Abstract
Description
[0001]WATER HEATING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES OR BOATS Description of the invention The invention, as the title of this specification establishes, is a water heating system for vehicles or boats. This is an innovation that, within the current techniques, provides advantages previously unknown. Technical sector The present invention is situated in the field of heating, in hot water supply systems for domestic use, as well as in the classification corresponding to vehicles in general, specifically in electrical circuits or fluid circuits specially adapted to vehicles and not provided for elsewhere. State of the art The present invention arises from the problem of having hot water in motorhomes and the difficulty or cost that this may represent. This is because, traditionally, water heating in motorhomes has been achieved through the use of fuel-intensive systems, which can be costly and inefficient. Furthermore, these systems often have limitations in terms of the amount of water they can heat and the time it takes to do so. Accordingly, the present invention offers an improved water heating system for a motorhome that allows for more efficient and sustainable water heating, utilizing alternative energy sources with greater efficiency and lower cost. Currently, there is no known improved water heating system for a motorhome that has structural and constructive technical characteristics equal to or similar to those described in this specification, as claimed.of the invention The object of the present invention is the creation of a water heating system for vehicles or boats, which provides a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently collected in the final claims that accompany this description. The present invention is a water heating system for vehicles or boats, which comprises stationary heating equipment connected to a heat exchanger and a water heater that has a water pump and two heat sources, capable of allowing water to be heated for a variety of purposes in a camper vehicle. The stationary heating equipment is an air conditioning system that operates independently of the camper van.Stationary heating uses diesel fuel to heat the room while parked and stopped. This solves the problem of efficiency and cost in supplying hot water to motorhomes, camper vans, or boats, making this essential resource more accessible for the comfort and well-being of those who enjoy road trips. It is also applicable to boats. This system is useful for obtaining hot water more efficiently and sustainably in these vehicles or boats, making them easier to use and ensuring a more comfortable and satisfying experience for users. To this end, the system comprises a heat exchanger, the first end of which is connected to the exhaust gas duct of the stationary heating system. The heat exchanger is connected to the interior of the water heater in such a way that the hot exhaust gases heat the water in the water heater, for example, using a recirculation pump. The heat exchanger is responsible for transferring thermal energy from the heating system to the water circulating through the system, so that the water is heated without the need for expensive, energy-intensive conventional systems. In turn, the boiler stores the hot water to be used in the motorhome or camper van. In this way, optimal hot water management is achieved in these vehicles, ensuring a comfortable and satisfactory experience for their users.Explanation of the figures To complete the description being provided and to aid in a better understanding of the features of the invention, a figure is attached to this specification, as an integral part thereof, in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following are represented. Figure 1 corresponds to a diagram of the water heating system for vehicles or boats. The water heating system for vehicles or boats is applicable to stationary heating equipment (1) and water heaters (3) that certain vehicles and boats currently have. The system comprises a heat exchanger (2) whose first end is connected to the exhaust gas duct (1.1) of the stationary heating equipment (1), and the heat exchanger (2) being connected to the interior of the water heater (3) in such a way that the hot exhaust gases heat the water in the water heater (3). To do this, a pump (4) recirculates the water in the water heater (3). Thus we can proceed to heat the water without having to start the vehicle or boat, optimizing resources, since we are taking advantage of the exhaust gases that are at a high temperature to heat the water before expelling them to the outside.Preferably, the water heater (3) has two heat sources (5), which are a 12-volt electric resistance and a 220-volt electric resistance, where the 12-volt electric resistance is responsible for heating the water when a motorhome is in motion, while the 220-volt electric resistance allows the water to be heated when the motorhome is connected to standard alternating current (AC) when it is in a garage, campsite or any place that has this source of electrical power. By having a 220V electric resistance we can use the water heater when the boat or vehicle is connected to the electrical grid.Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to explain it further so that any expert in the field may understand its scope and the advantages derived from it, stating that, within its essence, it may be put into practice in other embodiments that differ in detail from that indicated by way of example, and to which it will also achieve the protection sought provided that its fundamental principle is not altered, changed or modified.
