stand 70 provided on the support table 14 and on which an annular iron core having a plurality of divided iron cores arranged in an annular shape is mounted, a pressing mechanism 40 provided on the support table 14 and pressing the outer and inner peripheral surfaces of the annular iron core in the radial direction, detectors SE1 and SE2 provided on the base 100 and measuring the outer diameter of the annular iron core, a press-fitting mechanism 81 (described later) that presses a cylindrical container 20 into the annular iron core mounted on the mounting stand 70, and a controller (not shown) that controls the operation of each mechanism.

[0017] In this embodiment, the support table 14 is supported on the base 100 so as to be rotatable about the central axis C. An annular mounting stand 70 is provided in the center of the support table 14 and is positioned coaxially with the central axis C. The mounting stand 70 has an annular mounting surface 71 located at a predetermined height relative to the upper surface of the support table 14, and a number of support pins 72 erected on the outer periphery of the mounting surface 71. The multiple support pins 72 are aligned at intervals in the circumferential direction centered on the central axis C. The annular core 10, which will be described later, is mounted on the mounting stand 70 with each divided core portion 10A mounted on the support pins 72.

[0018] The pressing mechanism 40 has a pivot CS that is erected on the support table 14 and positioned concentrically with the central axis C, a plurality of outer pushers 30 that are provided on the support table 14 radially outside the mounting base 70, a plurality of inner pushers 50 that are provided on the inner side of the mounting base 70, and a pressing cam member 60 (described later) that is supported movably along the pivot axis CS and presses the plurality of outer pushers 30 and the plurality of inner pushers 50 toward the annular iron core 10.

[0019] In one example, the pressing mechanism 40 has 24 outer pushers 30, the same number as the divided core portions 10A. The 24 outer pushers 30 are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction, and each outer pusher 30 is provided on the support table 14 so as to be movable in the radial direction (diameter direction) with respect to the central axis C. The pressing mechanism 40 has 24 inner pushers 50, the same number as the divided core portions 10A. The 24 inner pushers 50 are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction, and each inner pusher 50 is provided on a mounting table 70 so as to be movable in the radial direction (diameter direction) with respect to the central axis C.

[0020] Two support posts P1 and P2 are erected on a base 100 outside the support table 14. The support posts P1 and P2 are arranged 180 degrees apart in the circumferential direction around the central axis C. In this embodiment, at least two detectors, a detector SE1 and a detector SE2, are provided. The detector SE1 is supported by a support post P1. A first stage ST1 is provided on the support post P1. The first stage ST1 is supported by the support post P1 so as to be movable up and down in an axial direction Z parallel to the central axis C. A second stage ST2 is provided on the first stage ST1. The second stage ST2 is supported by the first stage ST1 so as to be movable in a radial direction with respect to the central axis C. The detector SE1 has a main body 16a fixed to the second stage ST2 and a contact 16b extending from the main body 16a in a radial direction toward the central axis C. By driving the second stage ST2 by a driving mechanism such as a hydraulic cylinder (not shown), the detector SE1 can move in the radial direction between a measurement position where the extended end of the contact 16b abuts against the outer circumferential surface of the annular iron core 10 and a retracted position where the detector SE1 retracts to the outside of the outer pusher 30. In addition, by driving the first stage ST1 by a driving mechanism such as a hydraulic cylinder (not shown), the detector SE1 can move up and down in the axial direction Z. The detector SE2 has a body 16a and contacts 16b extending radially from the body 16a toward the central axis C. The body 16a is supported by a support post P2 via a second stage ST2 and a first stage ST1. This allows the detector SE2 to move radially between a measurement position where the extending ends of the contacts 16b abut against the outer peripheral surface of the annular core 10 and a retracted position where the detector SE2 retracts to the outside of the outer pusher 30, and is supported so as to be movable up and down in the axial direction Z.

[0021] The pressing mechanism 40 will now be described in detail. FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing an outer pusher and an inner pusher of the pressing mechanism 40, FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the assembly device including a cross section of the assembly device, and FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view of the assembly device. As shown in FIG. 5, each outer pusher 30 has a slider 32 that is installed on the support table 14 so as to be movable in the radial direction, and a plate-shaped outer pressing block 34 that is fixed to the slider 32. The slider 32 can be moved back and forth in the radial direction by a driving mechanism such as a hydraulic cylinder (not shown). The outer pressing block 34 is erected in the axial direction Z and extends in the radial direction. The outer pressing block 34 has an outer pressing part 35 that extends in the axial direction Z and can abut against the outer circumferential surface of the annular iron core 10. The outer pressing block 34 has an extension arm 36 that penetrates the mounting table 70 and extends to the vicinity of the pivot CS. A first receiving surface S1 is formed at the extending end of the extension arm 36. The first receiving surface S1 faces radially outward and is inclined from the radially inner side toward the radially outer side with respect to the axial direction Z.

[0022] The inner pusher 50 has an inner pressing block 52. The inner pressing block is supported on an annular guide base 74 attached to the inner periphery of the mounting base 70. In one example, the inner pressing block 52 is formed in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape. The inner pressing block 52 is erected on the guide base 74 in the axial direction Z and arranged in the radial direction. The guide base 74 is formed with 24 guide grooves 74a each extending in the radial direction. These guide grooves 74a are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. The lower end of the inner pressing block 52 is engaged with the guide grooves 74a. As a result, the inner pressing block 52 is supported so as to be movable in the radial direction along the guide grooves 74a. The inner pressing block 52 has two integral inner pressing portions 55 each protruding radially outward from the outer surface on the outer circumferential side. The inner pressing portions 55 are positioned apart from each other in the axial direction Z. A plurality of, for example, two urging members (e.g., coil springs) 56 are provided on the outer surface between the two inner pressing portions 55.

[0023] The inner surface on the inner circumferential side of the inner pressing block 52 includes a second receiving surface S2 inclined with respect to the axial direction Z. The second receiving surface S2 faces radially inward and is inclined radially inward from the upper end to the lower end. A plurality of support posts 76 are erected on the guide base 74 and extend in the axial direction Z. The support posts 76 are provided at intervals in the circumferential direction, and are each located between two adjacent inner pressing blocks 52.

[0024] As shown in Figs. 6 and 7, a disk-shaped cover plate 78 is arranged on top of the multiple inner pressing blocks 52. The cover plate 78 is screwed to a support post 76 and supported coaxially with the central axis C. Twenty-four guide grooves 78a extending in radial directions are formed on the outer periphery of the inner surface (lower surface) of the cover plate 78. These guide grooves 78a are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. The upper end of the inner pressing block 52 is engaged with the guide grooves 78a. As a result, the inner pressing block 52 is supported so as to be movable in the radial direction along the guide grooves 78a.

[0025] A pressing plate 80 is provided facing the outer surface of each inner pressing block 52. The pressing plate 80 is formed in a rectangular plate shape extending in the axial direction Z, with its upper end fixed to the outer circumferential surface of the cover plate 78 and its lower end fixed to the outer circumferential surface of the guide base 74. The pressing plate 80 has two openings spaced apart in the axial direction Z. The two inner pressing portions 55 of the inner pressing block 52 protrude to the outer circumferential side of the pressing plate 80 through the openings in the pressing plate 80. The aforementioned biasing member 56 is located between the inner pressing block 52 and the pressing plate 80, and biases the inner pressing block 52 radially inward.

[0026] The pivot CS has a flange portion 82 integrally formed at its lower end, and is erected concentrically with the central axis C by screwing this flange portion to the support table 14. The pivot CS passes through an opening in the cover plate 78 and extends above the cover plate 78. A thread is cut into the extension of the pivot CS protruding from the cover plate 78, and a nut-shaped operation knob 84 is screwed into it. In this embodiment, the operation knob 84 is configured to be screwed into the pivot CS above the cover plate 78, but this is not limited thereto, and the operation knob 84 may be configured to be screwed into the pivot CS extended below the support table 14 (and / or the base 100). Also, instead of providing the operation knob 84, a servo motor or the like may be provided to rotate the pivot CS extended above the cover plate 78 (or below the support table 14). The extension arm 36 of the outer pressing block 34 described above extends radially through the mounting table 70. The extension end of the extension arm 36 extends in the axial direction Z, and a first receiving surface S1 is formed on this extension end. The first receiving surface S1 faces radially outward and is inclined radially outward with respect to the axial direction Z from the upper end to the lower end of the axial direction Z.

[0027] The pressing cam member 60 of the pressing mechanism 40 is supported on the pivot CS so as to be movable in the axial direction Z, and is disposed between the support table 14 and the cover plate 78. In this embodiment, the pressing cam member 60 is provided radially inward of each of the outer pushers 30 (each of the outer pressing blocks 34) and each of the inner pushers 50 (each of the inner pressing blocks 52). The pressing cam member 60 is configured by combining a first cam 60a having a truncated cone shape with a second cam 60b having a disk-shaped main body and a cylindrical portion extending from the main body. The first cam 60a has a central hole through which the pivot CS is inserted, an upper surface facing the inner surface of the cover plate 78, and a tapered surface constituting the second cam surface C2. The second cam surface C2 is a tapered surface coaxial with the central axis C that tapers from the upper end to the lower end, i.e., an inclined surface that inclines radially inward from the upper end to the lower end, and is adjacent to and faces the second receiving surfaces S2 of the 24 inner pressing blocks 52.

[0028] The body 61 of the second cam 60b has a central hole through which the pivot CS is inserted, is fitted into the recess of the first cam 60a, and is connected to the first cam 60a with a bolt. The cylindrical portion 62 of the second cam 60b extends from the body 61 to the vicinity of the extension arm 36 of the outer pressing block 34, and is positioned coaxially with the pivot CS. A first cam surface C1 consisting of a tapered surface is formed on the inner surface of the extension end of the cylindrical portion 62. The first cam surface C1 is a tapered surface coaxial with the central axis C that tapers from the lower end to the upper end, that is, an inclined surface that inclines radially inward from the lower end to the upper end, and is positioned radially outward of the first receiving surfaces S1 of the 24 outer pressing blocks 34, and is adjacent to and faces the first receiving surfaces S1. The pressing cam member 60 is not limited to a combination of separate cams, but may be formed as an integral unit.

[0029] The upper surface of the pressing cam member 60 abuts against the operation knob 84 via a washer or the like. A biasing member 66 is disposed on the outer periphery of the pivot shaft CS between the pressing cam member 60 and a flange 82 of the pivot shaft CS. In one example, the biasing member 66 is a coil spring, one end of which abuts against the pressing cam member 60 and the other end of which abuts against the flange 82. The biasing member 66 biases the pressing cam member 60 towards the cover plate 78.

[0030] In the pressing mechanism 40 configured as described above, when the operation knob 84 is turned to press the upper surface of the pressing cam member 60 with the operation knob 84, the pressing cam member 60 is lowered from the initial position shown in the figure (the position where the upper surface contacts the inner surface of the cover plate 78) toward the support table 14, as shown by the arrow in Fig. 7. Accordingly, the second cam surface C2 of the pressing cam member 60 abuts against the second receiving surfaces S2 of the 24 inner pressing blocks 52, pressing the 24 inner pressing blocks 52 radially outward. As a result, the pair of inner pressing parts 55 of the inner pressing block 52 abuts against the inner peripheral surface of the annular core 10 placed on the placement table 70, pressing the inner peripheral surface radially outward. At the same time, the first cam surface C1 of the pressing cam member 60 comes into contact with the first receiving surfaces S1 of the 24 outer pressing blocks 34, pressing the 24 outer pressing blocks 34 radially inward. This causes the outer pressing portions 35 of the outer pressing blocks 34 to come into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the annular core 10, pressing the outer peripheral surface radially inward. Through the above operations, the pressing mechanism 4 simultaneously presses the inner and outer circumferential surfaces of the annular core 10 in the radial direction, firmly connecting the split core parts of the annular core to one another, i.e., the annular core can be fully assembled. At this time, the annular core 10 is arranged so that the circularity is equal to or less than the circularity that is predetermined by the machining accuracy of the first cam surface C1 and the second cam surface C2 of the pressing cam member 60.

[0031] To release the pressure, the operation knob 84 is loosened to release the pressure on the pressure cam member 60. Then, the pressure cam member 60 is urged by the urging member 66 to rise and return to the initial position. Accordingly, the second cam surface C2 of the pressure cam member 60 rises along the second receiving surface S2 of the inner pressing block 52, releasing the pressure on the inner pressing block 52. At the same time, the first cam surface C1 of the pressure cam member 60 rises along the first receiving surface S1 of the outer pressing block 34, releasing the pressure on the outer pressing block 34. The inner pressing block 52, from which the pressure has been released, is urged radially inward by the urging member 56 and moved to a position spaced apart from the inner peripheral surface of the annular core. The outer pressing block 34, from which the pressure has been released, is moved to a position spaced apart from the outer peripheral surface of the annular core by sliding the slider 32 radially by a drive mechanism (not shown).

[0032] Next, the press-fitting mechanism of the assembly device will be described. FIG. 9 is a side view of the assembly device, which shows a schematic representation of the press-fitting mechanism, and FIG. 10 is a perspective view of the assembly device, which shows a schematic representation of the press-fitting mechanism. As shown in the figure, the assembly device includes a press-fit mechanism 81. The press-fit mechanism 81 includes a support 83 erected on a base 100 or in the vicinity of the base 100, an adjustment arm 85 supported on the support 83 so as to be rotatable and movable up and down, a pressurizing device (pressurizing section) 86 supported on the adjustment arm 85, a pressure sensor 87 that detects the pressurizing force (pressure input) of the pressurizing device 86, and a holder 88 connected to the pressurizing device 86. The holder 88 holds the container 20 in a state of contact with one end of the container 20.

[0033] Next, a manufacturing method for assembling the stator using the assembling apparatus configured as above will be described. Fig. 11 is a flow chart showing an example of an assembly process. An example of a manufacturing method will be described with reference to Fig. 11 and other drawings. As shown in Fig. 11, first, a plurality of split core parts 10A are arranged in a ring shape to temporarily assemble a cylindrical annular core 10 (S1). Next, the temporarily assembled annular core 10 is set in an assembly device (S2). In this case, as shown in Fig. 7, the split core parts 10A constituting the annular core 10 are set so as to be placed on the support pins 72 of the mounting table 70, and the annular core 10 is positioned substantially coaxially with the central axis C. In the set state, the upper end surface of the annular core 10 is spaced above the outer pressing parts 35 of each outer pressing block 34 in the axial direction Z. As a result, the upper end of the outer peripheral surface of the annular core 10 is exposed to the outside in the radial direction without facing the outer pressing parts 35. In this embodiment, as shown in Figure 8, the annular core 10 is set so that the boundary portion between adjacent split core portions 10A on the outer peripheral surface of the annular core 10 faces the outer pressing portion 35 of the outer pressing block 34, and so that approximately the circumferential center portion of each split core portion 10A on the inner peripheral surface of the annular core 10 faces the inner pressing portion 55 of the inner pressing block 52.

[0034] After the annular core 10 is set, as shown in Fig. 7, the operation knob 84 is tightened to lower the pressing cam member 60, which presses the 24 inner pressing blocks 52 toward the inner peripheral surface of the annular core 10 and, at the same time, presses the 24 outer pressing blocks 34 toward the outer peripheral surface of the annular core 10. As shown in Fig. 8, the outer peripheral surface of the annular core 10 is pressed by the outer pressing portions of the 24 outer pressing blocks 23, and at the same time, the inner pressing portions 55 of the 24 inner pressing blocks 52 press the inner peripheral surface of the annular core 10, thereby positioning the 24 split core portions 10A in predetermined positions and firmly connecting them to each other, thereby finally assembling the annular core 10 (S3). In this embodiment, the operation knob 84 for lowering the pressing cam member 60 is screwed into the pivot CS above the cover plate 78 (upper side in FIG. 7), but as described above, the operation knob 84 may be provided on the pivot CS extending below the support table 14 (and / or the base 100). Also, instead of providing the operation knob 84, a servo motor or the like may be provided to rotate the pivot CS extending above the cover plate 78 (or below the support table 14).

[0035] 9, while the annular core 10 is pressed, the contacts 16b of the detectors SE1 and SE2 are moved to a measurement position where they come into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the annular core 10, and the outer diameter of the annular core 10 is measured by the detectors SE1 and SE2 (S4). The outer diameter is measured at a plurality of locations, for example, 12 locations. After each location is measured, the support table 14 is rotated by a predetermined angle, and the outer diameter is measured at the next measurement location. When the support table 14 is rotated, the contacts 16b of the detectors SE1 and SE2 are retracted to a retracted position and separated from the outer peripheral surface of the annular core 10. The measured value is stored in the controller.

[0036] Based on the measurement results, the controller calculates an estimated outer diameter value of the annular core 10. The controller selects a container 20 having an inner diameter corresponding to the calculated estimated outer diameter value from a plurality of containers 20 having different inner diameters that are prepared in advance (S5). Since the outer dimensions of the split cores vary due to mold variations and the like, a certain degree of variation α also occurs in the outer diameter of the annular core 10. Therefore, based on the estimated outer diameter of the measured annular core 10, a container 20 having an inner diameter that matches the preset range β of the tightening margin is selected. If the machining accuracy of the inner diameter of the container 20 is considered to be about ±b, then a plurality of containers 20 each having a different inner diameter, which is about b, are prepared. In this case, if the external shape precision of the annular core 10 is a, the number X of containers to be prepared can be determined by rounding up the value obtained by the following derivation formula, for example. α÷{β-2(a+b)}

[0037] Next, as shown in FIG. 9, the selected container 20 is attached and held in the holder 88 of the press-fitting mechanism 81, and then the adjustment arm 85 is raised and lowered and rotated to adjust the position of the container 20 and the pressurizing device 86 so that the central axis of the container 20 coincides with the central axis C of the assembly device. 9 and 10, while maintaining the pressure on the annular core 10 and with the contacts 16b of the detectors SE1 and SE2 retracted to their retracted positions, the container 20 and holder 88 are pressed toward the annular core 10 by the pressure device 86, and the container 20 is pressed onto the outer periphery of the upper end of the annular core 10 (S6). At this time, the pressure on the annular core 10 by the outer pressing block 23 and the inner pressing block 52 is maintained, and the arrangement at the time of positioning the annular core 10 in step S3 and the outer diameter at the time of measurement by the detectors SE1 and SE2 in step S4 are maintained.

[0038] Next, the pressing of the annular core 10 by the pressing mechanism 40 is released, i.e., the outer pressing block 34 is retracted to a position away from the outer circumferential surface of the annular core 10, the inner pressing block 52 is retracted to a position away from the inner circumferential surface of the annular core 10, and then the container 20 is further pressed into the annular core 10 to a predetermined position by the pressurizing device 86 (S7). In this way, the container 20 is pressed into the annular core 10 while maintaining the outer diameter as it was when it was positioned by pressing the annular core 10 in step S3 and as it was when it was measured by detectors SE1 and SE2 in step S4.

[0039] During the above-mentioned press-fitting process, press-fitting mechanism 81 measures the pressurizing force (pressing input) of pressurizing device 86 using pressure sensor 87, and stores the measured value in the controller. Based on the measured value of pressurizing force, the controller calculates the degree of fit between annular core 10 and container 20 (corresponding to the holding torque of container 20 that holds annular core 10). The controller compares the calculated holding torque with a desired design value, and determines whether the holding torque is within the range of the design value (S8). The assembly of the stator is completed through the above steps. The assembled stator 1 is then removed from the support table 14 and transferred to the next process.

[0040] According to the assembly apparatus and manufacturing method of this embodiment configured as described above, pressing of the annular core, measurement of its outer diameter, and press-fitting of the container can be performed with the annular core placed on the support table 14, eliminating the need to transport the annular core to another location for each process. As a result, according to this embodiment, it is possible to provide an assembly apparatus and manufacturing method for a stator that allows for miniaturization. According to this embodiment, the outer diameter of the annular core in a pressed state is measured, a container having an inner diameter suitable for the measured outer diameter is selected, and the container is press-fitted onto the outer periphery of the annular core in a pressed state, thereby making it possible to measure the appropriate press-fitting force during press-fitting and accurately grasp the holding torque of the container relative to the annular core. This makes it possible to obtain a stator that ensures the required holding torque performance. Furthermore, according to this embodiment, the container can be press-fitted while the annular core is reliably positioned so that the circularity is equal to or less than a predetermined circularity.

[0041] Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described, this embodiment is presented as an example and is not intended to limit the scope of the invention. The embodiment can be implemented in various other forms, and various omissions, substitutions, and modifications can be made without departing from the gist of the invention. These embodiments and modifications are included in the scope of the invention and its equivalents described in the claims, as well as in the scope and gist of the invention. For example, in the assembly device, the number of outer pushers and inner pushers to be installed is not limited to the number of the divided core parts, and can be increased or decreased as necessary. The pressing cam member of the pressing mechanism is not limited to an operation knob, and may be configured to be raised and lowered by other driving means. The support table is not limited to a rotating table, and may be configured so that the support table is fixed and the detector is movable in the circumferential direction. In this case, the support table may be omitted. The number of detectors is not limited to two, and may be three or more. [Explanation of symbols]
