Description

Reflective actuator

[0001] The present invention relates to a reflective actuator and a camera module including the same, and more specifically, to a reflective actuator that improves the driving precision of OIS by utilizing the signal system of each of a plurality of Hall sensors.

[0002] As hardware technology for image processing advances and user needs for video shooting increase, functions such as autofocus (AF) and optical image stabilization (OIS) are being implemented in standalone camera devices as well as camera modules mounted on mobile terminals such as cell phones and smartphones.

[0003] Autofocus (automatic focus control) refers to the function of creating a clear image on the image sensor (CMOS, CCD, etc.) installed at the rear of the lens by adjusting the focal distance from the subject by linearly moving the carrier equipped with the lens, etc., in the direction of the optical axis.

[0004] Image stabilization is a function that improves the clarity of an image by adaptively moving the carrier (frame) on which the lens is mounted in a direction that compensates for the shaking caused by hand shaking.

[0005] One of the representative methods for implementing autofocus or OIS function is to install a magnet (coil) on a moving body (carrier) and a coil (magnet) on a fixed body (housing, or other types of carrier, etc.), and then generate an electromagnetic force between the coil and the magnet to move the moving body in the direction of the optical axis or in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis.

[0006] Meanwhile, recent mobile devices are equipped with zoom lenses that can variably adjust the focal length or capture long-distance images in order to meet the increasingly higher user needs and provide greater user convenience.

[0007] These zoom lenses have a structure in which multiple lenses or groups of lenses are arranged in parallel, or the optical axis length of the lens itself is long, so a larger mounting space must be provided in the mobile terminal.

[0008] Recently, actuators or camera modules having a physical structure that refracts light from a subject by using a reflector placed at the front end of the lens have been disclosed in order to organically integrate the physical characteristics of such zoom lenses with the morphological characteristics of portable terminals.

[0009] These actuators that employ a reflector implement OIS by moving the reflector along one or two axes, which reflects the light from the subject toward the lens, rather than moving the lens to compensate for shaking.

[0010] Typically, these actuators have a structure in which guide rails are formed on a moving body and a fixed body, and a plurality of balls are placed between them, so that the moving body rotates along the guide rails while being supported by the balls.

[0011] However, in the case of these conventional devices, the movement of the reflector must be implemented independently in each of the two directions (X-axis and Y-axis) perpendicular to the optical axis (Z-axis), so the structure becomes considerably complex, and there is a problem that it is difficult to maintain driving precision.

[0012] Meanwhile, depending on the direction or posture of a mobile terminal (e.g., smartphone) equipped with an actuator, the position of a rotating moving body for implementing OIS may shift from the reference position for rotation control due to its own weight, etc.

[0013] In the case of conventional actuators, the problem of this kind of bias phenomenon was not considered at all, so these events were regarded as shaking (rotational component) caused by actual hand tremors, etc., and a predetermined correction processing was performed.

[0014] A sensor (hall sensor) typically installed in an actuator is configured to detect the size and direction of a magnetic field based on the part of the magnet facing it and output a corresponding signal value. Therefore, when a deviation occurs due to self-weight and the part of the magnet facing it changes, the hall sensor outputs a signal value corresponding to the changed part.

[0015] Since the driving driver controls the rotation of the moving body based on this signal value, the rotation control is performed based on the wrong position or the deviation due to self-weight is regarded as a rotated component, so the rotation range for OIS becomes smaller than the specified range during subsequent control, thereby lowering the driving precision of the actuator.

[0016] The present invention was created to solve the above-described problems in the above background, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide a reflective actuator that can further improve the driving precision of OIS by accurately reflecting the self-weight-induced shift phenomenon by organically utilizing the signal values of a plurality of Hall sensors and implementing OIS based on this.

[0017] Other objects and advantages of the present invention can be understood through the following description and will be more clearly understood through the embodiments of the present invention. Furthermore, the objects and advantages of the present invention can be realized through the configurations and combinations of configurations set forth in the claims.

[0018] In order to achieve the above object, a reflective actuator according to one embodiment of the present invention may include: a base; a middle guide that rotates relative to the base and relative to a second plane direction; a carrier that rotates relative to the middle guide and relative to a first plane direction perpendicular to the second plane direction, and on which a reflective actuator is installed; a plurality of Hall sensors that face a magnet installed in the middle guide and are provided at different locations; and a driving driver that controls a current applied to a coil that faces the magnet using a plurality of signal values input from each of the plurality of Hall sensors.

[0019] Here, the carrier of the present invention may be configured such that the reflector is installed in the front, and the first groove rail may be provided in the rear, and in this case, the middle guide of the present invention may be configured to include a first guide rail provided in the front and facing the first groove rail; and a second groove rail provided in the rear and facing the second guide rail in the shape of a track provided on the base.

[0020] In addition, the driving driver of the present invention may be configured to process a signal without rotation of the middle guide when the difference between the n-1 (n is a natural number greater than or equal to 2)th input plurality of signal values and the nth input plurality of signal values correspond to each other.

[0021] Furthermore, the plurality of Hall sensors according to the present invention may include a third Hall sensor installed at a position corresponding to a magnetic pole boundary of the magnet and outputting a first signal value; and a fourth Hall sensor installed at a position corresponding to a magnetic pole boundary of the magnet, but symmetrically installed at a position relative to the third Hall sensor with respect to the center portion of the magnet, and outputting a second signal value. In this case, the driving driver of the present invention may be configured to control the current applied to the coil using the result of a subtraction operation of the first and second signal values.

[0022] Preferably, the plurality of Hall sensors of the present invention may be installed at positions symmetrical to each other based on the central portion of the long axis direction of the magnet, and in this case, the driving driver of the present invention may be configured to control the current applied to the coil using the result of a subtraction operation performed on the plurality of signal values input from each of the plurality of Hall sensors.

[0023] In addition, the plurality of Hall sensors of the present invention may be composed of 2k (k is a natural number greater than or equal to 1), and in this case, the driving driver of the present invention may be configured to control the current applied to the coil using posture information calculated by the following formula.

[0024]

[0025] In the above formula, P is posture information about the current position or attitude of the middle guide, and HLa and HRa are signal values of the Hall sensors installed symmetrically on the left and right sides, respectively, with respect to the center of the long axis of the magnet.

[0026] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, by organically utilizing signal values output from a plurality of Hall sensors, the phenomenon of a moving body (with a lens) shifting due to its own weight can be accurately reflected in control processing, thereby further improving driving precision.

[0027] In particular, according to one embodiment of the present invention, even if a combination of self-weight-induced shifting and hand shaking (rotation) occurs, rotation control of a moving body can be effectively implemented through simple function processing of signal values output by multiple Hall sensors.

[0028] According to one embodiment of the present invention, by organically combining physical structures that implement movement in each direction, the motion relationship for moving the reflector in each direction can be implemented with a simpler structure, thereby further increasing the space utilization of the actuator and further improving the driving precision in each direction.

[0029] According to another embodiment of the present invention, a configuration in which a carrier and a middle guide are brought into close contact with each other can be implemented with a simpler structure without any other physical members or structures, thereby fundamentally preventing interference phenomena due to movement in each direction, and more effectively implementing restoration of the reference position of the carrier based on the middle guide.

Based on the principle that the inventor can appropriately define the concept of a term to best explain his or her invention, they should be interpreted in a way that conforms to the technical spirit of the present invention.

[0043] Therefore, the embodiments described in this specification and the configurations illustrated in the drawings are only the most preferred embodiments of the present invention and do not represent all of the technical ideas of the present invention. Therefore, it should be understood that there may be various equivalents and modified examples that can replace them at the time of filing this application.

[0044] Hereinafter, the physical structure and electromagnetic structure of a reflective actuator (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 to 9, and a preferred embodiment of the present invention for detecting and controlling the position of a lens using signal values output by a plurality of Hall sensors will be described later.

[0045]

[0046] FIG. 1 is a drawing illustrating the overall configuration of a reflective actuator (100) (hereinafter referred to as “actuator”) and a camera module (1000) including the same according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0047] The actuator (100) of the present invention can be implemented as a standalone device, and as shown in FIG. 1, it can also be implemented in the form of a camera module (1000) including a lens driving module (200) and an image sensor (30) that implements zoom or autofocus, etc., and is equipped with one or more lenses (50, 60, 70).

[0048] In the present invention, the light of the subject is not directly introduced in the direction of the lens (50, etc.), but is configured to be introduced after the path of the light is changed (refracted, reflected, etc.) through the reflector (110) provided in the actuator (100) of the present invention.

[0049] As illustrated in Fig. 1, the path of light coming from the outside world is Z1, and the path of light that is refracted or reflected by the reflector (110) and enters the lens (50) is Z. In this embodiment, Z1 corresponds to the Y-axis on the direction axis.

[0050] In the following description, the Z-axis direction corresponding to the direction in which light enters the lens (50) is referred to as the optical axis or optical axis direction, and the two directions perpendicular thereto are referred to as the X-axis and the Y-axis. In addition, based on the position and direction of the actuator (100) of the present invention illustrated in FIG. 1, the positive Y-axis direction is referred to as the front or front, and the negative Y-axis direction is referred to as the rear or back.

[0051] An image sensor (30) such as a CCD or CMOS that converts a light signal into an electrical signal may be provided at the rear end of the lens driving module (200) based on the optical axis direction, and of course, a filter that blocks or transmits a light signal of a specific band may also be provided.

[0052] As described in detail below, the actuator (100) of the present invention corresponds to a device that implements OIS for the X-axis direction or / and the Y-axis direction by rotating and moving the reflector (110) in a direction that compensates for the movement when shaking due to hand tremors, etc. occurs in the X-axis direction or / and the Y-axis direction perpendicular to the optical axis.

[0053] Although the drawings and the like illustrate an embodiment that implements shake correction in both the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction in an integrated manner, this is only one example, and depending on the embodiment, only a structure for shake correction in either the X-axis direction or the Y-axis direction is applied, and shake correction in the other direction can be implemented by a method such as linearly moving a carrier on which a lens (60, 70) is mounted.

[0054] It is obvious that the axes depicted in the drawings, terms referring to the axes, and terms indicating directions such as upper, lower, front, rear, vertical, etc., described based on the axes are only intended to present relative standards for describing embodiments of the present invention, and are not intended to specify any direction or position on an absolute basis, and may of course vary relatively depending on the position of the target object, the position of the observer, the view direction, etc.

[0055] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described by defining the Z-axis as a reference for the up-down or vertical direction as previously described, and from a corresponding viewpoint, embodiments of the present invention will be described by defining the Y-axis as a reference for the front or rear, and the X-axis as a reference for the left or right.

[0056] According to the criteria defined in this way, as described below, the YZ plane becomes the plane direction in which the carrier (120) of the present invention rotates with respect to the middle guide (130), and the XZ plane becomes the plane direction in which the middle guide (130) rotates with respect to the base (140) while the carrier (120) is mounted.

[0057]

[0058] Figure 2 is an exploded view showing the detailed configuration of an actuator (100) according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0059] As illustrated in FIG. 2, the actuator (100) of the present invention may be configured to include a case (190) functioning as a shield can, a reflector (110), a carrier (120), a middle guide (130), and a base (140).

[0060] First, the overall configuration of the actuator (100) is described with reference to FIG. 2, and the detailed configuration and driving relationship of the actuator (100) for OIS driving in each direction are described later.

[0061] As illustrated in FIG. 2, when light of the Z1 path is introduced into the actuator (100) of the present invention through the opening (193) of the case (190), the reflection system (110) of the present invention changes the path of the introduced light (refracted or reflected, etc.) in the direction of the optical axis (Z) and introduces the light toward the lens driving module (200).

[0062] The above reflector (110) may be one selected from among a mirror or a prism, or a combination thereof, and may further be implemented as a variety of materials capable of changing light introduced from the outside into the direction of the optical axis.

[0063] In this way, the present invention is configured so that the light path is refracted by the reflector (110) and then flows toward the lens driving module (200), so that the lens driving module (200) itself does not need to be installed in the thickness direction of the portable terminal. Therefore, even if an optical member having a long physical characteristic in the direction of the optical axis, such as a zoom lens, is mounted on the portable terminal, the thickness of the portable terminal does not increase, so that it can be optimized for miniaturization of the portable terminal, etc.

[0064] As is well known, OIS operation is implemented by moving the lens, etc. in a direction that compensates for shaking caused by hand tremors. However, in the embodiment to which the present invention is applied, OIS is operated by moving the reflector (110) unlike the method of moving the lens, etc. in reverse.

[0065] The reflector (110) of the present invention is installed in the direction of the opening (193) of the case (190) through which light enters the actuator (100), that is, in the direction facing the front in the Y-axis direction, based on the example shown in FIG. 2.

[0066] The reflector (110) is installed in front of the carrier (120) as shown in FIG. 2, and the carrier (120) is physically supported by the middle guide (130) and rotates relative to the middle guide (130).

[0067] As described below, when the carrier (120) of the present invention rotates (based on the YZ plane) based on the middle guide (130), the reflector (110) installed on the carrier (120) also rotates in the same direction, and by the rotational movement of the reflector (110), the path of light entering the image sensor shifts in the Y-axis direction, thereby correcting the shake in the Y-axis direction.

[0068] In this respect, the carrier (120) of the present invention corresponds to a moving body in relation to the above-described rotational movement, and the middle guide (130) of the present invention corresponds to a fixed body in a corresponding viewpoint.

[0069] In the following description, with respect to Y-axis direction shake correction, the direction of rotation relative to the YZ plane is referred to as the first plane direction (or first direction), and with respect to X-axis direction shake correction, as described later, the direction of rotation relative to the XZ plane is referred to as the second plane direction (or second direction).

[0070] A first magnet (M1) is provided at the upper portion (based on the Z-axis) of the carrier (120), and a first coil (C1) is arranged in a direction facing the first magnet (M1). When power of an appropriate size and direction is applied to the first coil (C1), an electromagnetic force is generated between the first coil (C1) and the first magnet (M1), and the carrier (120) rotates due to this generated electromagnetic force.

[0071] The above first coil (C1) can be implemented in a form mounted on a circuit board (170), and the circuit board (170) can be equipped with a first Hall sensor (H1) that detects the position of the reflector (110), specifically the position of the first magnet (M1), etc., using the Hall effect as shown in the drawing.

[0072] When the signal value of the first Hall sensor (H1) is input, the driving driver (D) controls power to be applied to the first coil (C1) in a size and direction corresponding to the signal value of the input first Hall sensor (H1).

[0073] As described below, at the rear of the carrier (120) of the present invention, a first groove rail (121) is formed facing the first guide rail (133) formed in the middle guide (130), and a first ball (B1) is placed between the first groove rail (121) and the first guide rail (133).

[0074] Meanwhile, the middle guide (130) is physically supported by the base (140) so as to rotate (based on the XZ plane) about the base (140).

[0075] As described above, a carrier (120) having a reflector (110) installed thereon is mounted on the middle guide (130) via the first ball (B1). Therefore, when the middle guide (130) rotates with respect to the XZ plane, that is, with respect to the Y-axis direction (RA, see FIG. 7, etc.), the reflector (110) also rotates in the same direction along with the physical movement.

[0076] Since the reflector (110) has a slope on which the light of the subject is reflected, when the reflector (110) rotates in the second plane direction (based on the XZ plane), the path of the light entering the image sensor shifts in the X-axis direction, thereby correcting the shake in the X-axis direction.

[0077] In this respect, when the rotational movement (second plane direction rotation) for X-axis direction shake correction is taken as the standard, the middle guide (130) of the present invention corresponds to a moving body, and from a corresponding viewpoint, the base (140) functions as a fixed body. Therefore, the middle guide (130) of the present invention corresponds to a moving body in the X-axis direction OIS, but corresponds to a fixed body with respect to the Y-axis direction OIS.

[0078] A second magnet (M2) is mounted at the rear of the middle guide (130) (see FIG. 3), and a second coil (C2) is placed in a direction facing it. When a signal value of a second hall sensor (H2) corresponding to the direction and magnitude of the magnetic force of the second magnet (M2) is input to the driving driver (D), the driving driver (D) is controlled so that power of an appropriate magnitude and direction is applied to the second coil (C2).

[0079] When power is applied to the second coil (C2), the second coil (C2) generates a magnetic force in the second magnet (M2), and the generated magnetic force causes the middle guide (130) to rotate around the XZ plane.

[0080] As illustrated in FIG. 2, the first magnet (M1) may be configured to be exposed to the first coil (C1) through an opening (147) formed on the upper portion (Z-axis standard) of the base (140) so that the magnetic force between the first coil (C1) and the first magnet (M1) can be increased.

[0081] In addition, it is preferable that the first magnet (M1) installed on the upper side of the carrier (120) and the second magnet (M2) installed on the rear side of the middle guide (130) are arranged perpendicular to each other so that the influence of the magnetic force in each direction on the magnetic force in the other direction can be minimized by configuring the magnetic force for driving in each direction to be orthogonal. In addition, in accordance with this structure, the first coil (C1) and the second coil (C2) are mounted perpendicular to each other on a circuit board (170) implemented as a flexible circuit board or the like.

[0082] According to the embodiment, a damper (195) for absorbing external shocks, etc., as illustrated in FIG. 2 may be provided on the base (140).

[0083]

[0084] Hereinafter, with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4, etc., a specific configuration of the present invention that implements OIS in the Y-axis direction by causing the carrier (120) to rotate in the first plane direction based on the middle guide (130) will be described in detail.

[0085] A first magnet (M1) facing a first coil (C1) is installed on the upper part of a carrier (120) where a reflector (110) is installed in front. According to an embodiment, it is preferable that a first back yoke (180-1) be provided between the first magnet (M1) and the carrier (120), i.e., in the opposite direction in which the first magnet (M1) faces the first coil (C1), so that the electromagnetic force between the first coil (C1) and the first magnet (M1) can be strengthened.

[0086] In this case, as shown in the upper enlarged view of Fig. 3, it is preferable that a first wall portion (181-1) having a shape such as a bend is formed in the portion adjacent to the second magnet (M2) of the first back yoke (180-1).

[0087] In this configuration, in addition to the configuration in which the first magnet (M1) and the second magnet (M2) are positioned orthogonally to each other, the magnetic influence between them can be more effectively blocked.

[0088] It is also preferable that a second back yoke (180-2) be formed between the second magnet (M2) and the middle guide (130), and a second wall portion (181-2) be formed adjacent to the first magnet (M1) from a corresponding viewpoint.

[0089] As shown in Fig. 3, the first groove rail (121) formed at the rear of the carrier (120) has a round shape, and the first guide rail (133) of a shape corresponding thereto is formed at the front (Y-axis direction) of the middle guide (130).

[0090] A first ball (B1) may be placed between the first home rail (121) and the first guide rail (133) as shown in FIG. 3. In order to implement effective guiding for rotational movement, the first ball (B1) may be provided in a form in which a portion thereof is accommodated in at least one of the first home rail (121) and / or the first guide rail (133).

[0091] In this case, the carrier (120) maintains an appropriate distance from the middle guide (130) through the first ball (B1) and can move linearly more flexibly with minimized friction due to the movement, rolling, etc. of the first ball (B1), thereby reducing noise and minimizing the driving force for moving the carrier (120).

[0092] In order to more stably implement the first plane direction movement, it is preferable that the first home rails (121) are formed symmetrically on both sides of the carrier (120).

[0093] In this configuration, as shown in FIG. 4, the carrier (120) equipped with the reflector (110) rotates in the first plane direction (based on the YZ plane) with respect to the middle guide (130) through the physical guiding of the first ball (B1), the first home rail (121), and the first guide rail (133).

[0094] Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 3, a pulling magnet (150) is provided at the rear of the carrier (120), and a pulling yoke (160) made of a metal material that faces the pulling magnet (150) and generates an attractive force with the pulling magnet (150) is provided at the front of the middle guide (130).

[0095] The carrier (120) is pulled toward the middle guide (130) by the attractive force generated between the pulling yoke (160) and the pulling magnet (150), so that point-contact between the carrier (120) and the first ball (B1) and between the first ball (B1) and the middle guide (130) can be continuously maintained.

[0096] It is preferable that the above-mentioned pulling magnet (150) be provided in the center portion of the first home rail (121) formed on each side of the carrier (120).

[0097] In this configuration, the attractive force between the pulling magnet (150) and the pulling yoke (160) acts evenly and in a balanced manner, so that the attractive force applied to the plurality of first balls (B1) is not biased toward a specific first ball (B1), thereby improving driving precision, and when the power applied to the first coil (C1) is terminated, the carrier (120) can be more effectively returned to the basic position.

[0098] According to the embodiment, the protruding guide (137) may be provided at either the rear of the carrier (120) or the front of the middle guide (130), and the guide groove (127) for accommodating the protruding guide (137) may be provided at either the rear of the carrier (120) or the front of the middle guide (130), where the protruding guide (137) is not provided.

[0099] In this configuration, not only can physical guiding for the rotational movement of the carrier (120) be implemented more effectively, but the rotational movement of the carrier (120) can also be effectively limited to a specific range.

[0100] Since the protruding guide (137) and guide groove (127) of the present invention described above, as well as the pulling magnet (150) and pulling yoke (160), are provided at the mutually facing portions of the carrier (120) and the middle guide (130), the increase in volume can be effectively suppressed and the space utilization can be further improved.

[0101]

[0102] Hereinafter, with reference to FIGS. 5 to 8, etc., a specific configuration of the present invention that implements OIS in the X-axis direction by rotating the middle guide (130) in the second plane direction (second direction) with respect to the base (140) will be described in detail.

[0103] As shown in the drawing, a second groove rail (131) having an overall track shape is formed at the rear of the middle guide (130), and a second guide rail (141) having a shape corresponding to the second groove rail (131) is formed at the front of the base (140).

[0104] The second ball (B2) placed between the middle guide (130) and the base (140) can be placed in a form in which a portion of it is accommodated in the second home rail (131) or / and the second guide rail (141).

[0105] The second home rail (131) and the second guide rail (141) are formed in a round track shape with a radius of curvature (R) based on the XZ plane, as shown in the drawing.

[0106] In the drawing, the guide rail (131) and the home rail (141) are each shown as four separate pieces, but this is only an example, and it is obvious that a different number may be provided.

[0107] In this way, the second groove rail (131) and the second guide rail (141) forming a track shape based on the XZ plane are formed at the rear of the middle guide (130) and in front of the base (140), so that the middle guide (130) of the present invention rotates based on the base (140) while facing the base (140) plane-to-plane.

[0108] As described above, the first home rail (121) formed on the carrier (120) and the first guide rail (133) formed in front of the middle guide (130) have a rail structure formed in a different direction from that of the second home rail (131) described above.

[0109] Therefore, when the middle guide (130) rotates in the second direction, the physical driving force is directly transmitted to the carrier (120), so when the middle guide (130) rotates (in the second direction) with respect to the base (140), the reflector (110) also rotates around the Y-axis to the rotation axis (RA), as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, thereby implementing shake correction of the X-axis direction component.

[0110]

[0111] Figure 9 is a drawing explaining the rotational movement in each direction implemented by the actuator (100) of the present invention.

[0112] The actuator (100) according to the present invention corresponds to an actuator that implements OIS by rotating a reflector (110) that refracts (reflects) light from a subject toward an image sensor in a plurality of directions, each in a direction or a combination of directions.

[0113] As described in detail above, the actuator (100) according to the present invention performs OIS in a single direction as well as in a combined direction of multiple directions by performing a complex combination of rotation of the reflector (110) based on the YZ plane and rotation of the reflector (110) based on the XZ plane.

[0114] The rotation (first plane direction rotation) of the reflector (110) corresponding to the electron is implemented by the carrier (120) with the middle guide (130) as a relatively fixed body rotating around the YZ plane using the electromagnetic force between the first magnet (M1) and the first coil (C1) as the driving force.

[0115] The rotation (second plane direction rotation) of the reflector (110) corresponding to the latter is implemented by the middle guide (130) with the base (140) as a relatively fixed body rotating around the XZ plane using the electromagnetic force between the second magnet (M2) and the second coil (C2) as the driving force.

[0116] The middle guide (130) and the carrier (120) have a structure supported by the first home rail (121), the first guide rail (133), and the first ball (B1) placed between the first home rail (121) and the first guide rail (133). Since this structure is generally perpendicular to the XZ plane, when the middle guide (130) rotates in the second direction, the carrier (120) also rotates in the second direction together with the middle guide (130).

[0117] In this way, when the carrier (120) rotates in the second direction by the rotation of the middle guide (130), the reflector (110) mounted on the carrier (120) also rotates in the second direction (XZ plane), and shaking such as X-axis direction shaking is corrected by the rotational movement of the reflector (110).

[0118] As described above, the actuator (100) of the present invention implements OIS that compensates for hand shake, etc., through rotational movement in two directions. Specifically, the carrier (120) of the present invention rotates based on the middle guide (130), and rotates based on the first plane direction (YZ plane), and the middle guide (130) of the present invention rotates based on the base (140), and rotates based on the second plane direction (XZ plane) that is perpendicular to the first plane direction, which is the YZ plane.

[0119]

[0120] Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the present invention for detecting and controlling the position of a lens using signal values output by a plurality of Hall sensors will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 10 to 14.

[0121] FIG. 10 is a drawing illustrating a base (140) and a middle guide (130) according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 11 is a drawing explaining the relationship between a second hall sensor (H2) and a second magnet (M2) of the present invention.

[0122] In the description above, rhetorical expressions such as first, second, etc. were used to distinguish between a configuration implementing a first-plane OIS and a configuration implementing a second-plane OIS. However, the embodiment described below is an embodiment implementing the second-plane OIS described above, so in order to focus on describing the configuration implementing this embodiment, the second magnet (M2) is referred to as a magnet (M2), the second Hall sensor (H2) is referred to as a Hall sensor (H2), and the second coil (C2) is referred to as a coil (C2).

[0123] The middle guide (130) rotates based on the XZ plane as described above, and this rotational movement is achieved by outputting a signal value according to the position (rotational position) or posture of the magnet (M2) and controlling the current applied to the coil (C2) according to the signal value, and this process is applied cyclically through feedback control.

[0124] Therefore, it is preferable that the Hall sensor (H2, the second Hall sensor in the embodiment described above) that detects the position of the magnet (M2, the second magnet in the embodiment described above) and outputs a signal value accordingly be arranged at a position corresponding to the magnetic pole boundary (the boundary between the N pole and the S pole) of the magnet (M2) in order to increase the precision of the change in the size and direction of the magnetic field caused by the magnet (M2).

[0125] Meanwhile, the middle guide (130) faces the base (140) plane-to-plane with respect to the XZ plane, and the second groove rail (131) and the second guide rail (141) in which the second ball (B2) is interposed are formed as a rounded space for rotational guiding of the middle guide (130) in the ZX plane direction, so that an overall free space is formed with respect to the Z-axis direction.

[0126] Therefore, when the actuator (100) is in the posture shown in FIG. 9 or FIG. 10, the middle guide (130) equipped with the carrier (120) (equipped with the reflector (110)) can be shifted downward based on the default position of the control by its own weight.

[0127] In this way, when the middle guide (130) is shifted downward (based on the Z-axis), the magnet (M2) installed in the middle guide (130) is also shifted downward, and the magnetic pole boundary of the magnet (M2) also moves downward, so that the magnetic pole boundary deviates from the fixed position matched with the Hall sensor (H2).

[0128] In the case where the Hall sensor detecting the position of the magnet (M2) is configured as a single unit as in the past, this shift (deviation) is also recognized as a rotation component, so not only is the precision of linearity control reduced, but crosstalk defects and errors in the rotation range may also occur.

[0129] In order to effectively resolve these problems, the actuator (100) of the present invention is configured to apply a plurality of Hall sensors (H2) facing a magnet (M2), and to accurately distinguish between rotational behavior due to hand tremor of the magnet (M2) and downward behavior due to the above-described shift by utilizing the mutual relationship between signal values output by each of the plurality of Hall sensors (H2), and to implement OIS in the second plane direction based on this.

[0130] The Hall sensor (H2) of the present invention is installed in multiple numbers, and is provided in different positions facing the magnet (M2) as shown in FIG. 10 and FIG. 11.

[0131] In addition, the Hall sensor (H2) of the present invention can be installed at a position corresponding to the magnetic pole boundary (PL, see FIG. 11) of the magnet (M2) as shown in the drawing, and further, can be installed at a position (D1=D2) that is symmetrical with respect to the center portion (C, see FIG. 11) based on the long axis direction (X-axis direction) of the magnet (M2).

[0132] When multiple Hall sensors (H2) are installed in such a location, when a shift occurs due to self-weight, all of the multiple Hall sensors (H2) output change values of the same size and direction, and when a rotational movement occurs due to hand tremors, etc., a change value with a corresponding size but an opposite component in direction is output.

[0133] Therefore, according to the embodiment of the present invention, the relationship between the signal values output by each Hall sensor can accurately represent the behavior of the magnet (M2) (behavior due to rotation and shift (drop) behavior due to self-weight).

[0134] It goes without saying that the number of Hall sensors (H2) can be configured in various ways if the Hall sensors (H2) are located at positions (D1=D2) that are symmetrical to each other with respect to the center (C) or the exact center (based on the XZ plane) of the magnet (M2). Hereinafter, as an example, an embodiment in which the Hall sensor (H2) is configured with a third Hall sensor (H2-1) and a fourth Hall sensor (H2-2) will be described.

[0135] As described above, the driving driver (D) of the present invention controls the size and / or direction of the current applied to the coil (C2) facing the magnet (M2) using multiple signal values input from the Hall sensor (H2).

[0136] The driving driver (D) of the present invention may be configured to process the corresponding signal without rotation of the middle guide (130) by considering that the magnet (M2), i.e., the middle guide (130), has shifted due to its own weight when the difference between the n-1th signal value (n is a natural number greater than or equal to 2) and the nth signal value input from the third hall sensor (H2-1) corresponds to the difference between the n-1th signal value and the nth signal value input from the fourth hall sensor (H2-2).

[0137] In this way, when multiple Hall sensors (H2) installed at the same height (based on the Z-axis) or at different locations output the same change value at a specific △t, it means a shift phenomenon in which the magnet (M2) moves vertically downward (based on the Z-axis). Therefore, in this case, the driving driver (D) of the present invention controls processing to compensate for shaking due to hand tremors not to be performed.

[0138]

[0139] Fig. 12 is a drawing explaining the positional relationship between the Hall sensor (H2) and the magnet (M2) of the present invention, and Figs. 13 and 14 are graphs showing the signal value of the Hall sensor (H2) for (a) and (b) of Fig. 12, respectively.

[0140] Fig. 12(a) is a drawing showing the positional relationship between a magnet (M2) and a Hall sensor (H2) based on a state in which no shift due to self-weight occurs, and Fig. 12(b) is a drawing showing the positional relationship between a magnet (M2) and a Hall sensor (H2) based on a state in which a shift due to self-weight occurs.

[0141] When a shift due to self-weight occurs as in Fig. 12(b), the third hall sensor (H2-1) and the fourth hall sensor (H2-2) installed on the fixed base (140) maintain their positions relatively, while the magnet (M2) installed on the moving middle guide (130) shifts downward (based on the Z-axis) (△h).

[0142] As shown in the drawing, the third hall sensor (H2-1) of the present invention is installed at a position corresponding to the magnetic pole boundary (PL) of the magnet (M2) based on the default position, and outputs a first signal value corresponding to the magnetic field characteristic value (size, direction) of the portion of the magnet (M2) facing it.

[0143] The fourth Hall sensor (H2-2), which is installed in a position symmetrical to the third Hall sensor (H2-1), also outputs a second signal value corresponding to the area of the magnet (M2) facing it, like the third Hall sensor (H2-1).

[0144] The driving driver (D) of the present invention is configured to control the size and / or direction of the current applied to the coil (C2) by using the result of a subtraction operation of the first signal value and the second signal value when they are each input.

[0145] Referring to the drawing, the third Hall sensor (H2-1) outputs a first signal value that gradually decreases (the absolute value increases) as the magnet (M2) rotates counterclockwise and enters the magnetic field area by the S pole, and outputs a first signal value that gradually increases as the rotation angle increases as the magnet (M2) rotates clockwise.

[0146] Meanwhile, in the case of the fourth hall sensor (H2-2), when the magnet (M2) rotates counterclockwise, it enters the magnetic field area by the N pole, and accordingly, it outputs a second signal value that gradually increases. From a corresponding viewpoint, when the magnet (M2) rotates clockwise, it outputs a second signal value that gradually decreases (the absolute value increases) as the rotation angle increases.

[0147] When the first signal value is subtracted from the second signal value based on the same time zone, a result value corresponding to [2b, -2b] is produced in the entire rotation angle range [-B°~ B°] as shown in the lower drawing of Fig. 13.

[0148] That is, since a linear functional relationship is established in which the rotation angle and the result value (second signal value - first signal value) are each matched 1:1, the driving driver (D) of the present invention can accurately control the size and direction of the current applied to the coil (C2) using this result value.

[0149] For reference, Fig. 13 represents the size of the value output by each Hall sensor (H2) as b, a, 0, -a, -b, etc. to symbolically represent the signal value of the third Hall sensor (H2-1) and the third Hall sensor (H2-1) according to the rotation of the magnet (M2), but it goes without saying that the value may be different if the output value of each Hall sensor (H2) is set as a binary code value, etc.

[0150] In addition, in the above description, the embodiment of the present invention was described based on the method of subtracting the first signal value from the second signal value, but this is only one example, and the method of subtracting the second signal value from the first signal value can also be applied to the embodiment of the present invention because the result values according to the angle are matched 1:1.

[0151] Below, we will examine the control processing that occurs when the magnet (M2) shifts (downward) by △h, thereby shifting the third hall sensor (H2-1) and the fourth hall sensor (H2-2) of the present invention by △h from the default position.

[0152] When the magnet (M2) is not rotating, that is, when the magnet (M2) is maintained horizontal, the third hall sensor (H2-1) and the fourth hall sensor (H2-2) are shifted upward by △h in their relative positional relationship with the magnet (M2), so that the second signal values output by the third hall sensor (H2-1) and the fourth hall sensor (H2-2) become “k” as illustrated in Fig. 14. For reference, when no shift due to self-weight occurs, the output values of the third hall sensor (H2-1) and the second hall sensor (H2) become 0 (see Fig. 13).

[0153] In this state (the state in which the magnet (M2) is shifted), when the magnet (M2) rotates counterclockwise, the influence of the magnetic field by the N pole on the fourth Hall sensor (H2-2) becomes greater, so the second signal value of a gradually increasing size is output accordingly, and the second signal value output at the maximum angle on one side (-B°) becomes "b+k".

[0154] In the case of the third Hall sensor (H2-1) from a corresponding viewpoint, when the magnet (M2) rotates counterclockwise, it is gradually more influenced by the S pole, and thus outputs a first signal value that gradually decreases (the absolute value increases). The first signal value output at the maximum angle on one side (-B°) becomes "-b+k".

[0155] When the magnet (M2) rotates clockwise, the fourth Hall sensor (H2-2) gradually faces the magnetic field area caused by the S pole, so it outputs a second signal value that gradually decreases, and when it reaches the maximum angle (B°) on the other side, the fourth Hall sensor (H2-2) outputs “-b+k” as the second signal value.

[0156] In this case, the third Hall sensor (H2-1) is gradually more influenced by the N pole, so it outputs a first signal value that gradually increases, and at the maximum angle on the other side (B°), it outputs "b+k" as the first signal value.

[0157] Even when a shift due to self-weight occurs as shown in the lower drawing of Fig. 14, when processing is performed to subtract the second signal value and the first signal value, a result substantially the same as when no shift occurs is produced.

[0158] Therefore, when calculating (subtracting) the signal values of multiple Hall sensors (H2) and using the result value to control the current applied to the coil (C2), even if a shift occurs due to self-weight, the result value due to the shift can be accurately filtered during the calculation process, so that the driving precision can be continuously maintained.

[0159] In the case of performing processing to calculate the signal values of multiple Hall sensors (H2) as described above according to the embodiment, noise components generated in each signal system may also be reflected redundantly. Therefore, in order to reduce the components thereof, it may be desirable to divide the calculation result value by the number of Hall sensors (H2) reflected in the calculation, that is, to perform an addition / subtraction average calculation.

[0160] Since the processing of the present invention described above can be implemented through a plurality of Hall sensors (H2) installed at mutually symmetrical positions based on the center point of the magnet (M2) as described above, it is preferable that the Hall sensors (H2) be composed of an even number (2k, where k is a natural number greater than or equal to 1).

[0161] If the output value of the Hall sensor (H2) installed in a non-symmetrical position can be appropriately reflected in the calculation process, it goes without saying that the processing of the present invention described above can be applied even when an odd number of Hall sensors (H2) are installed.

[0162] In the case where multiple Hall sensors (H2) installed in positions symmetrical to each other are applied, the driving driver (D) of the present invention can be configured to use posture information calculated by the following formula to specify the position or attitude of the magnet (M2) and control the current applied to the coil (C2) so that OIS processing (second plane direction OIS) corresponding to the specified position is performed.

[0163]

[0164] In the above formula, P is posture information about the current position or attitude of the middle guide (130), HLa and HRa are Hall sensors (H2) installed at positions symmetrical to each other based on the center of the long axis of the magnet, HLa is the signal value of the Hall sensor installed on the left side based on the center, and HRa is the signal value of the Hall sensor installed on the right side.
