Abstract
Description
Preprocessing method of architectural design models for BIM modeling and automated BIM modeling method using the same
[0001] The present invention relates to a preprocessing method of an architectural design model for BIM modeling and an automated BIM modeling method using the same, and more specifically, to a preprocessing method of an architectural design model for BIM modeling and an automated BIM modeling method using the same, which receives a command to preprocess objects included in the design model by implementing a design model with a user interface, activates a pointer so that a shape is selected by specifying an area or coordinates in the design model, and automatically extracts object name, shape information, or location information of an object based on the selected shape or text to generate preprocessing data for BIM modeling.
[0002] When constructing a building, multiple parties, such as the building owner, the designer in charge of the design, the subcontractor in charge of the structure, equipment, and fire protection, the construction company constructing the building, and the supervisor in charge of supervising the building, communicate with each other through the language of drawings.
[0003] However, due to budgetary and time constraints, most designers primarily design documents based on floor plans, which only contain the physical form. This often leads to subcontractors either failing to review the design or misunderstanding the building's form. In particular, construction companies, which expend significant time and money on the actual construction of a building, face difficulties in accurately and promptly estimating quantities, leading to lawsuits over construction costs and defects. Furthermore, the building clients, who interact most closely with designers, often have the least understanding of architecture, making communication through floor plans limited.
[0004] For this reason, the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM), which combines 3D models with construction information, is actively promoted in the architectural design field. BIM allows for the preemptive review of all errors and waste arising from architectural planning, design, construction, and maintenance stages using a single BIM data set, maximizing accuracy and productivity. Notably, BIM procurement will be mandatory for public housing projects above a certain size by 2024, and by 2030, BIM-based design will be mandatory for all public projects.
[0005] However, the active adoption of BIM in the architectural design field still faces many challenges due to practical and institutional factors. Design firms struggle to secure BIM experts, standards for design deliverables vary across clients, initial costs are excessively high relative to their utility, and software diversity is a major reason why BIM is only being used by large design firms and construction companies. In particular, BIM requires a variety of data for cost estimation, but only public project clients and large construction companies are equipped to handle this data. Therefore, BIM adoption is not actively considered except for large-scale projects.
[0006] Therefore, although most stakeholders agree that architectural design utilizing BIM is the ultimate goal, practical difficulties still exist in the introduction and utilization of BIM for private architects' projects and small design firms. Therefore, measures are needed to support building owners and designers to actively utilize BIM in the early stages of planning and designing a building.
[0007] Furthermore, considering the traditional situation in which most architectural designs are made using 2D or 3D design drawings and the position of designers who are accustomed to existing 2D or 3D CAD design programs, it is realistically difficult to rapidly introduce BIM.
[0008] Meanwhile, Republic of Korea Patent No. 10-0486670 (registered on April 22, 2005, hereinafter referred to as “prior art document 1”) proposed a system that uses a 2D CAD drawing to additionally input hierarchical spatial information, location information, and object characteristic information required for a 3D shape, creates a logical 3D shape, and then creates this as a physical 3D shape. However, although the prior art document 1 uses the shape information of the 2D CAD drawing, it has the inefficiency of requiring the user to input spatial information, location information, and object characteristic information by typing in a separate first program to form 3D logical data, and there was also the problem that 3D physical data was formed only by recombining the shape information and 3D logical data in a second program.
[0009] In addition, Korean Patent No. 10-1815034 (registered on December 28, 2017, hereinafter referred to as “prior art document 2”) proposed a device and method for constructing a BIM object by extracting work items and material information for each room section from a basic drawing. However, the prior art document 2 extracts multiple unit drawings from a basic drawing, extracts work items and material information from each unit drawing, and stores them in the form of a database to be used for creating a BIM object, but cannot utilize the shape information for each object in the basic drawing. Furthermore, there was a limitation that additional work had to be done using separate BIM software to create a BIM object.
[0010] The present invention proposes a preprocessing method for an architectural design model for BIM modeling and an automated BIM modeling method using the same to solve the problems of the prior art described above. The purpose is to build a BIM modeling environment in which even designers familiar with traditional CAD programs can easily access and utilize BIM modeling while taking into account the reality that most architectural designs are conducted using two-dimensional design models, and in which subcontractors and construction companies can more actively introduce BIM modeling.
[0011] In addition, the ultimate goal is to activate BIM modeling to more effectively support decision-making by building owners and designers, and further, to maximize productivity through comprehensive decision-making in the architectural planning, design, construction, and maintenance stages by utilizing BIM data by all stakeholders, including subcontractors and construction companies.
[0012] In order to achieve the above-described purpose, the present invention provides a preprocessing method (PM) of an architectural design model for BIM modeling, wherein each step is performed by a preprocessing device (PA) of an architectural design model including a memory (10) and a processor (20). The PM may include a design model implementation step (S10) of loading design model data from a memory and outputting a design model to a user interface; a command receiving step (S20) of receiving a command for preprocessing objects included in the design model from the user interface; a pointer activation step (S30) of activating a pointer so that a shape or text including a virtual plane area (Boundary) specified by a line (Line) or lines in which an area or coordinates are specified in the design model is selected; and a data storage step (S40) of automatically extracting an object name, shape information, location information, or attribute information of an object based on the selected shape or text to generate preprocessing data for BIM modeling.
[0013] In addition, the command of the command receiving step (S20) may include a command to select the input type as one of a structural member type including a column, beam, wall, slab, roof or foundation, a space, a list or an interior material finishing table.
[0014] In addition, the data storage step (S40) may include a requirement determination step (S41) for determining whether a shape or text selected by a pointer satisfies requirements according to a predefined input type; a symbol recognition step (S42) for recognizing a symbol specified in the selected shape or text when the requirements of the input type are satisfied; an information extraction step (S43) for extracting an object name, shape information, and location information of an object using the selected shape or text based on the recognized symbol; and a data storage step (S44) for converting the extracted object name, shape information, location information, or attribute information into semi-structured data and storing it, or uploading it to a BIM modeling server (BS) and storing it in a database (DB).
[0015] In addition, in the requirement judgment step (S41), if the shape or text selected by the pointer does not meet the requirements according to the selected input type, or in the symbol recognition step (S42), if the symbol specified in the selected shape or text does not include a symbol related to the selected input type, this may be judged as an error and the process may return to the pointer activation step (S30).
[0016] In addition, if the design model is a two-dimensional model and the input type received in the command receiving step (S20) is a column, which is a structural member, the requirement determination step (S41) of the data storage step (S40) determines that the convex polygon specified by the selected shape is a column member if the selected shape satisfies the conditions of the column member, i) being a convex polygon, or ii) protruding in the opposite direction to the direction of the adjacent parallel line of the line with respect to the virtual extension line for the intersecting line.
[0017] In addition, if the design model is a two-dimensional model, and the input type received in the command receiving step (S20) is a structural member such as a beam or a wall, the requirement determination step (S41) of the data storage step (S40) is characterized in that if the selected shape satisfies the conditions of a beam or wall member, i) a pair of parallel lines, or ii) a center line of a pair of parallel lines, a rectangle specified by the selected shape is determined to be a beam or wall member, and if the selected shape satisfies the conditions of a beam or wall member defined in advance, a shape designated to the same layer as that designated to the selected shape is automatically selected as a beam member together.
[0018] In addition, in the case where the input type received in the command receiving step (S20) is a wall, which is a structural member, the symbol recognition step (S42) recognizes the symbol of the designated opening, and the information extraction step (S43) can additionally extract the object name, shape information, location information, or attribute information for the opening using a selected shape or text based on the symbol of the recognized opening.
[0019] In addition, if the design model is a two-dimensional model and the input type received in the command receiving step (S20) is a slab, the interface is activated after the data storage step (S44) for the beam member is completed, and the requirement determination step (S41) of the data storage step (S40) determines that the polygon specified by the selected shape is a slab member if the selected shape satisfies the conditions of the slab member, such that i) a polygon closed by the center line of the beam member or ii) an outer line is specified.
[0020] In addition, if the design model is a two-dimensional model and the input type received in the command receiving step (S20) is a space, the interface is activated after the data storage step (S44) for the wall member is completed, and the requirement determination step (S41) of the data storage step (S40) determines the selected shape (the virtual plane area (Boundary) specified by lines) as a space if the specified coordinates are located within the virtual plane area specified by the walls, and the symbol recognition step (S42) recognizes the specified real name as a symbol, and the information extraction step (S43) can additionally extract object name, shape information, location information, or attribute information for the room using the selected shape or text based on the recognized real name.
[0021] And, if the design model is a two-dimensional model and the input type received in the command receiving step (S20) is an interior material finishing table, the symbol recognition step (S42) recognizes the specified real name as a symbol, and the information extraction step (S43) can extract the object name, shape information, location information, or attribute information for the room using a selected shape or text based on the recognized real name.
[0022] Meanwhile, an automated BIM modeling method (AM) is provided in which each step is performed by a BIM modeling server (BS) including a memory (100) in which a BIM authoring program for implementing a BIM model is stored, a server processor (200) for executing the BIM authoring program, and a database (DB), wherein a plurality of preprocessing data generated by the preprocessing device (PA) is stored in the database (DB), and the server processor (200) loads the plurality of preprocessing data stored in the database (DB) and integrates object name, shape information, location information, and attribute information by symbol for each object, thereby generating a BIM model.
[0023] According to the preprocessing method of an architectural design model for BIM modeling of the present invention and the automated BIM modeling method using the same, the object name, shape information, location information or attribute information of an object are automatically extracted based on a shape or text selected by a pointer, so that even users who are only accustomed to traditional CAD programs can easily use it, thereby providing an opportunity for easy access to BIM modeling.
[0024] Even though each designer has a different drawing creation format, preprocessing data can be automatically generated using common drawing characteristics, enabling universal data preprocessing and BIM modeling.
[0025] Additionally, since objects are automatically identified by absence type during the preprocessing process and provided to the user, workability is improved, which can save time and cost.
[0026] Furthermore, as a design model, there is an advantage in that it is possible to individually extract object names, shape information, location information, or property information for objects using floor plans, structural schedules, window plans, window schedules, and interior material finish tables, while integrating shape information, location information, and property information for objects to implement an automated BIM model.
[0027] In particular, it integrates shape information, location information, and attribute information of objects through symbols commonly described in drawings without complex algorithms, and each piece of information is stored and integrated in a semi-structured data format, enabling lightweight and fast modeling. It also prevents the insertion of unnecessary noise data, enabling the implementation of concise BIM modeling.
[0028] This will motivate not only designers but also subcontractors and construction companies to more actively adopt BIM modeling, and establish a BIM modeling environment for the construction industry.
[0029] Ultimately, BIM modeling can be activated to more effectively support decision-making by building owners and designers, and furthermore, all stakeholders, from subcontractors to construction companies, can utilize BIM data to maximize productivity through comprehensive decision-making across the architectural planning, design, construction, and maintenance stages.

[0046] Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail based on matters illustrated in the drawings. However, if it is determined that a specific description of a related known function or configuration may unnecessarily obscure the gist of the present invention, the detailed description will be omitted.
[0047] FIG. 1 is a conceptual diagram illustrating an overall preprocessing device (A) of an architectural design model for BIM modeling and a BIM modeling server (BS) according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0048] The above preprocessing device (A) reads a design model created using a traditional 2D or 3D CAD program that focuses on shapes, and preprocesses it to convert object names, shape information, location information, or attribute information for extracted objects into semi-structured data, or stores the same in a database (DB). Thereafter, the BIM modeling server (BS) automatically performs BIM modeling by integrating shape information, location information, and attribute information based on the object name of the object using the preprocessing data stored in the database (DB).
[0049] First, the preprocessing device (A) of the architectural design model for the BIM modeling may be implemented in the form of a user's PC (Personal Computer) or a server, and may include a memory (10) and a processor (20). The user of the preprocessing device (A) may be various entities, but is preferably the designer who created the design model, and may also be the management entity of the BIM modeling server (BS). That is, in some embodiments, when the management entity of the BIM modeling server (BS) also serves as the management entity of the preprocessing device (A), the preprocessing device may be implemented together in the BIM modeling server (BS), and in that case, the memory and the process may be implemented in the server.
[0050] The above memory (10) stores a model authoring program for implementing a preprocessing method (PM) of an architectural design model for BIM modeling of the present invention, and the model authoring program is executed and sequentially operated by the processor (20).
[0051] The above memory (10) may be configured as a main memory device implemented as a non-volatile or volatile memory that stores and reads commands that constitute a model authoring program, and an auxiliary memory device that stores a design model file executed by the model authoring program and reads the design model file into the main memory device.
[0052] In addition, the processor (20) is a concept encompassing a controller, a microcontroller, a microprocessor, and a microcomputer, and can be implemented by hardware or firmware, software, or a combination thereof.
[0053] In addition, the above model authoring program may be a CAD program that implements various 2D or 3D design models used by designers.
[0054] Meanwhile, the BIM modeling server (BS) includes a memory (100) in which a BIM authoring program for implementing a BIM model is stored, and a server processor (200) that executes the BIM authoring program for implementing the automated BIM modeling method (AM) of the present invention. The BIM authoring program is stored in the memory (100), and the BIM authoring program is executed and sequentially operated by the server processor (200).
[0055] The BIM modeling server (BS) can read preprocessing data created by a user of the preprocessing device (A) through a database (DB), load it into a memory (100), and automatically create a BIM model by a server processor (200). The database (BD) can be stored in an auxiliary memory device of the BIM modeling server (BS). In addition, the BIM modeling server (BS) can be implemented in the form of a web server so that the preprocessing device (A) can transmit preprocessing data based on the web.
[0056] The above BIM authoring program may be a variety of BIM authoring programs used in the field, and it is desirable that a representative type be provided as an extension program (plug-in function) by the developer.
[0057] Meanwhile, FIG. 2 is a block diagram illustrating a preprocessing method (PM) of an architectural design model for BIM modeling according to one embodiment of the present invention in a time series manner, and includes a design model implementation step (S10), a command receiving step (S20), a pointer activation step (S30), and a data storage step (S40), and each step is performed by a preprocessing device (A) of an architectural design model.
[0058] First, the design model implementation step (S10) is a step in which the processor (20) loads design model data from the memory (10) and outputs the design model to the user interface. The design model may be a two-dimensional or three-dimensional design model, and may include a floor plan, a window plan, a structural list, a window list, an interior material finish list, etc. Of course, in the case of a three-dimensional design model, it may be output in various perspective projection methods depending on the view settings.
[0059] Meanwhile, the design model defined in the present invention is implemented as a data file containing at least one data file, and may be composed of a single data file, but is mostly composed of multiple data files, with one data file for each drawing. Accordingly, the processor (20) of the preprocessing device (A) of the present invention can sequentially read and load multiple data files to generate a plurality of preprocessing data.
[0060] Next, the command reception step (S20) is a step in which the processor (20) receives a command from the user interface for preprocessing objects included in the design model. Since the general-purpose model authoring program has various commands for authoring design models, the preprocessing process of the architectural design model is prepared by receiving a unique command for preprocessing the design model.
[0061] At this time, the command of the command receiving step (S20) may include a command to select the input type as one of a structural member type including a column, beam, wall, slab, roof or foundation, a space, a list or an interior material finishing table.
[0062] In one embodiment, in the design model implementation step (S10), when the processor (20) implements the floor plan as a design model, the input type for preprocessing may be selected through the user interface, such as one of the structural member types, namely, a column, beam, wall, slab, roof, or foundation, or a space may be selected. Fig. 3 illustrates a user interface in which a column is input as the input type.
[0063] In another embodiment, although not shown, in the design model implementation step (S10), when the processor (20) implements a structure list or window list as a design model, the input type for preprocessing can be selected as a list through the user interface.
[0064] Additionally, commands can be received from the user through templates implemented in the user interface, even if they are not shown. Templates can be categorized and provided to systematically select input types for work.
[0065] Next, the pointer activation step (S30) is a step in which the processor (20) activates the pointer so that a shape or text including a virtual plane area (Boundary) specified by a line or lines in which an area or coordinates are specified in the design model is selected.
[0066] The processor (20) selects one or more shapes or texts according to the designation of a pointer input through a user interface. The shape includes a line or a virtual plane area (Boundary) specified by lines, and the virtual plane area (Boundary) means the internal area when a closed polygon is formed on a plane by a plurality of lines or their extensions.
[0067] Meanwhile, the pointer activation step (S30) may be activated by a sub-command to activate the pointer to select a shape or text, and a line drawing function or a shape modification function may be activated, or a text input function may be activated.
[0068] In particular, in a two-dimensional model, if the input type received as a command in the command receiving step (S20) is a roof among structural members, as illustrated in Fig. 9, the pointer activation step (S30) can activate not only the shape selection but also the line drawing function. In addition, in the case of a roof member, not only can an outline be selected or drawn, but also a dividing line for a boundary line for an opening within the outline or an inflection point of a slope can be selected or drawn.
[0069] In addition, in the two-dimensional model, even if the input type received as a command in the command receiving step (S20) is a footing among structural members, the pointer activation step (S30) can activate not only the shape selection but also the line drawing function. In particular, in the case of a footing member, not only can an outline be selected or drawn, but also a boundary line for a pit within the outline can be selected or drawn. Furthermore, these functions can be implemented in the same way even if the input type is a slab among structural members.
[0070] Next, the data storage step (S40) is a step in which the processor (20) automatically extracts the object name, shape information, location information, or attribute information of an object using a selected shape or text to create preprocessing data for BIM modeling.
[0071] Meanwhile, the object defined in the present invention includes individual structural members and architectural members having instances, and the structural members include columns, beams, walls, slabs, roofs, or foundations, and the architectural members include openings (windows), insulation, finishing materials, and base materials.
[0072] Additionally, the shape information may be information about the three-dimensional shape of an individual object, and the location information may be information about levels and coordinates on a plane. Furthermore, the attribute information may be characteristic information such as the reinforcement of structural members that are not specified by shape, the material or thermal transmittance of building members, etc.
[0073] In one embodiment, in the command receiving step (S20), when a column, which is one of the structural member types, is selected as an input type for preprocessing through a user interface, and a specific shape is selected on a plan view, the processor (20) can automatically extract a symbol assigned to the selected shape, shape information of the selected shape, and location information. At this time, the symbol can be recognized based on the location centered on the selected shape, and if it is not recognized based on the location, a legend can be selected to recognize the symbol described in the legend. In addition, the extracted symbol can be defined as the object name of the corresponding object.
[0074] In another embodiment, in the command receiving step (S20), when the input type for preprocessing is selected as a list through the user interface and a table (table) is selected as a window area on the structure list or window list, symbols, shape information, location information, or attribute information can be automatically extracted from the shapes or text within the selected table.
[0075] In addition, the processor (20) may simply extract text information as it is when text is selected by a pointer, but may also extract classified keyword information by utilizing a set of synonyms and antonyms for keywords defined in advance. For example, when the word "Low E" is selected, it can be recognized and extracted as "Loyalty Glass."
[0076] Meanwhile, the data storage step (S40) can be further subdivided into a requirement determination step (S41), a symbol recognition step (S42), an information extraction step (S43), and a data storage step (S44), as illustrated in FIG. 4.
[0077] The above requirement judgment step (S41) is a step for judging whether the shape or text selected by the pointer satisfies the requirements according to the input type defined in advance.
[0078] For example, in the case where the design model implemented by the processor (20) is a floor plan, if a table is selected as an input type in the command receiving step (S20) and a shape is selected, it can be determined that the requirements are not met. In another embodiment, if the implemented design model is a floor plan and a column, which is a structural member, is selected as an input type in the command receiving step (S20) and a shape is selected, but the selected shape does not meet the requirements of a column, it can be determined that the requirements of the input type are not met.
[0079] Additionally, according to an embodiment, the processor (20) may automatically select a shape designated to the same layer as the selected shape when the shape selected from the design model satisfies requirements according to a predefined input type. For example, when a beam is selected among structural members, all shapes designated to the same layer as the selected beam may be automatically selected.
[0080] Next, the symbol recognition step (S42) is a step of recognizing a symbol specified in a selected shape or text when the input type requirements are met.
[0081] As described above, the symbol can be recognized based on the position centered on the selected shape, and if it is not recognized based on the position, the symbol described in the legend can be recognized based on the legend selected by the pointer. If the selected input type is a column among structural members, the processor (20) extracts a symbol corresponding to the column from the legend based on that. At this time, the process (20) returns to the pointer activation step (S30) while the input type is a structural member, and then may receive an additional sub-command to additionally select a legend or select text.
[0082] Meanwhile, in the above requirement determination step (S41), if the shape or text selected by the pointer does not satisfy the requirements according to the selected input type, or in the above symbol recognition step (S42), if the symbol specified in the selected shape or text does not include a symbol of a structural member related to the selected input type, this may be determined as an error and the process may return to the pointer activation step (S30).
[0083] In addition, the processor (20) may additionally provide an error correction step (S35) for correcting a portion of the design model before returning to the pointer activation step (S30) if the condition is not met. In the error correction step (S35), it is also possible to correct errors in text and input them, correct shapes such as lines of figures, or input them by drawing them anew.
[0084] Next, the above information extraction step (S43) is a step of extracting the object name, shape information, and location information of the object based on the recognized symbol and the selected shape or text.
[0085] In the above information extraction step (S43), as an example, even if an object having a symbol (object name) of "B1" is selected from the first floor plan for a beam as a type of structural member and the object name, shape information, and location information are extracted, additional shape information, location information, or attribute information can be extracted from the structural list for the same object having the symbol of "B1."
[0086] That is, even if two-dimensional shape information is extracted from a floor plan, and shape information, location information, or attribute information regarding depth or height cannot be extracted, remaining unspecified information can be extracted based on a structural diagram or other cross-section. For example, shape information or location information related to floor or height can be extracted from a shape selected in a cross-section.
[0087] Thereafter, information on individual objects, such as object name, shape information, location information, and attribute information, can be collected and integrated based on symbols by the automated BIM modeling method (AM) described later.
[0088] Next, the data storage step (S44) is a step in which the object name, shape information, location information, or attribute information extracted for each object is converted into semi-structured data and stored or stored in the form of a database (DB) on a server.
[0089] Semi-structured data defined in the present invention includes JSON files, XML files, CSV files, etc., and since each piece of information is created and stored in a semi-structured data format, fast modeling can be implemented by the automated BIM modeling method (AM) described later, and since the insertion of unnecessary noise data is prevented, concise BIM modeling can be implemented. At this time, the object name, shape information, location information, or attribute information extracted for each object can be converted into semi-structured data and stored, or uploaded so that the BIM modeling server (BS) can process it directly and store it in a database (DB).

[0091] Below, a preferred embodiment of the data storage step (S40) will be described for each representative input type received as a command in the command receiving step (S20). Meanwhile, it is assumed that the design model implemented in the above embodiment is a two-dimensional model.
[0092] <Structural member - Column (S40A)>
[0093] In the case where the input type received as a command in the command receiving step (S20) is a column among structural members, as shown in FIG. 5A, in the requirement determination step (S41A), the processor (20) determines whether the selected shape satisfies the conditions of a column member, namely, i) being a convex polygon, or ii) protruding in the opposite direction to the direction of an adjacent parallel line of the line with respect to an imaginary extension line for intersecting lines.
[0094] If the condition of the above column member is satisfied, the processor (20) determines the convex polygon specified by the selected shape as the column member, and recognizes the symbol of the specified column as described above (S42A). Meanwhile, ii) in the case of a column in which the selected shape protrudes in the opposite direction to the direction of the adjacent parallel line of the line with respect to the virtual extension line for the intersecting line, the specified convex polygon means a polygon formed by extending a line broken by the parallel line. Fig. 5b illustrates a user interface according to one embodiment, and illustrates a state in which a column is selected as an object and a symbol is recognized.
[0095] In addition, the processor (20) extracts object name, shape information, location information or attribute information for the column using a selected shape or text based on the symbol of the recognized column (S43A), generates preprocessing data, and then stores it in an auxiliary memory device of the memory (10) or uploads it to a BIM modeling server (BS) and stores it in a database (DB) (S44A).
[0096] <Structural member - Beam (S40B)>
[0097] In the above command receiving step (S20), if the input type received as a command is a beam among structural members, as shown in FIG. 6A, in the requirement determination step (S41B), the processor (20) determines whether the selected shape satisfies the conditions of a beam member, namely, i) a pair of parallel lines, or ii) a center line of a pair of parallel lines, and if either of the above conditions is satisfied, or iii) a pair of parallel lines is located between columns or between other selected beams, it is determined that the condition of a beam member is satisfied.
[0098] Meanwhile, the processor (20) can automatically select a shape designated as a layer identical to that designated for the selected shape as a supporting member when the shape selected from the design model satisfies the conditions of a predefined supporting member.
[0099] If the above condition of absence of a guard is satisfied, the processor (20) determines the rectangle specified by the selected shape as a guard member and recognizes the symbol of the designated guard. At this time, if multiple symbols are recognized for one object, a selection from among the multiple recognized symbols can be requested (S42B).
[0100] In addition, the processor (20) extracts object name, shape information, location information or attribute information about the beam using a selected shape or text based on the symbol of the recognized beam, and may also extract the beam location based on the level of the plan as the location information (S43B). Thereafter, the steps of generating preprocessing data and storing it in the auxiliary storage device of the memory (10) or uploading it to the BIM modeling server (BS) and storing it in the database (DB) are the same (S44B).
[0101] Meanwhile, Fig. 6b illustrates a user interface according to one embodiment, showing the process in which a centerline is selected as a shape, a beam is specified as an object, and then the extracted information is converted and stored in a recognized symbol state. Furthermore, Fig. 6c illustrates a state in which a BIM modeling server (BS), described later, automatically implements BIM modeling using preprocessed data of a beam object.
[0102] <Structural member - Wall (S40C)>
[0103] In the case where the input type received as a command in the command receiving step (S20) is a wall among structural members, as shown in FIG. 7a, in the requirement determination step (S41C), the processor (20) determines whether the selected shape satisfies the conditions of a wall member, namely, i) a pair of parallel lines, or ii) a center line of a pair of parallel lines.
[0104] In addition, the processor (20) can automatically select a shape designated as a wall member together with a shape designated as the same layer as the layer designated for the selected shape when the shape selected from the design model satisfies the conditions of a predefined wall member.
[0105] If the conditions of the above wall member are satisfied, the processor (20) determines the rectangle specified by the selected shape as a wall member and recognizes the symbol of the specified wall. At this time, if a specified opening exists, the processor (20) also recognizes the symbol of the opening (S42C). Fig. 7b illustrates a user interface according to one embodiment, and illustrates a state in which a center line is selected as a shape and the symbol of the specified wall is recognized. In addition, if multiple symbols are recognized simultaneously, a selection request may be made.
[0106] In addition, the processor (20) extracts object name, shape information, location information or attribute information for the wall using a selected shape or text based on the symbol of the recognized wall, and can also extract the height of the wall based on the level of the floor plan as the location information.
[0107] The above processor (20) can additionally extract object names, shape information, location information, or attribute information for the opening using a selected shape or text based on the symbol of the recognized opening when an opening exists (S43C). Thereafter, the steps of generating preprocessing data and storing it in an auxiliary storage device of the memory (10) or uploading it to a BIM modeling server (BS) and storing it in a database (DB) are the same (S44C).
[0108] Meanwhile, the processor (20) implements a window plan or a window list, and additionally extracts shape information, location information, or attribute information based on the opening symbol, thereby enabling the information on the wall and opening to be integrated and modeled in a BIM modeling server (BS) at a later time.
[0109] <Structural member - slab (S40D)>
[0110] In the above command receiving step (S20), if the input type received as a command is a slab among structural members, as illustrated in FIG. 8A, in the requirement determination step (S41D), the processor (20) determines whether the selected shape satisfies the conditions of a slab member, namely, that i) a polygon closed by the center line of the beam member or ii) an outer line is specified. At this time, the interface of the processor (20) is activated after the data storage step (S44B) for the beam member is completed with respect to the floor plan of the corresponding layer.
[0111] If the above slab absence condition is satisfied, the processor (20) determines the polygon specified by the selected shape as a slab absence. Meanwhile, FIG. 8b illustrates a user interface according to one embodiment, showing a state in which a slab is specified as an object and a symbol is recognized.
[0112] <Space (S40E)>
[0113] In the case where the input type received as a command in the command receiving step (S20) is space, as illustrated in Fig. 11, in the requirement determination step (S41E), the processor (20) determines whether the specified coordinates satisfy the condition of space, that is, being located within a virtual plane area specified by walls. At this time, the interface of the processor (20) is activated after the data storage step (S40C) for the wall member is completed.
[0114] When the condition of a space is satisfied, the processor (20) determines the shape selected by the specified coordinates (a virtual plane area (Boundary) specified by lines) as a space, and recognizes the symbol of the specified space name (S42E). As a result, the shape specified by the coordinates can be selected as a space, and the space name can be recognized.
[0115] Thereafter, the processor (20) recognizes the recognized real name as a symbol, and can extract object name, shape information, location information, or attribute information for the real object using a shape or text selected based on the recognized real name. In addition, when furniture or equipment exists, the processor (20) can additionally extract object name, shape information, location information, or attribute information for each object using a shape or text selected based on the name of the recognized furniture or equipment, etc. (S43E).
[0116] Meanwhile, the above processor (20) implements an interior material finishing table, and additionally, based on the real name and the names of finishing materials, base materials, insulation materials, furniture, equipment facilities, etc., shape information, location information, or attribute information can be extracted, thereby enabling the BIM modeling server (BS) to integrate and model information on the real name and the remaining finishing materials, base materials, insulation materials, furniture, equipment facilities, and other objects.
[0117] < Table of Contents (S40F) >
[0118] In the case where the input type received as a command in the above command receiving step (S20) is a list, as shown in Fig. 12, when a table (table) of a structure list or window list is selected as a window area through the user interface in the requirement determination step (S41F), it is determined whether the row and column structure according to the table is satisfied.
[0119] If the conditions of the above list are met, the symbol for each object is recognized (S42F), and the object name, shape information, location information, or attribute information according to the symbol of the object can be automatically extracted from the shape or text within the selected table (S43F).
[0120] Meanwhile, the above-mentioned schedule may include a column schedule, a beam schedule, and a wall schedule as structural schedules, and each may include basic cross-sectional shape information and reinforcement arrangement information as attribute information. In addition, the window schedule may include object names, shape information, and location information for openings (doors, windows), as well as information such as glass type, material, and thermal transmittance as attribute information.
[0121] < Interior Material Finishing Table (S40G)>
[0122] In the case where the input type received as a command in the above command receiving step (S20) is an indoor material finishing table, as shown in Fig. 13, when a table (table) of an indoor material finishing table is selected as a window area through the user interface in the requirement determination step (S41G), it is determined whether the row and column structure according to the table is satisfied.
[0123] If the conditions of the above list are met, the designated real name is recognized as a symbol (S42G), and the object name, shape information, location information, or attribute information according to the real name of the object can be automatically extracted from the shape or text within the selected table (S43G).
[0124] Meanwhile, in the case of insulation materials, a type-specific performance plan can be additionally input, and in the present invention, information can be extracted based on real names in the same manner as the interior material finishing table.
[0125]
[0126] Meanwhile, an automated BIM modeling method (AM) using a preprocessing method of an architectural design model for BIM modeling according to one embodiment of the present invention is performed in each step by a BIM modeling server (BS) including a memory (100) in which a BIM authoring program for implementing a BIM model is stored, a server processor (200) for executing the BIM authoring program, and a database (DB).
[0127] The above database (DB) contains a plurality of preprocessed data generated by the above-described preprocessing device (PA), which includes object names, shape information, location information, or attribute information extracted for each object, and may be converted into semi-structured data and stored. Fig. 14 illustrates a state in which a portion of a structural member according to one embodiment is converted and stored as semi-structured data.
[0128] Additionally, the template displayed on the user interface can be implemented with an upload function to connect to a BIM modeling server (BS), and the generated preprocessing data can be uploaded and stored in a database (DB) so that the BIM modeling server (BS) can process it without having to go through the process of saving semi-structured data as a file. The upload function indicated in blue can be used to store preprocessing data in the database (DB) by unit of detailed object on which preprocessing work was performed or by unit of entire work.
[0129] The above server processor (200) loads a plurality of preprocessing data stored in the above database (DB) and generates a BIM model by integrating object name, shape information, location information, and attribute information for each object by symbol.
[0130] In particular, the server processor (200) can integrate and model shape information, location information, or attribute information based on symbols of walls and openings using the extracted semi-structured data of walls and openings, and can also integrate and model information on objects such as finishing materials, base materials, insulation materials, furniture, or equipment for each room. Fig. 15 illustrates a state in which BIM modeling is automatically implemented using converted semi-structured data.
