Abstract
An Internet of Things (IoT) digitization module featuring a compact dual hardware architecture designed for electrical appliances. The system is divided into two physically separate units: a cable-mounted external device (Device 1) and an appliance-internal device (Device 2). Device 1 enables real-time monitoring of power consumption, runtime, and calculation of carbon emissions, and features quad wireless communication (GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and SMS). Device 2 contains a relay to enable or disable power delivery. The two devices communicate directly via a peer-to-peer connection, rendering the appliance tamper-proof; removal of the external cable disables the internal relay. The module integrates with cloud platforms to facilitate financing management, verifiable carbon credit generation, and secure remote control, thereby addressing high upfront costs and usage visibility in emerging markets.
