Abstract

To provide a fluid leakage detection system for a marine hose capable of improving durability of a detector while securing easiness of confirming fluid leakage and certainty of detection, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: In a pressure holding chamber 18c formed by a metallic cylindrical base part 18a and a radio wave permeation unit 18b that cuts off an upper end side of the base part in a watertight manner in a casing 18 installed on the surface of a marine hose 1, a pressure sensor unit 15 and a passive IC tag 12 are housed; the pressure holding chamber 18c and a communication pipe 10 are communicated with each other through a check valve 17 that allows only a flow of fluid L from the communication pipe 10 side to the pressure holding chamber 18c side; the IC tag 12 transmits detected pressure data to a radio wave receiving unit 22b by reply radio waves W2 in response to transmitted radio waves W1 from a radio wave transmission part 22a; and three or more metal protrusion parts 19 protruding upward from the radio wave permeation unit 18b are arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction on an outer peripheral side of the radio wave permeation unit 18b in a plan view, and upper end parts thereof are separated from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
