AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing methods for diagnosing the condition of submarine cables based on temperature measurements lack accuracy in identifying abnormalities and their types.

Method used

A diagnostic system that includes a temperature measuring device and display method to show temperature changes over time, risk levels, and specific conditions, allowing operators to easily identify cable abnormalities by displaying relevant information alongside temperature measurements.

Benefits of technology

Improves the accuracy of cable condition diagnosis by providing clear, reduced-information displays that enable operators to quickly identify potential issues and their severity.

Abstract

To provide a display method, a display program, and a diagnosis device that heighten the accuracy of cable state diagnosis results.SOLUTION: The display method includes: acquiring a measured value of a temperature at at least one temperature measurement position of a cable 40 in a first time, as a first temperature; displaying the first temperature at the at least one temperature measurement position; and, when there exists a position where a first condition is satisfied based on the first temperature among at least one temperature measurement position, displaying information in a first mode so as to correspond to a position where the first condition is satisfied among the display of the first temperature, as information for determining whether or not a state of the cable at the position where the first condition is satisfied is abnormal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
