Abstract
Claims
OCR1. A control device for a number of batteries included in a vehicle, to which a number of batteries are connected in parallel. The control device comprises an acquisition section that acquires each charge state of the number of batteries and a control section that designates one or more batteries to be discharged and one or more batteries to be charged in the number of batteries, to which one or more batteries to be discharged supply power to an external load for driving the vehicle, and one or more batteries to be charged are charged by an external power source provided outside the vehicle, where the control section designates one or more batteries to be discharged from the number of batteries, excluding those with low charge, and designates one or more batteries to be charged from the number of batteries, including those with low charge, where those batteries are those whose charge state is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold among the number of batteries.2.
1. A control device under Claim 1 in which, if each charge state of all batteries in a given number of batteries is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold, the control unit acts in such a manner that the entire battery is designated as a connected object, which is connected to an external load.
3. A control device under Claim 1 incorporating additional sensors that detect the status of a given number of batteries, in which the control unit controls the operation of the vehicle based on the results of the sensors' detection.
4. A control device under Claim 3 in which, if each charge state of all batteries in a given number of batteries is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold, the control unit acts in such a manner that the vehicle is notified as unable to travel.
5. A vehicle incorporating a control device under Claim 1 and a given number of batteries.
