Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a powder recovery device and a fibrous material processing device. [Background technology]

[0002] Sheet manufacturing devices that recycle waste paper in a dry process are known. The sheet manufacturing device shown in Patent Document 1 includes a raw material supplying section that supplies waste paper, a defibrating section that defibrates the waste paper, a depositing section that deposits the defibrated material generated in the defibrating section on a mesh belt, and a forming section that forms the deposit generated in the depositing section. In the depositing section, the defibrated material is deposited on the mesh belt, and the deposit is generated by sucking the defibrated material on the mesh belt from the opposite side through the mesh belt. During this suction, short fiber powder, foreign matter, etc. can be sucked in. The sucked powder is collected by a collecting device.

[0003] In the recovery device described in Patent Document 1, the recovered powder is stored in a storage section by gravity falling, so the density of the powder in the storage section is low and the storage efficiency, ie, recovery efficiency, is poor.

[0004] Therefore, it is conceivable to combine a conveying / compressing mechanism as described in Patent Document 2. In Patent Document 2, the collected shredded pieces are fed by a screw and discharged into a shredded waste storage bag, and the shredded waste storage bag is compressed to increase the collection efficiency. [0005] [Patent Document 1] JP 2012-144819 A [Patent Document 2] JP 2009-61385 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0006] However, in the configuration of Patent Document 2, when the fine powder described in Patent Document 1 is transported and compressed, the powder sent by the screw tends to stay near the intake port of the shredded waste storage bag, making it difficult for the powder to be distributed evenly inside the shredded waste storage bag. In addition, the device configuration becomes complicated because it includes a compression mechanism. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] The powder recovery device of the present invention includes a powder storage section having an inlet for taking in powder containing fibers and an outlet for discharging the powder, a delivery screw having an elongated shape, provided in the powder storage section, rotating about a rotation axis to deliver the powder and discharge the powder from the discharge port; a powder recovery section connected to the discharge port and having an internal space for recovering the powder discharged from the discharge port; The end of the delivery screw on the discharge port side protrudes from the discharge port to the outside of the powder storage section and is located within the internal space.

[0008] The fibrous body treating apparatus of the present invention comprises: a defibration unit that defibrates a raw material containing fibers; a depositing unit that disperses the defibrated material produced in the defibrator unit into air and deposits the defibrated material by suction; and the powder recovery device of the present invention that recovers the powder containing the fibers sucked in by the deposition section. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0010] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, a powder recovery device and a fibrous material processing device of the present invention will be described in detail based on preferred embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings.

[0011] First Embodiment Fig. 1 is a schematic side view of a sheet manufacturing apparatus equipped with a first embodiment of the powder recovery device of the present invention. Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing the powder recovery device shown in Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing the tip of the delivery screw and its surrounding area shown in Fig. 2. Fig. 4 is a flow chart for explaining an example of a control operation executed by the control unit shown in Fig. 1.

[0012] For ease of explanation, the three mutually perpendicular axes are referred to as the x-axis, y-axis, and z-axis, as shown in Figures 1 and 2. The xy plane including the x-axis and y-axis is horizontal, and the z-axis is vertical. The direction in which the arrows of each axis point is called "+" and the opposite direction is called "-". The top side of Figure 1 is sometimes called "top" or "upper", and the bottom side is sometimes called "bottom" or "lower".

[0013] As shown in Fig. 1, the fibrous material processing device 100 is a device for regenerating a raw material M1 into a sheet S, and includes a raw material supply section 11, a coarse crushing section 12, a defibrating section 13, a sorting section 14, a first web forming section 15, a fine dividing section 16, a mixing section 17, a defibrating section 18, a second web forming section 19, a sheet forming section 20, a cutting section 21, a stock section 22, the powder recovery device 1 of the present invention, and a control section 28. Each of these sections is electrically connected to the control section 28, and the operation of each section is controlled by the control section 28. The control section 28 may be regarded as a component of the powder recovery device 1.

[0014] The fibrous material treating device 100 also includes a humidifier 231, a humidifier 232, a humidifier 233, a humidifier 234, a humidifier 235, and a humidifier 236. In addition, the fibrous material treating device 100 also includes a blower 261, a blower 262, and a blower 263.

[0015] In addition, in the fibrous body processing device 100, a raw material supply process, a coarse crushing process, a defibrating process, a sorting process, a first web forming process, a cutting process, a mixing process, a loosening process, a second web forming process, a sheet forming process, and a cutting process are carried out in this order.

[0016] The configuration of each part will be described below. The raw material supplying section 11 is a section that performs a raw material supplying step of supplying the raw material M1 to the crushing section 12. The raw material M1 is a sheet-like material made of a fiber-containing material including cellulose fibers. The cellulose fibers may be fibrous and contain cellulose as a compound as a main component, and may contain hemicellulose and lignin in addition to cellulose. The raw material M1 may be in any form, such as woven fabric or nonwoven fabric. The raw material M1 may be, for example, recycled paper produced by disintegrating waste paper and regenerating it, or synthetic paper such as Yupo paper (registered trademark), or it may not be recycled paper. In this embodiment, the raw material M1 is used or unnecessary waste paper.

[0017] The crushing unit 12 is a section that performs a crushing step of crushing the raw material M1 supplied from the raw material supply unit 11 in air such as the atmosphere. The crushing unit 12 has a pair of crushing blades 121 and a chute 122.

[0018] The pair of crushing blades 121 rotate in opposite directions to each other, and can crush, i.e., cut, the raw material M1 between them into crushed pieces M2. The shape and size of the crushed pieces M2 are preferably suitable for defibration processing in the defibration unit 13, and are preferably small pieces with a side length of 100 mm or less, and more preferably 10 mm or more and 70 mm or less.

[0019] The chute 122 is disposed below the pair of crushing blades 121 and has, for example, a funnel shape. This allows the chute 122 to receive the coarsely crushed pieces M2 that have been crushed by the crushing blades 121 and dropped.

[0020] Moreover, above the chute 122, a humidifying section 231 is disposed adjacent to the pair of coarse crushing blades 121. The humidifying section 231 humidifies the coarsely crushed pieces M2 in the chute 122. This humidifying section 231 is configured as an evaporative humidifier that has a moisture-containing filter and supplies humidified air with increased humidity to the coarsely crushed pieces M2 by passing air through the filter. By supplying humidified air to the coarsely crushed pieces M2, it is possible to prevent the coarsely crushed pieces M2 from adhering to the chute 122 and the like due to static electricity.

[0021] The chute 122 is connected to the defibrating unit 13 via a pipe 241. The coarse crushed pieces M2 collected in the chute 122 pass through the pipe 241 and are transported to the defibrating unit 13.

[0022] The defibrating unit 13 is a section that performs a defibrating process in which the coarsely crushed pieces M2 are defibrated in the air, i.e., in a dry manner. The defibrating process in this defibrating unit 13 makes it possible to generate a defibrated material M3 from the coarsely crushed pieces M2. Here, "defibrating" refers to untangling the coarsely crushed pieces M2, which are made up of multiple fibers bound together, into individual fibers. This untangled material becomes the defibrated material M3. The shape of the defibrated material M3 is linear or band-like. The defibrated material M3 may also be present in a state where it is entangled with other pieces to form a mass, that is, in a state where it forms so-called "lumps."

[0023] In this embodiment, for example, the defibrating unit 13 is configured with an impeller mill having a rotary blade that rotates at high speed and a liner located on the outer periphery of the rotary blade. The coarse fragments M2 that flow into the defibrating unit 13 are sandwiched between the rotary blade and the liner and defibrated.

[0024] Furthermore, the defibrating unit 13 can generate an air flow from the crushing unit 12 toward the sorting unit 14, i.e., an airflow, by the rotation of the rotary blades. This allows the coarsely crushed pieces M2 to be sucked into the defibrating unit 13 from the pipe 241. Furthermore, after the defibrating process, the defibrated material M3 can be sent to the sorting unit 14 via the pipe 242.

[0025] A blower 261 is installed in the middle of the pipe 242. The blower 261 is an airflow generating device that generates an airflow toward the screening section 14. This promotes the sending out of the defibrated material M3 to the screening section 14.

[0026] The sorting unit 14 is a section that performs a sorting process to sort the defibrated material M3 according to the length of the fibers. In the sorting unit 14, the defibrated material M3 is sorted into sorted material M4 and unnecessary material larger than the sorted material M4. The sorted material M4 has a size suitable for the subsequent production of the sheet S. It is preferable that the average length of the sorted material is 1 μm or more and 30 μm or less. On the other hand, the unnecessary material includes excessively short fibers that are not suitable for sheet production, and foreign matter such as coloring materials and dust.

[0027] The sorting unit 14 has a drum unit 141 and a housing unit 142 that houses the drum unit 141.

[0028] The drum part 141 is a sieve composed of a cylindrical mesh body and rotates around its central axis. The defibrated material M3 flows into this drum part 141. Then, as the drum part 141 rotates, defibrated material M3 smaller than the mesh opening is sorted as sorted material M4, and defibrated material M3 larger than the mesh opening is sorted as unnecessary material and discarded through a pipe not shown.

[0029] The selected material M4 falls from the drum unit 141, and disperses in the air as it falls toward the first web forming unit 15 located below the drum unit 141. The first web forming unit 15 is a unit that carries out a first web forming step of forming a first web M5 from the selected material M4. The first web forming unit 15 has a mesh belt 151, three tension rollers 152, and a suction unit 153.

[0030] The mesh belt 151 is an endless belt on which the material to be sorted M4 is accumulated. The mesh belt 151 is wound around three tension rollers 152. As the tension rollers 152 are rotated, the material to be sorted M4 on the mesh belt 151 is transported downstream.

[0031] The size of the selected material M4 is equal to or larger than the mesh size of the mesh belt 151. This restricts the passage of the selected material M4 through the mesh belt 151, and therefore the selected material M4 can be piled up on the mesh belt 151. The selected material M4 is transported downstream together with the mesh belt 151 while being piled up on the mesh belt 151, and is thus formed as a layered first web M5.

[0032] Further, the selected material M4 may contain, for example, short fibers, dust, dirt, etc. These will be sucked by the suction section 153 and collected by the powder collecting device 1 of the present invention.

[0033] The suction unit 153 is a suction mechanism that sucks air from below the mesh belt 151. This makes it possible to suck in dust and dirt that has passed through the mesh belt 151 together with the air.

[0034] The suction unit 153 is connected to the powder recovery device 1 via a pipe 244. The short fibers, dust, and dirt sucked by the suction unit 153 are collected by the powder recovery device 1. Hereinafter, the short fibers and foreign matter such as coloring materials sucked by the suction unit 153 are collectively referred to as "powder M9." The average length of the fibers in this powder M9 is about 5 μm or less.

[0035] A blower 262 is provided midway through the tube 244. By operating the blower 262, a suction force can be generated in the suction section 153. This promotes the formation of the first web M5 on the mesh belt 151. This first web M5 is one from which dust and dirt have been removed. Furthermore, by operating the blower 262, the powder M9 passes through the tube 244 and reaches the powder recovery device 1. The configuration of the powder recovery device 1 will be described in detail later.

[0036] The housing part 142 is connected to the humidifier part 232. The humidifier part 232 is configured with an evaporation type humidifier similar to the humidifier part 231. This allows humidified air to be supplied into the housing part 142. The sorted items M4 can be humidified by this humidified air, and therefore, the sorted items M4 can be prevented from adhering to the inner wall of the housing part 142 due to electrostatic force.

[0037] A humidifying section 235 is disposed downstream of the sorting section 14. The humidifying section 235 is configured with an ultrasonic humidifier that sprays water. This allows moisture to be supplied to the first web M5, and thus the moisture content of the first web M5 is adjusted. This adjustment makes it possible to suppress adhesion of the first web M5 to the mesh belt 151 due to electrostatic force. As a result, the first web M5 is easily peeled off from the mesh belt 151 at the position where the mesh belt 151 is folded back by the tension roller 152.

[0038] The screening unit 14 and first web forming unit 15 constitute a depositing unit that disperses the defibrated material M3 produced in the defibrated unit 13 into the air and deposits the defibrated material M3 by suction.

[0039] The segmentation unit 16 is disposed downstream of the humidification unit 235. The segmentation unit 16 is a section that performs a segmentation step of segmenting the first web M5 peeled off from the mesh belt 151. The segmentation unit 16 has a rotatably supported propeller 161 and a housing portion 162 that houses the propeller 161. The rotating propeller 161 can segment the first web M5. The segmented first web M5 becomes segmented bodies M6. The segmented bodies M6 move down inside the housing portion 162.

[0040] The housing part 162 is connected to the humidifier part 233. The humidifier part 233 is configured with an evaporation type humidifier similar to the humidifier part 231. This allows humidified air to be supplied into the housing part 162. This humidified air can also prevent the fragmented bodies M6 from adhering to the propeller 161 and the inner wall of the housing part 162 due to electrostatic force.

[0041] A mixing section 17 is disposed downstream of the subdivision section 16. The mixing section 17 is a section that performs a mixing step of mixing the fragmented bodies M6 and the binder P1. The mixing section 17 has a binder supply section 171, a pipe 172, and a blower 173.

[0042] The pipe 172 connects the housing portion 162 of the subdividing portion 16 and the housing portion 182 of the refining portion 18, and is a flow path through which the mixture M7 of the subdivided bodies M6 and the binder P1 passes.

[0043] A binder supply unit 171 is connected to the middle of the pipe 172. The binder supply unit 171 has a screw feeder 174. By driving and rotating this screw feeder 174, the binder P1 can be supplied as powder or particles to the pipe 172. The binder P1 supplied to the pipe 172 is mixed with the fragmented bodies M6 to become a mixture M7.

[0044] The binder P1 binds the fibers together in a later process, and examples of materials that can be used include thermoplastic resins, curable resins, starch, dextrin, glycogen, amylose, hyaluronic acid, kudzu, konjac, potato starch, etherified starch, esterified starch, natural gum pastes (etherified tamarind gum, etherified locust bean gum, etherified guar gum, acacia arabic gum), fiber-derived pastes (etherified carboxymethylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose), seaweed (sodium alginate, agar), animal proteins (collagen, gelatin, hydrolyzed collagen, sericin), etc., but it is preferable to use a thermoplastic resin. Examples of the thermoplastic resin include polyolefins such as AS resin, ABS resin, polyethylene, polypropylene, and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), modified polyolefins, acrylic resins such as polymethyl methacrylate, polyesters such as polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, polyethylene terephthalate, and polybutylene terephthalate, polyamides (nylons) such as nylon 6, nylon 46, nylon 66, nylon 610, nylon 612, nylon 11, nylon 12, nylon 6-12, and nylon 6-66, liquid crystal polymers such as polyphenylene ether, polyacetal, polyether, polyphenylene oxide, polyether ether ketone, polycarbonate, polyphenylene sulfide, thermoplastic polyimide, polyetherimide, and aromatic polyester, and various thermoplastic elastomers such as styrene-based, polyolefin-based, polyvinyl chloride-based, polyurethane-based, polyester-based, polyamide-based, polybutadiene-based, trans-polyisoprene-based, fluororubber-based, and chlorinated polyethylene-based. One or more types selected from these may be used in combination. Preferably, the thermoplastic resin used is polyester or a material containing polyester.

[0045] In addition to the binder P1, the binder supply unit 171 may supply, for example, a colorant for coloring the fibers, an aggregation inhibitor for inhibiting aggregation of the fibers or the binder P1, a flame retardant for making the fibers less flammable, a paper strength enhancer for enhancing the paper strength of the sheet S, and the like. Alternatively, these may be incorporated in advance into the binder P1 to form a composite, which is then supplied from the binder supply unit 171.

[0046] In addition, a blower 173 is installed in the middle of the pipe 172 downstream of the binder supply unit 171. The blower 173 has a rotating part such as a blade, which mixes the fragmented bodies M6 and the binder P1. The blower 173 can generate an airflow toward the loosening unit 18. This airflow can agitate the fragmented bodies M6 and the binder P1 in the pipe 172. This allows the mixture M7 to flow into the loosening unit 18 in a state in which the fragmented bodies M6 and the binder P1 are uniformly dispersed. In addition, the fragmented bodies M6 in the mixture M7 are loosened in the process of passing through the pipe 172, becoming finer fibrous.

[0047] The disentanglement unit 18 is a unit that performs a disentanglement step of disentangling entangled fibers in the mixture M7. The disentanglement unit 18 has a drum unit 181 and a housing unit 182 that houses the drum unit 181.

[0048] The drum section 181 is a sieve that is composed of a cylindrical mesh body and rotates around its central axis. The mixture M7 flows into the drum section 181. As the drum section 181 rotates, fibers and the like of the mixture M7 that are smaller than the mesh openings can pass through the drum section 181. At that time, the mixture M7 is loosened.

[0049] The housing part 182 is connected to the humidifier part 234. The humidifier part 234 is configured as an evaporation type humidifier similar to the humidifier part 231. This allows humidified air to be supplied into the housing part 182. The inside of the housing part 182 can be humidified by this humidified air, and therefore, it is also possible to prevent the mixture M7 from adhering to the inner wall of the housing part 182 due to electrostatic force.

[0050] Furthermore, the mixture M7 loosened by the drum section 181 falls while being dispersed in the air, and heads toward the second web forming section 19 located below the drum section 181. The second web forming section 19 is a section where a second web forming step is carried out to form a second web M8 from the mixture M7. The second web forming section 19 has a mesh belt 191, a tension roller 192, and a suction section 193.

[0051] The mesh belt 191 is an endless belt on which the mixture M7 is accumulated. The mesh belt 191 is wound around four tension rollers 192. The mixture M7 on the mesh belt 191 is transported downstream by the rotation of the tension rollers 192.

[0052] Moreover, most of the mixture M7 on the mesh belt 191 has a size equal to or larger than the mesh openings of the mesh belt 191. This prevents the mixture M7 from passing through the mesh belt 191, and therefore the mixture M7 can be accumulated on the mesh belt 191. Moreover, the mixture M7 is transported downstream together with the mesh belt 191 while being accumulated on the mesh belt 191, and is thus formed as a layered second web M8.

[0053] The suction unit 193 is a suction mechanism that sucks air from below the mesh belt 191. This allows the mixture M7 to be sucked onto the mesh belt 191, thereby facilitating the accumulation of the mixture M7 on the mesh belt 191.

[0054] A pipe 246 is connected to the suction unit 193. A blower 263 is provided midway through the pipe 246. By operating the blower 263, the suction unit 193 can generate a suction force.

[0055] A humidifying section 236 is disposed downstream of the refining section 18. The humidifying section 236 is configured with an ultrasonic humidifier similar to the humidifying section 235. This allows moisture to be supplied to the second web M8, and thus the moisture content of the second web M8 is adjusted. This adjustment makes it possible to suppress adhesion of the second web M8 to the mesh belt 191 due to electrostatic force. This allows the second web M8 to be easily peeled off from the mesh belt 191 at the position where the mesh belt 191 is folded back by the tension roller 192.

[0056] The total amount of moisture added from the humidifying units 231 to 236 is preferably, for example, 0.5 parts by mass to 20 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the material before humidification.

[0057] A sheet forming unit 20 is disposed downstream of the second web forming unit 19. The sheet forming unit 20 is a unit that performs a sheet forming step of forming a sheet S from the second web M8. The sheet forming unit 20 has a pressurizing unit 201 and a heating unit 202.

[0058] The pressurizing unit 201 has a pair of calender rollers 203, and can pressurize the second web M8 between the calender rollers 203 without heating it. This increases the density of the second web M8. When heating, the degree of heating is preferably, for example, such that the binder P1 is not melted. Then, the second web M8 is transported toward the heating unit 202. One of the pair of calender rollers 203 is a driven roller driven by the operation of a motor (not shown), and the other is a driven roller.

[0059] The heating section 202 has a pair of heating rollers 204, and can apply pressure to the second web M8 while heating it between the heating rollers 204. This heating and pressurization melts the binder P1 in the second web M8, and the fibers are bound to each other via the molten binder P1. This forms a sheet S. Then, this sheet S is transported toward the cutting section 21. Note that one of the pair of heating rollers 204 is a driven roller driven by the operation of a motor (not shown), and the other is a driven roller.

[0060] The cutting unit 21 is disposed downstream of the sheet forming unit 20. The cutting unit 21 is a section that performs a cutting step of cutting the sheet S. The cutting unit 21 has a first cutter 211 and a second cutter 212.

[0061] The first cutter 211 cuts the sheet S in a direction intersecting the conveying direction of the sheet S, particularly in a direction perpendicular to the conveying direction.

[0062] The second cutter 212 is downstream of the first cutter 211 and cuts the sheet S in a direction parallel to the conveying direction of the sheet S. This cutting is performed to remove unnecessary portions on both side edges of the sheet S, i.e., the edges in the +y-axis direction and the -y-axis direction, to adjust the width of the sheet S, and the cut and removed portions are so-called "selvages."

[0063] A sheet S having a desired shape and size is obtained by such cutting by the first cutter 211 and the second cutter 212. Then, this sheet S is conveyed further downstream and accumulated in the stock unit 22.

[0064] Each unit included in the fibrous material treating apparatus 100 is electrically connected to a control unit 28. The operation of each unit is controlled by the control unit 28.

[0065] The control unit 28 has a CPU (Central Processing Unit) 281 and a storage unit 282. The CPU 281 can perform, for example, various kinds of decisions and various kinds of commands.

[0066] The storage unit 282 stores various programs such as a program for manufacturing the sheet S, various calibration curves, tables, and the like.

[0067] The control unit 28 may be built in the fibrous material processing apparatus 100, or may be provided in an external device such as an external computer. The external device may communicate with the fibrous material processing apparatus 100 via a cable or the like, may communicate wirelessly, or may be connected to the fibrous material processing apparatus 100 via a network such as the Internet.

[0068] Furthermore, the CPU 281 and the memory unit 282 may, for example, be integrated and configured as a single unit, or the CPU 281 may be built into the fibrous material processing device 100 and the memory unit 282 may be provided in an external device such as an external computer, or the memory unit 282 may be built into the fibrous material processing device 100 and the CPU 281 may be provided in an external device such as an external computer.

[0069] Next, a description will be given of the powder recovery device 1. As shown in Fig. 2, the powder recovery device 1 has a function of recovering powder M9 sucked by the suction unit 153 shown in Fig. 1. The powder recovery device 1 includes a powder storage unit 3, a delivery screw 4, a drive unit 5 that rotates and drives the delivery screw 4, a negative pressure generating unit 6, a powder recovery unit 7, and a detection unit 9.

[0070] 2, the powder storage section 3 has a storage tank 31 that takes in the powder M9 transported through the pipe 244, temporarily stores the powder M9, and discharges the powder to the powder recovery section 7, and a protruding section 32 that protrudes outward in a cylindrical shape from the storage tank 31. The storage tank 31 has an intake port 311 for taking in the powder M9, an exhaust port 312 for discharging the powder M9, and an exhaust port 313.

[0071] The intake port 311 is connected to the pipe 244. In the illustrated configuration, the intake port 311 is located on the -z-axis side and the +x-axis side of the storage tank 31. However, the position of the intake port 311 is not limited to the illustrated configuration.

[0072] The protruding portion 32 has a cylindrical shape, and an opening thereof constitutes the discharge port 312. The protruding portion 32 is connected to the powder recovery portion 7. Specifically, the powder recovery portion 7 is airtightly fixed to the outer circumferential surface of the protruding portion 32. The discharge port 312 is located on the -z-axis side and the -x-axis side of the storage tank 31. However, the position of the discharge port 312 is not limited to the configuration shown in the figure.

[0073] In this manner, the powder storage section 3 has the storage tank 31 and the protruding portion 32 that protrudes outward from the storage tank 31 in a cylindrical shape, and the discharge port 312 is an opening of the protruding portion 32. This allows the powder recovery section 7 to be fixed to the outer circumferential surface of the protruding portion 32, facilitating the attachment and detachment of the powder recovery section 7 to and from the powder storage section 3. Furthermore, the powder M9 discharged from the discharge port 312 can be easily distributed to every corner of the powder recovery section 7.

[0074] The exhaust port 313 is connected to the negative pressure forming unit 6 and has a function of discharging air from the storage tank 31. The exhaust port 313 is located on the +z-axis side and the -x-axis side of the storage tank 31. However, the position of the exhaust port 312 is not limited to the configuration shown in the figure.

[0075] The amount of air discharged from the exhaust port 313 is greater than the amount of air per unit time that flows in together with the powder M9 from the intake port 311. This makes it possible to maintain a negative pressure inside the storage tank 31. The negative pressure forming unit 6 is composed of, for example, a pump, and is electrically connected to the control unit 28, and its operation is controlled.

[0076] The powder storage section 3 also has a partition plate 33 and a filter 34. The partition plate 33 separates the inside of the storage tank 31 into an intake port 311 side and an exhaust port 313 side. The partition plate 33 also has two through holes 331. Filters 34 are installed in the through holes 331, respectively.

[0077] The filter 34 is made of, for example, a woven fabric or a nonwoven fabric, and has openings large enough to allow air to pass through and prevent the powder M9 from passing through, thereby preventing the powder M9 from being discharged from the exhaust port 313.

[0078] Thus, the powder storage section 3 has an exhaust port 313 that exhausts the air inside, a negative pressure forming section 6 that is connected to the exhaust port 313 and serves as a suction section that sucks in the air, and a filter 34 that captures the powder M9 heading toward the exhaust port 313. This makes it possible to create a negative pressure inside, and to prevent or suppress air from being supplied to the powder recovery section 7, which will be described later. Furthermore, it is possible to prevent the powder M9 from being discharged from the exhaust port 313.

[0079] In addition, the powder storage section 3 has a removal section 35 that removes the powder M9 captured by the filter 34 from the filter 34. This makes it possible to prevent clogging of the filter 34 and to more effectively discharge the powder M9 in the powder storage section 3 from the discharge port 312.

[0080] In this embodiment, the detachment section 35 is configured with a blowing section 351 that blows out air. The blowing sections 351 are provided at positions corresponding to the filters 34, respectively. Specifically, each blowing section 351 is located on the +z-axis side of the filter 34, and blows out air toward the -z-axis side. The blowing sections 351 are configured with, for example, a blower, and the operation thereof is controlled by the control section 28.

[0081] The blowing part 351 may be configured to blow air intermittently or continuously. The amount of air blown from the blowing part 351 is set to an amount sufficient to maintain the internal negative pressure.

[0082] Next, the delivery screw 4 will be described. As shown in Fig. 2, the delivery screw 4 has a function of delivering and discharging the powder M9 toward the discharge port 312 by rotating around the rotation axis O. The delivery screw 4 is installed at a position offset toward the -z axis side in the storage tank 31 and oriented along the x axis direction. The delivery screw 4 has a tip end 4A and a base end 4B. The tip end 4A is the end on the left side in Fig. 2. The base end 4B is the end on the right side in Fig. 2.

[0083] The base end 4B is connected to the drive unit 5. The drive unit 5 is electrically connected to the control unit 28 shown in Fig. 1, and the control unit 28 controls the conditions of energization to the drive unit 5, thereby controlling the operation of the drive unit 5. The drive unit 5 outputs a rotational force when energized, and the rotational force is transmitted to the base end 4B. This rotates the delivery screw 4, and the powder M9 can be delivered and discharged.

[0084] The detection unit 9 detects the load applied to the drive unit 5, and is composed of, for example, a torque sensor. The detection unit 9 is electrically connected to the control unit 28, and the detection result detected by the detection unit 9 is transmitted to the control unit 28 and used for control as described below.

[0085] In the illustrated configuration, the base end 4B is configured to protrude to the outside of the storage tank 31, i.e., to the +x-axis side. However, the present invention is not limited to this configuration, and the base end 4B may be located inside the storage tank 31. In this case, the drive unit 5 may be provided inside the storage tank 31 or outside the storage tank 31.

[0086] 3, the delivery screw 4 has a screw shaft 41 and a screw thread 42 formed on the outer periphery of the screw shaft 41. The screw thread 42 is provided so as to protrude from the outer periphery of the screw shaft 41 and is composed of a spiral rib.

[0087] The powder M9 delivered by the delivery screw 4 is discharged to the powder recovery section 7 via the discharge port 312.

[0088] 2, the powder recovery part 7 has an internal space 70, and recovers and stores the powder M9 discharged from the discharge port 312. The powder recovery part 7 is detachably connected to the protruding part 32, and when the powder M9 in the internal space 70 reaches a predetermined amount, i.e., when it is full, it is detached from the protruding part 32. Then, the powder M9 in the internal space 70 is discarded, and an empty powder recovery part 7 is attached to the protruding part 32 again, or the entire powder recovery part 7 is discarded, and a new powder recovery part 7 is attached to the protruding part 32.

[0089] In addition, the powder recovery section 7 is in the shape of a flexible bag. This allows the volume of the powder recovery section 7 to be kept small when the amount of powder M9 in the internal space 70 is small. This makes it easier to visually grasp the amount of powder M9 in the powder recovery section 7.

[0090] Moreover, the powder recovery section 7 is made of an airtight material. This makes it possible to prevent air from flowing into the internal space 70 from the outside of the powder recovery section 7 due to the negative pressure in the storage tank 31. This makes it possible to maintain the negative pressure in the internal space 70, and to prevent or suppress air from flowing into the internal space 70 from the discharge port 312. As a result, the powder M9 can be efficiently stored in the internal space 70.

[0091] The constituent material of such powder recovery section 7 is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include polyolefins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutadiene, and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), polyesters such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), various heat-fusible elastomers such as soft polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride, silicone, polyurethane, and polyamide elastomers, or any combination of these (blend resins, polymer alloys, etc.).

[0092] In addition, the powder recovery section 7 may or may not have internal visibility, but it is preferable that the powder recovery section 7 has internal visibility, which makes it easier to visually grasp the amount of powder M9 in the powder recovery section 7.

[0093] As described above, the powder recovery section 7 is connected to the outer periphery of the protrusion 32. This makes it easier for the powder M9 discharged from the discharge port 312 to reach every corner of the powder recovery section 7.

[0094] 3, the powder recovery section 7 is fixed to the protruding section 32 by a fixing member 8. The fixing member 8 is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include fixing using a string as shown in the figure, or an adhesive tape.

[0095] Here, in the powder recovery device 1, as shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the end of the delivery screw 4 on the discharge port 312 side, i.e., the tip 4A, protrudes from the discharge port 312 to the outside of the powder storage section 3 and is located in the internal space 70. That is, the delivery screw 4 extends to the internal space 70 of the powder recovery section 7. With this configuration, the delivery screw 4 can deliver the powder M9 to a more distal side of the internal space 70 relative to the discharge port 312. Furthermore, the powder M9 discharged from the discharge port 312 by the delivery screw 4 is diffused in the internal space 70 in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 3, i.e., in the radial direction of the delivery screw 4, by the tip 4A of the delivery screw 4. Therefore, the powder M9 does not remain near the discharge port 312 but spreads into the internal space 70, and the powder recovery section 7 can accommodate the maximum storage volume of the powder recovery section 7 or an amount of the powder M9 close to the maximum storage volume. That is, the amount of the powder M9 accommodated in the powder recovery section 7 can be increased. Moreover, such a configuration is particularly advantageous in the case where the powder recovery portion 7 is bag-shaped and expands as it recovers the powder M9.

[0096] The length of the portion of the delivery screw 4 that protrudes from the discharge port 312 is preferably 10 mm or more and 200 mm or less, more preferably 20 mm or more and 100 mm or less, although this depends on the size, material, etc., of the powder recovery section 7. This makes it possible to more reliably achieve the above-mentioned effects.

[0097] Furthermore, the length of the portion of the delivery screw 4 that protrudes from the discharge port 312 is preferably 1% to 50% of the total length of the delivery screw 4, and more preferably 2% to 30%. This makes it possible to more reliably achieve the above-mentioned effects.

[0098] Furthermore, the length of the portion of the delivery screw 4 that protrudes from the discharge port 312 is preferably from 1 to 10 times, and more preferably from 2 to 6 times, the outer diameter of the delivery screw 4. This makes it possible to more reliably achieve the above-mentioned effects.

[0099] 3, the delivery screw 4 has an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the protruding portion 32 and rotates while being spaced apart from the inner surface of the protruding portion 32. The distance D is preferably 5 mm or more and 10 mm or less, and more preferably 6 mm or more and 9 mm or less. This ensures a sufficient amount of the powder M9 to be conveyed, and also makes it possible to more reliably convey the powder M9.

[0100] 3, the delivery screw 4 has a helical thread 42, and the pitch P of the thread 42 in the direction along the rotation axis O is preferably 15 mm to 30 mm, more preferably 17 mm to 27 mm. This ensures a sufficient amount of the powder M9 to be conveyed, and also makes it possible to more reliably convey the powder M9.

[0101] The delivery screw 4 is installed such that the rotation axis O is inclined with respect to the vertical direction. In this manner, when the powder M9 is delivered in a direction other than the vertical direction, the effect of the present invention can be more significantly obtained.

[0102] As described above, the powder recovery device 1 includes the powder storage section 3 having the inlet 311 for taking in the fiber-containing powder M9 and the outlet 312 for discharging the powder M9, the long-shaped delivery screw 4 provided in the powder storage section 3, which rotates around the rotation axis O to deliver the powder M9 and discharge it from the outlet 312, and the powder recovery section 7 connected to the outlet 312 and having an internal space 70 for recovering the powder M9 discharged from the outlet 312. The tip 4A, which is the end of the delivery screw 4 on the outlet 312 side, protrudes from the outlet 312 to the outside of the powder storage section 3 and is located within the internal space 70. This allows the delivery screw 4 to deliver the powder M9 to a more distal side of the outlet 312 in the internal space 70. Therefore, the powder M9 spreads in the internal space 70 without remaining near the discharge port 312, and the powder recovery section 7 can accommodate an amount of powder M9 equal to or close to the maximum capacity of the powder recovery section 7. In other words, the amount of powder M9 accommodated in the powder recovery section 7 can be increased. Furthermore, with a simple configuration in which the tip 4A protrudes from the discharge port 312 to the outside of the powder storage section 3, the amount of powder M9 accommodated in the powder recovery section 7 can be increased.

[0103] The fibrous material processing device 100 also includes a defibration unit 13 that defibrates coarsely crushed pieces M2, which are raw materials containing fibers, a sorting unit 14 and a first web forming unit 15 that are accumulation units that disperse the defibrated material M3 produced in the defibration unit 13 into the air and accumulate the defibrated material M3 by suction, and a powder recovery device 1 that recovers powder M9 containing fibers sucked in by the sorting unit 14 and the first web forming unit 15. This makes it possible to obtain a fibrous material processing device 100 that has the advantages of the powder recovery device 1 described above.

[0104] In the above, the sorting unit 14 and the first web forming unit 15 are described as the accumulation unit, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the refining unit 18 and the second web forming unit 19 may also be the accumulation unit. That is, short fibers generated when sucked by the suction unit 193 of the second web forming unit 19 may be used as powder M9, and the powder recovery device 1 may be connected to the tube 246.

[0105] Next, an example of the control operation of the control unit 28 will be described with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG.

[0106] First, in step S101, sheet production is started, and in step S102, the detection unit 9 is operated to detect the load on the drive unit 5. This load is detected by detecting the torque or the amount of change in torque applied to a motor (not shown) of the drive unit 5 in real time.

[0107] Next, in step S103, it is determined whether the load detected in step S102 exceeds a threshold value. This threshold value is a value that is pre-stored in the storage unit 282, and can be appropriately set prior to starting sheet production.

[0108] When the delivery screw 4 delivers the powder M9, if the powder recovery section 7 contains the powder M9 up to the periphery of the tip 4A, the powder M9 in the powder recovery section 7 acts as a resistance to the rotation of the delivery screw 4, increasing the load on the drive section 5. For this reason, the degree to which the load increases is experimentally obtained in advance and stored as a threshold value.

[0109] If it is determined in step S103 that the load exceeds the threshold, the process proceeds to step S104, and if it is determined in step S103 that the load does not exceed the threshold, the process proceeds to step S108.

[0110] In step S104, the powder recovery unit 7 notifies the user that the powder M9 has been stored up to the periphery of the tip portion 4A, i.e., that the powder recovery unit 7 is in a full state. This notification is made by displaying a message on a monitor (not shown) or by emitting a warning sound.

[0111] Next, in step S105, the sheet production is stopped, that is, the driving of each part of the fibrous material processing apparatus 100 is stopped.

[0112] Next, in step S106, it is determined whether a restart command has been input. This determination is made based on whether a restart command has been input from an input unit (not shown). Note that the operator replaces the powder recovery unit 7 or discards the powder M9 in the powder recovery unit 7 before inputting the restart command.

[0113] When it is determined in step S106 that a restart instruction has been input, the sheet production is restarted in step S107, that is, the driving of each part of the fibrous material processing apparatus 100 is restarted.

[0114] Next, in step S108, it is determined whether or not the sheet production is completed. This determination is made based on, for example, whether or not the number of produced sheets S has reached a predetermined number.

[0115] If it is determined in step S108 that the sheet manufacturing is complete, the program ends its execution. On the other hand, if it is determined in step S108 that the sheet manufacturing is not complete, the program returns to step S102 and the subsequent steps are repeated in sequence.

[0116] In this way, the powder recovery device 1 has a drive unit 5 that rotates and drives the delivery screw 4, and a detection unit 9 that detects the load applied to the drive unit 5. This makes it possible to know that the amount of powder M9 in the powder recovery unit 7 has exceeded the threshold value with a simple configuration without providing a sensor on the powder recovery unit 7 side to detect the amount of powder M9 in the powder recovery unit 7.

[0117] <Second embodiment> FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the tip of a delivery screw and its surrounding area provided in a second embodiment of the powder recovery device of the present invention.

[0118] Hereinafter, the second embodiment of the powder recovery device of the present invention will be described with reference to these drawings. The differences from the embodiment described above will be mainly described, and descriptions of similar points will be omitted.

[0119] This embodiment is similar to the first embodiment, except that the configuration of the delivery screw is different.

[0120] In this embodiment, condition A of the thread 42 at the tip 4A, i.e., the portion of the delivery screw 4 protruding from the discharge outlet 312, is different from condition B of the thread 42 at the portion of the delivery screw 4 located on the base end side of the discharge outlet 312, i.e., within the protruding portion 32.

[0121] 5, in this embodiment, the pitch PA of the threads 42 in the portion of the delivery screw 4 protruding from the discharge port 312 and the pitch PB of the threads 42 in the portion of the delivery screw 4 located within the protruding portion 32 satisfy pitch PB<pitch PA. As a result, the conveying speed of the powder M9 discharged from the discharge port 312 decreases, and the powder M9 is more likely to be diffused in the radial direction of the delivery screw 4. As a result, the effects of the present invention described in the first embodiment can be more significantly obtained.

[0122] In this embodiment, as an example of condition A and condition B being different, a case where pitch PB<pitch PA is satisfied has been described; however, the present invention is not limited to this, and for example, pitch PB may be greater than pitch PA, the protruding height of thread 42 may be different, and the hardness may be different.

[0123] When the protruding heights of the threads 42 are different, it is preferable that the protruding height of the threads 42 of the portion of the delivery screw 4 that protrudes from the discharge port 312 is higher. This facilitates diffusion in the radial direction of the delivery screw 4. This makes it possible to more significantly obtain the effects of the present invention described in the first embodiment.

[0124] When the hardness is different, the portion of the delivery screw 4 protruding from the discharge outlet 312 can be made of a flexible material, thereby reducing damage to the powder recovery section 7 when it comes into contact with the powder recovery section 7.

[0125] Although the powder recovery device and fibrous material processing device of the present invention have been described above with reference to the illustrated embodiment, the present invention is not limited thereto, and each part constituting the powder recovery device and fibrous material processing device can be replaced with any other component capable of performing the same function. In addition, any other component may be added.

[0126] Furthermore, the powder recovery device and fibrous material processing device of the present invention may be a combination of any two or more of the configurations or features of the above-described embodiments. [Explanation of symbols]
