Abstract
The method of producing a geopolymer matrix for permanent fixation of radioactive waste includes preparing a geopolymer mixture by mixing activated zeolite with an alkaline activator containing water glass and sodium or potassium hydroxide, followed by embedding the radioactive waste with said geopolymer mixture, which hardens and forms a monolithic matrix chemically binding radionuclides.
