Abstract

The invention relates to a method (100) for a control of a function of a vehicle (1), in particular a remote control, wherein the vehicle (1) has at least one wireless communication device (3) for communicating with a mobile terminal (2), and a digital vehicle key (4) is stored on the mobile terminal (2). According to the method, a wireless connection is first established with the mobile terminal (2) by means of the wireless communication device (3). The vehicle status is detected and it is ascertained whether an action is required or possible on the basis of the vehicle status. If so, an indication (5) is output on the mobile terminal (2), said indication indicating the action and being usable for a remote control of a corresponding function of the vehicle (1) using the digital vehicle key (4).
