Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a pants-type absorbent article. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, there has been known a pants-type absorbent article having a ventral side portion arranged on the ventral side of a wearer, a dorsal side portion arranged on the dorsal side of the wearer, and a crotch portion located between the ventral side portion and the dorsal side portion, and having a pair of side seal portions, a waist opening, and a pair of leg openings (see Patent Documents 1 and 2).The pants-type absorbent articles of Patent Documents 1 and 2 have an absorbent main body and an exterior body arranged on the non-skin-facing side of the absorbent main body. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2019-118554 [Patent Document 2] JP 2016-67511 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] In some conventional absorbent articles, longitudinally stretchable members that stretch in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article are arranged on the exterior body. In such absorbent articles, the stretching of the longitudinally stretchable members causes irregular wrinkles in the exterior body, which deteriorates the appearance of the absorbent article when laid flat. This defect can also occur in the absorbent articles of Patent Documents 1 and 2 mentioned above.
[0005] In detail, in Patent Document 1, the exterior body has a ventral side exterior member, a dorsal side exterior member, and a crotch exterior member connecting them, and the crotch exterior member has a skin-side sheet, a non-skin-side sheet, and a stretchable nonwoven fabric positioned therebetween that imparts stretchability to the absorbent article in the vertical direction. In this document, the skin-side sheet, the non-skin-side sheet, and the stretchable nonwoven fabric are joined by a plurality of scattered welds, so in the absorbent article of this document, when the stretchable nonwoven fabric shrinks, wrinkles extending in multiple directions occur in the skin-side sheet and the non-skin-side sheet, and the appearance when laid flat deteriorates.
[0006] The absorbent article of Patent Document 2 has a longitudinally stretchable section at the longitudinal center of the absorbent body in the front body section, the longitudinal length of which is stretchable, and a pull-up elastic member is provided laterally from the widthwise center of the absorbent body in the outer body of the front body section, the pull-up elastic member having a contractile force that pulls up the rear side of the front end of the longitudinally stretchable section diagonally upward and on both sides in the width direction when worn. In the absorbent article of this document, contraction of the pull-up elastic member may cause irregular wrinkles in the outer body, which may deteriorate the appearance when laid flat. In this document, the direction in which the pull-up elastic member contracts is a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the absorbent main body, making irregular wrinkles more likely to occur in the outer body. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article that can overcome the drawbacks of the prior art described above. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] The present invention relates to a pants-type absorbent article having a ventral portion arranged on the ventral side of a wearer, a dorsal portion arranged on the dorsal side of the wearer, and a crotch portion located between the ventral portion and the dorsal portion, and having a pair of side seal portions, a waist opening, and a pair of leg openings, and having a vertical direction corresponding to the front-to-back direction of the wearer and a horizontal direction perpendicular to the vertical direction. The pants-type absorbent article preferably comprises an absorbent main body and an outer body disposed on the non-skin-facing side of the absorbent main body. The outer body preferably has a waist region located at the periphery of the waist opening, a waist region located closer to the crotch portion than the waist region, and a crotch region located at the crotch portion. The exterior body preferably has an outer layer portion that forms the outer surface of the exterior body, and a vertically stretchable member that is arranged on the skin-facing side of the outer layer portion in the crotch region and that stretches in the vertical direction. The waist region and the torso region preferably include a laterally stretchable sheet that stretches in the laterally direction. The aforementioned outer layer and the longitudinally extensible members are preferably joined at adhesive portions extending in the transverse direction and arranged intermittently in the longitudinal direction. [Effects of the Invention]
[0008] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a pants-type absorbent article that has an excellent appearance when laid flat. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

[0010] The present invention will be described below based on preferred embodiments thereof. 1 to 4 show a pants-type disposable diaper (hereinafter referred to as "diaper") 1, which is one embodiment of the pants-type absorbent article of the present invention. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the diaper 1 has a longitudinal direction X corresponding to the front-to-back direction of a wearer and a transverse direction Y perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X. In addition, the diaper 1 has, in the longitudinal direction X, a ventral side portion A that is arranged on the ventral side of the wearer when worn, a dorsal side portion B that is arranged on the dorsal side of the wearer, and a crotch portion C located therebetween. The longitudinal direction X extends from the ventral side portion A through the crotch portion C to the dorsal side portion B.
[0011] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the diaper 1 comprises an absorbent body 2 and an exterior body 3 disposed on the non-skin-facing side of the absorbent body 2. The diaper 1 is formed by joining both side portions 3e, 3e along the longitudinal direction X of the outer casing 3 in the ventral portion A and both side portions 3f, 3f along the longitudinal direction X of the outer casing 3 in the dorsal portion B, forming a pair of side seal portions S, S, a waist opening WH, and a pair of leg openings LH, LH.
[0012] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the absorbent body 2 has a rectangular shape in a plan view, and is positioned in the center of the exterior body 3 in the lateral direction Y with its longitudinal direction aligned with the longitudinal direction X of the diaper 1, and extends in the longitudinal direction X from the ventral side portion A through the crotch portion C to the dorsal side portion B. As shown in FIG. 3, the absorbent body 2 has an absorbent body 23, a top sheet 21 arranged on the skin-facing side of the absorbent body 23, and a back sheet 22 arranged on the non-skin-facing side of the absorbent body 23. The absorbent body 23 has a shape that is long in the longitudinal direction X of the diaper 1, similar to the absorbent main body 2, and is disposed between the topsheet 21 and the backsheet 22. The topsheet 21, absorbent body 23 and backsheet 22 are integrated together by known joining means such as adhesion with an adhesive or fusion bonding.
[0013] The "skin-facing side" refers to the side of the diaper 1 or its constituent parts (e.g., the absorbent body 23) that faces the wearer's skin when the diaper 1 is worn, and the "non-skin-facing side" refers to the side that faces away from the wearer's skin when the diaper 1 is worn. Furthermore, "when worn" and "in a worn state" refer to a state in which the diaper 1 is worn while being maintained in the proper position.
[0014] 1 and 2, the exterior body 3 has a larger area than the absorbent main body 2 and extends outward from the periphery of the absorbent main body 2. In a plan view of the diaper 1 in an unfolded and stretched state as shown in Fig. 1, the exterior body 3 is constricted in the center in the longitudinal direction X, including the crotch region M described below, and the exterior body 3 as a whole has an hourglass shape. The exterior body 3 has a waist region W, a waist region D, and a crotch region M. The waist region W is located at the peripheral edge WE of the waist opening WH. The waist region D is located closer to the crotch region C than the waist region W. The crotch region M is located in the crotch region C. The exterior body 3 has a waist region W and a waist region D in each of the abdominal side portion A and the back side portion B. The boundary between the waist region D and the crotch region M coincides with the end of the side seal portion S on the crotch region C side. The waist region W and the waist region D include a laterally stretchable sheet that stretches in the lateral direction Y in at least a portion of their thickness direction. The laterally stretchable sheet will be described later.
[0015] The waist region W includes the peripheral edge WE of the waist opening WH. The waist region W can be, for example, an area that is within 5 cm of the peripheral edge WE of the waist opening WH. The ratio of the longitudinal length Lw of the waist region W to the longitudinal length Ls of the side seal portions S is preferably 20% or more, more preferably 22.5% or more, even more preferably 25% or more, and is preferably 40% or less, more preferably 37.5% or less, even more preferably 35% or less, and is preferably 20% to 40%, more preferably 22.5% to 37.5%, even more preferably 25% to 35%.
[0016] The exterior body 3 has a layered structure in which multiple members are layered. Specifically, the exterior body 3 has an outer layer 31 that forms the outer surface of the exterior body 3, and a vertically stretchable member 35 that is arranged on the skin-facing side of the outer layer 31 in the crotch region M. The vertically stretchable member 35 stretches in the vertical direction X. In this embodiment, the vertically stretchable member 35 and the outer layer 31 are adjacent to each other.
[0017] The outer layer portion 31 comprises an inner layer sheet 32, an outer layer sheet 33 disposed on the non-skin-facing side of the inner layer sheet 32, and a plurality of thread-like or strip-like elastic members 34 disposed between the sheets 32, 33. The elastic members 34 are fixed to the sheets constituting the outer layer portion 31 in a stretched state. The elastic members 34 are disposed in the waist region W. Specifically, the elastic members 34 are disposed along the lateral direction Y at the peripheral edge WE of the waist opening WH. The waist region W is preferably an area in which a plurality of elastic members 34 extending in the lateral direction Y are disposed parallel to one another. In this embodiment, the inner-layer sheet 32 is a single sheet that extends continuously from the ventral portion A through the crotch portion C to the dorsal portion B. The outer-layer sheet 33 is disposed in each of the ventral portion A and the dorsal portion B. The outer-layer sheet 33 disposed in the ventral portion A and the outer-layer sheet 33 disposed in the dorsal portion B are separate sheets. The outer-layer sheets 33 disposed in each of the ventral portion A and the dorsal portion B have their ends 33b, which are located on the central side in the longitudinal direction X of the diaper 1, positioned in the crotch region M. The outer layer portion 31 has both ends in the longitudinal direction X folded back toward the skin-facing surface, and the folds of the outer layer portion 31 form the peripheral edge portion WE of the waist opening WH.
[0018] In this embodiment, the outer layer sheet 33 is the laterally stretchable sheet described above, and the waist region W and waist region D of the outer layer portion 31 are stretchable in the lateral direction Y. The inner layer sheet 32 is preferably a sheet that does not inhibit the stretching of the outer layer sheet 33. Specifically, the inner layer sheet 32 is preferably stretchable in the lateral direction Y in the region where it overlaps with the outer layer sheet 33. However, the inner layer sheet 32 may be a sheet that does not stretch in the lateral direction Y in the region where it overlaps with the outer layer sheet 33. In this case, by joining the outer layer sheet 33 and the inner layer sheet 32 in a stretched state, the waist region W and waist region D of the outer layer portion 31 can be made stretchable in the lateral direction Y.
[0019] The vertically stretchable members 35 are arranged on the skin-facing surface of the inner sheet 32. The vertically stretchable members 35 are arranged in the crotch region M, and in this embodiment, of the ends 35a, 35b of the vertically stretchable members 35 in the vertical direction X, the end 35a on the ventral side A side is located in the waist region D, and the end 35b on the dorsal side B side is located in the crotch region M. Alternatively, the ends 35a, 35b of the vertically stretchable members 35 in the vertical direction X may be located in the waist region D.
[0020] As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the outer layer 31 and the vertically stretchable members 35 are joined at adhesive joints 4 that extend in the horizontal direction Y and are intermittently arranged in the vertical direction X. By joining the outer layer 31 and the vertically stretchable members 35 in this manner, when the diaper 1 is laid flat and the vertically stretchable members 35 contract in the vertical direction X, pleats extending in the horizontal direction Y are formed in the outer layer 31 in the crotch region M, i.e., on the outer surface of the diaper 1, as shown in Figure 4. The formation of pleats extending in the horizontal direction Y in the exterior body 3 prevents the occurrence of irregular wrinkles in the exterior body 3. The diaper 1 of this embodiment has an appearance that is more like underwear when laid flat because the outer cover 3 does not have any irregular wrinkles. "Laid flat" refers to a state in which the diaper 1 before use is placed on a surface such as the floor, a stand, a shelf, or a desk. Having an underwear-like appearance when laid flat also ensures that the diaper 1 also has an underwear-like appearance when held in the hand or in other states before wearing.
[0021] The vertical stretchable members 35 may be strip-shaped or thread-shaped elastic members, or may be stretchable sheets. In the diaper 1 of this embodiment, the vertical stretchable members 35 are stretchable sheets. From the viewpoint of forming regular pleats in the outer casing 3 when the diaper 1 is laid flat, the vertical stretchable members 35 are preferably stretchable sheets. As shown in FIG. 5, the stretchable sheet may be a stretchable sheet in which elastic filaments 53 arranged to extend in one direction are bonded between two fibrous sheets 51, 52. The two fibrous sheets 51, 52 are stretchable in one direction, that is, in which the elastic filaments 53 extend. When the above-mentioned stretchable sheet is used as the vertical stretchable member 35, the one direction in which the elastic filaments 53 extend is aligned with the longitudinal direction X of the diaper 1. The fibrous sheets 51, 52 may be, for example, nonwoven fabrics.
[0022] A stretchable sheet having the above-described configuration can be produced, for example, according to the method described in JP 2009-61743 A. Specifically, for example, a plurality of molten elastic filaments 53 spun from a spinning nozzle are drawn at a predetermined speed and stretched, and before the elastic filaments 53 solidify, the elastic filaments 53 are fused to fiber sheets 51, 52 so that the elastic filaments 53 are aligned in one direction without crossing each other, and then the sheets 51, 52 to which the elastic filaments 53 are fused are stretched along the extension direction of the elastic filaments 53, thereby producing the above-described stretchable sheet. The stretchable sheet as a whole is stretchable in one direction in which the elastic filaments 53 extend.
[0023] In order to further improve the appearance of the diaper 1 when laid flat, it is preferable to form fine pleats in the exterior body 3 when the diaper 1 is laid flat. From the viewpoint of forming fine pleats in the exterior body 3, it is preferable that the length L (see FIG. 2) of the adhesive portion 4 in the longitudinal direction X and the distance T (see FIG. 2) between adjacent adhesive portions 4, 4 in the longitudinal direction X are both short. Specifically, the length L is preferably 5 mm or less, more preferably 4 mm or less. The length L is preferably 1.5 mm or more, more preferably 1.75 mm or more. Furthermore, the length L is preferably 1.5 mm or more and 5 mm or less, more preferably 1.75 mm or more and 4 mm or less. Furthermore, the distance T is preferably 5 mm or less, more preferably 4 mm or less. The distance T is preferably 1.5 mm or more, more preferably 1.75 mm or more. The distance T is preferably 1.5 mm or more and 5 mm or less, more preferably 1.75 mm or more and 4 mm or less.
[0024] Furthermore, it is preferable that the distance T between adjacent adhesive portions 4, 4 in the longitudinal direction X is longer than the length L of the adhesive portions 4 in the longitudinal direction X. This allows dense pleats to be formed in the outer casing 3 when the diaper 1 is laid flat, thereby further improving the appearance of the diaper 1 when laid flat. To achieve this effect more significantly, the ratio T / L of the distance T to the length L is preferably 1.1 or more, more preferably 1.2 or more, even more preferably 1.3 or more, and is preferably 2.0 or less, more preferably 1.9 or less, even more preferably 1.8 or less, and is preferably 1.1 to 2.0, more preferably 1.2 to 1.9, even more preferably 1.3 to 1.8.
[0025] To ensure that pleats are formed in the outer casing 3 when the diaper 1 is laid flat, it is preferable that the elongation ratio of the vertical elastic members 35 is high. Specifically, the elongation ratio of the vertical elastic members 35 is preferably 1.5 times or more, more preferably 1.7 times or more, and even more preferably 1.9 times or more. The upper limit of the elongation ratio of the vertical elastic members 35 can be set to 2 times.
[0026] The elongation rate can be measured by the following method. <Method for measuring elongation rate> The absorbent body 2 is removed from the diaper 1 to obtain only the outer body 3. With the outer body 3 in its natural state, two marks are made on the longitudinally extensible member 35, spaced 50 mm apart in the longitudinal direction X. With the marked outer body 3 stretched to its maximum in the longitudinal direction X, the distance between the two marks is measured, and this measured value is taken as the stretch distance H (mm). The stretch percentage is then calculated using the following formula: Elongation rate (%) = [Extension distance H (mm) / 50 (mm)] × 100
[0027] In the diaper 1 of this embodiment, as described above, the longitudinally stretchable members 35 are stretchable sheets, and the waist region W and the torso region D include laterally stretchable sheets. The longitudinally stretchable members 35 and the laterally stretchable sheets may be the same type of sheet or different types of sheets. Here, "same type of sheet" means that a) the sheet manufacturing process, b) the type, diameter, and length of the constituent fibers of the sheet, and c) the thickness and basis weight of the sheet are all the same. If at least one of a) to c) is different, the sheets are considered to be of different types. For example, even if the stretch characteristics (stretch direction, elongation rate, elongation stress, etc.), color, presence or absence of pattern, presence or absence of elastic members, and arrangement pattern of the elastic members are different between the laterally stretchable sheet and the stretchable sheet that is the longitudinally stretchable member 35, the two sheets are considered to be the same type as long as all of a) to c) are the same.
[0028] When the longitudinally stretchable members 35 and the laterally stretchable sheet are the same type of sheet, it is preferable that the elongation rate of the longitudinally stretchable members 35 is smaller than that of the laterally stretchable sheet. The elongation rate of the longitudinally stretchable members 35 is the elongation rate of the longitudinally stretchable members 35 in the longitudinal direction X. The elongation rate of the laterally stretchable sheet is the elongation rate of the sheet in the lateral direction Y. By ensuring that the elongation rates of the longitudinally stretchable members 35 and the laterally stretchable sheet are in the above-mentioned relationship, it is possible to achieve an appropriate aspect ratio of the length in the longitudinal direction X to the length in the lateral direction Y of the diaper 1 when laid flat, and to make the appearance of the diaper 1 when laid flat more similar to underwear. To make this effect even more pronounced, the ratio Sx / Sy of the elongation rate Sx of the longitudinally stretchable member 35 to the elongation rate Sy of the laterally stretchable sheet is preferably 0.7 or more, more preferably 0.75 or more, even more preferably 0.8 or more, and is preferably 0.98 or less, more preferably 0.95 or less, even more preferably 0.9 or less, and is preferably 0.7 or more and 0.98 or less, more preferably 0.75 or more and 0.95 or less, even more preferably 0.8 or more and 0.9 or less. The elongation rate of the laterally stretchable sheet can be measured by the same method as the method for measuring the elongation rate described above.
[0029] The outer cover 3 has elastic members 34 at the peripheral edge WE of the waist opening WH, but preferably does not have thread-like or strip-like elastic members other than at the peripheral edge WE, which allows the diaper 1 to have a comfortable fit like underwear.
[0030] The exterior body 3 has outer layer sheets 33, which are laterally stretchable sheets, in both the ventral portion A and the dorsal portion B. The laterally stretchable sheet preferably has a longer length in the longitudinal direction X on the dorsal portion B side than on the ventral portion A side relative to a longitudinal centerline Lx, which bisects the entire length of the exterior body 3 in the longitudinal direction X and extends in the transverse direction Y. In other words, the laterally stretchable sheet in the dorsal portion B is preferably longer in the longitudinal direction X than the laterally stretchable sheet in the ventral portion A. This improves the fit of the diaper 1 around the buttocks. To further enhance this effect, the ratio Hb / Ha of the length Hb (see FIG. 2) of the laterally stretchable sheet on the dorsal portion B side relative to the longitudinal centerline Lx (see FIG. 2) to the length Ha (see FIG. 2) of the laterally stretchable sheet on the ventral portion A side relative to the longitudinal centerline Lx is preferably 1.05 or more, more preferably 1.1 or more, and even more preferably 1.15 or more. The upper limit of the ratio Hb / Ha may be 1.5. In the diaper 1 of this embodiment, the length Ha is the length in the longitudinal direction X of the outer-layer sheet 33 arranged on the ventral side A side, and the length Hb is the length in the longitudinal direction X of the outer-layer sheet 33 arranged on the dorsal side B side.
[0031] In the diaper 1, the longitudinally stretchable members 35 have, in a plan view, overlapping regions P that overlap the laterally stretchable sheet included in the waist region D, and non-overlapping regions Q that do not overlap the laterally stretchable sheet. In this embodiment, the overlapping regions P are regions where the longitudinally stretchable members 35 and the outer-layer sheet 33 overlap. The non-overlapping regions Q are regions of the longitudinally stretchable members 35 that do not overlap the outer-layer sheet 33. Since the diaper 1 has the outer-layer sheet 33, which is a laterally stretchable sheet, in both the ventral portion A and the back portion B, the non-overlapping regions Q are also located on both the ventral portion A and the back portion B. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2 , the arrangement pattern of the adhesive sections 4 in the overlapping regions P is the same as the arrangement pattern of the adhesive sections 4 in the non-overlapping regions Q.
[0032] In the diaper 1, as shown in Fig. 6, the arrangement pattern of the adhesive sections 4 in the overlapping region P may be different from the arrangement pattern of the adhesive sections 4 in the non-overlapping region Q. In the example shown in Fig. 6, the distance T between adjacent adhesive sections 4 in the overlapping region P is longer than that in the non-overlapping region Q. By ensuring the above-mentioned relationship between the distance Tp (see Fig. 6) in the overlapping region P and the distance Tq (see Fig. 6) in the non-overlapping region Q, the longitudinally extensible members 35 and the outer body 3 are firmly joined in the overlapping region P, which is extensible in both the longitudinal direction X and the lateral direction Y. Furthermore, the outer body 3 can be regularly contracted in the longitudinal direction X not only in the non-overlapping region Q but also in the overlapping region P, forming pleats extending in the lateral direction Y. This makes the appearance of the diaper 1 when laid flat more similar to that of underwear.
[0033] As shown in Figure 6, when there is a non-overlapping region Q on the ventral side A and a non-overlapping region Q on the dorsal side B, it is preferable that the distance Tq between either the non-overlapping region Q on the ventral side A or the non-overlapping region Q on the dorsal side B, and the distance Tp of the overlapping region P, satisfy the above-mentioned relationship, and it is more preferable that the distance Tq between both the non-overlapping region Q on the ventral side A and the non-overlapping region Q on the dorsal side B, and the distance Tp of the overlapping region P, satisfy the above-mentioned relationship. In order to achieve the above-mentioned effect more significantly, the ratio Tp / Tq of the distance Tp to the distance Tq is preferably 1.25 or more, more preferably 1.5 or more, and even more preferably 2.0 or more. The upper limit of the ratio Tp / Tq can be set to 3.0.
[0034] 1, the length of the vertically stretchable members 35 in the horizontal direction Y is longer than that of the absorbent main body 2, but as shown in FIG. 7, the length of the vertically stretchable members 35 in the horizontal direction Y may be the same as the length of the absorbent main body 2 in the horizontal direction Y. Furthermore, the length of the vertically stretchable members 35 in the horizontal direction Y may be shorter than the length of the absorbent main body 2 in the horizontal direction Y.
[0035] In this embodiment, as shown in Fig. 2, the adhesive portion 4 extends continuously in the horizontal direction Y, but the adhesive portion 4 extending in the horizontal direction Y may be made up of a plurality of adhesive portions 4 lined up in the horizontal direction Y, as shown in Figs. 8(a) to 8(c). As shown in Fig. 8(b), the adhesive portions 4, 4 adjacent to each other in the vertical direction X may be located at different positions in the horizontal direction Y. As shown in Fig. 8(c), the length of the adhesive portions 4 lined up in the horizontal direction Y may not be constant.
[0036] Next, the materials constituting the diaper 1 will be described. The topsheet 21 can be a liquid-permeable sheet, such as a nonwoven fabric or a perforated film. The topsheet 21 may have an uneven surface on its skin-facing side. For example, a plurality of scattered protrusions can be formed on the skin-facing side of the topsheet 21. Alternatively, ridges and grooves extending in one direction can be formed alternately on the skin-facing side of the topsheet 21. For such purposes, the topsheet 21 can be formed using two or more sheets of nonwoven fabric.
[0037] The backsheet 22 may be, for example, a liquid-impermeable film or a spunbond, meltblown, or spunbond laminated nonwoven fabric. A plurality of micropores may be formed in the liquid-impermeable film to impart water vapor permeability to the film. To further improve the feel of the absorbent article, a sheet with a pleasant texture, such as a nonwoven fabric, may be laminated on the outer surface of the backsheet 22.
[0038] The absorbent body 23 has an absorbent core. The absorbent core may be composed of, for example, a stack of hydrophilic fibers such as cellulose, a mixed stack of the hydrophilic fibers and an absorbent polymer, a pile of absorbent polymer, or a laminated structure in which an absorbent polymer is supported between two absorbent sheets. At least the skin-facing surface of the absorbent core may be covered with a liquid-permeable core wrap sheet, or the entire surface, including the skin-facing and non-skin-facing surfaces, may be covered with the core wrap sheet. Examples of the core wrap sheet that can be used include tissue paper made of hydrophilic fibers and liquid-permeable nonwoven fabric.
[0039] Although the present invention has been described above based on the embodiments thereof, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments and can be modified as appropriate. For example, in this embodiment, the outer layer sheet 33 of the outer layer portion 31 is a laterally stretchable sheet, but instead, the inner layer sheet 32 may be a laterally stretchable sheet. Also, both the outer layer sheet 33 and the inner layer sheet 32 may be laterally stretchable sheets.
[0040] The adhesive portion 4 may be formed by applying an adhesive such as a hot melt adhesive, or by fusing the vertically stretchable member 35 and the outer layer portion 31 together using heat, ultrasound, or the like. [Explanation of symbols]
