[0038] The following describes the specific embodiments of the present disclosure in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Furthermore, the terms "first" and "second" and the like are used solely to distinguish one element from another and do not convey sequentiality or importance.
[0040] It should also be noted that, in the description of this disclosure, unless otherwise expressly specified or limited, the terms "disposed," "connected," "connected," and "installed" should be understood broadly. For example, they may refer to fixed connections, detachable connections, or integral connections; and they may refer to direct connections or indirect connections via an intermediary. Those skilled in the art will understand the specific meanings of these terms in this disclosure based on specific circumstances.
[0041] As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 12 , the present disclosure provides a stiffness conversion valve 100 and a valve core 10 thereof. The stiffness conversion valve 100 may be an electric valve, a mechanical valve, a pneumatic valve, etc., which is not limited in the present disclosure.
[0042] The stiffness conversion valve is a valve used to convert the stiffness of an application object (such as a suspension system 300). Referring to Figures 10 to 12, in the air spring 200 of the suspension system 300 of the vehicle 400, the stiffness conversion valve 100 can be used to connect the main air chamber 211 and the auxiliary air chamber 212 of the air spring 200, or to cut off the connection between the main air chamber 211 and the auxiliary air chamber 212 (even if the main air chamber 211 and the auxiliary air chamber 212 of the air spring 200 are not connected), so that the suspension system 300 can achieve conversion between different stiffnesses.
[0043] As shown in Figures 1 to 9, the stiffness conversion valve 100 provided in the present disclosure may include a valve stem 61 and a valve core 10, the valve core 10 is provided with a first hole 11, the valve stem 61 is partially accommodated in the first hole 11, the valve stem 61 is fixedly connected to the side wall of the first hole 11, and on an axis perpendicular to the valve stem 61, the stiffness conversion valve 100 includes multiple first sections 103, and on at least part of the first sections 103, the cross-sectional area of the first hole 11 is larger than the cross-sectional area of the valve stem 61.
[0044] Referring to Figure 1, the stiffness conversion valve 100 can also include a valve housing 40. The stiffness conversion valve 100 has a valve core accommodating cavity 20. The valve core 10 is located inside the valve housing 40, specifically, inside the valve core accommodating cavity 20. A valve port 30 is formed on the valve housing 40. The valve core 10 can cooperate with the valve port 30 of the stiffness conversion valve 100 under the drive of the valve stem 61 to close or open the valve port 30.
[0045] In the stiffness conversion valve 100 provided in the present disclosure, since the side wall of the valve stem 61 is fixedly connected to the first hole 11, for example, by welding or bonding, the reliability of the connection between the valve stem 61 and the first hole 11 can be ensured, which is beneficial to ensure the reliability of the valve core 10 moving to open or close the valve port 30 on the stiffness conversion valve 100.
[0046] In the related art, the valve stem and the mounting hole on the valve core are tightly fitted. However, the connection reliability of the tight fit is insufficient, and since the valve stem and the mounting hole on the valve core are tightly fitted, it is difficult to insert the valve stem into the mounting hole, resulting in difficulty in assembling the valve stem and the valve core.
[0047] In the stiffness switching valve 100 provided herein, the cross-sectional area of the first hole 11 is larger than the cross-sectional area of the valve stem 61 in at least a portion of the first cross-section 103 of the stiffness switching valve 100. By properly designing the portion of the valve stem 61 received within the first hole 11 (e.g., the first stem section 61 described below) and the dimensions of the first hole 11, the valve stem 61 can be easily inserted into the first hole 11 during assembly with the valve core 10, thereby reducing the difficulty in assembling the valve stem 61 and the valve core 10. For example, if the cross-sectional area of the first hole 11 is larger than the cross-sectional area of the valve stem 61 in any first cross-section 103 of the portion of the valve stem 61 received within the first hole 11, or if the cross-sectional area of the first hole 11 is larger than the cross-sectional area of the valve stem 61 in the first cross-section 103 of the open end of the first hole 11 through which the valve stem 61 is inserted, and if the open end is configured as a trumpet-shaped opening, the valve stem 61 can be easily inserted into the first hole 11, thereby reducing the difficulty in assembling the valve stem 61 and the valve core 10.
[0048] It can be seen from the above that by reasonably designing the part of the valve stem 61 accommodated in the first hole 11 and the size of the first hole 11, in the stiffness conversion valve 100 provided in the present invention, while ensuring the reliability of the connection between the valve stem 61 and the valve core 10, it is also beneficial to ensure the convenience of assembly of the valve stem 61 and the valve core 10.
[0049] In order to improve the reliability of the assembly of the valve stem 61 and the valve core 10 and avoid the valve stem 61 from shaking in the first hole 11, in one embodiment of the present disclosure, the valve stem 61 and the side wall of the first hole 11 can be welded, such as by brazing, that is, at least a portion of the side wall of the first hole 11 where the valve stem 61 is received is welded to the side wall of the first hole 11.
[0050] In the related art, since the valve stem is tightly fitted with the mounting hole, gas blockage and pressure accumulation caused by welding can easily cause deformation of the valve core and the valve stem.
[0051] In the present disclosure, as shown in Figures 1, 6, 8, and 9, the portion of the valve stem 61 received in the first hole 11 is referred to as the first stem segment 611, and the portion of the valve stem 61 located outside the first hole 11 is referred to as the second stem segment. As an alternative embodiment, as shown in Figure 6, at any first cross-section through the first stem segment 611, the cross-sectional area of the first hole 11 is greater than the cross-sectional area of the first stem segment 611. This design, as shown in Figure 6, allows for an axial through-hole to exist between the sidewalls of the first stem segment 611 and the sidewalls of the first hole 11, extending to at least one axial end face of the valve core 10. When the valve stem 61 is welded to the inner wall of the first hole 11, gases generated during welding can be discharged from the first hole 11 through this axial through-hole. This prevents gas blockage and pressure accumulation during welding, thereby improving weld quality and further enhancing the reliability of the connection between the valve stem 61 and the valve core 10, thereby ensuring the concentricity of the valve core 10 and the valve stem 61.
[0052] It is understood that in other optional embodiments of the present disclosure, among the multiple first cross-sections 103 passing through the first rod segment 611, the cross-sectional area of the first hole 11 is greater than the cross-sectional area of the first rod segment 611 only in some of the first cross-sections 103, while the cross-sectional area of the first hole 11 is equal to the cross-sectional area of the first rod segment 611 in some of the first cross-sections 103. This disclosure is not limited to this. For example, in the embodiment shown in FIG9 , among the multiple first cross-sections passing through the first rod segment 611, the cross-sectional area of the first hole 11 is equal to the cross-sectional area of the first rod segment 611 in some of the first cross-sections.
[0053] The present disclosure does not limit the cross-sectional shape of the first rod segment 611 and the cross-sectional shape of the first hole 11; they may be any appropriate shape. Alternatively, as shown in Figures 6, 8, and 9, in some embodiments of the present disclosure, at any first cross-section through the first rod segment 611, the cross-sectional shape of the first rod segment 611 may be circular, and the cross-sectional shape of the first hole 11 may be axisymmetric. For example, the cross-sectional shape of the first hole 11 may be axisymmetric, with the axis of symmetry extending in the horizontal direction and / or vertical direction as shown in Figures 3 and 4. This axisymmetric shape facilitates processing.
[0054] Furthermore, in embodiments where the first hole 11 is used to connect the first sub-chamber 21 and the second sub-chamber 22 of the valve core accommodating chamber 20, this design also helps ensure communication between the first sub-chamber 21 and the second sub-chamber 22, thereby reducing the pressure differential between the first sub-chamber 21 and the second sub-chamber 22 and improving the smoothness of movement of the valve core 10. As shown in Figures 2 to 4, the cross-section of the first hole 11 can include at least two arcuate segments 110 with different curvatures. That is, the sidewall of the first hole 11 can have arcuate portions with different degrees of curvature along the circumference of the first hole 11. Thus, if the cross-section of the first rod segment 611 is circular, when the first rod segment 611 and the first hole 11 are assembled, the outer sidewall of the first rod segment 611 can only contact a portion of the circumferential sidewall of the first hole 11, such as the arcuate portion with a larger radius of curvature of the first hole 11. The axial through hole for exhausting welding gas exists between the first rod segment 611 and the first hole 11.
[0055] The present disclosure does not limit the number of arc segments 110 with different curvatures. As shown in Figures 3 and 4, in one embodiment of the present disclosure, the cross-section of the first hole 11 may include two first arc segments 111 and two second arc segments 112, that is, the arc segment 110 may include two first arc segments 111 and two second arc segments 112, the curvature of the first arc segment 111 is smaller than the curvature of the second arc segment 112, in other words, the curvature radius of the first arc segment 111 is larger than the curvature radius of the second arc segment 112, the first arc segment 111 and the second arc segment 112 can be connected in sequence in an alternating manner, that is, one of the two first arc segments 111 is connected between one end of each of the two second arc segments 112, and the other first arc segment 111 of the two first arc segments 111 is connected between the other end of each of the two second arc segments 112.
[0056] As shown in Figures 5 and 6 , when the first rod segment 611 is assembled with the first hole 11, the outer wall of the first rod segment 611 contacts the sidewall portion of the first arc segment 11. The outer wall of the first rod segment 611 and the sidewall portion of the second arc segment 112 define the aforementioned axial through hole for exhausting welding gas. The provision of two first arc segments 111 and two second arc segments 112 in the first hole 11 facilitates mounting the valve stem 61 and defining the axial through hole. This also simplifies the structure of the first hole 11 and facilitates machining.
[0057] As shown in Figure 5, the side wall of the first hole 11 may include a first part 113 welded to the first rod segment 611 and a second part 114 with a gap between the first rod segment 611 and the first rod segment 611. The curvature of the first part 113 is smaller than the curvature of the second part 114, that is, the curvature radius of the first part 113 is larger than the curvature radius of the second part 114. Since the first hole 11 has a second part that is gap-fitted with the first rod segment 611 of the valve stem 61, the above-mentioned axial through hole can be constructed between the outer side wall of the first rod segment 611 and the second part 113.
[0058] It can be understood that in addition to being used to discharge gas during welding, the axial through hole can also increase the solder accommodation space. When welding the first part 113 and the first rod segment 611, the axial through hole can be used to accommodate the solder. Therefore, the solder can be appropriately increased to improve the reliability of welding the first rod segment 611 and the first hole 11.
[0059] Here, referring to FIG. 3 to FIG. 5 , the first portion 113 of the first hole 11 may be the portion of the sidewall of the first hole 11 including the first arc segment 111 , and the second portion 114 may be the portion of the sidewall of the first hole 11 including the second arc segment 111 .
[0060] In the present disclosure, as shown in Figures 2, 4, 5, 7 and 8, in some embodiments of the present disclosure, the first hole 11 may include a first sub-hole 115 and a second sub-hole 116, the first sub-hole 115 and the second sub-hole 116 are arranged at intervals, and the side wall of the first sub-hole 115 is connected to the side wall of the second sub-hole 116 through the through hole 12.
[0061] It is understood that the sidewalls of the first sub-hole 115 and the second sub-hole 116 are connected via the through-hole 12, which can include the connection method of the first sub-hole 115 and the second sub-hole 116 shown in Figures 2 and 5, or the connection method of the first sub-hole 115 and the second sub-hole 116 shown in Figures 7 and 8. In the embodiments shown in Figures 2 and 5, the sidewalls shared by the first sub-hole 115 and the second sub-hole 116 are completely eliminated, that is, the second sub-hole 116 is equivalent to being formed directly on the sidewall of the first sub-hole 115. In this case, the through-hole 12 connecting the first sub-hole 115 and the second sub-hole 116 is constructed as an elongated hole extending axially along the valve core 10. In the embodiments shown in Figures 7 and 8, the sidewalls shared by the first sub-hole 115 and the second sub-hole 116 are not eliminated, and the through-hole 12 is a radially extending hole provided on this shared sidewall.
[0062] In the present disclosure, as shown in FIG1 , the valve core can divide the valve core accommodating chamber 20 into a first sub-chamber 21 and a second sub-chamber 22, and the first hole 11 connects the first sub-chamber 21 and the second sub-chamber 22. The first sub-chamber 21 can communicate with the valve port 30, and the second sub-chamber 22 can communicate with the chamber where the core iron 62 of the stiffness switching valve 100 is located.
[0063] Since the first hole 11 connects the first sub-chamber 21 and the second sub-chamber 22, in the embodiments shown in Figures 1, 5 and 6, when there is a gap extending axially through the valve core 10 between the first rod segment 611 of the valve stem 61 and the side wall of the first hole 11, that is, when the cross-sectional area of the first hole 11 is greater than the cross-sectional area of the valve stem 61 at any first cross-section passing through the first rod segment 611, the first hole 11 can be used as a balancing hole, which can avoid the formation of a pressure difference between the first sub-chamber 21 and the second sub-chamber 22 due to the volume change of the valve core accommodating cavity 20 during the movement of the valve core 10, thereby avoiding the influence of the pressure difference on the smoothness of the movement of the valve core 10, that is, avoiding the reduction of the smoothness of the movement of the valve core 10 due to the pressure difference.
[0064] It should be noted that in some embodiments of the present disclosure, the first hole 11 may serve solely as a mounting hole for the valve stem 61 and not as the aforementioned balancing hole. That is, in some of the multiple first cross-sections of the first rod segment 611 of the valve stem 61, the cross-sectional area of the first hole 11 is equal to the cross-sectional area of the valve stem 61. As shown in FIG9 , in a first cross-section, the cross-sectional area of the portion near the lower end of the first segment 117 of the first hole 11 is equal to the cross-sectional area of the rod segment 611. In this manner, the first hole 11 does not serve to connect the first sub-chamber 21 and the second sub-chamber 22.
[0065] Optionally, as shown in Figures 5, 6, 8, and 9, in the axial direction of the valve stem 61, the first hole 11 includes at least a first section 117 and a second section 118. The cross-sectional area of the first section 117 is smaller than that of the second section 118. The sidewall of the first section 117 is welded to the valve stem 61. For example, the first section 117 can be welded to the first section 611 of the valve stem 61. By providing the second section 118, and extending the end of the second section 118 away from the first section 117 to the end face of the valve core 10 away from the valve stem 61 (such as the second end face 102 in Figure 5), during the assembly of the valve stem 61 to the valve core 10, the sidewalls of the welded valve stem 61 and the first section 117 can be welded together via the second section 118, thereby facilitating assembly of the valve stem 61 and the valve core 10. Furthermore, the design of the second section 118 on the first hole 11 also contributes to the lightweighting of the valve core 10.
[0066] When machining the first hole 11, injection molding can be used, or machining can be performed using tools such as a drill, which is not limited in this disclosure. In the embodiment shown in Figures 2 to 6 where the cross-section of the first hole 11 includes two first arcuate segments 111 and two second arcuate segments 112, a common round drill can be used to machine the first hole 11.
[0067] As shown in Figures 1, 2, and 7, the stiffness conversion 100 may further include an anti-collision pad 70 (also referred to as a buffer pad), which may be provided at the first axial end of the valve core 10 for contacting the inner wall of the second sub-chamber 22. The provision of the anti-collision pad 70 can reduce the noise caused by the valve core 10 colliding with the inner wall of the valve core accommodating chamber 20 (such as the upper inner wall in the drawing direction of Figure 1), while also protecting the valve core 10 and the structure constituting the valve core accommodating chamber 20 (such as the valve seat 61). The anti-collision pad 70 may include an abutting portion 71 for abutting against the inner wall of the valve core accommodating chamber 20.
[0068] The anti-collision pad 70 can be fixed to the valve core 10 in any suitable manner, which is not limited in this disclosure. Optionally, as shown in FIG5 , a mounting groove 14 is provided on the first end surface 101 of the valve core 10 , and the body 72 (e.g., an annular structure) of the anti-collision pad 70 can be bonded or integrally molded (e.g., injection molded) within the mounting groove 14 .
[0069] As shown in Figures 1, 2 and 7, the stiffness conversion valve 100 can also include a sealing gasket 80, which is arranged at the second end of the valve core 10 axially opposite to the first end. The sealing gasket 80 is used to seal the valve port 30 of the stiffness conversion 100 to ensure the reliability of closing the valve port 30.
[0070] The sealing gasket 80 can be fixed to the valve core 10 in any appropriate manner. Optionally, as shown in FIG2 , in one embodiment of the present disclosure, an annular boss 13 is formed at one end of the valve core 10 axially away from the anti-collision pad 70 , the sealing gasket 80 is annular and is sleeved on the annular boss 13, and an opening corresponding to the second section 118 is provided on the sealing gasket 80. A recess 15 is provided on the second end face 102 of the valve core 10, and the recess 15 can be plugged into and matched with the protrusion on the sealing gasket 80 to improve the reliability of the connection between the sealing gasket 80 and the valve core 10. Optionally, the protrusion can be bonded or integrally molded (such as injection molding) in the recess 15.
[0071] The present disclosure does not limit the specific structure of the stiffness conversion valve 100.
