Abstract
Description
Device and method for providing price information of an item
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a device and method for providing price information on an item. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to an electronic device and method for obtaining discount information related to an item based on a user's account information and item information, determining the final price of the item based on the discount information, and providing a detailed page containing information on the final price to the user's terminal.
[0002] With the advancement of electronic technology, e-commerce has become a distinct form of shopping. Customers can purchase items online without having to visit a physical shopping mall or market, and items purchased online are delivered to the customer's requested delivery address.
[0003] Looking at the e-commerce process, customers can browse items for sale through a computer or other Internet-connected terminal, review detailed information about items of interest, and then decide whether to purchase them.
[0004] However, when purchasing items through e-commerce, the price of the item can be more flexible than when purchasing items offline. This often leads to customers purchasing items without knowing the exact price they will actually be paying, which increases customer dissatisfaction and lowers the rate of customer service reuse.
[0005] In this regard, reference may be made to prior literature such as KR101578147B1 and KR101664034B1.
[0006] The problem to be solved by the present embodiment is to provide an electronic device and a method thereof, which obtain a request for a detailed page of an item, obtain discount information related to the item based on the account information of a user who will be provided with the detailed page and the information of the item, determine the final price of the item based on the discount information, and provide the detailed page of the item including the information of the final price to the user's terminal, in order to solve the above-described problem.
[0007] The technical tasks to be achieved by this embodiment are not limited to the technical tasks described above, and other technical tasks can be inferred from the following embodiments.

[0009] According to one embodiment, the step of obtaining the discount information may include the step of obtaining discount benefit information applicable when purchasing the item according to a specified option; and the step of determining a discount benefit that matches the user's account information among one or more discount benefits included in the discount benefit information.
[0010] According to one embodiment, if multiple discount benefits among one or more discount benefits included in the discount benefit information match the user's account information, the step of obtaining the discount information may further include the step of determining a discount amount when applying the discount benefit to the item for each of the multiple discount benefits; and the step of confirming the maximum discount amount among the multiple discount benefits.
[0011] According to one embodiment, the step of obtaining the discount benefit information may include the step of checking information on items already included in the shopping cart; and the step of obtaining discount benefit information applicable when purchasing the items already included in the shopping cart together with the items purchased according to the specified options.
[0012] According to one embodiment, the step of determining a discount benefit matching the user's account information may include the step of checking whether the user's account is an account subscribed to a membership; and the step of checking a discount benefit provided to an account subscribed to the membership among the one or more discount benefits.
[0013] According to one embodiment, the step of determining a discount benefit matching the user's account information may include the step of checking information on a payment method associated with the user's account; and the step of checking a discount benefit provided when using a payment method associated with the user's account among the one or more discount benefits.
[0014] According to one embodiment, if the user's account is not an account subscribed to a membership, the step of providing the detailed page to the user's terminal may include the step of configuring the detailed page to include information suggesting subscription to the membership.
[0015] According to one embodiment, the information suggesting subscription to the membership may include information on benefits that can be enjoyed in relation to the item if the member subscribes to the membership.
[0016] According to one embodiment, if one or more price information related to the item is further included in the detailed page in addition to the final price information, the step of providing the detailed page to the user's terminal may configure the detailed page so that the final price information is more emphasized than the one or more price information.
[0017] According to one embodiment, the method for providing the information further includes a step of checking a discount benefit that can be applied in relation to the purchase of the item by purchasing more items that satisfy a set condition among discount benefits that cannot be applied when purchasing the item according to a specified option, and the step of providing the detailed page to the user's terminal may include a step of configuring the detailed page to include information on a discount benefit that can be applied in relation to the purchase of the item by satisfying the set condition.
[0018] According to one embodiment, the step of providing the detailed page to the user's terminal may include the step of configuring the detailed page to include information related to the basis for determining the final price.
[0019] According to one embodiment, when the user's terminal enters a checkout page for purchasing the item, the method for providing the information may further include the steps of: checking whether the user is in a state to purchase the item according to the final price; and, if the user is not in a state to purchase the item according to the final price, providing the user's terminal with information notifying that the final price is not applied.
[0020] An electronic device providing information according to one embodiment includes a transceiver, a memory storing instructions, and a processor, wherein the processor is connected to the transceiver and the memory, obtains a request for a detail page of an item, obtains discount information related to the item based on account information of a user who is to be provided with the detail page and information of the item, determines a final price of the item based on the discount information, and provides a detail page of the item including information of the final price to a terminal of the user.

[0044] Additionally, each block may represent a module, segment, or portion of code that contains one or more executable instructions for performing a specific logical function(s). It should also be noted that in some alternative implementation examples, the functions described in the blocks may occur out of order. For example, two blocks depicted in succession may actually be executed substantially concurrently, or the blocks may sometimes be executed in reverse order, depending on their respective functions.
[0045] Figure 1 is a schematic diagram showing a system that provides price information of an item according to one embodiment.
[0046] According to various embodiments, a system for providing price information of an item includes an electronic device (110) and a user terminal (120). According to one embodiment, the system for providing price information of an item may further include a network that supports information transmission and reception between the electronic device (110), the user terminal (120), and at least some of the external devices.
[0047] The electronic device (110) and the user's terminal (120) of the system providing price information on items may include a transceiver, memory, and a processor. Furthermore, each of the electronic device (110) and the user's terminal (120) represents a unit that processes at least one function or operation, which may be implemented by hardware, software, or a combination of hardware and software. Throughout the embodiments, the electronic device (110) and the user's terminal (120) are referred to as separate devices and servers, respectively, but this may be a logically divided structure, and may be implemented by separate functions within a single device or server.
[0048] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (110) and the user's terminal (120) may include a plurality of computer systems or computer software implemented as network servers. For example, at least some of the electronic device (110) and the user's terminal (120) may refer to a computer system and computer software that are connected to a lower-level device that can communicate with other network servers through a computer network such as an intranet or the Internet, receive a task execution request, perform the task in response, and provide the execution result. In addition, at least some of the electronic device (110) and the user's terminal (120) may be understood as a broad concept that includes a series of application programs that can operate on a network server and various databases built within it. For example, at least some of the electronic device (110) and the user's terminal (120) may be implemented using a network server program that is provided in various ways according to an operating system such as DOS, Windows, Linux, UNIX, or MacOS.
[0049] Meanwhile, for the convenience of explanation, each operating entity is referred to as an electronic device (110) and a user's terminal (120), but these should be understood as comprehensive devices that correspond to various types of devices such as computer devices and mobile communication terminals, include various types of devices, or can be included in various types of devices.
[0050] The electronic device (110) is a device that obtains and provides various information. The electronic device (110) can perform various tasks for a customer (hereinafter referred to as a "user") to purchase an item. Specifically, the electronic device (110) obtains a request for an item detail page, obtains discount information related to the item based on the account information of the user who will be provided with the detail page and the item information, determines the final price of the item based on the discount information, and provides the item detail page including the final price information to the user's terminal (120). In this regard, the request for the item detail page may include, but is not limited to, a user request received from the user's terminal (120). For example, the user may directly input request information into the electronic device (110). Various embodiments may exist with respect to the operation of obtaining a request for an item detail page. In addition, there may be various embodiments related to the operation of obtaining discount information, such as the electronic device (110) according to one embodiment receiving discount benefit information from a separate device (e.g., server (210) of FIG. 2) and determining discount information based on the received discount benefit information.
[0051] Meanwhile, if it is determined not to initiate a delivery-related task, the electronic device (110) may transmit a request to postpone the preparation of the item corresponding to the first delivery order information to the store's device (130).
[0052] A user may correspond to a subject purchasing an item being sold through a terminal connected to the Internet. The user's terminal (120) may be a device operated and managed by the user. The user's terminal (120) may receive user input from the user or information from the electronic device (110) and perform corresponding operations. For example, the user's terminal (120) may obtain an item detail page from the electronic device (110) and provide it to the user (e.g., display it on the screen). Alternatively, the user's terminal (120) may obtain information that serves as the basis for constructing an item detail page from the electronic device (110), construct the detail page based on the information, and provide the detail page to the user. In addition, the user's terminal (120) may obtain a request for an item detail page from the user and transmit it to the electronic device (110).
[0053] More detailed information regarding the electronic device (110) and the user's terminal (120) will be described later in FIGS. 2 to 7, etc.
[0054] The operations associated with a series of information provision methods according to various embodiments may be implemented by a single physical device, or may be implemented by organically combining multiple physical devices. For example, some of the components included in a system for providing price information on items may be implemented by a single physical device, while others may be implemented by other physical devices. For example, one physical device may be implemented as part of an electronic device (110), while the other physical device may be implemented as part of a user's terminal (120) or another external device.
[0055] In some cases, each component included in the system for providing price information on an item may be distributed and placed on different physical devices, and the distributed components may be organically combined to perform the functions and operations of the system for providing price information on an item. For example, the electronic device (110) of the present specification may include at least one sub-device, and some of the operations described as being performed by the electronic device (110) may be performed by the first sub-unit, and other some of the operations may be performed by the second sub-unit.
[0056] FIG. 2 is a flowchart illustrating the operation of each device in a system that provides price information of an item according to an embodiment.
[0057] Referring to FIG. 2, an electronic device (110) according to one embodiment obtains a request for an item detail page (201). As described above, the request for an item detail page may include, but is not limited to, a user request received from a user terminal (120).
[0058] The electronic device (110) obtains discount information related to an item based on the account information of the user who will be provided with the detailed page and the item information (203). According to one embodiment, the electronic device (110) may obtain discount benefit information (202) and further obtain discount information based on the obtained discount benefit information. In this regard, the discount benefit information may be received from a separate device such as the server (210), but is not limited thereto. For example, the electronic device (110) may load discount benefit information previously stored in the memory of the electronic device (110), or the electronic device (110) may calculate discount benefit information based on previously stored condition information, and various other embodiments may exist. Meanwhile, the server (210) may include a device for performing roles such as storing, processing, and providing various information for providing services, but the scope of the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0059] More specifically, regarding the acquisition of discount information, an electronic device (110) according to an embodiment may acquire applicable discount benefit information when purchasing an item according to a designated option, and determine a discount benefit that matches the user's account information among one or more discount benefits included in the discount benefit information. In this regard, the "designated option" may be an option requested by the user or an option set by default for each item. For example, if a user requests to purchase three units of Item A, the "designated option" may correspond to the option to purchase three units of Item A. If the user does not explicitly request a purchase option, the "designated option" may correspond to the default option to purchase one unit of Item A.
[0060] In many embodiments, when a user is first presented with a detail page for a specific item, the "designated option" corresponds to the default option, and if the user inputs a change to a purchase option on the detail page, the "designated option" is understood to be changed to the purchase option requested by the user. However, the scope of the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, if a user interface for setting item options is further provided on a search results page for multiple items (prior to providing the detail page), and the user sets the item options based on the provided user interface, then even when the detail page is first presented to the user's terminal (120), the "designated option" may correspond to the purchase option set by the user based on the user interface.
[0061] If multiple discount benefits among one or more discount benefits included in discount benefit information match the user's account information, the electronic device (110) according to one embodiment may determine the discount amount when applying the discount benefit to an item for each of the multiple discount benefits and confirm the maximum discount amount among the multiple discount benefits. In this case, the electronic device (110) may determine the discount benefit corresponding to the maximum discount amount as the discount information related to the item. However, the scope of the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, if there is a first discount benefit with the maximum discount amount and a second discount benefit with a smaller discount amount but including other benefits (e.g., a free return benefit), the electronic device (110) may provide the user with a choice by providing a detailed page that includes both a purchase option applying the first discount benefit and a purchase option applying the second discount benefit. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the discount benefit that the user is likely to prefer by determining the user's purchasing pattern (e.g., whether the user frequently returns items) and provide a detailed page based on the result of the determination. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may estimate the numerical value of other benefits included in the second discount benefit, and determine which detailed page to provide to the user based on the estimation result.
[0062] In addition, there may be various embodiments within the scope of the present disclosure, such as providing a detail page that includes both a purchase option with the first discount benefit and a purchase option with the second discount benefit, even when there is a first discount benefit with the maximum discount amount and a second discount benefit with a smaller discount amount but a benefit when the user uses a payment method he or she prefers, thereby providing the user with a choice.
[0063] More specifically, with respect to the operation of determining a discount benefit matching the user's account information, the electronic device (110) according to one embodiment may check whether one or more pieces of information included in the user's account information satisfies the application conditions of one or more discount benefits. According to one embodiment, the electronic device (110) may check whether the user's account is an account subscribed to a membership, and may check a discount benefit provided to an account subscribed to the membership among one or more discount benefits, thereby checking whether the user's membership subscription satisfies the application conditions of one or more discount benefits. According to one embodiment, the electronic device (110) may check information on a payment method associated with the user's account, and may check a discount benefit provided when using the payment method associated with the user's account among one or more discount benefits, thereby checking whether the payment method associated with the user's account satisfies the application conditions of one or more discount benefits.
[0064] A more detailed example of the operation of determining a discount benefit matching the user's account information is described later in FIG. 4.
[0065] In relation to the operation of obtaining discount information, according to one embodiment, the electronic device (110) may check information on items already included in the shopping cart, and may obtain discount benefit information applicable when purchasing items already included in the shopping cart together with items purchased according to specified options. A more detailed example related to this will be described later in FIG. 6.
[0066] Based on the discount information, the electronic device (110) determines the final price of the item (204). In this context, the "final price of the item" should be understood not to refer to the universally applicable sales price for the purchase of the item, but rather to the price applicable to a specific user when purchasing the item.
[0067] The electronic device (110) provides the item's detailed page to the user's terminal (120) (205). In this regard, the item's detailed page includes information about the final price. Depending on the embodiment, the user's terminal (120) may obtain information that serves as the basis for constructing the item's detailed page from the electronic device (110), construct the detailed page based on the information, and provide it to the user. Various forms of information may be provided from the electronic device (110) to the user's terminal (120) to enable the user to receive the detailed page.
[0068] Hereinafter, for convenience of explanation, embodiments in which an electronic device (110) configures a detailed page and provides it to a user's terminal (120) are described. However, the following description may be applied to various embodiments in which a user's terminal (120) configures a detailed page based on information obtained from the electronic device (110) and provides it to a user.
[0069] In one embodiment, the detail page may include one or more additional price information related to the item in addition to the final price information. In this case, the electronic device (110) may provide the detail page so that the final price information is more prominent than other price information.
[0070] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (110) may configure a detailed page to include information related to the basis for determining the final price and provide it to the user's terminal (120). The information related to the basis for determining the final price may include discount information, as well as information explaining that the discount information was applied by satisfying a specific condition (e.g., information indicating that a membership discount was applied because the user signed up for a membership).
[0071] More detailed examples related to the detail page are described later in FIGS. 3 to 7, etc.
[0072] According to one embodiment, when a user's terminal (120) enters a checkout page for purchasing an item, the electronic device (110) can determine whether the user is in a state where the user will purchase the item based on the final price. If the user is not in a state where the user will purchase the item based on the final price, the electronic device (110) can provide information to the user's terminal (120) notifying that the final price has not been applied. For example, if the price provided on the detailed page provided to the user's terminal (120) is 12,000 won, but the amount to be paid by the user on the checkout page is 13,000 won, the electronic device (110) can provide information notifying that the final price on the detailed page has not been provided. In this regard, the notification information provided by the electronic device (110) according to one embodiment may include information explaining why the user is not provided with the final price on the detailed page.
[0073] Depending on the embodiment, there may be various embodiments with respect to the form of providing notification information, such as providing more emphasized notification information when the amount to be paid by the user is higher than the final price on the detail page rather than when it is lower than the final price on the detail page, or providing notification information only when the amount to be paid by the user on the checkout page is higher than the final price on the detail page (i.e., not providing notification information when the final price on the detail page is higher).
[0074] Meanwhile, cases where the final price on the details page and the amount the user will pay on the checkout page differ may include various cases, such as when the payment benefit expires or changes while entering the checkout page, when the applicable benefit changes depending on an item purchased together, and when the user does not use a payment method that allows for the maximum payment benefit. Relatedly, cases where the applicable benefit changes depending on an item purchased together may include cases where the discount benefit is distributed among other items purchased together, thereby reducing the discount benefit for an item associated with the details page, and cases where a higher benefit is applied to an item associated with the details page by purchasing other items together. As such, various cases may exist regarding cases where the final price on the details page and the amount the user will pay on the checkout page differ, and the scope of the present disclosure should not be limited or construed as being limited by any specific case.
[0075] Figure 3 is a drawing for exemplarily explaining a detailed page of an item according to one embodiment.
[0076] Referring to FIG. 3, a detail page of Item A according to one embodiment is illustrated. The electronic device (110) may obtain a request for the detail page of Item A and provide the detail page of Item A based on the request.
[0077] The detail page of Item A may display final price information. In one embodiment, the final price information may include price information per basic unit, and the basic unit may include, for example, unit quantity, unit capacity, unit weight, etc. Referring to drawing number 301 in the example of FIG. 3, the final price information may include the price of Item A and price per unit capacity (100 ml), such as "20,600 won (2,060 won per 100 ml")."
[0078] The detail page for item A may include information related to the basis for determining the final price. Referring to drawing number 302 in the example of FIG. 3, the detail page may include information such as "Coupon discount of 5,000 won" as the basis for determining the final price. The information related to the basis for determining the final price may include discount information, as well as information explaining that the discount was applied by satisfying a specific condition. Furthermore, the information related to the basis for determining the final price may include specific calculation information for determining the price, and various other embodiments related to the present disclosure may exist.
[0079] According to one embodiment, if there are other benefits that the user can enjoy in addition to the discount benefit that serves as the basis for determining the final price, the detail page of Item A may include information about such other benefits. Referring to drawing number 303 in the example of FIG. 3, the detail page may include information about a free shipping benefit related to the purchase of Item A. In addition, referring to drawing number 304 in the example of FIG. 3, the detail page may further include information about an instant card discount benefit (information about a discount benefit that may be additionally applied when the user pays with a card of Company XX in addition to the discount benefit applied to the price of Drawing Number 301), information about an interest-free installment benefit including phrases such as "Interest-free installment for up to 6 months," and information about point accumulation including phrases such as "Earn up to 520 won in points."
[0080] In some embodiments, the detail page of Item A may further include information on benefits that the user can enjoy if he or she satisfies certain conditions, and more detailed examples of this are described later in FIGS. 5 and 7.
[0081] According to one embodiment, the detail page of item A may include one or more price information related to the item in addition to the final price information. In this case, the electronic device (110) (or the user's terminal (110)) may configure the detail page so that the final price is more emphasized compared to one or more other price information. Referring to drawing number 305 in the example of FIG. 3, price information prior to the application of discount information for the user may be further provided, and such price information may be displayed in a smaller size than the final price information (see drawing number 301), not in bold, displayed in a less distinctive color, and positioned in a less conspicuous location, thereby being configured to be less emphasized than the final price. Furthermore, the detail page may be configured so that the customer can clearly recognize that the price information is not the final price, for example, by striking out the price information prior to the application of discount information for the user.
[0082] FIG. 4 is a diagram for exemplarily explaining a method for determining a discount benefit matching a user's account information according to one embodiment.
[0083] Referring to FIG. 4, an electronic device (110) according to an embodiment may obtain discount information by checking whether one or more pieces of information included in the user's account information satisfies the application conditions of one or more discount benefits. According to an embodiment, the electronic device (110) may check whether the user's account is an account subscribed to a membership, and check whether a discount benefit provided to an account subscribed to a membership among one or more discount benefits is provided, thereby checking whether the user's membership subscription satisfies the application conditions of one or more discount benefits. In the example of FIG. 4, account information (401) may include information indicating that the user's account is an account subscribed to a membership ("Membership Subscription: YES"), and discount benefit information (402) may include membership-only benefit information related to the purchase of an item ("10,000 won discount when purchasing item A worth 20,000 won or more (membership only)"). In the example of FIG. 4, the electronic device (110) can determine that the user's account is an account registered for membership and thus can be eligible for membership-only benefits, and thus can receive a discount of 10,000 won when purchasing item A for 20,000 won or more.
[0084] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (110) may check information on a payment method associated with the user's account, and check a discount benefit provided when using the payment method associated with the user's account among one or more discount benefits, thereby checking whether the payment method associated with the user's account satisfies the application conditions of one or more discount benefits. In the example of FIG. 4, the account information (401) may include information indicating that the XX Company card is not registered as a payment method in the user's account ("Whether XX Company card is registered: NO"), and the discount benefit information (402) may include information on additional benefits when the XX Company card is used in connection with the purchase of an item ("Get 3% instant discount when using XX card when purchasing item A"). In the example of FIG. 4, the electronic device (110) may determine that the additional benefit when using the XX Card as a payment method will not be applied because the XX Company card is not registered as a payment method in the user's account.
[0085] Meanwhile, in the example of FIG. 4, the electronic device (110) determines whether the XX Company card is registered as a payment method and obtains discount information. However, the "payment method associated with the user's account" is not necessarily limited to the payment method registered to the user's account. For example, the payment method associated with the user's account may include a payment method that the user has previously used more than a set number of times, and various other embodiments may exist.
[0086] As the electronic device (110) obtains discount information in this way, in the example of FIG. 4, a discount benefit of 10,000 won may be applied to Item A, which is priced at 25,600 won, so that the final price of Item A may be determined to be 15,600 won (see drawing number 403). In addition, as shown in drawing number 404, the detailed page may include information such as "Coupon discount of 10,000 won" as the basis for determining the final price, and, depending on the embodiment, may further provide information emphasizing that it is a membership-only benefit, such as "Membership-only coupon discount of 10,000 won."
[0087] In addition, referring to drawing number 405 in the example of FIG. 4, the detail page may further include free shipping and free returns benefits related to the purchase of Item A. If there are additional benefits provided to membership subscribers, the detail page may further include such additional benefits, and for example, the free returns benefit of drawing number 405 may correspond to a type of benefit provided to membership subscribers. In addition, referring to drawing number 406 in the example of FIG. 4, the detail page may provide card instant discount benefit information including phrases such as "Up to 3% instant card discount (XX company) - membership only" related to the purchase of Item A.
[0088] FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating an example of a method for configuring a detail page to include information proposing subscription to a membership according to one embodiment.
[0089] According to one embodiment, the item detail page may include information on additional benefits that the user can enjoy when certain conditions are met. For example, the electronic device (110) (or the user's terminal (120)) may configure the detail page to include at least one of information indicating membership benefits (e.g., information on benefits that can be enjoyed in relation to an item corresponding to the detail page when signing up for membership) and information suggesting membership subscription, if the user's account is not a membership-registered account. The information on benefits that can be enjoyed when signing up for membership may include various types of benefits, such as free shipping and free returns, in addition to price-related benefit information.
[0090] As a more specific example, referring to FIG. 5, the detailed page may include information that guides users who have not signed up for membership to a 10% instant discount benefit and information on the final price with the benefit applied (“Instant Discount Price 10%” and “KRW 23,000 (KRW 2,300 per 100ml)” of Drawing No. 501), and may further include information that guides users who have signed up for membership to a 18% discount benefit and information on the price with the benefit applied (“Membership Coupon Discount Price 18%” and “KRW 21,000 (KRW 2,100 per 100ml)” of Drawing No. 502). In addition, the detailed page may include information suggesting membership subscription (“Receive Membership Benefits for Mr. Kim Cheol-su” of Drawing No. 503), and, depending on the embodiment, may include link information that is connected to a page that guides users to detailed membership benefits or a membership subscription page when a user inputs a response.
[0091] Depending on the embodiment, the details page may include information regarding how much more benefits can be enjoyed by signing up for membership, and for example, in the example of FIG. 5, the details page may be configured to include information such as “8% additional discount when signing up for membership” or “2,000 won additional discount when signing up for membership.”
[0092] FIG. 6 is a screen for exemplarily explaining a method for determining a discount benefit by considering items already included in a shopping cart according to one embodiment.
[0093] Referring to FIG. 6, an electronic device (110) according to an embodiment may check information on items already included in a shopping cart, and obtain discount benefit information applicable when purchasing items already included in the shopping cart together with the items purchased according to designated options. In the example of FIG. 6, a shopping cart (601) may already include an item worth 25,600 won ("Item A 25,600 won"), and discount benefit information (602) may include benefit information related to the purchase of the item ("10,000 won discount when purchasing Item A worth 30,000 won or more"). In this case, when providing a detailed page for Item A priced at 25,600, the electronic device (110) may assume a case in which Item A already included in the shopping cart and Item A on the detailed page are purchased together, and in this case, Item A worth 51,200 won is purchased, so it may be confirmed that a discount benefit of 10,000 won can be received. Therefore, (although simply purchasing the items on the detailed page does not satisfy the "purchase over 30,000 won" condition), the final price can be determined as 15,600 won with a 10,000 won discount applied (see Drawing No. 603). Furthermore, as shown in Drawing No. 604, the detailed page may include information such as "Coupon discount of 10,000 won" as the basis for determining the final price, and, depending on the embodiment, may further provide information indicating the conditions for applying the benefit, such as "when purchasing items included in the shopping cart together."
[0094] In addition, referring to drawing number 605 in the example of FIG. 6, the detailed page may include information guiding benefits that can be applied when signing up for membership (“15,000 won discount coupon - membership applied. When purchasing over 50,000 won”). According to one embodiment, the electronic device (110) may include information guiding benefits that can be applied when signing up for membership in the detailed page only when the benefits that can be applied when signing up for membership are greater than the benefits that the current user can receive. According to one embodiment, the electronic device (110) may include information guiding membership-only benefits in the detailed page only when conditions other than the condition for signing up for membership are satisfied (for example, in the example of FIG. 6, if an item already included in the shopping cart is purchased together, since the purchase amount of the items is 50,000 won or more, membership-only benefits that can be applied when purchasing over 50,000 won may be provided).
[0095] Meanwhile, the "Receive Coupon" button of drawing number 605 may be an example of a function that links to a page providing detailed membership benefits or a membership sign-up page when receiving corresponding user input.
[0096] FIG. 7 is a diagram for exemplarily explaining a method of configuring a detail page to include information on discount benefits that can be applied in relation to the purchase of an item by satisfying set conditions according to an embodiment.
[0097] According to one embodiment, the item detail page may include information about additional benefits that a user may enjoy upon satisfying certain conditions. For example, the electronic device (110) (or the user's terminal (120)) may configure the detail page to include information about discount benefits that may be applied in connection with the purchase of an item upon satisfying the set conditions.
[0098] As a more specific example, referring to FIG. 7, if a user fails to meet the conditions for applying a discount benefit, the detailed page provided to the user may include information guiding the user about the discount benefit that can be enjoyed when the set conditions are met, and may also include information guiding the user about what to do to meet the conditions. For example, the phrase "2,000 won discount when purchasing a special item!" in drawing number 701 may be an example of information guiding the user about the discount benefit that can be enjoyed when the conditions are met. In addition, the "Get Coupon" button in drawing number 701 is a function that provides a list of candidate items that can be purchased together to meet the application conditions upon receiving corresponding user input, and may be an example of information guiding the user about what to do to meet the conditions.
[0099] FIG. 8 is a flowchart illustrating a method for providing price information of an item in an electronic device according to an embodiment.
[0100] Referring to FIG. 8, an electronic device (110) according to one embodiment obtains a request for an item detail page (810). The request for an item detail page may include, but is not limited to, a user request received from a user terminal (120).
[0101] The electronic device (110) obtains discount information related to an item based on the account information of the user receiving the detailed page and the item information (820). According to one embodiment, the electronic device (110) may obtain discount benefit information and further obtain discount information based on the obtained discount benefit information. More specifically, the electronic device (110) according to one embodiment may obtain discount benefit information applicable when purchasing an item according to a specified option, and determine a discount benefit that matches the user's account information among one or more discount benefits included in the discount benefit information. In this regard, the "specified option" may be an option requested by the user or an option set by default for each item.
[0102] The electronic device (110) determines the final price of the item (830) based on the discount information. "Final price of the item" should not be understood as a universally applicable sales price for the purchase of the item, but rather as a price applicable to a specific user when purchasing the item.
[0103] The electronic device (110) provides the item's detail page to the user's terminal (120) (840). The item's detail page includes information on the final price. Various embodiments related to methods for configuring the detail page have been described above.
[0104] Figure 9 is an exemplary diagram of the configuration of an electronic device according to one embodiment.
[0105] Referring to FIG. 9, the electronic device (110) includes a transceiver (910), a processor (920), and a memory (930). The electronic device (110) is connected to a user's terminal (120) and other external devices through the transceiver (910), and can exchange data.
