BACKGROUND

[0001] Inventions related to water bottles have been described in the prior art patent literature.

[0002] For example, U.S. Pat. No. 8,905,252 discloses drink containers including a liquid container and a cap assembly removably coupled to the liquid container. Cap assemblies include a base, a drink spout extending from the base, a closure configured to be removably coupled relative to the drink spout in a closed position to selectively restrict dispensing of drink liquid through the drink spout and to selectively permit dispensing of drink liquid through the drink spout when removed from the drink spout. Cap assemblies further may include a handle extending from the base and configured to selectively retain the closure in a stowed position when the closure is selectively removed from the drink spout. In some embodiments, the handle defines a closed perimeter and the closure is received within the closed perimeter when positioned in the stowed position. Some embodiments further include a tether that couples the closure to the cap assembly or to the liquid container.

Claims

1. A stainless steel water bottle, comprising:a stainless steel body, wherein the stainless steel body is coated in silicone; anda cap, wherein the cap is also coated in silicone to provide a tight seal with the stainless steel body.

2. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 1, wherein the stainless steel body is coated in silicone on the inside.

3. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 1, wherein the stainless steel body is coated in silicone on the outside.

4. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 1, wherein the stainless steel cap is coated in silicone on the cap surfaces touching the stainless steel body when the cap is applied to the body.

5. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 1, wherein one or more of the stainless steel body and cap have a 3-5 mm rough angular surface.

6. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 5, wherein one or more of the stainless steel body and cap have a 3-5 mm rough angular surface created by grit media.

7. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 6, wherein the grit media is Aluminum Oxide.

8. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 6, wherein the grit media is 24 grit.

9. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 6, wherein the grit media is Silicon Carbide.

10. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 1, wherein the grit media is 30 grit.

11. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 1, wherein the stainless steel body is a double walled stainless steel body.

12. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 1, wherein the stainless steel body is an insulated stainless steel bottle body.

13. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 1, wherein the bottom of the cap is coated to provide a seal.

14. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 1, wherein the top of the cap is coated to provide a grip.

16. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 1, further comprising an elastic handle.

17. The stainless steel water bottle of claim 1, wherein the cap is made of stainless steel.
