Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to an aerosol cosmetic comprising a concentrate which is a water-in-oil emulsion composition containing metal oxide powder that has been surface-coated with a specific compound, and a liquefied gas as a propellant. More specifically, the present invention relates to an aerosol cosmetic which is resistant to powder aggregation even when left to stand for long periods of time, has excellent powder redispersibility, is resistant to color unevenness in the cosmetic film, and has a refreshing, non-sticky feel when used. [Background technology]
[0002] Aerosol cosmetics are easy to apply to a wide range of skin and hair, and especially when they are spray-type, they are very easy to use because they can be applied evenly to hard-to-reach areas without wetting the hands and fingers with the cosmetics. Therefore, they are also used as sunscreen cosmetics and makeup cosmetics, but because they are used in a special pressurized environment where they coexist with liquefied gas or compressed gas as a propellant, if the cosmetics contain powders such as metal oxides, they are prone to aggregation and caking in the aerosol container, resulting in clogging, poor sprayability, and uneven spraying, and studies have been made to solve these problems (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2).
[0003] Meanwhile, in recent years, with consumers becoming more conscious of skin aesthetics, there is an increasing need for minor skin color correction effects not only in makeup cosmetics but also in skin care cosmetics, and there is a demand for the development of cosmetics that have the original moisturizing effect, a fresh feel in use, and good spreadability, while also being capable of being colored to correct skin color. When blending pigment powders such as titanium oxide and iron oxide for the purpose of makeup or skin color correction, if the dispersion state of these powders is poor, it can lead to non-uniformity in the cosmetic film, so various surface coating treatments and the like have been investigated with the aim of improving the dispersibility of the powders (see, for example, Patent Document 3). [0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2010-120871 A [Patent Document 2] JP 2015-147752 A [Patent Document 3] JP 2007-308490 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] The object of the present invention is to provide a skin care cosmetic having a skin color correcting effect by coloring the skin, in a convenient aerosol form, that is, to provide an aerosol cosmetic that can be sprayed evenly and combines an even color of the cosmetic film with a fresh feel on use that is free of stickiness or oiliness. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] In light of this situation, the present inventors conducted extensive research and have now completed an aerosol cosmetic preparation which is less likely to cause powder aggregation even when left to stand for long periods of time, has excellent powder redispersibility, is less likely to cause color unevenness in the cosmetic film, and is non-sticky and has an excellent feel when used. This is achieved by combining a metal oxide powder which has been surface-coated with N-acylglutamic acid or a salt thereof with a specific surfactant, and further combining this with a water-in-oil emulsion composition containing a specific aqueous component and a liquefied gas to produce an aerosol.
[0007] The present invention relates to the following components (A) to (E); (A) 0.1 to 20% by mass of metal oxide powder surface-coated with N-acylglutamic acid or its salt (B) Nonionic surfactant with HLB value of 3 to 7: 0.01 to 5% by mass (C) Polyhydric alcohol with an IOB value of 1.5 to 3.5 (D) Ethanol (E)Water The present invention provides an aerosol cosmetic comprising a concentrate that is a water-in-oil emulsion composition containing the above-mentioned formula (I) and a liquefied gas as a propellant, wherein the total content by mass of components (C) to (E) in the concentrate is 20 to 70 mass %. The present invention also relates to the following components (A) to (E); (A) 0.1 to 20% by mass of metal oxide powder surface-coated with N-acylglutamic acid or its salt (B) Nonionic surfactant with HLB value of 3 to 7: 0.01 to 5.0% by mass (C) Polyhydric alcohol with an IOB value of 1.5 to 3.5 (D) Ethanol (E)Water and a liquefied gas as a propellant, wherein the total content by mass of components (C) to (E) in the concentrate is 20 to 70% by mass, The present invention further provides an aerosol cosmetic preparation, in which the mass ratio (C) / (D) of component (C) to component (D) in the concentrate is 0.5 to 1.5, and the mass ratio (D) / (E) of component (D) to component (E) is 0.2 to 0.5. Effect of the Invention
[0008] The aerosol cosmetic of the present invention is unlikely to cause powder aggregation even when left to stand for a long period of time, has excellent powder (re)dispersibility, and can be sprayed evenly onto the skin, resulting in no uneven coloring of the cosmetic film and an excellent non-sticky feel when used. Therefore, it is useful as a skin care cosmetic or sunscreen cosmetic that has a skin color correction effect by coloring, and has the advantages of being easy to carry and simple to use. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0009] The configuration of the present invention will be described in detail below. In this specification, a numerical range expressed using "to" means a range including the numerical values before and after "to" as the lower and upper limits.
[0010] The aerosol cosmetic of the present invention is prepared by filling a concentrate of the water-in-oil emulsion composition containing the above-mentioned components (A) to (E) and a liquefied gas as a propellant in a container having a pressure-resistant valve. The aerosol can be adjusted to a form such as a spray (mist), foam (foam), etc. according to the purpose of use, and is used as it is after spraying or by spreading it with the hands. In the present invention, the spray form is preferable from the viewpoint of being able to spray evenly on the skin and hair. Therefore, the filling ratio of the water-in-oil emulsion and the liquefied gas in the aerosol is preferably 10 to 50 mass % (hereinafter simply abbreviated as "%) of the water-in-oil emulsion composition and 50 to 90% of the liquefied gas, and more preferably 20 to 40% of the water-in-oil emulsion composition and 60 to 80% of the liquefied gas. Within this range, the stability is excellent even when left standing for a long period of time, and it is possible to spray evenly.
[0011] (Standard solution: water-in-oil emulsion composition) The component (A) used in the present invention is a metal oxide powder that has been surface-coated with N-acylglutamic acid or a salt thereof. The N-acyl glutamic acid in the surface coating treatment agent of component (A) refers to a glutamic acid in which hydrogen of the amino group is replaced with an acyl group, and the salt refers to Al, Mg, and Na salts. In the present invention, the acyl group is preferably a fatty acid residue having 8 to 30 carbon atoms, such as 2-ethylhexanoic acid residue, capric acid residue, lauric acid residue, myristic acid residue, palmitic acid residue, stearic acid residue, behenic acid residue, isopalmitic acid residue, isostearic acid residue, oleic acid residue, linoleic acid residue, and linoleic acid residue. Specific examples of the surface coating treatment agent include N-lauroyl glutamic acid, N-hexanoyl glutamic acid, N-oleyl glutamic acid, N-myristenoyl glutamic acid, N-palmitoyl glutamic acid, N-stearoyl glutamic acid, and Na salts thereof. In particular, N-stearoyl glutamic acid disodium salt is preferred.
[0012] The metal oxide powder used for the surface coating treatment of component (A) is not particularly limited in terms of shape, such as spherical, plate-like, needle-like, etc., particle size, such as aerosol-like, fine particles, pigment-grade, etc., particle structure, such as porous, non-porous, etc., so long as it is a metal oxide powder generally used in cosmetics. Specific examples include titanium oxide, titanium-titanium oxide sintered product, zinc oxide, red iron oxide, yellow iron oxide, black iron oxide, ultramarine, aluminum oxide, cerium oxide, zirconium oxide, silicon oxide, etc., and further, composite powders containing these may be used. For example, titanium oxide-coated mica, titanium oxide-coated bismuth oxychloride, iron oxide-coated zinc oxide, iron oxide-coated titanium oxide, iron oxide-coated mica titanium, iron blue-treated mica titanium, carmine-treated mica titanium, fine titanium oxide-coated mica titanium, barium sulfate-coated mica titanium, composite powders of titanium oxide-containing silicon dioxide, etc., and one or more of these may be used. If necessary, a surface coating agent other than component (A) may be used which has been surface-treated by a known method using a silicone compound, a fluorine compound, a metal soap, collagen, a hydrocarbon, a higher fatty acid, a higher alcohol, an ester, a wax, a surfactant, etc. Among these, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, iron oxide, barium sulfate, titanium oxide-coated mica, and titanium oxide-coated spherical powder are preferred in terms of the covering power of the finish and UV protection.
[0013] In the component (A) used in the present invention, the method for surface-coating these powders with the above-mentioned surface-coating agent, N-acylglutamic acid or a salt thereof, is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include a dry coating method in which the surface-coating agent and the powder are directly mixed (heated) to coat, a wet coating method in which the surface-coating agent is dissolved or dispersed in a solvent such as ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, n-hexane, etc., the powder is added to this solution or dispersion, and after mixing, the solvent is removed by drying or the like, heated and pulverized, and a mechanochemical method.
[0014] The component (A) thus obtained is a powder whose surface is coated with N-acylglutamic acid or a salt thereof as a surface coating treatment agent, and the amount of coating is not particularly limited, but the mass ratio of the powder to the surface treatment agent is preferably 99.99:0.01 to 70:30, and particularly preferably 99.9:0.1 to 90:10. If it is within this range, the powder has good dispersibility and the surface-coated powder having excellent adhesion to the skin can be obtained.
[0015] The content of component (A) in the water-in-oil emulsion composition of the present invention is 0.1 to 15% by mass, and more preferably 1 to 10%. If the content is less than 0.1%, a sufficient skin color correcting effect cannot be obtained, and if it exceeds 15%, the composition becomes heavy when spread by hand or a tool, resulting in an inferior feel.
[0016] The nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 3 to 7 used in the present invention as component (B) can be any nonionic surfactant generally used in cosmetics, as long as it has an HLB value of 3 to 7. If the HLB value of the nonionic surfactant is less than 3, a sufficient powder dispersion effect cannot be obtained, and if the HLB value of the nonionic surfactant is more than 7, not only is the powder dispersion insufficient, but the composition is difficult to spread by hand, resulting in an inferior feel. Here, the HLB (hydrophile-lipophile balance) in the present invention is an index showing the balance of hydrophilicity and lipophilicity, and can be calculated by the following formula 1. HLB=(ΣInorganic value / ΣOrganic)×10 (Formula 1) In addition, Σinorganic value / Σorganic value is called IOB (Inorganic-Organic balance), and can be calculated by adding up the "inorganic value" and "organic value" of atoms and functional groups that make up organic compounds such as surfactants, based on the "inorganic value" and "organic value" set for each type of atom and functional group (see Koda Yoshio, "Organic Conceptual Diagram - Basics and Applications", pp. 11-17, Sankyo Publishing, 1984).
[0017] Specific examples of component (B) include glycerin fatty acid esters and their alkylene glycol adducts, polyglycerin fatty acid esters and their alkylene glycol adducts, sorbitan fatty acid esters and their alkylene glycol adducts, sucrose fatty acid esters, polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, polyoxyalkylene alkyl co-modified organopolysiloxanes, polyether-modified organopolysiloxanes, etc. These surfactants can be used alone or in combination as needed. Among them, polyhydroxystearic acid, lauryl PEG-9 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethicone, and sorbitan sesquiisostearate are preferred from the viewpoint of powder dispersion stability.
[0018] The content of component (B) in the water-in-oil emulsion composition of the present invention is 0.01 to 5.0% by mass, and more preferably 0.1 to 3.0%. If the content is less than 0.01%, uneven coloring occurs when applied and caking occurs during long-term storage, while if it exceeds 5.0%, stickiness occurs.
[0019] The component (C) polyhydric alcohol having an IOB value of 1.5 to 3.5 used in the present invention may be any polyhydric alcohol having an IOB value of 1.5 to 3.5 and generally used in cosmetics. Among them, 1,3-butylene glycol (IOB value 2.5), dipropylene glycol (1.8), and propylene glycol (3.3) are preferred. The IOB value is as described above.
[0020] The content of component (C) in the water-in-oil emulsion composition of the present invention is not particularly limited, but is preferably 0.5 to 15%. When the content of component (C) is within this range, the redispersibility of the powder becomes more favorable.
[0021] The component (D) ethanol used in the present invention may be any ethanol generally used in cosmetics. The content of component (D) in the water-in-oil emulsion composition of the present invention is not particularly limited, but is preferably 5 to 30%. When the content of component (D) is within this range, the redispersibility of the powder is more preferable, and the spreadability and freshness are more preferable.
[0022] The component (E) water used in the present invention may be any water generally used in cosmetics, including deionized water, distilled water, purified water, hot spring water, and steam-distilled water derived from plants such as rose water and lavender water. The content of component (E) in the water-in-oil emulsion composition of the present invention is not particularly limited, but is preferably 10 to 50%. When the content of component (E) is within this range, the powder has excellent redispersibility and is more preferably non-sticky.
[0023] In the oil-based composition of the present invention, the total content of components (C) to (E) is 20 to 70%, and preferably 30 to 60%. If the content is less than 20%, caking of the powder is likely to occur, and if it exceeds 70%, it is not preferable in terms of spreadability.
[0024] In the water-in-oil emulsion composition of the present invention, the content mass ratio (C) / (D) of component (C) to component (D) is preferably 0.5 to 1.5, since this makes it possible to obtain a cosmetic composition which is less likely to cause powder caking even when left to stand for a long period of time, has excellent powder redispersibility, and is non-sticky and has an excellent feel when used, and is even more preferably 0.65 to 1.5.
[0025] In the water-in-oil emulsion composition of the present invention, the content mass ratio (D) / (E) of component (D) to component (E) is preferably 0.2 to 0.5, since this makes it possible to obtain a cosmetic composition which is less likely to cause powder caking even when left to stand for a long period of time, has excellent powder redispersibility, and is non-sticky and has an excellent feel when used, and is more preferably 0.25 to 0.5.
[0026] Furthermore, to the water-in-oil emulsion composition of the present invention, as necessary, components that are typically blended into cosmetics, such as oily components, surfactants other than component (B), powders other than component (A), water-soluble polymers, moisturizers, antioxidants, anti-fading agents, preservatives, medicinal ingredients, stabilizers, pigments, fragrances, etc., can be appropriately blended in order to impart various effects, within the scope that does not impair the effects of the present invention.
[0027] The oily component serves as a solvent that forms an external phase in the water-in-oil emulsion composition of the present invention, and is not particularly limited as long as it is one that is generally used in cosmetics. Examples of the oily component include hydrocarbons, oils and fats, waxes, hardened oils, ester oils, fatty acids, higher alcohols, fluorinated oils, lanolin derivatives, oily gelling agents, oil-soluble resins, etc., regardless of the nature of solid oils, semi-solid oils, liquid oils, or volatile oils originating from animal oils, vegetable oils, synthetic oils, etc.
[0028] Specifically, examples of such waxes include liquid paraffin, squalane, petrolatum, paraffin wax, ceresin wax, microcrystalline wax, ethylene propylene copolymer, montan wax, Fishertropus wax, light liquid isoparaffin, isododecane, and other hydrocarbons; Japan wax, olive oil, castor oil, mink oil, macadamia nut oil, and other oils and fats; beeswax, carnauba wax, candelilla wax, and other waxes; jojoba oil, cetyl isooctane, Isopropyl myristate, isopropyl palmitate, octyldodecyl myristate, glyceryl trioctanoate, diglyceryl diisostearate, diglyceryl triisostearate, glyceryl tribehenate, diisostearyl malate, neopentyl glycol dioctanoate, tridecyl isononanoate, isotridecyl isononanoate, alkyl benzoate, diisopropyl sebacate, diethylhexyl sebacate, cholesterol fatty acid esters, esters such as N-lauroyl-L-glutamic acid di(cholesteryl / behenyl / octyldodecyl), higher alcohols such as stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, lauryl alcohol, oleyl alcohol, isostearyl alcohol, and behenyl alcohol, fluorine-based oils such as perfluorodecane, perfluorooctane, and perfluoropolyether, lanolin derivatives such as lanolin, lanolin acetate, lanoline fatty acid isopropyl, and lanolin alcohol, and dextrin octanoate. One or more of these oil-based components can be used as necessary, and among them, from the viewpoint of stability, alkyl benzoate, diisopropyl sebacate, and diethylhexyl sebacate are preferred.
[0029] Examples of moisturizing agents include proteins, mucopolysaccharides, collagen, elastin, keratin, etc.; examples of antioxidants include α-tocopherol, ascorbic acid, etc.; examples of beauty ingredients include vitamins, anti-inflammatory agents, herbal medicines, etc.; and examples of preservatives include paraoxybenzoic acid esters, phenoxyethanol, 1,2-pentanediol, etc.

[0042] As is clear from the results in Table 1, the aerosol cosmetics of Examples 1 to 8 all had excellent powder dispersibility, and could be sprayed uniformly. Even if left to stand for a long period of time, they were less likely to cause caking or aggregation, and could be uniformly redispersed. They also had excellent color uniformity in the applied cosmetic film and a non-sticky feel. Comparative Examples 1 and 2 used dimethicone-coated titanium oxide and triethoxycaprylylsilane-coated titanium oxide, respectively, and therefore had poor powder dispersibility and were prone to aggregation over time. Furthermore, Comparative Example 3 used PEG-9 dimethicone as a dispersant / emulsifier, and was inferior to the products of the Examples in terms of powder dispersibility and occurrence of aggregation over time. Furthermore, Comparative Example 4 contained glycerin instead of component (C), but was inferior in terms of powder dispersibility and sticky feeling when applied.
