Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

[0009] [Description of Embodiments of the Present Disclosure] First, embodiments of the present disclosure will be listed and described. The furniture fall prevention device according to the present disclosure is installed between the furniture and the floor surface to prevent the furniture from falling. The furniture fall prevention device is plate-shaped and includes a resin base portion including a first surface located on one side in the thickness direction and a second surface located on the other side in the thickness direction and arranged to be inclined with respect to the first surface, and an adhesive portion made of an adhesive gel and having a different material from the base portion and arranged on the second surface.

[0010] According to the furniture fall prevention device having such a configuration, since it includes the base portion having the above-described configuration, the furniture fall prevention device can be installed between the furniture and the floor surface with the furniture in a rear-tilted state, and the risk of the furniture falling forward during vibration can be greatly reduced. Here, since it includes an adhesive portion arranged on the second surface and composed of an adhesive gel, the degree of adhesion between the bottom surface of the furniture and the adhesive portion can be increased. In the adhesive portion, it is deformed so as to be crushed by the weight of the furniture, and the contact area between the adhesive portion and the furniture becomes large. Therefore, during vibration, the displacement of the furniture fall prevention device can be suppressed. Further, since the adhesive portion has a certain degree of cushioning property, it can absorb vibration and improve the vibration damping performance. From the above, according to such a furniture fall prevention device, it is possible to surely prevent the furniture from falling during vibration.

[0011] In the above furniture tipping prevention device, the outer shape of the base portion may have a shape in which the length in the first direction is longer than the length in the second direction orthogonal to the first direction when viewed in the thickness direction. The adhesive portion may be in a strip shape extending along the first direction. By doing so, by setting the first direction as the width direction of the furniture, the adhesive portion extending in a strip shape and the bottom surface of the furniture can be brought into wide contact. Therefore, the function of preventing the furniture from tipping over can be more effectively exerted.

[0012] In the above furniture tipping prevention device, the outer shape of the base portion may be rectangular when viewed in the thickness direction. By doing so, it can be manufactured relatively easily, and when the width of the furniture is long, it becomes easy to prepare a plurality of furniture tipping prevention devices and arrange them side by side without gaps in the width direction. Therefore, the function of preventing the furniture from tipping over can be further exerted.

[0013] In the above furniture tipping prevention device, a plurality of adhesive portions may be provided at intervals. By doing so, the plurality of adhesive portions can be efficiently arranged in the region in contact with the bottom surface of the furniture. Therefore, the furniture can be prevented from tipping over more efficiently.

[0014] In the above furniture tipping prevention device, the adhesive portion may be formed with a groove portion that is recessed in the thickness direction and extends along the first direction. By doing so, when the furniture is placed on the furniture tipping prevention device, the side wall portion defining the groove portion is likely to deform toward the groove portion side, and the contact area between the bottom surface of the furniture and the adhesive portion can be more efficiently widened, and the degree of adhesion between the bottom surface of the furniture and the adhesive portion can be increased. Therefore, the furniture can be more reliably prevented from tipping over.

[0015] In the above furniture tipping prevention device, the adhesive part may include a first side wall part extending along a first direction, a second side wall part extending along the first direction and arranged at an interval from the first side wall part in a second direction, and a bottom wall part arranged along a second surface and connecting the first side wall part and the second side wall part. The groove part may be defined by the first side wall part, the second side wall part, and the bottom wall part. By doing so, when the furniture is placed on the furniture tipping prevention device, the first side wall part and the second side wall part are easily deformed toward the groove part, the contact area between the bottom surface of the furniture and the adhesive part can be more efficiently widened, and the degree of adhesion between the bottom surface of the furniture and the adhesive part can be increased. Therefore, the tipping of the furniture can be more reliably prevented.

[0016] In the above furniture tipping prevention device, the second surface may include a first region that is a flat surface and a second region in which a plurality of steps are formed. The thickness of the second region may be thinner than the thickness of the first region. The adhesive part may be arranged in the first region. By doing so, the adhesive part can be easily and reliably attached to the second surface of the base part. Also, even when the bottom surface of the furniture is in a position deviated from the adhesive part, it can be brought into contact with the bottom surface of the furniture in the second region where a plurality of steps are formed. Therefore, the tipping of the furniture can be more reliably prevented.

[0017] In the above furniture tipping prevention device, the thickness of the adhesive part may be 0.5 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less. By doing so, vibration can be efficiently absorbed while maintaining the cushioning property required for the furniture tipping prevention device.

[0018] In the above furniture tipping prevention device, the color of the adhesive part and the color of the base part may be different. By doing so, when placing the furniture on the furniture tipping prevention device, the position of the adhesive part with a different color can be easily visually recognized, and it becomes easy to place the furniture on the adhesive part. Therefore, the proper installation of the furniture tipping prevention device can be facilitated.

[0019] In the above furniture tipping prevention device, the material of the adhesive part may be a styrene-based elastomer. The material of the base part may be an EVA resin. By doing so, the contact state between the furniture and the furniture tipping prevention device by the adhesive part can be more reliably ensured, and the base part and the floor surface slide moderately during vibration, suppressing the tipping of the furniture caused by the acceleration of vibration when the vibration continues. Therefore, the tipping of the furniture can be more reliably prevented.

[0020] In the above furniture tipping prevention device, the base part and the adhesive part may be integrated by extrusion molding. By doing so, the base part and the adhesive part can be more reliably bonded, and the adhesive part can be firmly attached to the base part. Then, the risk of the adhesive part detaching from the base part can be greatly reduced, and the vibration absorption by the base part and the adhesive part can be performed more efficiently.

[0021] [Details of Embodiments of the Present Disclosure] Next, embodiments of the furniture tipping prevention device of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 11 is a side view showing a part of the furniture fall prevention device in a state where the furniture fall prevention device in Embodiment 1 is installed between the furniture and the floor surface. Note that FIG. 4 is a view seen from the direction opposite to the arrow Z. FIG. 5 is a view seen from the direction of the arrow Z. FIG. 6 is a view seen from the direction opposite to the arrow Y. FIG. 7 is a view seen from the direction of the arrow Y. FIG. 8 is a view seen from the direction of the arrow X. FIG. 9 is a view seen from the direction opposite to the arrow X.

[0023] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 11, the furniture fall prevention device 11 in Embodiment 1 is plate-shaped. The furniture fall prevention device 11 is installed between the furniture 12 and the floor surface 13 to prevent the furniture 12 from falling (see particularly FIG. 11). That is, the furniture fall prevention device 11 is installed and used between the furniture 12 for which it is desired to prevent falling when an earthquake occurs, specifically, furniture 12 such as a chest of drawers or a shelf, and the floor surface 13 of the room in which the furniture 12 is installed. And the furniture fall prevention device 11 prevents the furniture 12 placed thereon from falling.

[0024] The furniture tipping prevention device 11 includes a base portion 14 and an adhesive portion 15. The base portion 14 is made of resin. The base portion 14 is composed of a relatively hard rigid material. As the material of the base portion 14, for example, a non-migrating elastomer is used. In the present embodiment, the base portion 14 is composed of EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) resin. The base portion 14 is excellent in flexibility and rubber elasticity.

[0025] The base portion 14 is plate-shaped. The thickness direction of the base portion 14 is the so-called height direction of the base portion 14, and is the direction indicated by the arrow Z or the reverse direction thereof. The thickness direction of the base portion 14 is the same as the thickness direction of the furniture tipping prevention device 11. The outer shape of the base portion 14 is rectangular when viewed in the thickness direction (see FIGS. 4 and 5 in particular). Note that a rectangle means a quadrilateral with all four corner angles equal, and includes a square with all four corner angles and all four side lengths equal. Also, the shape of the rectangle does not have to be a geometrically exact rectangle. For example, the opposing sides do not have to be exactly parallel, and the sides may be connected by curves. Also, the corners may be rounded.

[0026] When viewed in the thickness direction, the longitudinal direction of the base portion 14 is the first direction, which is the direction indicated by the arrow X or the direction opposite thereto. The short side direction of the base portion 14 is the second direction orthogonal to the first direction, which is the direction indicated by the arrow Y or the direction opposite thereto. The outer shape of the base portion 14 has a shape in which the length in the first direction is longer than the length in the second direction orthogonal to the first direction when viewed in the thickness direction. The length L1 of the base portion 14 in the first direction is the length in the first direction (X direction) from one end face 21a of the base portion 14 in the first direction to the other end face 21b of the base portion 14 in the first direction. For example, 300 mm is selected. The length L2 of the base portion 14 in the second direction is the length in the second direction (Y direction) from one end portion 22a of the base portion 14 in the second direction to the other end portion 22b of the base portion 14 in the second direction. For example, 43 mm is selected. Note that the length L3 of the base portion 14 in the thickness direction is the length in the thickness direction (Z direction) from a first surface 24a, which is one end portion of the base portion 14 in the thickness direction and will be described later, to the other end portion 23a of the base portion 14 in the thickness direction. For example, 9.5 mm is selected.

[0027] The base portion 14 includes a first surface 24a located on one side in the thickness direction and a second surface 24b located on the other side in the thickness direction. The first surface 24a is a flat surface. In the present embodiment, the first surface 24a is parallel to the X-Y plane. The first surface 24a is arranged to face the floor surface 13 when the furniture fall prevention device 11 is installed. That is, when installed between the furniture 12 for preventing falling and the floor surface 13, the entire surface of the first surface 24a is arranged to contact the floor surface 13.

[0028] The second surface 24b is arranged to be inclined with respect to the first surface 24a. Since the second surface 24b is inclined with respect to the first surface 24a, the overall shape of the furniture fall prevention device 11 has a so-called wedge shape. The second surface 24b intersects the first surface 24a at one end portion 22a in the second direction. That is, the second surface 24b is connected to the first surface 24a at the second region 25b, specifically, at the end portion 22a in the second direction of the second region 25b.

[0029] The second surface 24b includes a first region 25a and a second region 25b. The boundary 26 between the first region 25a and the second region 25b extends in the X direction. The thickness of the second region 25b is thinner than the thickness of the first region 25a. The first region 25a is a plane. The first region 25a is inclined with respect to the first surface 24a. A plurality of steps 31a, 31b, 31c, 31d are formed in the second region 25b. The steps 31a, 31b, 31c, 31d are arranged in order from the closest to the end 22a. The step 31a is composed of a surface 32a inclined in the X-Y plane and a surface 33a parallel to the X-Z plane. The step 31b is composed of a surface 32b inclined in the X-Y plane and a surface 33b parallel to the X-Z plane. The step 31c is composed of a surface 32c inclined in the X-Y plane and a surface 33c parallel to the X-Z plane. The step 31d is composed of a surface 32d inclined in the X-Y plane and a surface 33d parallel to the X-Z plane. Corners 34a where the surface 32a and the surface 33a intersect, corners 34b where the surface 32b and the surface 33b intersect, corners 34c where the surface 32c and the surface 33c intersect, and corners 34d where the surface 32d and the surface 33d intersect respectively constitute catches in the second region 25b of the base portion 14 in the Y direction. As the height of each of the steps 31a, 31b, 31c, 31d, that is, the Z-direction length of the surfaces 33a, 33b, 33c, 33d, for example, a length of 0.3 mm or more and 0.8 mm or less, specifically, 0.6 mm is selected.

[0030] The base portion 14 includes a protruding portion 27 that protrudes in the thickness direction. The protruding portion 27 is disposed adjacent to the second surface 24b. Specifically, the protruding portion 27 is disposed adjacent to the second surface 24b in the Y direction, which is the second direction. The protruding portion 27 also has a shape that extends in the longitudinal direction. That is, the protruding portion 27 has a shape that extends from one end face 21a to the other end face 21b in the X direction. The protruding portion 27 includes an end portion 23a that is located on the other side in the above-described thickness direction (Z direction). The protruding portion 27 is not straight in the Z direction but is inclined with respect to the first surface 24a. The protruding portion 27 includes a rear surface 28b that is located on the second region 25b side. Note that the front surface 28a of the furniture tipping prevention device 11 is continuous with the protruding portion 27 and is one end in the Y direction.

[0031] The adhesive portion 15 is attached on the second surface 24b. In the present embodiment, a plurality of adhesive portions 15 are provided. Specifically, the adhesive portion 15 includes a strip-shaped first adhesive portion 41a and a second adhesive portion 41b that each extend along the first direction. That is, in the present embodiment, two, i.e., the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b, are provided. The first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b are provided at intervals. Specifically, the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b are arranged at intervals in the second direction (Y direction). In the second direction, the first adhesive portion 41a is disposed closer to the protruding portion 27 than the second adhesive portion 41b. In the second direction, the second adhesive portion 41b is disposed closer to the second region 25b than the first adhesive portion 41a. The first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b are arranged in parallel when viewed in the thickness direction (Z direction).

[0032] The adhesion part 15 is made of a material different from that of the base part 14 and is composed of an adhesive gel. As the material of the adhesion part 15, that is, the material of the first adhesion part 41a and the second adhesion part 41b, for example, a styrene-based elastomer is used. Specifically, it is composed of a styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer (TPS (Thermoplastic Styrenic Elastomer)). In this embodiment, it is composed of a styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer. The first adhesion part 41a and the second adhesion part 41b are excellent in adhesiveness and elasticity and have a certain degree of cushioning property. Examples of the material of the first adhesion part 41a and the second adhesion part 41b include SBS (S: styrene, B: butadiene), SIS (S: styrene, I: isoprene), SEBS (S: styrene, E: ethylene, B: butylene), SEPS (S: styrene, E: ethylene, P: propylene), etc. Note that the adhesive gel constituting the adhesion part 15 can sufficiently withstand multiple uses. That is, the adhesion to the bottom surface 16 of the furniture 12 when installing the furniture fall prevention device 11 and the peeling from the bottom surface 16 of the furniture 12 when the furniture 12 is moved, etc. can be repeatedly performed multiple times. In this regard, it is different from an adhesive tape limited to single-use such as a double-sided tape. Also, even when dirt adheres to the adhesion part 15, for example, the dirt can be removed by washing the adhesion part 15 with water.

[0033] In the first adhesive portion 41a, a groove portion 42a that is recessed in the thickness direction and extends along the first direction is formed. Specifically, the first adhesive portion 41a includes a first side wall portion 43a and a second side wall portion 44a that define the groove portion 42a, and a bottom wall portion 45a. The first adhesive portion 41a is U-shaped when viewed from the first direction. The first side wall portion 43a and the second side wall portion 44a extend in a direction rising from the second surface 24b. The bottom wall portion 45a is disposed along the second surface 24b. The first side wall portion 43a, the second side wall portion 44a, and the bottom wall portion 45a each have a shape that extends along the first direction. That is, the first adhesive portion 41a includes a first side wall portion 43a that extends along the first direction, a second side wall portion 44a that extends along the first direction and is spaced apart from the first side wall portion 43a in the second direction, and a bottom wall portion 45a that is disposed along the second surface 24b and connects the first side wall portion 43a and the second side wall portion 44a. Note that the second adhesive portion 41b is similarly recessed in the thickness direction, and a groove portion 42b that extends along the first direction is formed. The second adhesive portion 41b includes a first side wall portion 43b and a second side wall portion 44b that define the groove portion 42b, and a bottom wall portion 45b. The second adhesive portion 41b is also U-shaped when viewed from the first direction. That is, the second adhesive portion 41b includes a first side wall portion 43b that extends along the first direction, a second side wall portion 44b that extends along the first direction and is spaced apart from the first side wall portion 43b in the second direction, and a bottom wall portion 45b that is disposed along the second surface 24b and connects the first side wall portion 43b and the second side wall portion 44b.

[0034] The thickness L4 of the first adhesive portion 41a shown in FIG. 10 is 0.5 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less. In the present embodiment, for example, 1.0 mm is selected as the thickness L4 of the first adhesive portion 41a. Also, the thickness L5 of the bottom wall portion 45a shown in FIG. 10 is 0.3 mm or more and 0.5 mm or less. In the present embodiment, for example, 0.4 mm is selected as the thickness L5 of the bottom wall portion 45a. That is, the depth of the groove portion 42a is 0.6 mm. As the width of the groove portion 42a in the second direction, for example, 1.0 mm is selected. As the widths of the first side wall portion 43a and the second side wall portion 44a in the second direction, for example, 2.0 mm each is selected. The same dimensions are adopted for the second adhesive portion 41b. Also, the width of the first adhesive portion 41a in the second direction, the widths of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b in the second direction, and the interval between the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b in the second direction can be made the same, for example, 5 mm each.

[0035] The color of the adhesive portion 15, that is, the colors of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b, are different from the color of the base portion 14. In the present embodiment, the color of the base portion 14 is, for example, translucent white. On the other hand, the colors of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b are translucent blue. With such a configuration, the positions of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b can be easily grasped on the second surface 24b of the base portion 14.

[0036] The base portion 14 and the adhesive portions 15, that is, the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b, are integrally formed by extrusion molding. In this case, it is formed by so-called two-color molding. That is, no separate adhesive is disposed between the base portion 14 and each of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b. By doing so, the base portion 14 can be more reliably bonded to each of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b, and each of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b can be firmly attached to the base portion 14. Then, the possibility of each of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b detaching from the base portion 14 can be greatly reduced, and the vibration absorption by the base portion 14 and each of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b can be performed more efficiently.

[0037] Here, such a furniture tipping preventer 11 is installed between the furniture 12 and the floor surface 13 as follows. Taking the width direction of the furniture 12 as the first direction, first, the front surface 17 of the furniture 12 arranged along the wall of the room is tilted so as to be rearwardly inclined. Then, a gap is formed between the floor surface 13 and the bottom surface 16 of the furniture 12. The furniture tipping preventer 11 is installed in this gap with the protruding portion 27 facing forward. At this time, it is arranged so that the floor surface 13 and the first surface 24a are in contact. After releasing the rearward inclination state of the furniture 12, the position of the furniture tipping preventer 11 is adjusted and installed so that the bottom surface 16 of the furniture 12 is positioned on the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b. Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 11, the furniture 12 is installed in a slightly rearwardly inclined state. Here, the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b are installed in a state of being crushed by the weight of the furniture 12. In this case, the second adhesive portion 41b closer to the protruding portion 27 will be more greatly crushed. Also, in this case, it is preferably installed so that the rear surface 28b of the protruding portion 27 and the front surface 17 of the furniture 12 are in contact.

[0038] In addition, when the furniture 12 is long in the width direction, in this case the first direction (X direction), a plurality of furniture fall preventers 11 are prepared and arranged side by side in the first direction with the adjacent end faces 21a and 21b facing each other. In this case, they may be arranged so that the adjacent end faces 21a and 21b are in contact with each other. Then, after the furniture 12 is tilted backward, a plurality of furniture fall preventers 11 are arranged between the furniture 12 and the floor surface 13 to cancel the tilted state of the furniture 12, and the plurality of furniture fall preventers 11 may be installed between the furniture 12 and the floor surface 13.

[0039] According to the furniture fall preventer 11 having such a configuration, since it includes the base portion 14 having the above-described configuration, the furniture fall preventer 11 can be installed between the furniture 12 and the floor surface 13 with the furniture 12 tilted backward, and the risk of the furniture 12 falling to the front surface 17 side during vibration can be greatly reduced. Here, since it includes the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b which are arranged on the second surface 24b and are composed of an adhesive gel, the degree of adhesion between the bottom surface 16 of the furniture 12 and the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b can be increased. In the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b, they are deformed so as to be crushed by the own weight of the furniture 12, and the contact area between each of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b and the furniture 12 becomes large. Therefore, during vibration, displacement of the furniture fall preventer 11 can be suppressed. Further, since the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b each have a certain degree of cushioning property, vibration can be absorbed and the vibration damping performance can be improved. From the above, according to such a furniture fall preventer 11, reliable prevention of furniture falling during vibration can be realized.

[0040] In the present embodiment, the outer shape of the base portion 14 has a shape in which the length in the first direction is longer than the length in the second direction orthogonal to the first direction when viewed in the thickness direction. And the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b are strip-shaped extending along the first direction. Therefore, by setting the first direction as the width direction of the furniture 12, the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b extending in a strip shape can be brought into wide contact with the bottom surface 16 of the furniture 12. Accordingly, the function of preventing the furniture 12 from tipping over can be exhibited more effectively.

[0041] In the present embodiment, the outer shape of the base portion is rectangular when viewed in the thickness direction. Therefore, it can be manufactured relatively easily, and when the width of the furniture 12 is long, it becomes easy to prepare a plurality of furniture tipping preventers 11 and arrange them side by side without gaps in the width direction. Accordingly, the function of preventing the furniture from tipping over can be exhibited more effectively.

[0042] In the present embodiment, a plurality of adhesive portions 15 are provided at intervals. Specifically, the adhesive portions 15 include the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b. Therefore, the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b can be efficiently arranged in the region in contact with the bottom surface 16 of the furniture 12. Accordingly, the furniture 12 can be prevented from tipping over more efficiently.

[0043] In this embodiment, in the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b, groove portions 42a and 42b that are recessed in the thickness direction and extend along the first direction are respectively formed. Specifically, the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b each include a first side wall portion 43a and 43b that extend along the first direction, a second side wall portion 44a and 44b that extend along the first direction and are spaced apart from the first side wall portions 43a and 43b in the second direction, and a bottom wall portion 45a and 45b that are disposed along the second surface 24b, specifically, the first region 25a of the second surface 24b, and connect the first side wall portions 43a and 43b and the second side wall portions 44a and 44b respectively. The groove portion 42a is defined by the first side wall portion 43a, the second side wall portion 44a, and the bottom wall portion 45a. The groove portion 42b is defined by the first side wall portion 43b, the second side wall portion 44b, and the bottom wall portion 45b. Therefore, when the furniture 12 is disposed on the furniture anti-tipping device 11, the first side wall portions 43a and 43b and the second side wall portions 44a and 44b are each likely to deform toward the groove portions 42a and 42b, and the contact areas between the bottom surface 16 of the furniture 12 and the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b can be more efficiently widened, and the degree of adhesion between the bottom surface 16 of the furniture 12 and each of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b can be increased. Therefore, the tipping of the furniture 12 can be more reliably prevented.

[0044] In this embodiment, the second surface 24b includes a first region 25a that is a flat surface and a second region 25b in which a plurality of steps 31a, 31b, 31c, and 31d are formed. The thickness of the second region 25b is thinner than the thickness of the first region 25a. The first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b are respectively disposed in the first region 25a. Therefore, each of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b can be easily and reliably attached to the second surface 24b of the base portion 14. Further, even when the bottom surface 16 of the furniture 12 is at a position deviated from each of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b, the bottom surface 16 of the furniture 12 can be brought into contact with the second region 25b in which the plurality of steps 31a, 31b, 31c, and 31d are formed. Therefore, the tipping of the furniture 12 can be more reliably prevented.

[0045] In the present embodiment, the base portion 14 is disposed adjacent to the second surface 24b and includes a protruding portion 27 that protrudes in the thickness direction. Therefore, even when the front surface 17 of the furniture 12 tends to fall forward during vibration, the front surface 17 of the furniture 12 is caught by the protruding portion 27, and the risk of the furniture 12 falling forward can be significantly reduced. Thus, the furniture 12 can be more reliably prevented from tipping over.

[0046] In the present embodiment, the thickness L4 of the first adhesive portion 41a and the thickness L4 of the second adhesive portion 41b are 0.5 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less. Therefore, vibration can be efficiently absorbed while maintaining the cushioning property required for the furniture tipping preventer 11.

[0047] In the present embodiment, the color of the first adhesive portion 41a and the color of each of the second adhesive portions 41b are different from the color of the base portion 14. Therefore, when placing the furniture 12 on the furniture tipping preventer 11, the positions of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portions 41b with different colors can be easily visually recognized, and it becomes easy to place the furniture 12 on each of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portions 41b. Thus, the proper installation of the furniture tipping preventer 11 can be facilitated.

[0048] In the present embodiment, the material of each of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b is a styrene-based elastomer. The material of the base portion 14 is an EVA resin. Therefore, the contact state between the furniture 12 and the furniture tipping preventer 11 by each of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b can be more reliably ensured, and the base portion 14 and the floor surface 13 slide moderately during vibration, suppressing the tipping over of the furniture 12 due to the acceleration of vibration when the vibration continues. Thus, the furniture 12 can be more reliably prevented from tipping over.

[0049] (Other embodiments) In the above-described embodiment, a plurality of adhesive portions 15 are provided, but the present invention is not limited to this, and only one adhesive portion 15 may be provided. Further, although the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b each have a shape that extends in a strip shape along the first direction, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b may each meander and extend in the first direction, or a plurality of them may be arranged at intervals in the first direction. That is, in the first adhesive portion 41a, a plurality of them may be arranged at intervals in the first direction. Of course, it is not limited to a strip shape, and in the first region 25a of the second surface 24b, it may be formed to bulge so that the outer shape is circular or elliptical.

[0050] In the above-described embodiment, the color of the first adhesive portion 41a and the color of each of the second adhesive portions 41b are different from the color of the base portion 14, but the present invention is not limited to this, and they may be the same color. Of course, each of them may be a color that does not have transparency, and the positions of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b may be indicated by letters, symbols, or marks. Further, on the end faces 21a and 21b, marks indicating the positions of the first adhesive portion 41a and the second adhesive portion 41b may be marked.

[0051] In the above-described embodiment, the groove portions 42a and 42b are each defined by the first side wall portions 43a and 43b, the second side wall portions 44a and 44b, and the bottom wall portions 45a and 45b, but the present invention is not limited to this, and it may be defined by either one of the side wall portions and the bottom wall portion. That is, it may be L-shaped when viewed from the second direction.

[0052] In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the adhesive portion 15 may not have a groove portion. The adhesive portion 15 may be configured such that the cross-sectional area decreases toward the tip so that the tip is sharp, or may have a shape that bulges in a curved surface shape when viewed from the second direction. Further, the adhesive portion 15 may be solid cylindrical when viewed from the second direction, or may have a rectangular outer shape. Further, a configuration may be adopted in which voids or cavities are provided in the adhesive portion 15. By doing so, the adhesive portion 15 can be easily deformed. The ease of deformation also leads to easy deformation along the shape of the bottom surface 16 of the furniture 12, and the contact area can be made wider.

[0053] In the above-described embodiment, the outer shape of the base portion was rectangular when viewed in the thickness direction. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the outer diameter shape of the base portion may be other shapes, for example, a polygonal shape, a shape having an arc, a circular shape, or an elliptical shape.

[0054] In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the base portion 14 may not include the protruding portion 27. That is, in the base portion 14, the first region 25a of the second surface 24b may be continuous with the end surface in the second direction.

[0055] In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the plurality of steps formed in the second region 25b of the second surface 24b may not be provided. That is, the second surface 24b may be composed of one inclined plane.

[0056] It should be understood that the embodiments disclosed this time are illustrative in all respects and are not restrictive in any way. The scope of the present invention is defined not by the above description but by the claims, and is intended to include all modifications within the meaning and scope equivalent to the claims.
