Abstract

Bainitic seamless steel pipe and method for manufacturing the same. The bainitic seamless steel pipe further contains the following chemical elements in mass percentage in addition to Fe and inevitable impurities: C: 0.16 - 0.18%, Si: 0.56 - 1%, Mn: 1.8 - 2.05%, Cr: 0.85 - 1.25%, Al: 0.015 - 0.04%, B: 0.001 - 0.005%, 0 < N ≤ 0.006%, where Al / N ≥ 3. The bainitic seamless steel pipe can obtain a good strength-toughness balance in the rolled state or in a single tempered state without the need for quenching and tempering heat treatment.
