Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] TOOL FOR WIRING PIPE AND DUCT

[0003] Object of the invention

[0004] The invention, as the title of this specification states, is a tool for widening pipes and ducts, which is an innovation that, within current techniques, provides previously unknown advantages.

[0005] Thanks to its design, this tool for expanding pipes and ducts will allow these parts to be expanded to the desired diameters.

[0006] Technical sector

[0007] Therefore, the invention falls within the industrial sector, specifically in the area of tools for widening pipes and ducts.

[0008] Background of the invention

[0009] A pipe is a conduit used to transport water or other fluids. It is made from a wide variety of materials.

[0010] Pipe flaring is a technique that allows the internal diameter of a pipe to be increased at one end to allow the introduction of another pipe of the same diameter and then welded together by capillary action.

[0011] In this case, there is a tool for widening pipes and conduits that can be used easily, practically and safely, since once the pipe is placed in the tool, the user can manually take it by a grip handle and operate it by means of a button, so that the inserted pipe is widened by means of heating it, producing the contraction-expansion to the desired diameter.

[0012] To this end, the present invention provides a tool for expanding pipes and ducts that will provide better results in the work performed, achieving customer satisfaction.

[0013] Description of the invention

[0014] The object of the present invention is the creation of a tool for widening pipes and conduits, which provides a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany this description.

[0015] The tool for expanding pipes and conduits, was born from the work carried out in plumbing regarding the installation and repair of drains through pipes, where mostly this work is done manually, which requires physical effort. This work is sometimes done with some simple accessories, resulting in effective installation, but other times it is necessary to apply other more complex methods since the pipe joints must keep a correct direction in order to have a successful assembly. Such is the case of this tool for expanding pipes and conduits, which will have the function of operating through a handle to then contract the pipe to be expanded and then it is expanded according to the measurements that the installer requires and at the end of this process, this lever is released, thus obtaining the already expanded pipe.A simple, practical, and useful tool for professionals in this field, helping them achieve greater precision in tube expansion and improving the quality of their service.

[0016] To this end, the tool for expanding pipes and conduits comprises a head through which the mouth of the pipe to be expanded is introduced, such that the head moves from a contracted position in which the diameter is smaller than when it moves to its expanded position, for which the head has a dilating mechanism actuated by a drive means, and the head is connected to a grip handle.

[0017] Brief description of the figures

[0018] To complete the description being made and in order to help better understand the characteristics of the invention, a figure is attached to this specification as an integral part thereof, in which the following has been represented for illustrative and non-limiting purposes.

[0019] Figure 1 shows a view of the tool for widening pipes and ducts.

[0020] Exposition of a detailed embodiment of the invention

[0021] The object of the present invention is a tool for widening pipes and conduits, which provides a notable innovation within its field of application, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the claims.

[0022] The tool for widening tubes and conduits comprises a head (1) through which the mouth of the tube (2) to be widened is introduced, such that the head (1) passes from a contracted position in which the diameter is smaller than when it passes to its dilated position, for which the head (1) has a dilation mechanism actuated by a drive means, and the head (1) is connected to a grip handle (3), this allows both functions such as dilation and contraction to be performed at the same time, also achieving greater safety and quality of the product without deterioration, as well as saving time, money and high performance of the same without overexertion.

[0023] According to a preferred embodiment, the actuating means is a manual lever (4) located on the grip handle (3), thus easily applying the actuation of the tool quickly and with less effort.

[0024] According to another preferred embodiment, the dilation mechanism is formed by two semi-cylindrical tubular elements (5), through the distal ends of which the tube (2) is introduced, and the other end of the lower semi-cylindrical tubular element (5.1) is connected to the lever (4), such that when the lower semi-cylindrical tubular element (5.1) is pressed, it moves away from the upper semi-cylindrical tubular element (5.2), the tubular elements (5) being connected by means of a connecting means that allows relative movement between both, thus guaranteeing the exact diameter required to be dilated, allowing the tube to contract inwards with greater dynamism. According to another preferred embodiment, the tubular elements (5) are made of stainless steel, being a light alloy material, low cost and high resistance.

[0025] According to another preferred embodiment, the lever (4) is moved by a servomotor powered by a rechargeable battery, achieving less heating of the tool at a constant speed.

[0026] According to another preferred embodiment, an air level (6) is attached horizontally to the grip handle (3), which allows viewing, measuring and determining the horizontality of the tool.

[0027] The handle can be equipped with a level and degree scale to correctly direct the cable to the desired angle, making the connection even easier.
