Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a method for producing a solid powder cosmetic preparation. [Background technology]
[0002] There are two methods for manufacturing solid powder cosmetics: the dry method, in which a mixture of powder and oil is compressed and molded into an oil powder bulk, and the wet method, in which a volatile solvent such as water or alcohol is added to the oil powder bulk to make a slurry, which is then filled into a container and the volatile solvent is dried and removed to obtain the cosmetic. Compared to the dry method, the wet method is characterized by more uniform dispersion of the powder and oil, a fine powder texture, and a moist feel when used.
[0003] Volatile hydrocarbons and low-boiling alcohols are commonly used as dispersion solvents in the wet method, but in recent years, methods using water as a solvent have been reported due to growing environmental awareness. However, when using water to prepare a slurry, it is difficult to uniformly disperse the oil, and the oil dispersion state of the resulting product is non-uniform from the surface to the inside, posing problems in usability and uniformity of the molded product.
[0004] As a method for improving the dispersibility of oils even when water is used as a dispersion solvent, a method has been reported in which an oily component is first made into an oil-in-water emulsion composition, which is then mixed with powder to form a slurry, which is then filled into a container, and the water is then dried to remove, thereby obtaining a solid powder cosmetic (Patent Document 1). [0005] [Patent Document 1] JP 2009-242282 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] However, the solid powder cosmetic preparation obtained by the method of Patent Document 1 mentioned above has problems such as the surface of the molded product being prone to becoming uneven when dried, resulting in uneven removal of the product when used, the surface of the molded product being hard, and the powder clumping together, resulting in a powdery feel when used. Therefore, the present invention relates to a method for producing a solid powder cosmetic which has a highly uniform surface, comes off in just the right amount during use, and is very smooth and comfortable without a powdery feel, even when water is used as a dispersion solvent. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] In view of the above, the present inventors have investigated the cosmetic filling process to solve the above problems, and have found that the key lies in the composition of the oil-in-water emulsion prepared using water as a dispersion solvent before mixing with the powder, and in the process of removing the solvent. That is, they have found that by mixing an oil-in-water emulsion prepared using a specific amount of surfactant with a powder cosmetic base to form a slurry, filling a cosmetic container, and then removing the solvent by suction, it is possible to obtain a solid powder cosmetic with a highly uniform surface, an appropriate amount of removal during use, and a very smooth, comfortable texture without a powdery feel, and have completed the present invention.
[0008] That is, the present invention provides the following components (A) to (C): (A) Color pigment: 0.1% by mass or more and 34% by mass or less of the total powder amount; (B) oil agent: 3% by mass or more and 28% by mass or less based on the total amount of powder, and (C) Surfactant: 12% by mass or more and 30% by mass or less based on the total amount of oil The present invention provides a method for producing a solid powder cosmetic comprising the steps of: mixing a powder containing the component (A) with an oil-in-water emulsion containing the components (B) and (C) and water to form a slurry; filling the slurry into a cosmetic container; and then removing the solvent by suction. Effect of the Invention
[0009] According to the present invention, it is possible to produce a solid powder cosmetic product which has a highly uniform surface, comes off in just the right amount during use, and is very smooth and comfortable, without the feeling of powder. [0043] The solid powder cosmetic of the present invention may contain, in addition to the above-mentioned powder, oil and surfactant, polyhydric alcohols, water-soluble polymers, cosmetic ingredients, fragrances, preservatives, ultraviolet absorbers, antioxidants and the like.
[0044] The solid powder cosmetic of the present invention is characterized in that a powder containing the component (A) is mixed with an oil-in-water emulsion containing the components (B) and (C) and water as a solvent to form a slurry, which is then filled into a cosmetic container and the solvent is removed by suction. Conventional methods for producing solid powder cosmetic products involve first mixing the powder containing the component (A) with the component (B) oil and homogenizing it, and then dispersing it in a solvent, but by using the method of the present invention, a solid powder cosmetic can be produced that has a highly uniform surface of a molded product, comes off in just the right amount during use, and is very smooth and has an excellent feel when used. First, the process for obtaining an oil-in-water emulsion containing the components (B), (C) and water will be described. The amount of water used when preparing an oil-in-water emulsion is preferably 50% by mass or more, more preferably 60% by mass or more, even more preferably 65% by mass or more, preferably 90% by mass or less, more preferably 85% by mass or less, even more preferably 82% by mass or less, even more preferably 78% by mass or less, and even more preferably 75% by mass or less, from the viewpoint of handling during preparation and stability of the emulsion. The emulsion of the present invention uses water as a solvent, but may contain a water-soluble organic solvent within a range that does not inhibit emulsification. When a water-soluble organic solvent is contained, it is preferably 10% by mass or less, more preferably 5% by mass or less, and even more preferably 0% by mass, from the viewpoint of not inhibiting emulsification. The apparatus for producing the oil-in-water emulsion is not particularly limited as long as it can produce a uniform oil-in-water emulsion, and it is preferable to use an emulsifying apparatus having a homomixer or a dispersing blade. From the viewpoint of improving the emulsion dispersion and reducing the load during production, the peripheral speed of the tip of the agitating blade of the mixer during emulsification is preferably 1 m / s or more, more preferably 3 m / s or more, even more preferably 5 m / s or more, and preferably 30 m / s or less, more preferably 25 m / s or less, and even more preferably 20 m / s or less. From the viewpoint of improving emulsification and dispersion and reducing the load during production, the stirring time is preferably 1 minute or more, more preferably 3 minutes or more, and even more preferably 5 minutes or more, and is preferably 90 minutes or less, more preferably 75 minutes or less, and even more preferably 60 minutes or less. From the viewpoints of improving emulsification and dispersion and reducing the load during production, the stirring temperature is preferably 15°C or higher, more preferably 20°C or higher, and even more preferably 25°C or higher, and is preferably 90°C or lower, more preferably 80°C or lower, and even more preferably 70°C or lower.
[0045] Next, the powder containing the component (A) is mixed with the oil-in-water emulsion to form a slurry. This step can be carried out using any mixing device capable of uniformly mixing the emulsion and the powder, and a high-speed dispersing machine such as a homodisper having a dispersing blade can be used. From the viewpoint of improving emulsification and dispersion and reducing the load during production, the peripheral speed of the tip of the agitator blade during mixing is preferably 1 m / s or more, more preferably 3 m / s or more, and even more preferably 5 m / s or more, and is preferably 30 m / s or less, more preferably 25 m / s or less, and even more preferably 20 m / s or less. From the viewpoint of improving emulsification and dispersion and reducing the load during production, the stirring time is preferably 1 minute or more, more preferably 3 minutes or more, and even more preferably 5 minutes or more, and is preferably 120 minutes or less, more preferably 75 minutes or less, and even more preferably 60 minutes or less.
[0046] The obtained slurry is filled into a cosmetic container, and the solvent is removed by suction. When an organic solvent is used as the solvent, it is preferable to remove the solvent by suction from the viewpoint of safety and from the viewpoint of preventing the oily agent from being localized on the surface of the molded product due to capillary action together with the solvent when only drying is performed. However, when water is used as the solvent, there is no need to remove the solvent by suction since there is no such problem. In addition, it was technically common knowledge among those skilled in the art that when an emulsion system is used, the oily agent is also easily removed when attempting to remove the solvent by suction. On the other hand, in the present invention, it has been found that when water is used as a solvent, the hardness of the cosmetic increases and the resistance to disintegration is improved by pressing while removing the solvent by suction, and therefore the present invention is characterized in that the solvent is removed by suction. The cosmetic container used is a container suitable for the desired solid powder cosmetic product. The filling method is not particularly limited, and may be either front filling or back filling. The timing of suction removal of the solvent may be such that the solvent is suctioned and removed after the completion of filling the cosmetic container with the slurry, or the cosmetic container may be filled with the solvent while suctioning and removing the solvent. Here, the degree of vacuum during suction removal of the solvent is preferably -5 kPa or more and 80 kPa or less from the viewpoints of solvent removal efficiency and load on the equipment during production. From the viewpoints of solvent removal efficiency, load on the equipment during production, and drop resistance strength of the product, it is preferable to perform suction removal until the solvent content after solvent removal is 10% or more and 25% or less. In addition, from the viewpoints of solvent removal efficiency and load on the equipment during production, the solvent content is more preferably 12% or more, even more preferably 15% or more, even more preferably 19% or more, even more preferably 20% or more, and even more preferably 24% or less, and even more preferably 23% or less. The solvent content is measured by the method described in the examples.
[0047] Furthermore, if necessary, it is preferable to dry the solid powder cosmetic. The drying method is not particularly limited, and natural drying is acceptable, but hot air drying and vacuum drying are preferably used. From the viewpoints of drying efficiency, the load on the equipment during production, and thermal degradation of the product, the drying temperature is preferably 20°C or higher, more preferably 25°C or higher, and even more preferably 30°C or higher, and is preferably 95°C or lower, more preferably 90°C or lower, and even more preferably 85°C or lower. The moisture content (moisture content) in the solid powder cosmetic after drying is preferably 0.01 to 1.0 mass %, more preferably 0.05 to 0.8 mass %, and even more preferably 0.1 to 0.5 mass %, from the viewpoints of the amount removed during use and drop resistance.
[0048] The solid powder cosmetic preparations obtainable by the method of the present invention include make-up cosmetics such as eye color, foundation, blusher, eyeliner, face powder, and lipstick.

EXAMPLES
[0052] The present invention will now be described in more detail with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited to these examples.
[0053] [Method of manufacturing molded products] Examples 1 to 11 and Comparative Examples 1 to 6 Pure water was added to a beaker and heated to 60°C, after which the surfactant and oil agent mixed in advance were added. Then, a homomixer MARKII 2.5 type (PRIMIX) was used to stir at 60°C and 6,000 rpm for 5 minutes to prepare an oil-in-water emulsion. The pigment was added to the emulsion and stirred with a spatula until the pigment was wet. Then, a homodisper 2.5 type (PRIMIX) equipped with a 40 mm dispersing blade was used to stir at 60°C and 4,200 rpm for 5 minutes to obtain a slurry. 3 g of the obtained slurry was filled into a 27 mm x 27 mm metal plate, and with two pieces of cloth overlapped between the press plate with suction holes and the metal plate, the solvent was sucked out from the suction holes by vacuum and pressed twice with a pressure of 1 kN for 2 seconds. Then, the mixture was dried at 40°C for 24 hours to prepare a solid powder cosmetic, and the moisture content after drying was also measured.
[0054] Comparative Example 6 Pure water heated to 60°C, surfactant, oil, and pigment were added to a beaker at once, and the mixture was stirred with a spatula until the pigment was wet. A homodisper 2.5 type (PRIMIX) equipped with a 40mm dispersing blade was then used to stir at 60°C and 4,200 rpm for 5 minutes to obtain a slurry. 3g of the obtained slurry was filled into a 27mm x 27mm metal plate, and with two pieces of cloth placed between a press plate with suction holes and the metal plate, the mixture was pressed twice for 2 seconds at a pressure of 1kN while the solvent was removed by vacuum suction from the suction holes. The mixture was then dried at 40°C for 24 hours to produce a solid powder cosmetic, and the moisture content after drying was measured.
[0055] [Method for measuring hardness of molded products (before drying)] The hardness of the molded product was measured using a RHEO METER COMPAC-100II (Sun Scientific) with a 2 mm diameter jig and a 1 mm penetration.
[0056] [Method for measuring moisture content of molded products (before drying)] The moisture content of the molded product (before drying) was calculated from the change in mass between the molded product (before drying) and the molded product (after drying). The drying conditions were 105°C for 3 hours.
[0057] [Number 1] Moisture content of molded product (before drying) = ((mass of molded product (before drying)) - (mass of molded product (after drying))) / (mass of molded product (before drying))
[0058] [Method for evaluating the uniformity of the surface of a molded product] The surface of the molded product (after drying) was observed under a microscope, the height of the unevenness was measured, and the surface was evaluated using the following scores. Surface uniformity of molded product (after drying) 5 points: No irregularities of up to 0.3 mm or more are observed 4 points: Maximum irregularities of 0.3 mm or more are observed 3 points: Maximum irregularities of 0.4 mm or more are observed 2 points: Maximum irregularities of 0.5 mm or more are observed 1 point: Maximum irregularities of 0.6 mm or more are observed
[0059] [Sensory evaluation method for molded products (after drying)] Five people engaged in cosmetics research were asked to evaluate the solid powder cosmetic products we had created on a 5-point scale in terms of "amount that comes off when used" and "comfortable feel with little powdery sensation." The average score was used as a score for the solid powder cosmetic products.
[0060] [Amount removed when used] 5 points: The amount of material removed when used with a tip is just right (Example 4) 4 points: The amount of material removed when used with a tip is greater than that of Comparative Example 4. 3 points: The amount of material removed when used with a tip is slightly greater than in Comparative Example 4. 2 points: The amount of material removed when used with a tip is slightly greater than in Comparative Example 4. 1. The amount of material removed when used with a tip is too small (Comparative Example 4)
[0061] [Comfortable texture with a powdery feel] 5 points: Very smooth and comfortable, with almost no powdery feel (Example 5) 4 points: Slightly less smooth and comfortable feeling compared to Example 5, and a slight powdery feeling 3 points: Less smooth and comfortable feeling compared to Example 5, more powdery feeling 2 points: The powder feels weaker than Comparative Example 3 1 point: Similarly, the powdery feel is quite strong (Comparative Example 3)
[0062] Table 1 shows the formulation of the produced solid powder cosmetic, the blending ratio of each component by mass, production conditions, and evaluation results of the molded products.
