Abstract
Description
Skin patch sheet
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a skin adhesive sheet.
[0002] Skin patches are widely used for the purposes of protecting affected areas of the skin from the outside or concealing parts of the skin from the outside. Patch sheets include a patch tape sandwiched between a carrier sheet and a release sheet. The patch tape includes a substrate in contact with the carrier sheet and an adhesive layer in contact with the release sheet. When the patch is used, the release sheet is first peeled off from the adhesive layer. The laminate of the patch tape and carrier sheet is then attached to the skin by the adhesive layer. The carrier sheet is then peeled off from the substrate (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
[0003] Patent No. 6706398
[0004] However, substrates that are attached to the skin are required to have high tensile elongation at break, such as polyurethane, in order to ensure conformability to the skin, but these substrates also have high adhesion to polyolefin-based and polyester-based carrier sheets, making it difficult to peel the carrier sheet from the substrate attached to the skin.
[0005] One embodiment of the skin adhesive sheet comprises a carrier sheet, a release sheet, and an adhesive tape positioned between the carrier sheet and the release sheet. The adhesive tape comprises a substrate in contact with the carrier sheet and having a higher tensile breaking elongation than the carrier sheet and the release sheet, and an adhesive layer in contact with the release sheet, the adhesive layer being attached to the skin after the release sheet is peeled off from the adhesive layer. The area of the carrier sheet is larger than the area of the adhesive tape. The carrier sheet includes a first region that does not overlap with the adhesive tape and a second region that overlaps with the adhesive tape. When viewed from a perspective opposite to the plane on which the carrier sheet extends, the carrier sheet has a slit extending from a portion of the outer edge of the carrier sheet that is included in the first region toward the adhesive tape, beyond the boundary between the first and second regions. The 180° peel strength between the carrier sheet and the substrate in accordance with JIS Z 0237:2009 is 2 N / 25 mm or less. The thickness of the carrier sheet is 10 μm or more and 400 μm or less. The depth D1 of the cut satisfies the following formula: 1 / 4T≦D1≦T, where T is the thickness of the carrier sheet.

The area of the carrier sheet is larger than that of the adhesive tape. The carrier sheet includes a first region that does not overlap with the adhesive tape and a second region that overlaps with the adhesive tape. The carrier sheet has a trouser tear strength of 10 N / mm or less in accordance with JIS K 7128-1: 1998. In the thickness direction of the carrier sheet, a remaining thickness TR1 of the carrier sheet continuing to the slit satisfies the following formula when the thickness of the carrier sheet is T: 0≦TR1≦3 / 4T

[0008] An embodiment of the skin adhesive sheet will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 15. [Skin adhesive sheet] A first configuration and a second configuration of the skin adhesive sheet of the present disclosure will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 3. Below, matters common to the first and second configurations will be described, and then the first and second configurations will be described in order.
[0009] 1, the skin adhesive sheet 10 comprises a carrier sheet 11, a release sheet 12, and an adhesive tape 13 located between the carrier sheet 11 and the release sheet 12. The adhesive tape 13 comprises a base material 13A and an adhesive layer 13B. The base material 13A is in contact with the carrier sheet 11 and has a higher tensile elongation at break than the carrier sheet 11 and the release sheet 12. The adhesive layer 13B is in contact with the release sheet 12. The adhesive layer 13B is applied to the skin after the release sheet 12 is peeled off from the adhesive layer 13B.
[0010] The 180° peel strength between the carrier sheet 11 and the substrate 13A is 2 N / 25 mm or less in accordance with JIS Z 0237: 2009. The 180° peel strength is a value measured by a method in accordance with JIS Z 0237: 2009 "Test methods for adhesive tapes and adhesive sheets."
[0011] As shown in Figure 2, the area of the carrier sheet 11 is larger than the area of the adhesive tape 13. When viewed from a viewpoint opposite to the plane on which the skin adhesive sheet 10 extends, the entire area of the carrier sheet 11 is larger than the entire area of the adhesive tape 13. The area of the carrier sheet 11 that does not overlap with the adhesive tape 13 is the first area 11R1, and the area that overlaps with the adhesive tape 13 is the second area 11R2. The carrier sheet 11 is composed of the first area 11R1 and the second area 11R2, and the sum of the areas of the first area 11R1 and the second area 11R2 is larger than the area of the adhesive tape 13. In the example shown in Figure 2, the release sheet 12 has the same shape as the adhesive tape 13.
[0012] The carrier sheet 11 has a slit 11A. In the example shown in Fig. 2, the carrier sheet 11 has only one slit 11A. When viewed from a viewpoint opposite to the plane on which the carrier sheet 11 extends, the slit 11A extends from a portion of the outer edge 11E of the carrier sheet 11 that is included in the first region 11R1 toward the attachment tape 13, beyond the boundary 11B between the first region 11R1 and the second region 11R2.
[0013] The slit 11A has a base end 11AP and a tip end 11AD. The base end 11AP of the slit 11A is located in a portion of the outer edge 11E of the carrier sheet 11 that is included in the first region 11R1. In contrast, the tip end 11AD of the slit 11A is located in a portion of the outer edge 11E of the carrier sheet 11 that is included in the second region 11R2. The tip end 11AD of the slit 11A may be located in a region of the second region 11R2 of the carrier sheet 11 that is more inward than the outer edge 11E.
[0014] 2, the carrier sheet 11 has a rectangular shape, and the first region 11R1 and the second region 11R2 are aligned along the short side. The slit 11A has a length that spans the entire short side of the carrier sheet 11. Alternatively, the slit 11A may have a length that spans the entire first region 11R1 and extends partway through the second region 11R2 along the short side of the carrier sheet 11.
[0015] 2, the slit 11A may have a straight line shape. Alternatively, the slit 11A may have a curved line shape or a folded line shape. When the slit 11A has a folded line shape, the slit 11A may have only one bent portion or may have two or more bent portions.
[0016] Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view including a portion of the carrier sheet 11 and a portion of the substrate 13A. Fig. 3 is also a cross-sectional view along a plane including the slit 11A of the carrier sheet 11. In the example shown in Fig. 3, the slit 11A has a depth D1 that reaches only a portion of the carrier sheet 11 in the thickness direction. The slit 11A may have a depth D1 that extends throughout the entire carrier sheet 11 in the thickness direction. When the slit 11A has a depth D1 that reaches only a portion of the carrier sheet 11 in the thickness direction, the carrier sheet 11 has a remainder 11RE that is continuous with the slit 11A in the thickness direction of the carrier sheet 11. The remainder 11RE of the carrier sheet 11 has a remaining thickness TR1 obtained by subtracting the depth D1 of the slit 11A from the thickness T of the carrier sheet 11.
[0017] The slit 11A is composed of a first portion 11AA and a second portion 11AB. The first portion 11AA is a portion of the slit 11A located in a first region 11R1 of the carrier sheet 11. The second portion 11AB is a portion of the slit 11A located in a second region 11R2 of the carrier sheet 11. In the example shown in FIG. 3 , the depth of the first portion 11AA is equal to the depth of the second portion 11AB. The depth of the first portion 11AA may be different from the depth of the second portion 11AB.
[0018] [First Configuration] The first configuration of the skin adhesive sheet 10 satisfies the following conditions: (Condition 1-1) The thickness of the carrier sheet 11 is 10 μm or more and 400 μm or less. (Condition 1-2) The depth D1 of the slit 11A satisfies the following formula when the thickness of the carrier sheet 11 is T: 1 / 4T≦D1≦T
[0019] In a carrier sheet 11 having a thickness of 10 μm or more and 400 μm or less, the 180° peel strength is 2 N / 25 mm or less, and the depth D1 of the slit 11A extending from outside the application tape 13 to inside the application tape 13 is in the range of ¼ T or more and T or less. Therefore, the carrier sheet 11 can be easily peeled from the substrate 13A starting from the slit 11A. In the present disclosure, the adhesion strength between the carrier sheet 11 and the substrate 13A is evaluated by the 180° peel strength.
[0020] From the viewpoint of facilitating peeling of the carrier sheet 11 starting from the slit 11A, it is preferable that the depth D1 of the slit 11A is deep. Therefore, the lower limit of the depth D1 may be 1 / 2T or 3 / 4T. From the viewpoint of preventing the substrate 13A from being cut during the production of the skin adhesive sheet 10 and preventing foreign matter from reaching the substrate 13A through the slit 11A, it is preferable that the depth D1 of the slit 11A is shallow. Therefore, the depth D1 may be less than T. Furthermore, the upper limit of the depth D1 may be 3 / 4T or 1 / 2T.
[0021] That is, from the viewpoint of facilitating peeling, the depth D1 of the slit 11A may be, for example, not less than ½T and not more than T, or not less than ¾T and not more than T. From the viewpoint of preventing the substrate 13A from being cut and preventing foreign matter from reaching the substrate 13A, the depth D1 of the slit 11A may be, for example, not less than ¼T and not more than T, or not less than ¼T and not more than ¾T, or not more than ¼T and not more than ½T. From the viewpoint of simultaneously achieving ease of peeling, preventing the substrate 13A from being cut, and preventing foreign matter from reaching the substrate 13A, the depth of the slit 11A may be, for example, not less than ½T and not more than ¾T.
[0022] The skin adhesive sheet 10 may satisfy the following conditions 1-3 and 1-4: (Condition 1-3) The depth of the portion of the slit 11A that overlaps the adhesive tape 13 in the carrier sheet 11 is shallower than the depth of the portion of the carrier sheet 11 that does not overlap the adhesive tape 13. In other words, the depth of the first portion 11AA of the slit 11A is deeper than the depth of the second portion 11AB of the slit 11A.
[0023] The portion of the slit 11A located on the adhesive tape 13 does not penetrate the carrier sheet 11. This prevents the substrate 13A from being cut along with the carrier sheet 11 during the production of the skin adhesive sheet 10, and also prevents foreign matter from reaching the substrate through the slit 11A before the skin adhesive sheet 10 is used.
[0024] (Condition 1-4) The carrier sheet 11 has a trouser tear strength of 10 N / mm or less in accordance with JIS K 7128-1:1998.
[0025] Since the trouser tear strength is 10 N / mm or less, the tearability of the carrier sheet 11 is improved, while the substrate 13A is prevented from being cut along with the carrier sheet 11 during the production of the skin adhesive sheet 10. Furthermore, it is possible to prevent foreign matter from reaching the substrate 13A through the slit 11A before use of the skin adhesive sheet 10. The lower limit of the trouser tear strength may be greater than 0, and may be, for example, 0.01 N / mm.
[0026] When the skin adhesive sheet 10 satisfies conditions 1-4, the depth of the first portion 11AA may be equal to the thickness T, while the depth of the second portion 11AB may be smaller than the thickness T. Alternatively, when the skin adhesive sheet 10 satisfies conditions 1-4, both the depth of the first portion 11AA and the depth of the second portion 11AB may be smaller than the thickness T. From the viewpoint of facilitating tearing of the carrier sheet 11 starting from the cut 11A, it is preferable that the depth of the first portion 11AA be equal to the thickness T.
[0027] [Second Configuration] The second configuration of the skin adhesive sheet 10 satisfies the following conditions: (Condition 2-1) The carrier sheet 11 has a trouser tear strength of 10 N / mm or less in accordance with JIS K 7128-1:1998.
[0028] (Condition 2-2) In the thickness direction of the carrier sheet 11, the remaining thickness TR1 of the remaining portion 11RE of the carrier sheet 11 connected to the cut 11A satisfies the following formula when the thickness of the carrier sheet 11 is T: 0≦TR1≦3 / 4T
[0029] In a carrier sheet 11 having a trouser tear strength of 10 N / mm or less, the 180° peel strength is 2 N / mm or less, and the remaining thickness of the carrier sheet 11 at a slit 11A extending from outside the application tape 13 to inside the application tape 13 is within the range of 0 to 3 / 4T. Therefore, the carrier sheet 11 can be easily peeled from the substrate 13A starting from the slit 11A.
[0030] From the viewpoint of facilitating peeling of the carrier sheet 11 starting from the slit 11A, it is preferable that the residual thickness TR1 at the slit 11A is thin. Therefore, the upper limit of the residual thickness TR1 may be 1 / 2T or 1 / 4T. From the viewpoint of preventing the substrate 13A from being cut during the production of the skin adhesive sheet 10 and preventing foreign matter from reaching the substrate 13A through the slit 11A, it is preferable that the residual thickness TR1 at the slit 11A is thick. Therefore, the residual thickness TR1 may be greater than 0. Furthermore, the upper limit of the residual thickness TR1 may be 1 / 4T or 1 / 2T.
[0031] That is, from the viewpoint of facilitating peeling, the remaining thickness TR1 may be 0 or more and 1 / 2T or less, or may be 0 or more and 1 / 4T or less. From the viewpoint of preventing the substrate 13A from being cut and preventing foreign matter from reaching the substrate 13A, the remaining thickness TR1 may be greater than 0 and 3 / 4T or less, or may be 1 / 4T or more and 3 / 4T or less, or may be 1 / 2T or more and 3 / 4T or less. From the viewpoint of simultaneously achieving ease of peeling, preventing the substrate 13A from being cut, and preventing foreign matter from reaching the substrate 13A, the remaining thickness TR1 may be, for example, greater than 0 and 1 / 2T or less, or may be 1 / 4T or more and 1 / 2T or less.
[0032] The skin adhesive sheet 10 may satisfy the following condition 2-3: (Condition 2-3) The remaining thickness of the portion of the slit 11A that overlaps the adhesive tape 13 in the carrier sheet 11 is thinner than the remaining thickness of the portion of the carrier sheet 11 that does not overlap the adhesive tape 13. In other words, the remaining thickness of the first portion 11AA of the slit 11A is thinner than the remaining thickness of the second portion 11AB of the slit 11A.
[0033] The portion of the slit 11A located on the adhesive tape 13 does not penetrate the carrier sheet 11. This prevents the substrate 13A from being cut along with the carrier sheet during the production of the skin adhesive sheet 10, and also prevents foreign matter from reaching the substrate through the slit 11A before the skin adhesive sheet 10 is used.
[0034] When the skin adhesive sheet 10 satisfies condition 2-3, the residual thickness at the first portion 11AA may be 0, while the residual thickness at the second portion 11AB may be greater than 0. Alternatively, when the skin adhesive sheet 10 satisfies condition 2-3, both the residual thickness at the first portion 11AA and the residual thickness at the second portion 11AB may be smaller than the thickness T. From the viewpoint of facilitating tearing of the carrier sheet 11 starting from the slit 11A, it is preferable that the residual thickness at the first portion 11AA is 0.
[0035] Thus, in both the first and second configurations of the skin adhesive sheet 10, the carrier sheet 11 can be easily peeled from the substrate 13A starting from the slit 11A. Note that if the substrate 13A or the adhesive layer 13B contains an active ingredient for the skin, or if the skin adhesive sheet 10 is stored in an environment that satisfies at least one of high temperature and high humidity, the adhesive strength between the substrate 13A and the carrier sheet 11 may be further increased. According to the skin adhesive sheet 10 of the present disclosure, even if the adhesive strength is further increased, it is possible to easily peel the carrier sheet 11 from the substrate 13A.
[0036] It is also possible to combine the first and second configurations, i.e., the skin adhesive sheet satisfies conditions 1-1 and 2-1, and the slit 11A satisfies both conditions 1-2 and 2-2.
[0037] [Modifications] As shown in Figs. 4 to 14, the first and second configurations of the skin adhesive sheet 10 described above can be modified as follows.
[0038] The skin adhesive sheet 10 shown in Figures 4 to 9 has a different outer shape than the skin adhesive sheet 10 described with reference to Figures 1 to 3. Furthermore, the skin adhesive sheet 10 shown in Figure 9 has a different number of first regions 11R1 than the skin adhesive sheet 10 described with reference to Figures 1 to 3.
[0039] In the first modified example shown in Fig. 4, the outer shape of the carrier sheet 11 is an octagon. The outer shape of the carrier sheet 11 is also a rectangular shape with each corner cut off. The slit 11A has a length that covers the entire length of the carrier sheet 11 in the longitudinal direction. The outer shapes of the application tape 13 and the release sheet 12 are approximately rectangular. In the application tape 13 and the release sheet 12, two adjacent corners in the short direction of the rectangle are cut off.
[0040] In the second modified example shown in Fig. 5, the outer shape of the carrier sheet 11 is hexagonal. The outer shape of the carrier sheet 11 is also a rectangular shape with two adjacent corners in the short side direction cut off. The slit 11A has a length that covers the entire length of the carrier sheet 11 in the long side direction. The outer shapes of the application tape 13 and the release sheet 12 are hexagonal. The outer shapes of the application tape 13 and the release sheet 12 are also a rectangular shape with two adjacent corners in the short side direction cut off.
[0041] In the third modified example shown in Figure 6, the outer shape of the carrier sheet 11 is circular. The slit 11A passes through the center of the carrier sheet 11 and has a length equal to the diameter of the carrier sheet 11. The outer shapes of the application tape 13 and the release sheet 12 are defined by a major arc concentric with the carrier sheet 11 and a chord connecting both ends of the major arc.
[0042] In the fourth modified example shown in Figure 7, the outer shape of the carrier sheet 11 is composed of a first elliptical arc and a second elliptical arc. The major axis of the second elliptical arc is longer than the major axis of the first elliptical arc. The first elliptical arc and the second elliptical arc are major arcs. The cut 11A has a length that spans the entire first region 11R1 and the second region 11R2. The outer shapes of the application tape 13 and the release sheet 12 are elliptical. The outer shapes of the application tape 13 and the release sheet 12 are concentric with the second elliptical arc. The lengths of the minor axis and the major axis of the outer shapes of the application tape 13 and the release sheet 12 are the same as those of the second elliptical arc. The first region 11R1 is surrounded by the first elliptical arc. The second region 11R2 is surrounded by the second elliptical arc.
[0043] In the fifth modified example shown in FIG. 8 , the carrier sheet 11 has a generally circular outer shape. The outer shape of the carrier sheet 11 also has a generally teardrop-like shape extending along the longitudinal direction. A first region 11R1 and a second region 11R2 are aligned longitudinally. The first region 11R1 has a groove 11R1G recessed toward the second region 11R2 at a position facing the boundary 11B between the first region 11R1 and the second region 11R2 in the longitudinal direction. The slit 11A has an end in the valley of the groove 11R1G and extends the entire length along the longitudinal direction. The first region 11R1 is divided by the slit 11A into a first gripping portion R1N1 and a second gripping portion R1N2. The outer shape of the adhesive tape 13 and the outer shape of the release sheet 12 are defined by an approximately arc-shaped line segment included in the outer shape of the carrier sheet 11 and a straight line segment connecting both ends of the arc-shaped line segment and extending along the short direction.
[0044] According to the fifth modified example of the skin adhesive sheet 10, a user of the skin adhesive sheet 10 can tear the carrier sheet 11 along the cut 11A by pinching the first gripping portion R1N1 and the second gripping portion R1N2 that sandwich the groove portion 11R1G, and then pulling the first gripping portion R1N1 and the second gripping portion R1N2 away from each other. This makes the carrier sheet 11 easier to tear.
[0045] In the sixth modified example shown in FIG. 9 , the carrier sheet 11 has an octagonal outer shape, similar to the first modified example of the skin adhesive sheet 10. The outer shape of the carrier sheet 11 is a rectangle with each corner cut off. The slit 11A extends the entire length of the carrier sheet 11 in the longitudinal direction. Meanwhile, the outer shapes of the adhesive tape 13 and the release sheet 12 are rectangular. This prevents both ends of the carrier sheet 11 from overlapping with the adhesive tape 13 in the longitudinal direction of the skin adhesive sheet 10. That is, the carrier sheet 11 has two first regions 11R1 and one second region 11R2. In the longitudinal direction of the carrier sheet 11, the second region 11R2 is sandwiched between the two first regions 11R1. Because the second region 11R2 is sandwiched between the two first regions 11R1, the carrier sheet 11 can be easily torn along the slit 11A from both sides in the longitudinal direction.
[0046] The skin adhesive sheet 10 shown in Figures 10 to 14 differs from the skin adhesive sheet 10 described with reference to Figures 1 to 3 in that the carrier sheet 11 has a different number of slits 11A. The carrier sheet 11 of the skin adhesive sheet 10 shown in Figures 10 to 14 has two slits 11A. The number of slits 11A provided on the carrier sheet 11 may be one or more, and may be two as in the skin adhesive sheet 10 shown in Figures 10 to 14, or may be three or more.
[0047] 10 to 13, the carrier sheet 11 has a first cut 11A1 and a second cut 11A2. The first cut 11A1 has a configuration equivalent to the cut 11A of the first or second configuration described above. The second cut 11A2, like the first cut 11A1, extends from a portion of the outer edge 11E of the carrier sheet 11 that is included in the first region 11R1 toward the adhesive tape 13, beyond the boundary 11B between the first region 11R1 and the second region 11R2, when viewed from a viewpoint opposite to the plane on which the carrier sheet 11 extends. The depth D2 of the second cut 11A2, like the depth D1 of the first cut 11A1, satisfies the following formula when the thickness of the carrier sheet 11 is T: 1 / 4T≦D2≦T
[0048] In the second cut 11A2, a remaining thickness TR2, which is the thickness of the remaining portion of the carrier sheet 11 connected to the second cut 11A2 in the thickness direction, may satisfy the following formula when the thickness of the carrier sheet 11 is T: 0≦TR2≦3 / 4T
[0049] When viewed from a viewpoint opposite to the plane on which the carrier sheet 11 extends, the first slit 11A1 and the second slit 11A2 are spaced apart along a first direction, and each slit 11A1, 11A2 extends along a second direction intersecting the first direction. The carrier sheet 11 is sandwiched between the first slit 11A1 and the second slit 11A2 and has a gripping portion 11N extending along the second direction.
[0050] Since the user of the skin adhesive sheet 10 can grip the gripping portion 11N of the carrier sheet 11, it is easy to apply an external force to the carrier sheet 11 to peel it off from the base material 13A. The structure of each modified example will be described in more detail below with reference to the drawings. In each modified example shown in Figures 10 to 13, the outer shape of the carrier sheet 11 is rectangular.
[0051] In the seventh modified example shown in Fig. 10, both the first slit 11A1 and the second slit 11A2 have a length that spans the entire width of the skin adhesive sheet 10. The first slit 11A1 and the second slit 11A2 are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the skin adhesive sheet 10. The longitudinal direction is an example of a first direction. The first slit 11A1 is parallel to the second slit 11A2. The first slit 11A1 and the second slit 11A2 define a rectangular gripping portion 11N that extends along the width direction. The width direction is an example of a second direction.
[0052] In the eighth modified example shown in Figure 11, each of the slits 11A1 and 11A2 extends in a direction intersecting the short-side direction. The first slit 11A1 extends in the short-side direction and is symmetrical to the second slit 11A2 with respect to an axis of symmetry passing through the center of the carrier sheet 11 in the longitudinal direction. The distance between the first slit 11A1 and the second slit 11A2 in the longitudinal direction gradually increases from the base end 11A1P of the first slit 11A1 to the tip 11A1D of the second slit 11A2. Therefore, the distance between the base end 11A1P of the first slit 11A1 and the base end 11A2P of the second slit 11A2 is shortest, and the distance between the tip 11A1D of the first slit 11A1 and the tip 11A2D of the second slit 11A2 is longest. The knob portion 11N defined by the first slit 11A1 and the second slit 11A2 has a trapezoidal shape.
[0053] In the ninth modified example shown in Figure 12, the first slit 11A1 is linear in the short direction from the distal end 11A1D to the proximal end 11A1P, and curves toward the second slit 11A2 midway from the distal end 11A1D to the proximal end 11A1P. The second slit 11A2 is linear in the short direction from the distal end 11A2D to the proximal end 11A2P, and curves toward the first slit 11A1 midway from the distal end 11A2D to the proximal end 11A2P. The proximal end 11A2P of the second slit 11A2 is continuous with the proximal end 11A1P of the first slit 11A1 at the outer edge 11E of the carrier sheet 11. The distal ends 11A1D and 11A2D of the slits 11A1 and 11A2 are located within the second region 11R2.
[0054] The first cut 11A1 extends along the short-side direction and is symmetrical to the second cut 11A2 with respect to an axis of symmetry passing through the center of the carrier sheet 11 in the long-side direction. The shape formed by the first cut 11A1 and the second cut 11A2 is U-shaped. The distance between the first cut 11A1 and the second cut 11A2 gradually increases and then becomes constant in the direction from the base end 11A1P of the first cut 11A1 toward the tip end 11A1D.
[0055] In the tenth modified example shown in Figure 13, each slit 11A1, 11A2 extends along the short-side direction. Tips 11A1D, 11A2D of each slit 11A1, 11A2 are located within the second region 11R2. The gripping portion 11N is composed of a portion sandwiched between the first slit 11A1 and the second slit 11A2 and a portion located outside each slit 11A1, 11A2. In other words, the gripping portion 11N includes a portion that protrudes beyond the base ends 11A1P, 11A2P toward the side opposite the tips 11A1D, 11A2D.
[0056] In each of the modified examples, from the viewpoint of making gripping portion 11N easier to grip, it is preferable that the depths D1 and D2 of each of slits 11A1 and 11A2 at the portions located in first region 11R1 are equal to the thickness T of carrier sheet 11. In other words, it is preferable that the remaining thicknesses TR1 and TR2 of each of slits 11A1 and 11A2 are 0.
[0057] 14 shows an eleventh modification of the skin adhesive sheet 10, in which the carrier sheet 11 has a first cut 11A1 and a second cut 11A2. The first cut 11A1 has a configuration equivalent to the cut 11A in the first or second configuration described above. The second cut 11A2, like the first cut 11A1, extends from a portion of the outer edge 11E of the carrier sheet 11 that is included in the first region 11R1 toward the adhesive tape 13, beyond the boundary 11B between the first region 11R1 and the second region 11R2, when viewed from a viewpoint opposite to the plane in which the carrier sheet 11 extends.
[0058] Similarly to the depth D1 of the first cut 11A1, the depth D2 of the second cut 11A2 satisfies the following formula when the thickness of the carrier sheet 11 is T. Of the cuts 11A1 and 11A2, the base ends 11A1P and 11A2P located on the outer edge 11E of the carrier sheet 11 face each other with the adhesive tape therebetween. 1 / 4T≦D2≦T
[0059] In the second cut 11A2, a remaining thickness TR2, which is the thickness of the remaining portion of the carrier sheet 11 connected to the second cut 11A2 in the thickness direction, may satisfy the following formula when the thickness of the carrier sheet 11 is T: 0≦TR2≦3 / 4T
[0060] According to the skin adhesive sheet 10, the carrier sheet 11 can be peeled off from the base material 13A along the slits 11A from both sides of the adhesive tape 13, so that the carrier sheet 11 can be easily peeled off.
[0061] In the eleventh modified example shown in Figure 14, the carrier sheet 11 has a rectangular outer shape. In the carrier sheet 11, the first region 11R1 surrounds the second region 11R2. The second region 11R2 has a rectangular shape, and the first region 11R1 has a frame shape surrounding the second region 11R2. Each of the slits 11A1 and 11A2 extends along the longitudinal direction. The base ends 11A1P and 11A1P of the slits 11A1 and 11A2 are located on the same straight line extending along the longitudinal direction. The tip ends 11A1D and 11A2D of the slits 11A1 and 11A2 are located within the second region 11R2. In the longitudinal direction, the tip end 11A1D of the first slit 11A1 is spaced apart from the tip end 11A2D of the second slit 11A2.
[0062] The outer shape of each of the first to sixth modified examples may be combined with the slits 11A1 and 11A2 of each of the seventh to tenth modified examples. Also, the outer shape of each of the first to sixth modified examples may be combined with the regions 11R1 and 11R2 and the slits 11A1 and 11A2 of the eleventh modified example.
[0063] [Configuration of Each Layer] The configuration of each layer of the skin adhesive sheet will be described below. The carrier sheet 11 is made of synthetic resin. The carrier sheet 11 is made of, for example, a base sheet and a release layer. The release layer is laminated on the base sheet. When the carrier sheet 11 is made of a base sheet and a release layer, the release layer is in contact with the base 13A of the adhesive tape 13. The base sheet may be made of, for example, polypropylene (PP) resin, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin, or the like. The base sheet may be any of a uniaxially oriented sheet, a biaxially oriented sheet, and a non-oriented sheet. The release layer may be made of, for example, a silicone resin.
[0064] The carrier sheet 11 may be composed of only the above-mentioned base sheet. In this case, the contact surface of the base sheet that comes into contact with the base material 13A may be processed to facilitate peeling of the base material 13A from the base sheet. The processing of the contact surface of the base material sheet may be, for example, embossing. The thickness of the carrier sheet 11 may be 10 μm or more and 400 μm or less, as described above.
[0065] The release sheet 12 is configured so that the peel strength between the release sheet 12 and the adhesive layer 13B is smaller than the peel strength between the carrier sheet 11 and the substrate 13A. The release sheet 12 is made of a synthetic resin. The release sheet 12 is made of, for example, a substrate sheet and a release layer. The release layer is laminated on the substrate sheet. When the release sheet 12 includes a substrate sheet and a release layer, the release layer is in contact with the adhesive layer 13B of the adhesive tape 13. The substrate sheet may be made of, for example, a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin. The substrate sheet may be any of a uniaxially oriented sheet, a biaxially oriented sheet, and a non-oriented sheet. The release layer may be made of, for example, a silicone resin.
[0066] The release sheet 12 may be composed of only the above-mentioned base sheet. In this case, the contact surface of the base sheet that comes into contact with the adhesive layer 13B may be processed to facilitate peeling of the adhesive layer 13B from the base sheet. The processing of the contact surface of the base sheet may be, for example, embossing. The thickness of the release sheet 12 may be, for example, 12 μm or more and 350 μm or less.
[0067] The substrate 13A is made of a synthetic resin. The synthetic resin used to form the substrate 13A may be, for example, a polyurethane resin. This makes it possible to obtain a substrate 13A with high adhesive suitability. The thickness of the substrate 13A may be, for example, 5 μm or more and 30 μm or less. The substrate 13A is made of a polyurethane resin and is thin, so it stretches well even when a small external force is applied to the substrate 13A to stretch it. Therefore, the substrate 13A has high conformability to the shape of the object to which the adhesive tape 13 is attached, and can have high adhesion to the object.
[0068] On the other hand, the base material 13A, which has high conformability to the shape of the object to be attached, also has high conformability to the carrier sheet 11 covering the base material 13A. Therefore, when a force is applied to the carrier sheet 11 to peel the carrier sheet 11 from the base material 13A, the base material 13A easily deforms to follow the deformation of the carrier sheet 11.
[0069] The tensile elongation at break of the substrate 13A may be, for example, 130% or more. The tensile elongation at break can be determined in accordance with JIS K 7161-1:2014 (ISO 527-1) "Plastics - Determination of tensile properties - Part 1: General rules" and JIS K 7127:1999 (ISO 527-3) "Plastics - Test methods for tensile properties - Part 3: Test conditions for films and sheets." If the object to be measured does not have a yield point, the tensile breaking strain is measured; if it has a yield point, the nominal tensile breaking strain is measured, and the tensile breaking elongation can be determined using these measured values.
[0070] The tensile strength at 100% elongation of the substrate 13A may be, for example, 4 N / cm or less. The tensile strength at 100% elongation is the value obtained by dividing the magnitude of the force measured when the strain reaches a specified value (100%), as defined in JIS K 7161-1:2014 (ISO 527-1) "Plastics - Determination of tensile properties - Part 1: General rules," by the width of the test piece. The tensile strength at 100% elongation (T) (N / cm) can be calculated using the following formula:
[0071] T = F / W In the above formula, F is the magnitude of the measured force (N), and W is the width of the test piece (cm).
[0072] The base material 13A may be formed from a synthetic resin other than polyurethane resin, such as polyvinylidene fluoride resin, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, polypropylene resin, and polyethylene terephthalate resin.
[0073] The adhesive layer 13B is formed of a synthetic resin, similar to the base material 13A. The synthetic resin for forming the adhesive layer 13B may be, for example, a polyurethane resin. The thickness of the adhesive layer 13B may be, for example, 5 μm or more and 25 μm or less.
[0074] At least one of the substrate 13A and the adhesive layer 13B may contain an active ingredient for the skin. That is, only the substrate 13A may contain the active ingredient, only the adhesive layer 13B may contain the active ingredient, or both the substrate 13A and the adhesive layer 13B may contain the active ingredient. The active ingredient may be, for example, a cosmetic ingredient, a beauty ingredient, a pharmaceutical ingredient, or the like.
[0075] [Examples] Examples and comparative examples will be described with reference to Figure 15. [Example 1] A biaxially oriented polypropylene (OPP) sheet (Futamura Chemical Co., Ltd., FOR-MP, thickness 40 μm) with one matte surface of a pair of opposing surfaces was prepared as a carrier sheet. An aqueous polyurethane containing an ether-based polyol (Mitsui Chemicals, Inc., Takelac WS-6021) (Takelac is a registered trademark) was then coated on the matte surface of the OPP film, and the aqueous polyurethane was dried to form a precursor layer. The precursor layer was then aged at room temperature to obtain a substrate with a thickness of 15 μm.
[0076] A release film (Cerapeel WZ, manufactured by Toray Advanced Film Co., Ltd., thickness 75 μm) (Cerapeel is a registered trademark) consisting of a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) sheet and a release layer formed from a silicone resin was prepared as a release sheet. Next, a urethane adhesive (SP-205, manufactured by Toyochem Co., Ltd.) as a main component and a curing agent (T-501B, manufactured by Toyochem Co., Ltd.) were prepared. After adding the curing agent to the main component, the main component to which the curing agent had been added was stirred to obtain a coating liquid for forming an adhesive layer. The coating liquid was applied to the release film, and then the coating was dried to obtain an adhesive layer having a thickness of 15 μm.
[0077] Then, by bonding the substrate and the adhesive layer together, a laminate was obtained in which the OPP sheet, adhesive tape, and release sheet were laminated in the order described above. Next, the laminate was subjected to half-cutting processing so as to penetrate only the release film and adhesive tape and cut out a rectangular area. Subsequently, the release film and adhesive tape were removed from the OPP sheet in areas other than the half-cut areas. This resulted in a release sheet and adhesive tape measuring 50 mm in the longitudinal direction and 10 mm in the transverse direction, and an OPP sheet measuring 50 mm in the longitudinal direction and 20 mm in the transverse direction.
[0078] In the OPP sheet, two slits were made along the short side of one of the 50 mm longitudinal edges, from the first edge that did not overlap the adhesive tape to the second edge that did overlap the adhesive tape. This resulted in two linear slits, each 20 mm long. The two slits had a depth of 1 / 4T, the thickness T of the OPP sheet, and the distance between the slits in the longitudinal direction was set to 4 mm. This produced the skin patch sheet of Example 1.
[0079] [Comparative Example 1] The skin patch sheet of Comparative Example 1 was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1, except that no cuts were made and the skin patch sheet cut out from the laminate was left to stand in an environment of 60°C and a relative humidity of 90% for 5 days.
[0080] Comparative Example 2 A skin patch sheet of Comparative Example 2 was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the depth of the cuts in Example 1 was changed to 1 / 5T, and the laminate after the cuts were formed was allowed to stand in an environment of 60°C and a relative humidity of 90% for 5 days.
[0081] [Example 2] A skin patch sheet of Example 2 was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the laminate after forming the slits in Example 1 was left to stand for 5 days in an environment at 60°C and a relative humidity of 90%.
[0082] [Example 3] The skin patch sheet of Example 3 was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the depth of the cuts in Example 1 was changed to 9 / 10T, and the laminate after the cuts were formed was allowed to stand in an environment of 60°C and a relative humidity of 90% for 5 days.
[0083] [Example 4] The skin patch sheet of Example 4 was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1, except that concentrated glycerin (Kanto Chemical Co., Ltd., 17029-08, quasi-drug raw material standard) was mixed into the coating liquid for forming the adhesive layer in an amount of 40% by weight relative to the solid content of the main ingredient.
[0084] [Example 5] The skin patch sheet of Example 5 was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the laminate after forming the slits in Example 1 was left to stand in an environment of 60°C and a relative humidity of 90% for 10 days.
[0085] [Comparative Example 3] A skin patch sheet of Comparative Example 3 was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the laminate after forming the slits in Example 1 was left to stand in an environment of 60°C and a relative humidity of 90% for 15 days.
[0086] [Evaluation Method] [Trouser Tear Strength] The tear strength of the carrier sheet was measured according to JIS K 7128-1 (1998) "Test Method for Tear Strength of Plastic Films and Sheets, Part 1: Trouser Tear Method." Test pieces having a width of 50 mm and a length of 150 mm were prepared from the carrier sheets of each Example and Comparative Example. Next, a slit was formed in the test piece at one end in the longitudinal direction, starting from the center in the width direction and extending along the length, thereby forming a first piece portion and a second piece portion separated by the slit. The length of the slit was set to 75 mm.
[0087] [180° Peel Strength] The peel strength of the substrate to the carrier sheet was measured according to the method specified in JIS Z 0237:2009, "Test Methods for Adhesive Tapes and Sheets." A universal testing machine (Shimadzu Corporation, Autograph AGS-X, Load Cell 5kN) was used to measure the peel strength. A test piece having a width of 25 mm was cut from the skin patch sheet of each Example and Comparative Example. After fixing the substrate to the universal testing machine, the strength when the carrier sheet was peeled at 180° from the substrate was calculated. The universal testing machine was then used to pull the first and second pieces in opposite directions, and the tear strength (N / mm) was measured when the tear length reached 50 mm.
[0088] [Tearability] For each of the skin patch sheets of each Example and Comparative Example, the carrier sheet was torn from the portion of each cut that was located in the first region of the carrier sheet. That is, the skin patch sheets of each Example and Comparative Example were evaluated for peeling of the carrier sheet. The tearability at this time was evaluated according to the following standards. The tearability of each of the skin patch sheets of each Example and Comparative Example was evaluated five times.
[0089] ◯: The carrier sheet could be torn across the entire width direction starting from the cut, allowing the carrier sheet to be smoothly peeled off from the substrate. △: The carrier sheet could be torn across the entire width direction starting from the cut, but there was a lot of resistance when tearing the carrier sheet.
[0090] [Evaluation Results] The evaluation results of the trouser tear strength, 180° peel strength, and tearability are shown in FIG.
[0091] As shown in FIG. 15, the trouser tear strength was found to be 4.3 N / mm for the carrier sheets provided in the skin patch sheets of Examples 1 to 5 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3.
[0092] The 180° peel strength was found to be 85.1 mN / 25 mm in Example 1, and 592.0 mN / 25 mm in Examples 2, 3, Comparative Examples 1, and 2. The 180° peel strength was found to be 621.0 mN / 25 mm in Example 4, 1575.2 mN / 25 mm in Example 5, and 2123.0 mN / 25 mm in Comparative Example 3.
[0093] The tearability was evaluated as ○ in Examples 1 to 5 and △ in Comparative Examples 1 to 3. Specifically, in Comparative Examples 1 and 2, the depth of each cut was shallow, so an external force was required to tear the remaining portion of the carrier sheet, resulting in low tearability of the carrier sheet. In Comparative Example 3, the adhesive strength between the carrier sheet and the substrate was high, so when an external force was applied to the carrier sheet to peel it from the substrate, the adhesive tape rose up together with the carrier sheet, resulting in low tearability of the carrier sheet.
[0094] Furthermore, among Examples 1, 2, and 4, it was found that Example 1, which had the lowest 180° peel strength, had the smallest resistance when the carrier sheet was torn, and Example 4, which had the highest 180° peel strength, had the largest resistance when the carrier sheet was torn. Furthermore, it was found that in Examples 2, 3, Comparative Examples 1, and 2, the deeper the cut, the smaller the resistance when the carrier sheet was torn.
[0095] As described above, one embodiment of the skin adhesive sheet can achieve the following effects: (1) In a carrier sheet 11 having a thickness of 10 μm or more and 400 μm or less, the 180° peel strength is 2 N / 25 mm or less, and the depth of the slit 11A extending from outside the adhesive tape 13 to inside the adhesive tape 13 is in the range of ¼ T or more and T or less. Therefore, the carrier sheet 11 can be easily peeled from the substrate 13A starting from the slit 11A.
[0096] (2) In a carrier sheet 11 having a trouser tear strength of 10 N / mm or less, the 180° peel strength is 2 N / mm or less, and the remaining thickness TR1 of the carrier sheet 11 at the slit 11A extending from the outside of the application tape 13 to the inside of the application tape 13 is within the range of 0 to 3 / 4 T. Therefore, the carrier sheet 11 can be easily peeled from the substrate 13A starting from the slit 11A.
[0097] (3) The portion of the slit 11A located on the adhesive tape 13 does not have to penetrate the carrier sheet 11. In this case, the substrate is prevented from being cut along with the carrier sheet during the production of the skin adhesive sheet 10, and foreign matter is prevented from reaching the substrate through the slit 11A before the skin adhesive sheet is used.
[0098] (4) When the trouser tear strength is 10 N / mm or less, it is possible to improve the tearability of the carrier sheet 11. Furthermore, during the production of the skin adhesive sheet 10, the substrate 13A is prevented from being cut along with the carrier sheet 11, and foreign matter is prevented from reaching the substrate 13A through the cut 11A before the skin adhesive sheet 10 is used.
[0099] (5) When the base ends 11A1P, 11A2P of the slits 11A1, 11A2 face each other across the adhesive tape 13, the carrier sheet 11 can be peeled off from the base material 13A along the slits 11A1, 11A2 from both sides of the adhesive tape 13. This makes it easy to peel off the carrier sheet 11.
[0100] (6) When the skin adhesive sheet 10 has a gripping portion 11N defined by the slits 11A1 and 11A2, a user of the skin adhesive sheet 10 can grip the gripping portion 11N of the carrier sheet 11. Therefore, it is easy to apply an external force to the carrier sheet 11 to peel the carrier sheet 11 from the base material 13A.
