Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a syringe for an automatic injection device that is attached to the automatic injection device when used. [Background technology]
[0002] In the medical field, automatic injection devices are provided that inject liquids, such as highly viscous liquids like contrast agents for X-ray CT imaging and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) into the body of a subject. A syringe is attached to the automatic injection device directly or via a syringe holder.
[0003] An automatic injection device pushes the liquid filled inside a syringe attached to the automatic injection device out of the tip of the syringe by pressing the plunger of the syringe. During the operation of pressing the plunger of the syringe, the flange of the syringe is pressed against the side wall surface of the flange receiving part of the automatic injection device or the side wall surface of the flange receiving part of the syringe holder attached to the automatic injection device. At this time, if the area of the flange of the syringe pressed against the side wall surface of the flange receiving part (hereinafter referred to as the pressure-receiving area of the flange) is small, the flange may be damaged.
[0004] As a method for ensuring the pressure-receiving area of the flange of a syringe, for example, a method has been devised in which a flange having a flange cut portion is inserted into a syringe holder groove with the flange cut portion vertical, and the syringe is rotated 90 degrees around the central axis of the syringe (see Patent Document 1).
[0005] In addition, a method has been devised in which a flange inserted into a syringe holder groove of the flange is rotated 90 degrees around the central axis of the syringe, and a notch in the arc portion of the flange engages with a claw on the syringe holder (see Patent Document 2). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0006] [Patent Document 1] JP 2020-036959 A [Patent Document 2] Patent No. 5878115 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0007] For example, in the method of Patent Document 1, it is difficult to determine whether the syringe is rotated by an appropriate angle when it is attached to the automatic injection device, and it is also difficult to adjust the rotation angle. As a result, there are cases where the pressure-receiving area of the flange cannot be adequately secured.
[0008] In addition, in the method of Patent Document 2, since the claws on the syringe holder are structured to engage with the notches on the arc portion of the flange, this engagement makes it possible to confirm that the pressure-receiving area of the flange is appropriate. However, in the method of Patent Document 2, the syringe needs to be rotated until the claws on the syringe holder engage with the notches on the arc portion of the flange, which creates the problem that it takes time to prepare the syringe for attachment to the automatic injection device.
[0009] An object of the present invention is to provide a syringe for an automatic injection device which allows the pressure-receiving area of the flange to be ensured with a simple operation when attached to the automatic injection device. [Means for solving the problem]
[0010] One aspect of the present invention is a syringe for an automatic injection device having a flange on a syringe outer barrel that is inserted into a receiving portion provided on either the automatic injection device or a holder attached to the automatic injection device, and is characterized in that the flange is located on the tip side of the syringe outer barrel in the central axial direction of the syringe outer barrel and has a flange surface that is pressed against the inner wall surface of the receiving portion when the automatic injection device is operated, and a pair of guide grooves that are provided on both ends of the flange surface in directions perpendicular to both the central axial direction and the direction of insertion of the flange into the receiving portion and into which each of a pair of protruding pins protruding from the inner wall surface of the receiving portion is inserted when the flange is inserted into the receiving portion.
[0011] It is also preferable that the distance between the pair of guide grooves narrows on the tip side in the direction of insertion of the flange into the receiving portion. Effect of the Invention
[0012] According to the present disclosure, the syringe holder can be attached with a simple operation while ensuring the pressure-receiving area of the flange. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0014] Hereinafter, an example of a syringe for an automatic injection device according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Hereinafter, the syringe for an automatic injection device will be described as a syringe. Also, a liquid such as a contrast medium filled in the syringe barrel 11 will be referred to as a liquid.
[0015] 1, syringe 10 is attached to syringe mounting portion 101 of automatic injection device 100, or to syringe mounting portion 121 of automatic injection device 120 via syringe holder 110. Syringe holder 110 is attached to holder receiving portion 122 provided on syringe mounting portion 121 of automatic injection device 120.
[0016] As shown in Fig. 2, the syringe 10 has a syringe outer cylinder 11 and a plunger 12. The syringe outer cylinder 11 is a cylindrical member formed of, for example, a synthetic resin material. The syringe outer cylinder 11 has a barrel tip 15 at one end in the direction of a central axis C1 of the syringe outer cylinder 11 and a flange 20 at the other end in the direction of the central axis C1. The barrel tip 15 of the syringe outer cylinder 11 has a connector shape with a threaded portion formed on the inner circumferential surface, and can be connected to a connector portion provided at one end of a liquid delivery tube (not shown).
[0017] The plunger 12 is inserted into the syringe barrel 11 from the other end of the syringe barrel 11. The plunger 12 can move along the direction of the central axis C1 of the syringe barrel 11 and can be pushed into the syringe barrel 11 or pulled out from the syringe barrel 11. For example, when the plunger 12 is pushed into the syringe barrel 11, the liquid filled in the syringe barrel 11 is sent from the barrel tip 15 of the syringe barrel 11 to a liquid delivery tube (not shown).
[0018] Next, the shape of the flange 20 will be described with reference to Fig. 3. Fig. 3(a) is a front view of the flange, and Fig. 3(b) is a rear view of the flange. Fig. 3(c) is a plan view of the flange, and Fig. 3(d) is a bottom view of the flange. Fig. 3(e) is a left side view of the flange, and Fig. 3(f) is a right side view of the flange. In Figs. 3(a) and 3(c), the syringe barrel 11 is indicated by a two-dot chain line.
[0019] The flange 20 is a substantially rectangular member with the longitudinal direction being the left-right direction in Figures 3(a) and 3(b) and the transverse direction being the up-down direction. If the longitudinal length of the flange 20 is L1 and the transverse length is L2, then the length L1 is, for example, L1 = 41 mm, and the length L2 is, for example, L2 = 36 mm. On the other hand, if the outer diameter of the syringe outer cylinder 11 is D1, then the outer diameter D1 is, for example, D1 = 33 mm.
[0020] A pair of guide grooves 21, 22 are provided at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the flange 20. The pair of guide grooves 21, 22 are provided on the flange surface 20a of the flange 20. The pair of guide grooves 21, 22 are parallel grooves extending in the short direction from the lower end to the upper end of the flange 20. Of the pair of guide grooves 21, 22, the guide groove 21 is a groove cut out from the flange surface 20a of the flange 20 to the side surface 20c (see FIG. 3(e)). Similarly, the guide groove 22 is a groove cut out from the flange surface 20a of the flange 20 to the side surface 20d (see FIG. 3(e)). When the widths of the pair of guide grooves 21, 22 on the flange surface 20a are W1 and W2, the widths W1 and W2 are, for example, W1=W2=2 mm. Also, the depth H1 of one of the guide grooves 21, 22 is, for example, H1=1.5 mm. When the thickness of flange 20 is H0, thickness H0 is, for example, 3.2 mm. The pair of guide grooves 21, 22 have the same length. That is, when flange 20 is attached to flange receiving portion 111 provided on syringe holder 110 or flange receiving portion 102 provided on automatic injection device 100, the longitudinal direction of flange 20 is parallel to the horizontal direction.
[0021] Of the pair of guide grooves 21, 22, side surface 25 of guide groove 21 is composed of side surface 25a extending in the short direction of flange 20 and side surface 25b inclined from side surface 25a toward the center in the longitudinal direction of flange 20 toward the lower end of flange 20. Similarly, side surface 26 of guide groove 22 is composed of side surface 26a extending in the short direction of flange 20 and side surface 26b inclined from side surface 26a toward the lower end of flange 20 toward the center in the longitudinal direction of flange 20. That is, the distance between the pair of guide grooves 21, 22 is narrower on the tip side in the direction of insertion of flange 20 into flange receiving portion 111 provided in syringe holder 110 or flange receiving portion 102 provided in automatic injection device 100.
[0022] For example, when syringe 10 is mounted on syringe mounting portion 101 provided on automatic injection device 100, protruding pins 103, 104 provided on flange receiving portion 102 of syringe mounting portion 101 are inserted into a pair of guide grooves 21, 22, respectively (see FIG. 1). Also, when syringe 10 is mounted on automatic injection device 120 via syringe holder 110, protruding pins 112, 113 provided on flange receiving portion 111 provided on syringe holder 110 are inserted into a pair of guide grooves 21, 22, respectively (see FIG. 1).
[0023] Since side surfaces 25, 26 of the pair of guide grooves 21, 22 described above have side surfaces 25b and 26b, even if flange 20 is inserted into syringe holder 110 with its longitudinal direction inclined relative to the horizontal direction, flange 20 rotates until its longitudinal direction becomes parallel to the horizontal direction and is attached to syringe holder 110. The same applies when syringe 10 is attached to syringe attachment portion 101 of automatic injection device 100.
[0024] When the longitudinal direction of flange 20 is parallel to the horizontal direction, both longitudinal ends of flange 20 are located at both ends of flange receiving portion 111 of syringe holder 110 (see FIG. 5(b)). In other words, when plunger 12 of syringe 10 is pressed, the area (pressure-receiving area) over which flange surface 20a of flange 20 is pressed against inner wall surface 111a of flange receiving portion 111 of syringe holder 110 is maximized.
[0025] As discussed above, syringe 10 is mounted either directly to autoinjector 100 or, using syringe holder 110, to autoinjector 120.
[0026] As shown in FIG. 1, automatic injection device 100 has a flange receiving portion 102 in addition to a syringe mounting portion 101. Among the inner surfaces constituting flange receiving portion 102, protruding pins 103 and 104 protrude toward inner wall surface 102b on inner wall surface 102a facing flange surface 20a. The distance between protruding pins 103 and 104 is the same as or slightly wider than the distance from the center of width of guide groove 21 to the center of width of guide groove 22. The thickness of flange receiving portion 102 and the protruding amount of protruding pins 103 and 104 are set to a thickness that allows protruding pins 103 and 104 to be inserted into guide grooves 21 and 22 of flange 20 when flange 20 of syringe 10 is inserted into flange receiving portion 102. As a result, when flange 20 is inserted into flange receiving portion 102, the direction of movement of flange 20 is regulated by protruding pins 103 and 104.
[0027] As shown in FIG. 4(a) and FIG. 4(b), the syringe holder 110 is a member having a flange receiving portion 111 and a syringe receiving portion 115 into which the syringe outer cylinder 11 is inserted. Hereinafter, the left-right direction in FIG. 4 is referred to as a width direction W3. Among the inner surfaces constituting the flange receiving portion 111, protruding pins 112 and 113 protrude toward the inner wall surface 111b on the inner wall surface 111a facing the flange surface 20a. The interval between the protruding pins 112 and 113 in the width direction W3 is the same as or slightly wider than the interval from the center of the width of the guide groove 21 to the center of the width of the guide groove 22. The thickness of the flange receiving portion 111 and the protruding amount of the protruding pins 112 and 113 are thicknesses that allow the protruding pins 112 and 113 to be inserted into the guide grooves 21 and 22 of the flange 20 when the flange 20 of the syringe 10 is inserted into the flange receiving portion 111. In this case as well, when the flange 20 is inserted into the flange receiving portion 111, the direction of movement thereof is restricted by the protruding pins 112 and 113.
[0028] Next, a procedure for attaching syringe 10 to syringe holder 110 will be described. Note that the procedure for attaching syringe 10 to automatic injection device 100 is the same as the procedure for attaching syringe 10 to syringe holder 110, and therefore a description of the case of attaching syringe 10 to automatic injection device 100 will be omitted.
[0029] 5(a) and 5(b), the syringe 10 is attached to the syringe holder 110. At this time, the flange 20 of the syringe 10 is received in the flange receiving portion 111 of the syringe holder 110. When the flange 20 of the syringe 10 is received in the flange receiving portion 111 of the syringe holder 110, the protruding pin 112 provided on the inner wall surface 111a is received in the guide groove 21 of the flange 20. At the same time, the protruding pin 113 provided on the inner wall surface 111a is received in the guide groove 22 of the flange 20.
[0030] As described above, the distance between the protruding pins 112 and 113 is the same as or slightly wider than the distance from the width center of the guide groove 21 to the width center of the guide groove 22. As a result, when the flange 20 is inserted into the flange receiving portion 111, the direction of movement of the flange 20 is restricted by the protruding pins 112 and 113.
[0031] Further, the side surface 25b of the guide groove 21 is inclined toward the midpoint in the longitudinal direction of the flange 20 with respect to the side surface 25a. Similarly, the side surface 26b of the guide groove 22 is inclined toward the midpoint in the longitudinal direction of the flange 20 with respect to the side surface 26a. Therefore, even if the flange 20 rotates a certain amount around the central axis C1 direction of the syringe outer cylinder 11 as an axis, the flange 20 of the syringe 10 rotates around the central axis C1 direction of the syringe outer cylinder 11 as an axis in the process of being received in the flange receiving portion 111 of the syringe holder 110, as shown in FIG. As a result, the protruding pins 112 and 113 are inserted into the guide grooves 21 and 22, and the flange 20 received in the flange receiving portion 111 is held so that the longitudinal direction of the flange 20 is horizontal. In this manner, syringe 10 can be attached to syringe holder 110 by the simple operation of inserting flange 20 of syringe 10 into flange receiving portion 111 of syringe holder 110. The same effects can also be obtained when syringe 10 is directly attached to automatic injection device 100.
[0032] In this state, both ends of flange 20 in the longitudinal direction are located at both ends of flange receiving portion 111 of syringe holder 110 in width direction W3. In this state, the pressure receiving area of flange 20 is secured. In addition, a pair of guide grooves 21, 22 of flange 20 are provided at both ends of flange 20 in the longitudinal direction. Therefore, even if both ends of flange 20 in the longitudinal direction are pressed against inner wall surface 111a of flange receiving portion 111 when plunger 12 of syringe 10 is pressed, the pressing force of flange 20 can be received, and damage to flange 20 can be prevented. The same applies when syringe 10 is attached to syringe mounting portion 101 of automatic injection device 100.
[0033] The results of measuring the pressure resistance of the flange are shown below. As shown in Fig. 7, syringe 140 was attached to jig 145 so that tip 142 of syringe outer cylinder 141 of syringe 140 was facing downward, and the syringe was placed on a pressure tester (not shown), and the pressure resistance was measured when plunger 143 of syringe 140 was pressed with the pressure tester. When syringe 140 was attached to jig 145, flange surface 144a of flange 144 was in contact with upper surface 145a of jig 145.
[0034] The shapes of the flanges are as follows. The flange described in this embodiment (see FIG. 3) was used as Example 1. A conventionally used flange 150 (see FIG. 8(a)) was used as Comparative Example 1. A flange 160 (see FIG. 8(b)) having a notch in the arc portion was used as Comparative Example 2. Comparative Example 2 is the flange used in the above-mentioned Patent Document 2.
[0035] [Table 1]
[0036] As shown in Table 1, the pressure resistance of the flange of Example 1 is 47.18 × 10 5 N / m 2 In Comparative Example 1 and Comparative Example 2, the withstand voltage performance was 47.18×10 5 N / m 2 That is, it was found that the flange of Example 1 had the same pressure resistance as the flanges of Comparative Examples 1 and 2.
[0037] <Summary of effects> The automatic injection device includes a syringe for use in an automatic injection device, the syringe barrel having a flange that is inserted into a flange receiving portion provided on either an automatic injection device or a syringe holder that is attached to an automatic injection device. The flange is located on the barrel tip of the syringe barrel in the direction of a central axis of the syringe barrel, and is pressed against inner wall surfaces of the flange receiving portions when the automatic injection device is operated. It is characterized by having a flange surface 20a and a pair of guide grooves 21, 22 provided at both ends of the flange surface 20a in directions perpendicular to both the direction of the central axis C1 and the direction of insertion of the flange 20 into the flange receiving portion 102, 111, and into which a pair of protruding pins 103, 104 or a pair of protruding pins 112, 113 protruding from the inner wall surfaces 102a, 111a of the flange receiving portions 102, 111 are inserted when the flange 20 is inserted into the flange receiving portions 102, 111.
[0038] This allows attachment to the automatic injection device 100, 120 by the simple operation of inserting the pair of protruding pins 103, 104 or the pair of protruding pins 112, 113 provided on the flange receiving portion 102, 111 into the pair of guide grooves 21, 22 provided on the flange 20. Furthermore, by performing the operation of inserting the pair of protruding pins 103, 104 or the pair of protruding pins 112, 113 provided on the flange receiving portion 102, 111 into the pair of guide grooves 21, 22 provided on the flange 20, the pressure-receiving area of the flange 20 attached to the flange receiving portion 102, 111 can be appropriately secured.
[0039] Further, the distance between the pair of guide grooves 21, 22 narrows on the tip side in the insertion direction of the flange 20 into the flange receiving portions 102, 111.
[0040] According to this, even if the flange 20 is received in the flange receiving portions 102, 111 in a position rotated about the central axis C1, the flange 20 can be received in the flange receiving portions 102, 111 with the longitudinal direction of the flange 20 parallel to the horizontal direction. This ensures a pressure-receiving area, making it possible to prevent damage to the flange 20. [Explanation of symbols]
