BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] Have you ever opened a jar and needed to look for a fork to grab the contents / food from the bottom of the jar? The present subject resolves this issue.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0002] In the following description, numerous specific details are set forth to clearly describe various specific embodiments disclosed herein. One skilled in the art, however, will understand that the presently claimed invention may be practiced without all of the specific details discussed below. In other instances, well known features have not been described so as not to obscure the invention.

[0003] The present subject matter is a fork with a plurality of tines 5 or other utensil that is vertically affixed to the inner side of the center of your jar's lid 10. This allows the user to easily poke at the contents inside the jar without having to dirty another utensil or someone reaching in with their dirty hands.

[0004] In some embodiments, the utensil lid can be made from food-safe plastic or metal which is forked tipped at the end so the utensil may reach the bottom of the jar.

[0005] In some embodiments, a consumer version has a magnet that can be joined to the bottom of the lid allowing consumers the ability to exchange the present subject matter from jar to jar. In another embodiment, a commercial version would be manufactured directly into a product's jar lids. In other embodiments, a suction cup may be used to attach the utensil to the lid.

1. A fork lid comprising of a fork and a lid.

2. The fork lid as in claim 1, wherein the fork is vertically affixed to the center of the jar lid down into the contents of the jar.

4. A fork lid comprising of a fork and a lid.

5. The fork lid as in claim 4, wherein the fork is magnetically affixed to the center of the jar lid down into the contents of the jar.

6. The fork lid as in claim 4, wherein the magnetically affixed ForkLid may be removed from one jar lid and affixed to another jar lid.
