Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] In the aforementioned lighting device mounting jig, the locking piece of the other retaining piece is located further back than the locking piece of the other retaining piece. Therefore, when the housing of the lighting device is pushed into the mounting jig from the side, the housing first contacts only the locking piece of one retaining piece, and after overcoming this locking piece, it contacts only the locking piece of the other retaining piece. As a result, the housing is prone to rotating on the inclined surface, making it difficult to smoothly push the housing between the retaining pieces, which leads to a problem of reduced workability during installation.

[0011] [First Embodiment] The fixing holder 6 for the line light 1 of the first embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. As shown in Figure 1, the line light 1 comprises a main body 2, an end cap 3, an electric wire 4, connectors 5A and 5B, and a light source unit 10 as shown in Figure 2. The line light 1 is installed on stepped areas such as stairs and decks in exterior buildings. In this embodiment, as shown in Figure 2, it is installed along the upper end of the riser surface 100 of the stairs in the exterior building, that is, along the lower surface 102 of the stair nose 101. The longitudinal direction of the line light 1, that is, the horizontal direction along the surface of the riser surface 100, is the X-axis direction, the direction perpendicular to the surface of the riser surface 100 is the Y-axis direction, and the vertical direction is the Z-axis direction. In the X-axis direction, the direction to the right in Figure 1 is the X1 direction, and the direction to the left is the X2 direction. In the Y-axis direction, the direction toward the riser surface is the Y1 direction, and the direction away from the riser surface is the Y2 direction. In the Z-axis direction, the upward direction is the Z1 direction, and the downward direction is the Z2 direction. As shown in Figure 2, the main body 2 is formed in a roughly rectangular tubular shape and comprises a pair of side portions 21 and 22, and a back portion 23 and a front portion 24 that connect the ends of the pair of side portions 21 and 22. Guide ridges 25 are continuously formed in the longitudinal direction on the opposing inner surfaces of the pair of side portions 21 and 22. The main body 2 is an extruded product made of a translucent synthetic resin such as polycarbonate.
[0012] The light source unit 10 is housed in the main body 2, and includes a substrate 11 formed in a strip shape and a plurality of light emitting elements 12 attached to the substrate 11 at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the substrate 11. The light emitting element 12 is formed of a light emitting diode (LED). The end caps 3 are attached to both ends of the main body 2 in the longitudinal direction. Through this end cap 3 portion, the light source unit 10 and the electric wire 4 are electrically connected. Connectors 5A and 5B are attached to each electric wire 4. The connector 5B of another line light 1 is connected to the connector 5A, and the connector 5A of another line light 1 is connected to the connector 5B. Thus, a plurality of line lights 1 can be sequentially connected and installed.
[0013] The line light 1 configured as described above is attached to a predetermined position such as an external staircase using a fixing holder 6. The fixing holder 6 is formed of a synthetic resin material such as polycarbonate having translucency, and as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, includes a fixing piece 30, a first holding piece 40, and a second holding piece 50. The fixing piece 30 is formed in a rectangular plate shape. The first holding piece 40 extends in the Y2 direction from a substantially intermediate position between the upper end portion and the lower end portion of the fixing piece 30. A pair of first holding pieces 40 are provided at intervals in the left-right direction along the longitudinal direction of the line light 1, that is, in the X-axis direction. The second holding piece 50 extends in the Y2 direction from the lower end portion of the fixing piece 30, and a pair of second holding pieces 50 are provided at intervals in the X-axis direction. Each first holding piece 40 and each second holding piece 50 are formed to face each other in the vertical direction (Z-axis direction), and the main body 2 of the line light 1 is held between these first holding pieces 40 and second holding pieces 50.
[0014] As shown in Figure 4, the first retaining piece 40 extends from the base end 40A, which is connected to the fixing piece 30, to the tip end 40B, i.e., in the Y2 direction, and its upper surface 41 and lower surface 42 are flat surfaces substantially aligned with the Y axis. Similarly, the second retaining piece 50 extends from the base end 50A, which is connected to the fixing piece 30, to the tip end 50B, i.e., in the Y2 direction, and its upper surface 51 and lower surface 52 are flat surfaces substantially aligned with the Y axis. In this embodiment, the first retaining piece 40 extends along the Y axis, and the tip end 50B of the second retaining piece 50 extends at an angle of approximately 1 degree upward with respect to the Y axis. For this reason, the distance between the lower surface 42 and the upper surface 51 is set to be slightly smaller on the tip end 40B, 50B side than on the base end 40A, 50A side. A first protrusion 43 is formed on the lower surface 42 (the surface facing the second retaining piece 50) of the first retaining piece 40, midway between the base end 40A and the tip end 40B, projecting toward the second retaining piece 50. A second protrusion 53 is formed on the upper surface 51 (the surface facing the first retaining piece 40) of the second retaining piece 50, midway between the base end 50A and the tip end 50B, projecting toward the first retaining piece 40. The first protrusion 43 and the second protrusion 53 are formed in a rectangular cross-section along the X-axis direction, and are located opposite each other, i.e., at the same position in the Y-axis direction, so that when the line light 1 is held, one side portion 21 of each protrusion abuts against the other.
[0015] A first projection 44, having a substantially triangular cross-section, is formed on the lower surface 42 of the tip 40B side of the first retaining piece 40. The first projection 44 comprises a first retaining surface 441 facing the first convex portion 43 and a first inclined surface 442 facing the tip 40B side. The first retaining surface 441 is inclined in a direction that approaches the second retaining piece 50 as it moves from the base end 40A side towards the tip 40B side, i.e., in the Y2 direction, and the angle with respect to the Y-axis direction, which is the extension direction of the first retaining piece 40, is set to be large, about 80 degrees, so that it can contact and be held by the side portion 22 of the main body 2. The first inclined surface 442 is inclined away from the second retaining piece 50 as it moves in the Y2 direction, and is inclined at an angle of approximately 40 degrees with respect to the Y axis. The first retaining surface 441 and the first inclined surface 442 are formed as continuous arc surfaces. The tip 40B side of the first inclined surface 442 is continuous with the first plane 45. The height of the first plane 45 is slightly above the bottom surface 42. The first plane 45 is a substantially flat surface along approximately the Y-axis direction. The tip 40B side of the first plane 45 is continuous with the guide surface 461 of the guide portion 46. The guide portion 46 extends diagonally upward, and the guide surface 461 is inclined away from the second retaining piece 50 as it moves in the Y2 direction.
[0016] A second projection 54, similar in cross-section to the first projection 44, is formed on the upper surface 51 of the second retaining piece 50 on the tip 50B side. The second projection 54 comprises a second retaining surface 541 facing the second convex portion 53 and a second inclined surface 542 facing the tip 50B side. The second retaining surface 541 is inclined in a direction that approaches the first retaining piece 40 as it moves toward the Y2 direction, and the angle with respect to the Y2 direction is large, approximately 80 degrees, so that it can contact and hold the side portion 22 of the main body 2. The second inclined surface 542 is inclined away from the first retaining piece 40 as it moves in the Y2 direction, and is inclined at an angle of approximately 30 degrees with respect to the Y axis. The second retaining surface 541 and the second inclined surface 542 are formed as a continuous arc. The tip 50B side of the second inclined surface 542 is continuous with the second plane 55. The second plane 55 is located on the extension of the upper surface 51. Therefore, the second plane 55, like the upper surface 51, is a plane whose tip side is inclined 1 degree upward relative to the base side. The tip 50B side of the second plane 55 is continuous with the lower surface 52 via an arcuate surface. As described above, the first plane 45 is a plane aligned with the Y-axis direction, and the second plane 55 is a plane tilted 1 degree with respect to the Y-axis direction. Therefore, the first plane 45 and the second plane 55 are formed substantially parallel to each other. The first plane 45 and the second plane 55 are provided to stabilize the body 2 of the line light 1 so that it does not rotate when the body 2 is pressed and held between the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50, as will be described later.
[0017] In this embodiment, the height dimension between the lower surface 42 and the upper surface 51 is slightly smaller than the height dimension of the main body 2. When the main body 2 is held between the lower surface 42 and the upper surface 51, the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50 are elastically deformed, and the main body 2 is held in place by their restoring force. The height dimension between the first plane 45 and the second plane 55 is made slightly larger than the height dimension of the main body 2, so that the main body 2 can move smoothly between the first plane 45 and the second plane 55. In the Y-axis direction, the base end positions of the first plane 45 and the second plane 55 are approximately the same. In the Y-axis direction, the tip end position of the second plane 55 is further forward than the tip end position of the first plane 45. Therefore, the extension dimension (Y-axis dimension) of the second retaining piece 50 of the second plane 55 is larger than the extension dimension (Y-axis dimension) of the first retaining piece 40 of the first plane 45. In the Y-axis direction, the leading edge position of the first retaining piece 40, specifically the upper end portion of the guide surface 461 of the guide portion 46, and the leading edge position of the second retaining piece 50 are approximately coincident.
[0018] The fixing piece 30 includes a connecting portion 31 that connects the base end 40A of the first retaining piece 40 and the base end 50A of the second retaining piece 50, and a flange portion 32 that extends upward (in the Z1 direction) from the base end 40A. That is, the flange portion 32 extends from the base end 40A of the first retaining piece 40 to the side opposite to the base end 50A of the second retaining piece 50. As shown in Figure 4, a through hole 321 is formed in the flange portion 32, extending in the Y-axis direction. The height of the lowest end 321A of the through hole 321 is approximately the same height as the upper surface 41 of the first retaining piece 40. The position of the through hole 321 in the X-axis direction is between the pair of first retaining pieces 40. Therefore, as shown in Figures 2 and 3, when inserting a self-drilling screw 60 with a washer 61 into the through hole 321 and screwing the self-drilling screw 60 into the kick plate 100, the electric screwdriver bit can be used without interfering with the line light 1 held between the first retaining piece 40 and the self-drilling screw 60, or with the first retaining piece 40, etc.
[0019] As shown in Figures 2 and 4, the end face of the flange portion 32 in the extension direction (Z1 direction), i.e., the upper end face, protrudes beyond the tip (upper end) of the guide portion 46 in the Z1 direction, and the protrusion dimension in the Z1 direction is H1. As a result, as shown in Figure 2, when the upper end of the fixing piece 30 is fixed in contact with the lower surface 102, the height dimension between the upper end of the guide portion 46 and the lower surface 102 is also H1, and the main body 2 can be removed by pushing the guide portion 46 and curving the first retaining piece 40 toward the lower surface 102, thereby widening the space between the first projection 44 and the second projection 54. In this embodiment, the height dimension H1 is set to be greater than or equal to the protrusion dimension of the first projection 44 from the lower surface 42 in the Z2 direction.
[0020] In this embodiment, the fixing holder 6 also has a second through-hole 311 formed in the connecting portion 31 through which a drill screw 60 can be inserted. However, since the height position of the through-hole 311 formed in the connecting portion 31 coincides with the height position of the line light 1 held between the first retaining piece 40 and the drill screw 60, when fastening with a screw using the through-hole 311, it is necessary to fix the drill screw 60 to the kick surface 100 without holding the line light 1. Furthermore, the spacing in the X-axis direction between the pair of first retaining pieces 40 and between the pair of second retaining pieces 50 is set such that when the self-drilling screw 60 is inserted through the through hole 321 or through hole 311 and screwed in, the head of the self-drilling screw 60 does not interfere with the first retaining piece 40 or the second retaining piece 50.
[0021] [Line Light Installation Instructions] Next, we will explain the procedure for installing the line light 1 on the kick plate 100. First, the line light 1, which has been pre-assembled in a factory or elsewhere, is attached to the fixing holder 6. That is, as shown in Figure 5(A), the main body 2 of the line light 1 is positioned between the first plane 45 of the first retaining piece 40 and the second plane 55 of the second retaining piece 50. Next, when the main body 2 is pushed toward the fixing piece 30, i.e., in the Y1 direction, the side portion 21 of the main body 2 comes into contact with the first inclined surface 442 of the first projection 44 and the second inclined surface 542 of the second projection 54. As the first inclined surface 442 and the second inclined surface 542 are pressed by the main body 2, the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50 bend vertically. Furthermore, when the main body 2 is pushed toward the Y1 direction, as shown in Figure 5(B), the space between the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50 widens further, and the back portion 23 and front portion 24 of the main body 2 come into contact with the first projection 44 and the second projection 54. Furthermore, when the main body 2 is pushed towards the fixing piece 30, i.e., in the Y1 direction, as shown in Figure 5(C), the main body 2 overcomes the first projection 44 and the second projection 54 and is held between the first projection 44 and the second projection 54 and the first convex portion 43 and the second convex portion 53.
[0022] Next, as shown in Figure 5(D), the fixed holder 6 holding the line light 1 is brought into contact with the riser surface 100, and the upper end of the fixed piece 30 is brought into contact with the lower surface 102 of the step nose 101 to position it. Then, using an electric screwdriver or the like, a self-drilling screw 60 with a washer 61 attached is screwed into the riser surface 100 through the through hole 321 of the fixed piece 30. As a result, as shown in Figure 2, the fixed holder 6 holding the line light 1 is fixed to the riser surface 100 with the self-drilling screw 60.
[0023] The line light 1 can be installed on the steps of the stairs using the procedure described above, but it can also be installed using other methods. Specifically, the fixing holder 6 can first be fixed to the riser surface 100 with a self-drilling screw 60, and then the line light 1 can be installed on the steps of the stairs by pushing the main body 2 of the line light 1 between the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50, as shown in Figures 5(A) to (C). When fixing only the fixing holder 6 to the riser surface 100 with a self-drilling screw 60 in this way, the self-drilling screw 60 can be screwed into the riser surface 100 through either the through-hole 321 or the through-hole 311. The worker on site can choose which through-hole 321 or 311 to insert the self-drilling screw 60 into as appropriate.
[0024] [Instructions for attaching and detaching line lights] Next, the procedure for removing the line light 1 from the fixing holder 6 and reattaching it to the fixing holder 6 during inspection or in case of malfunction will be explained with reference to Figures 6 and 7. To remove the line light 1 from the fixed holder 6, as shown in Figure 6(A), first, the guide portion 46 of the first retaining piece 40 is pushed diagonally upward to bend the first retaining piece 40 by elastic deformation. This widens the gap between the first projection 44 of the first retaining piece 40 and the second projection 54 of the second retaining piece 50, allowing the operator to move the main body 2 in the Y2 direction, as shown in Figure 6(B). By continuing to move the main body 2 in the Y2 direction, the line light 1 can be removed from the fixed holder 6, as shown in Figure 6(C), and the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50 return to their original positions.
[0025] When installing a line light 1 after inspection, repair, or replacement with a new line light 1, the line light 1 is pushed into the fixing holder 6 as shown in Figure 7(A). In this case, if the height of the main body 2 is shifted from the position between the first plane 45 and the second plane 55 when installing the line light 1 in a difficult-to-work-in place such as a step at the bottom of a staircase, the main body 2 can be moved along the guide surface 461 of the guide part 46 to move the main body 2 between the first plane 45 and the second plane 55 as shown in Figure 7(B). Furthermore, when the main body 2 is pushed toward the Y1 direction, as shown in Figure 7(C), the space between the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50 widens further, and the back portion 23 and front portion 24 of the main body 2 come into contact with the first projection 44 and the second projection 54. Furthermore, when the main body 2 is pushed towards the fixing piece 30, i.e., in the Y1 direction, as shown in Figure 2, the main body 2 overcomes the first projection 44 and the second projection 54 and is held between the first projection 44 and the second projection 54 and the first convex portion 43 and the second convex portion 53.
[0026] [Effects of the First Embodiment] Since the first retaining piece 40 is formed in a continuous manner from the tip 40B side to the base end 40A side, in the order of guide surface 461, first plane 45, and first inclined surface 442, when attaching the line light 1, the line light 1 can be moved along the guide surface 461 and guided between the first plane 45 and the second plane 55. Therefore, when pushing the body 2 of the line light 1 between the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50, the body 2 can be guided by the first plane 45 and the second plane 55. As a result, when pressing the body 2 against the first inclined surface 442 of the first projection 44 and the second inclined surface 542 of the second projection 54 to elastically deform the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50 and widen the gap, the line light 1 can move without rotating, and the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50 can be smoothly deformed and the body 2 can be pushed in. Therefore, by providing a guide surface 461, a first plane 45, and a second plane 55 on the tip side of the first projection 44 and the second projection 54, the line light 1 can be easily held in the fixing holder 6, thereby improving workability during installation.
[0027] Since the first retaining piece 40 is provided with a guide portion 46, even in the narrow space below the stair nosing portion 101, if the main body 2 of the line light 1 is pushed toward the fixing holder 6, the main body 2 can be moved along the guide portion 46, guiding the main body 2 to a position between the first plane 45 and the second plane 55, and the line light 1 can be securely held by the fixing holder 6. Furthermore, because the extension dimension of the second plane 55 is larger than the extension dimension of the first plane 45 which is continuous with the guide surface 461, the second plane 55 can be provided in the Z-axis direction to a position opposite the guide surface 461. For this reason, when the line light 1 is moved along the guide surface 461, even if the line light 1 moves away from the guide surface 461 and downward, it can be guided by the second plane 55, allowing the line light 1 to move smoothly between the first plane 45 and the second plane 55.
[0028] Since the first protrusion 43 and the second protrusion 53 are formed at intermediate positions between the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50, the line light 1 can be held between the first projection 44, the second projection 54 and the first protrusion 43 and the second protrusion 53 in the Y-axis direction, and between the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50 in the Z-axis direction. For this reason, there is no need to form recesses or the like for engagement on the line light 1, and the main body 2 can be formed in a simple rectangular cross-section, thus reducing the manufacturing cost of the line light 1.
[0029] A flange portion 32 is formed on the fixing piece 30 of the fixing holder 6, protruding above the first retaining piece 40, and a through hole 321 is formed in this flange portion 32 through which a drill screw 60 can be inserted. As a result, the fixing holder 6 can be screwed to the kick plate 100 while the main body 2 of the line light 1 is held between the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50 of the fixing holder 6. Therefore, compared to the case where the fixing holder 6 is first attached to the kick plate 100 at the construction site, and then the line light 1 is attached to the fixing holder 6 in two stages, the fixing holder 6 with the line light 1 held in it can be screwed to the kick plate 100 in one stage, thus improving the work efficiency of the construction. Furthermore, since the line light 1 can be held in the fixing holder 6 and attached to the kick plate 100, the fixing holder 6 can be fixed while confirming that the line light 1 is in the correct position, for example, horizontally along the longitudinal direction.
[0030] Since a height dimension H1 is secured between the upper end of the flange portion 32 of the fixing piece 30 and the upper end of the guide portion 46 of the first retaining piece 40, a height dimension H1 can also be secured between the upper end of the guide portion 46 and the lower surface 102 when the upper end surface of the fixing piece 30 is in contact with the lower surface 102. Therefore, by pushing the guide portion 46 diagonally upward, the gap between the first projection 44 and the second projection 54 can be widened, and the main body 2 of the line light 1 can be easily removed from the fixing holder 6.
[0031] The fixed holder 6 comprises a pair of first retaining pieces 40 and a pair of second retaining pieces 50, and is therefore capable of stably and firmly holding the main body 2.
[0032] [Second Embodiment] Next, a second embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 8 to 10. The second embodiment involves attaching the line light 1 using a mounting member 7, which is formed by attaching a mounting bracket 70 to a fixed holder 6. Since the fixing holder 6 is the same component as in the first embodiment, it is given the same reference numeral and its description is omitted. The mounting bracket 70 is a substantially L-shaped bracket in cross-section, comprising a mounting piece 71 that is attached to an object to be mounted 110 such as a constructed floor, and a holder mounting piece 72 that bends from the mounting piece 71 and extends along the fixing piece 30 of the fixing holder 6. The mounting piece 71 has two through holes 711 and 712 formed along the X-axis direction. The through hole 711 is formed between a pair of first retaining pieces 40 of the fixing holder 6 in the X-axis direction. The through hole 712 is formed at a position away from the fixing holder 6 in the X-axis direction. Furthermore, the Y-axis positions of the through holes 711 and 712 are set between the fixing piece 30 of the fixing holder 6 and the first protrusion 43 and the second protrusion 53, as shown in Figure 10.
[0033] Self-drilling screws 65 are inserted through the through holes 711 and 712 to fix the mounting bracket 70 to the lower surface 111 of the object to be mounted 110. At this time, the positions of the through holes 711 and 712 in the X-axis direction do not overlap with the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50. Therefore, when screwing the self-drilling screws 65 into the object to be mounted 110 through the through holes 711 and 712, the self-drilling screws 65 and the bits of the electric screwdriver can be used to mount the object without interfering with the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50. Furthermore, since the Y-axis positions of the through holes 711 and 712 are between the fixing piece 30 and the first and second protrusions 43 and 53, when screwing the self-drilling screws 65 into the object to be attached 110 through the through holes 711 and 712, the self-drilling screws 65 and the bits of the electric screwdriver can be used to install the lights without interfering with the main body 2 of the line light 1 or the fixing piece 30 held in the fixing holder 6.
[0034] The holder mounting piece 72 has a pair of positioning protrusions 721 that contact the lower surface of the fixing piece 30 of the fixing holder 6. The holder mounting piece 72 also has a screw hole 722 into which a screw 75 for attaching the fixing holder 6 to the mounting bracket 70 is screwed, as shown in Figure 10. The screw hole 722 is positioned so that when the lower surface of the fixing piece 30 contacts the positioning protrusion 721 and the side of the fixing piece 30 on the X2 direction side (the left side in Figure 9) is aligned with the side of the holder mounting piece 72 on the X2 direction side, the through hole 311 of the fixing piece 30 and its central axis coincide. This allows the fixing holder 6 to be positioned relative to the holder mounting piece 72 of the mounting bracket 70, and by screwing the screw 75 with a washer 76 attached into the screw hole 722 via the through hole 311, the fixing holder 6 and the mounting bracket 70 are integrated to form the mounting member 7.
[0035] [Line Light Installation Instructions] The installation procedure for the line light 1 using the mounting member 7 of the second embodiment is as follows. First, the fixing holder 6 is attached to the mounting bracket 70 with screws 75 to form the mounting member 7. Next, the main body 2 of the line light 1 is pressed into the fixing holder 6 to hold it in place. The process of holding the main body 2 is the same as in the first embodiment, so the explanation is omitted. Next, with the main body 2 held in the fixing holder 6, the mounting piece 71 of the mounting bracket 70 is brought into contact with the lower surface 111 of the object to be mounted 110 to adjust the installation position of the line light 1. Then, the self-drilling screws 65 are inserted into the through holes 711 and 712 from below the fixing holder 6, and the self-drilling screws 65 are screwed into the object to be mounted 110 using an electric screwdriver or the like to secure it. Through the above steps, the line light 1, held by the mounting member 7 consisting of a fixing holder 6 and a mounting bracket 70, can be installed on the lower surface 111 of the object to be mounted 110. The method for inspecting and replacing Line Light 1 is the same as in the first embodiment, so the explanation will be omitted.
[0036] [Effects of the second embodiment] Since the mounting member 7 of the second embodiment uses the same fixing holder 6 as in the first embodiment, the same effects as in the first embodiment can be achieved by using the fixing holder 6. Since the mounting bracket 70 is connected to the fixed holder 6 to form the mounting member 7, the line light 1 can be attached to the lower surface 111 of the object to be mounted 110. Since a positioning projection 721 is formed on the holder mounting piece 72 of the mounting bracket 70, the Z-axis positioning of the fixed holder 6 relative to the holder mounting piece 72 can be easily performed. Furthermore, since the position where one side of the fixed piece 30 and the holder mounting piece 72 are aligned is set as the reference position in the X-axis direction, the X-axis positioning of the fixed holder 6 relative to the holder mounting piece 72 can be easily performed. As a result, the central axes of the through hole 311 and the screw hole 722 can be easily aligned, and the fixed holder 6 and the mounting bracket 70 can be easily connected with a screw 75.
[0037] The distance between the first and second protrusions 43 and 53 of the first and second retaining pieces 40 and 50 and the fixing piece 30 in the Y-axis direction is set to a dimension that allows the screw 75 to be inserted, so that the through holes 711 and 712 do not interfere with the main body 2 held by the fixing holder 6 in the Y-axis direction, and furthermore, so that the through holes 711 and 712 do not interfere with the first and second retaining pieces 40 and 50 in the X-axis direction. As a result, the mounting piece 71 can be fixed to the object to be mounted 110 using the self-drilling screw 65 while the main body 2 is held by the fixing holder 6. Therefore, it is not necessary to attach the mounting member 7 to the object to be mounted 110 first and then hold the main body 2 of the line light 1 in the fixing holder 6, improving work efficiency during installation. In addition, since the mounting member 7 can be attached to the object to be mounted 110 while the line light 1 is being held, the installation work can be performed while checking the installation position of the line light 1.
[0038] [Third Embodiment] Next, a third embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 11 and 12. The third embodiment involves attaching the line light 1 using a mounting member 8, which is formed by attaching a mounting bracket 80 to a fixed holder 6. Since the fixing holder 6 is the same component as in the first embodiment, it is given the same reference numeral and its description is omitted. The mounting bracket 80 is a metal fitting with a roughly Z-shaped cross-section, comprising a mounting piece 81 attached to the back surface 121 of the object to be mounted 120, such as a fascia board of a wooden deck; a holder mounting piece 82 provided along the fixing piece 30 of the fixing holder 6; and a connecting piece 83 connecting the mounting piece 81 and the holder mounting piece 82. In other words, the mounting bracket 80 comprises a mounting piece 81 attached to the object to be mounted 120, a connecting piece 83 extending from the mounting piece 81 in the Y1 direction by bending, and a holder mounting piece 82 extending from the connecting piece 83 in the Z2 direction to which the fixing piece 30 is attached. As shown in Figure 11, the mounting piece 81 has two through holes 811 and 812 formed along the X-axis direction. Through holes 811 and 812 are inserted self-drilling screws 66 that secure the mounting bracket 80 to the back surface 121 of the object to be mounted 120.
[0039] Similar to the second embodiment, the holder mounting piece 82 has a pair of positioning protrusions 821 that contact the lower surface of the fixing piece 30 of the fixed holder 6. Also, as shown in Figure 12, the holder mounting piece 82 has screw holes 822 into which screws 85 for attaching the fixed holder 6 to the mounting bracket 70 are screwed. The width dimension of the holder mounting piece 82, that is, the dimension in the X-axis direction, is the same as the width dimension of the fixing piece 30. The screw holes 822 are formed in a position where the through hole 311 of the fixing piece 30 and the central axis coincide when the lower surface of the fixing piece 30 contacts the positioning protrusions 821 and the left and right sides of the fixing piece 30 in the X-axis direction are aligned with the left and right sides of the holder mounting piece 82. This allows the fixing holder 6 to be positioned relative to the holder mounting piece 82 of the mounting bracket 80, and by screwing the screw 85 with the washer 86 attached into the screw hole 822 through the through hole 311, the fixing holder 6 and the mounting bracket 80 are integrated to form the mounting member 8.
[0040] As shown in Figure 12, the height of the connecting piece 83 in the Z-axis direction is set above the upper end of the fixing piece 30. In addition, the length dimension of the connecting piece 83 in the Y-axis direction is set so that the guide portion 46 of the fixing holder 6 attached to the mounting bracket 80 can be pushed in without interfering with the object to be mounted 120, thereby elastically deforming the first retaining piece 40.
[0041] [Line Light Installation Instructions] The procedure for installing the line light 1 using the mounting member 8 of the third embodiment is the same as in the second embodiment. First, the fixing holder 6 and the mounting bracket 70 are connected with screws 85 to form the mounting member 8. Next, the main body 2 of the line light 1 is pushed into the fixing holder 6 to hold it in place. Next, with the main body 2 held in the fixing holder 6, the mounting piece 81 of the mounting bracket 80 is brought into contact with the back surface 121 of the object to be mounted 120 to adjust the installation position. Then, the self-drilling screws 66 are inserted into the through holes 811 and 812 from the back of the fixing holder 6, and the self-drilling screws 66 are screwed into the object to be mounted 120 using an electric screwdriver or the like to secure it. Through the above steps, the line light 1, held by the mounting member 8 consisting of the fixing holder 6 and the mounting bracket 80, can be installed on the back surface 121 of the object to be mounted 120. The method for inspecting and replacing Line Light 1 is the same as in the first embodiment, so the explanation will be omitted.
[0042] [Effects of the third embodiment] Since the mounting member 8 of the third embodiment uses the same fixing holder 6 as in the first embodiment, the same effects as in the first embodiment can be achieved by using the fixing holder 6. Since the mounting bracket 80 is connected to the fixed holder 6 to form the mounting member 8, the line light 1 can be attached to the back surface 121 of the object to be mounted 120.
[0043] Since a positioning projection 821 is formed on the holder mounting piece 82 of the mounting bracket 80, the Z-axis positioning of the fixed holder 6 relative to the holder mounting piece 82 can be easily performed. Furthermore, since the position where one side of the fixed piece 30 and the holder mounting piece 82 are aligned is set as the reference position in the X-axis direction, the X-axis positioning of the fixed holder 6 relative to the holder mounting piece 82 can be easily performed. As a result, the central axes of the through hole 311 and the screw hole 822 can be easily aligned, and the fixed holder 6 and the mounting bracket 80 can be easily connected with a screw 85.
[0044] [Differentiation] The fixed holder 6 had a guide portion 46 formed on the first retaining piece 40, but the guide portion may also be formed on the second retaining piece 50, or on both the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50. Furthermore, the dimension of the second plane 55 in the Y-axis direction is not limited to being larger than that of the first plane 45, and the dimensions of the first plane 45 and the second plane 55 in the Y-axis direction may be the same. Also, the fixed holder 6 had one pair each of the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50, but a fixed holder with one first retaining piece 40 and one second retaining piece 50 may also be used. The fixing holder 6 had through holes 311 and 321 formed in the connecting portion 31 and the flange portion 32 of the fixing piece 30, respectively, but the through hole 321 may be formed only in the flange portion 32. Furthermore, the fixing piece 30 of the fixing holder 6 may have only the connecting portion 31 without the flange portion 32. The specific structure and shape of the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50 of the fixed holder 6 are not limited to the above embodiment, and any structure and shape that can hold the main body 2 of the line light 1, including a first projection 44, a first plane 45, a guide portion 46, a second projection 54, a second plane 55, etc., is acceptable.
[0045] In the mounting member 7 of the second embodiment, the mounting piece 71 of the mounting bracket 70 was set to face the extension direction of the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50 relative to the holder mounting piece 72, i.e., the Y2 direction, but it may also be set to face the Y1 direction instead. Similarly, in the mounting member 8 of the third embodiment, the connecting piece 83 of the mounting bracket 80 was set to face the extension direction of the first retaining piece 40 and the second retaining piece 50 relative to the holder mounting piece 82, i.e., the Y2 direction, but it may also be set to face the Y1 direction instead. Furthermore, in each of the above embodiments, the fixing holder 6 was installed with the flange portion 32 positioned above the connecting portion 31 (in the Z1 direction), but the fixing holder 6 may also be installed with the flange portion 32 positioned below the connecting portion 31 (in the Z2 direction).
[0046] [Summary of the invention] The present invention relates to a fixing holder for a line light, the fixing holder comprising: a fixing piece; a first retaining piece extending from the fixing piece; and a second retaining piece extending from the fixing piece and capable of holding the line light between itself and the first retaining piece, wherein the tip end of the first retaining piece is provided with a first projection having a first inclined surface that protrudes toward the second retaining piece and is inclined toward the direction away from the second retaining piece as it approaches the tip end, and a first plane provided continuously on the tip end of the first inclined surface and along the extension direction of the first retaining piece, the tip end of the second retaining piece is provided with a second projection having a second inclined surface that protrudes toward the first retaining piece and is inclined toward the direction away from the first retaining piece as it approaches the tip end, and a second plane provided continuously on the tip end of the second inclined surface and along the extension direction of the second retaining piece, and the tip end of at least one of the retaining pieces of the first retaining piece and the second retaining piece is provided with a guide surface provided continuously on the tip end of the first plane or the second plane and inclined toward the direction away from the other retaining piece as it approaches the tip end. Since at least one of the first and second retaining pieces has a guide surface, a first or second plane, and a first inclined surface of the first projection or a second inclined surface of the second projection formed continuously from the tip side, when installing a line light, the line light can be moved along the guide surface and temporarily positioned between the first and second planes. Therefore, when pressing the line light against the first inclined surface of the first projection and the second inclined surface of the second projection to elastically deform the first and second retaining pieces and widen the gap between them, the line light moves without rotating, allowing each retaining piece to be deformed smoothly. Consequently, the line light can be smoothly held in the fixed holder, improving workability during installation.
[0047] In the fixing holder for line lights of the present invention, it is preferable that the first retaining piece and the second retaining piece are provided in pairs, spaced apart in the left-right direction along the longitudinal direction of the line light. The fixed holder comprises a pair of first retaining pieces and a pair of second retaining pieces, allowing it to stably and firmly hold the line light.
[0048] In the fixing holder for line lights of the present invention, the guide surface is preferably provided continuously with respect to the tip side of the first plane, and the dimension of the second plane in the extension direction is preferably larger than the dimension of the first plane in the extension direction. Because the extension dimension of the second plane is larger than the extension dimension of the first plane which is continuous with the guide surface, the second plane can be provided up to a position opposite the guide surface. Therefore, when the line light is moved along the guide surface, it can be guided by the second plane even when it moves away from the guide surface, allowing the line light to move smoothly between the first and second planes.
[0049] In the fixing holder for line lights of the present invention, a first protrusion projecting toward the second holding piece is formed in the middle of the first holding piece in the extension direction, and a second protrusion projecting toward the first holding piece is formed in the middle of the second holding piece in the extension direction, and the line light is preferably held between the first projection and the first protrusion, and between the second projection and the second protrusion, in the extension direction. Since the first and second protrusions are formed at intermediate positions between the first and second retaining pieces, the line light can be held between the protrusions and contrusions in the extending direction of each retaining piece, and between the retaining pieces in the direction perpendicular to the extending direction of each retaining piece and the longitudinal direction of the line light. For this reason, there is no need to form recesses or the like for engagement in the line light, and it can be formed with a simple rectangular cross-section, thus reducing manufacturing costs.
[0050] The present invention relates to a mounting member for a line light, comprising a fixing holder for the line light and a mounting bracket attached to the fixing holder, wherein the mounting bracket comprises a mounting piece attached to an object to be mounted and a holder mounting piece that extends bent from the mounting piece and to which the fixing piece is attached, and the holder mounting piece has a positioning projection that defines the mounting position of the fixing piece. Since a mounting bracket is attached to the fixed holder that holds the line light, which includes a mounting piece and a holder mounting piece that bends and extends from the mounting piece, when the object to which the line light is attached is not a surface along the fixing piece of the fixed holder, but a surface along the extension direction of the first and second holding pieces, the fixing piece of the fixed holder can be attached to the holder mounting piece of the mounting bracket, and the mounting piece bent from this holder mounting piece can be attached to the aforementioned surface. For this reason, the line light can be attached to an object to which it is attached above, such as the underside of a constructed floor. Furthermore, since the holder mounting piece is provided with a positioning projection, the holder mounting piece and the fixing piece can be easily aligned, and the process of fixing the holder mounting piece and the fixing piece with screws can also be easily performed.
[0051] The present invention relates to a mounting member for a line light, comprising a fixing holder for the line light and a mounting bracket attached to the fixing holder, wherein the mounting bracket comprises a mounting piece attached to an object to be mounted, a connecting piece extending bent from the mounting piece, and a holder mounting piece extending bent from the connecting piece to which the fixing piece is attached, and the holder mounting piece has a positioning projection that defines the mounting position of the fixing piece. Since the mounting bracket is attached to the fixed holder that holds the line light, and the bracket comprises a mounting piece, a connecting piece that bends and extends from the mounting piece, and a holder mounting piece that bends and extends from the connecting piece, even if the object to which the line light is attached is not on a surface along the fixed piece of the fixed holder, but along the fixed piece and above the fixed piece, and is also on a different surface in the horizontal direction, the fixed piece of the fixed holder can be attached to the holder mounting piece of the mounting bracket, and the mounting piece of the mounting bracket can be attached to the object to which the line light is attached. For this reason, the line light can be attached to the underside of the skirting board of a wooden deck. Furthermore, since the holder mounting piece is provided with a positioning projection, the holder mounting piece and the fixing piece can be easily aligned, and the process of fixing the holder mounting piece and the fixing piece with screws can also be easily performed.
