Description

[0001] ARMOURED TRACKED OR WHEELED FIGHTING VEHICLE

[0002] The invention relates to tracked and wheeled armored combat vehicles for fire support of armored vehicles and infantry units, including assault units, both in offensive and defensive combat operations, including in urban conditions.

[0003] The Russian combat multifunctional robotic complex "Uran-9" (unmanned ground vehicle) on a tracked chassis [DI] is known from the state of the art. D1 is designed to conduct reconnaissance and fire support for advanced and reconnaissance units of combined arms formations of the tactical level, increase the efficiency of combat missions and reduce losses of unit personnel during combat operations, including in urban conditions. It is allocated by the manufacturer as a separate type of combat vehicle "Reconnaissance and Fire Support Robot (RROP)". As of the first half of 2023, D1 is undergoing testing and trials in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

[0004] The D1 design does not provide the ability to increase the height of the firing line of all its standard weapons, including small arms machine guns (the Kalashnikov tank machine gun, modernized (PKTM), caliber 7.62 mm, model 1998).

[0005] From the prior art, according to the patent for invention DE3524244A1 dated 06.07.1985 “Armored track-laying or wheeled combat vehicle”, a serially produced German combat vehicle for combating tanks and helicopters “Panther” by the company “Wegman” on the chassis of the tank “Leopard-1” with a lifting manned combat module with missile launchers suspended from it [D2], is known. The lifting combat module is located on the outer end of a two-section lifting mast, movably mounted on a rotating turret D2. Replenishment of ammunition of the standard missile armament D2 is carried out after lowering the lifting mast with the combat module to the hull of the combat vehicle from the ammunition supply inside it and can be carried out automatically or with the help of crew members. D2 is supplied to fighter-anti-tank companies of tank and motorized infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Germany.

[0006] The design of the D2 combat vehicle has the following disadvantages:

[0007] - does not provide a wide range of the angle of descent for its standard armament installed on the lifting platform (8) (hereinafter referred to as the lifting combat module), at any time when the lifting mast is deployed in height or deployed to its full height, as a result of which the combat vehicle has, at any position of the lifting combat module during the deployment of the lifting mast, a significant unaffected space for the standard armament of its lifting combat module within a radius of 50 meters or more at 360° around the vertical axis of symmetry of the combat vehicle hull;

[0008] - does not provide a descent angle for its standard armament installed on the lifting combat module when the lifting mast is folded and is in the transport position on the hull of the combat vehicle, as a result of which the combat vehicle has a significant unaffected space for the standard armament of the lifting combat module of 1000 meters or more relative to the longitudinal horizontal axis of symmetry of the hull of the combat vehicle from the side of its frontal part;

[0009] - does not provide the ability to extend the length of the sections of the combat vehicle's lifting mast, which makes it impossible, if necessary during combat operations, to increase the height of the firing line of the combat vehicle's standard weapons installed on the lifting combat module;

[0010] - does not provide the ability to rotate the lifting combat module in a horizontal plane around its vertical axis of symmetry relative to the vertical axis of symmetry of the rotating turret of the combat vehicle when the turret is in a stationary position, which makes it impossible, if necessary during combat operations, to change or increase the horizontal guidance angle of the standard weapons installed on the lifting combat module without rotating the rotating turret of the combat vehicle;

[0011] - does not provide the ability, if necessary during combat operations, to rotate the upper section of the lifting mast around a corner or around a man-made structure or protruding element of natural origin in order to deliver the lifting combat module with standard weapons to any necessary and accessible point within the range of the lifting mast around a corner or around a man-made structure or protruding element of natural origin;

[0012] - does not provide the ability, if necessary during combat operations, for example, for rescue purposes, to deliver the lifting combat module in its standard position directly to the ground level (terrain) at which the combat vehicle is located.

[0013] The present invention is aimed at solving technical problems of expanding the following functional and combat capabilities of an armored tracked or wheeled combat vehicle:

[0014] - to ensure a wide range of the angle of descent for the combat vehicle's standard armament installed on the lifting combat module, at any time when the lifting mast is deployed in height or deployed to its full height - to eliminate the unaffected space for the standard armament of the lifting combat module by 360° around the vertical axis of symmetry of the combat vehicle's hull;

[0015] - to ensure a wide range of the angle of descent for the combat vehicle’s standard armament installed on the lifting combat module when the lifting mast is folded and is in the transport position on the combat vehicle’s hull, in order to eliminate the non-lethal space for the lifting combat module’s standard armament relative to the longitudinal horizontal axis of symmetry of the combat vehicle’s hull from the side of its frontal part;

[0016] - to ensure the possibility, if necessary during combat operations, of increasing the height of the line of fire of the combat vehicle's standard armament installed on the lifting combat module; - to ensure the possibility, if necessary during combat operations, of changing the horizontal guidance angle of the standard armament installed on the lifting combat module by 360° relative to the vertical axis of symmetry of the lifting combat module without turning the rotating turret of the combat vehicle;

[0017] - to ensure the possibility of delivering a lifting combat module with standard weapons to any necessary and accessible point within the range of the lifting mast around a corner or around a man-made structure or protruding element of natural origin;

[0018] - to ensure the possibility of delivering the lifting combat module in its standard position directly to the ground level (terrain) at which the combat vehicle is located, and to any point on the ground level (terrain) within the radius of action of the lifting mast at 360° around the vertical axis of symmetry of the combat vehicle body.

[0047] According to the present invention, an armored tracked or wheeled combat vehicle is considered.

[0048] An armoured tracked or wheeled combat vehicle 1 is a ground-based mechanical transport vehicle with its own engine, independent drive, on-board electrical supply system and a tracked or wheeled chassis.

[0049] On the upper surface of the hull 2 of the combat vehicle 1, a rotating turret 3 is installed, which serves as a support platform for a vertically rotating mechanism 4 equipped in the turret 3. A lifting mast 6 is installed on the mechanism 4 through a guide slot 5 in the hull of the turret 3 and changes its position.

[0050] At the outer end of the lifting mast, a manned or unmanned cabin is movably attached - a lifting combat module with missile launchers 7 suspended from it.

[0051] The ammunition supply of the missile launchers 7 is replenished automatically or with the help of crew members from the ammunition supply inside the combat vehicle 1 through openings 8 in its hull 2 after the lifting combat module is lowered onto hull 2 of the combat vehicle 1.

[0052] In the first embodiment of the combat vehicle 1 (Fig. 1), the lifting mast 6 is a separate telescopic rod 9, which has the ability to move apart along its longitudinal axis of symmetry, which leads to an increase in the length of the telescopic rod 9. The telescopic rod 9 with its lower end through the guide slot 5 in the body of the rotating turret 3 of the combat vehicle 1 is movably mounted on a mechanism 4 rotating in a vertical plane, which is equipped in the rotating turret 3, alone or in conjunction with the mechanism 10 rotating in a horizontal plane.

[0053] At its upper end, the telescopic rod 9 ends with a rotary unit 11, consisting of mechanisms 12 and 13 rotating in a horizontal plane and mechanisms 14 and 15 rotating in a vertical plane.

[0073] In the event of an emergency, the crew of combat vehicle 1 has the technical capability of folding the lifting mast 6, consisting of a separate telescopic rod 9 or at least two telescopic rods 18 and 20, into the transport position using a manual drive, as well as automated or manual disconnection from the rotating tower 3, mounted on it of the lifting mast 6, consisting of a separate telescopic rod 9 or at least two telescopic rods 18 and 20.

[0074] In addition to the standard armament of the lifting combat module of the combat vehicle 1, at least in the combat module embodiments 16 and 21, the hull 2 of the combat vehicle 1 is also equipped with standard armament, at least small arms and / or artillery and / or missile armament, as well as auxiliary engineering attachments, at least a mine-clearing trawl for clearing land minefields and / or a blade for clearing rubble and fortifications.

[0075] The proposed armored tracked or wheeled combat vehicle has the following methods of operation and combat use:

[0076] First of all, it should be noted that the variants of the declared armored tracked or wheeled combat vehicle 1 and its individual elements provide for several models of armored vehicles, such as:

[0077] 1) Combat vehicle 1, the lifting combat module 16 of which is equipped with a remotely controlled sniper unit - a high-precision small arms system 17 (hereinafter referred to as the “Small Arms Combat Vehicle”).

[0078] 2) Combat vehicle 1, the lifting combat module 16 of which is equipped with a remotely controlled sniper mount - a high-precision small arms system 17 and missile launchers 7 of such type as loitering munitions, surface-to-air anti-aircraft missiles, surface-to-surface missiles, universal anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles (hereinafter referred to as the "Small Arms and Missile Combat Vehicle").

[0079] 3) Combat vehicle 1, the lifting combat module 16 of which is equipped with remotely controlled launchers of missile weapons 7 of the type such as loitering munitions, surface-to-air anti-aircraft missiles, surface-to-surface missiles, universal anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles (hereinafter referred to as the “Missile Combat Vehicle”),

[0082] I. Method of operation and combat use of the proposed invention in urban combat conditions during the assault on an enemy stronghold located in a multi-story building

[0083] For the successful implementation of such a complex and dangerous combat operation, it is advisable to use several units of different models of the declared combat vehicle in a complex, such as: Rifle combat vehicle, Rocket combat vehicle, Flamethrower combat vehicle, Airborne combat vehicle.

[0084] After analyzing the intelligence data obtained, including with the help of small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), ideally a special computer program promptly creates a 3-D computer model of the urban area where the multi-story building, the capture of which is planned, and other nearby buildings, structures, elements of the urban landscape are located. As a result of creating such a 3-D model, the points and angles of the sectors of fire from the side of the enemy's firing points are determined and, based on this, closed positions are sought in the places of control of their units for the placement of units of the declared combat vehicle. Such positions must be naturally protected, at least, from enemy rifle and machine gun, grenade launcher, artillery direct fire, artillery (cannon) flat fire and mortar overhead fire.The most suitable places for such closed positions are those on the rear side of buildings, structures and other protruding elements of the urban landscape in relation to the enemy, including ruins, craters, rubble, etc. formed as a result of military action.

[0085] It should be noted that reconnaissance activities do not cease during the entire period of the said combat operation. For example, including with the help of small-sized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), continuous live broadcast of aerial photography of the urban area where the multi-story building is located, the capture of which is planned, is provided to the screens of the communication equipment of allied fighters and their commanders, including the crew members of the units of the declared combat vehicle.

[0086] Depending on the number of enemy forces, one to several units of each model of the proposed invention - the Rifle Combat Vehicle and the Rocket Combat Vehicle - are deployed and placed at the selected, indicated closed positions.

[0087] After installing a separate unit of the Rifle Combat Vehicle in a closed position, the lifting mast 6 of which consists, as an option, of a separate telescopic rod 9 (Fig. 1), the rotating turret 3 is set in motion, as well as the turning and rotating mechanisms 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15. At the same time, the separate telescopic rod 9 is extended to the required length and the lifting combat module 16 is turned towards the selected firing sector.

[0088] As a result of the listed manipulations with the lifting mast 6, a temporary firing point is quickly installed - a lifting combat module 16 with a remotely controlled sniper mount 17 - a high-precision small arms system. Such a point is installed at the required and accessible elevation of the urban landscape within the range of the lifting mast 6. For example, above a protruding element of the urban landscape of artificial or natural origin or next to it. In this case, the combat vehicle 1, its rotating turret 3 and the greater part of the lifting mast 6 remain naturally hidden and protected from enemy fire by means of buildings, structures and other protruding elements of the urban landscape, on the rear part of which, with respect to the enemy, this combat vehicle is installed.

[0089] It should be noted that such a temporary firing point is not static and can, if necessary, at any time move to any other accessible elevation within the range of the lifting mast 6 above or near or behind a protruding element of the urban landscape, for example, to change its firing sector, provide temporary cover from enemy fire, or replenish ammunition.

[0090] The main tasks of the models of the Rifle Combat Vehicle in the specified method of operation and combat use of the proposed invention in urban combat conditions are:

[0091] - non-stop effective fire impact on all firing points of an enemy stronghold located in a multi-story building or next to it or on the approaches to it;

[0092] - destruction of the most important, hidden or very remote enemy targets, such as ATGM and MANPADS crews, snipers, officers, spotters, small-sized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs);

[0093] - ensuring constant psychological pressure on the enemy, suppressing his fighting spirit and demoralization;

[0094] - prohibiting enemy personnel from crossing the neutral zone and moving to, from, or inside an enemy stronghold located in a multi-story building.

[0095] After installing a separate unit of the Missile Combat Vehicle in a closed position, the lifting mast 6 of which consists, as an option, of a separate telescopic rod 9, the rotating tower 3 is set in motion, as well as the turning and rotating mechanisms 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15. At the same time, the separate telescopic rod 9 is extended to the required length and the lifting combat module 16 is turned towards the selected firing sector.

[0096] As a result of the listed manipulations, a temporary firing point is quickly installed - a lifting combat module 16 with remotely controlled missile launchers 7, as an option, of such a type as universal anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles, at the required and accessible elevation mark of the urban landscape within the range of the lifting mast 6.

[0097] It should be noted that such a temporary missile firing point is not static and can, if necessary, at any time move to any other accessible elevation within the range of the lifting mast 6 above or near or behind a protruding element of the urban landscape, for example, to change its firing sector, provide temporary cover from enemy fire, or replenish ammunition.

[0098] The main tasks of the models of the Rocket Combat Vehicle in the specified method of operation and combat use of the proposed invention in urban combat conditions are:

[0099] - destruction of long-term firing points (pillboxes) of an enemy stronghold, equipped with monolithic or prefabricated reinforced concrete, stone on mortar, iron beams with reinforcement and armored coverings in a multi-story building or next to it or on the approaches to it;

[0100] - destruction of tanks and other self-propelled armored targets of the enemy located in a multi-story building or next to it or on the approaches to it;

[0101] - destruction of helicopters, cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other enemy air targets, including at low and extremely low altitudes.

[0102] The units of the Rifle Combat Vehicle and the Missile Combat Vehicle, installed in pre-selected closed positions in the control areas of their units, conduct non-stop combat operations to destroy the listed targets and fire weapons of the enemy stronghold located in a multi-story building or next to it or on the approaches to it.

[0103] If the resistance of an enemy stronghold located in a multi-story building has not been completely broken and there are still pockets of resistance, then, depending on the estimated number of remaining enemy forces, one to several units of one of the models of the proposed invention - the Flamethrower Combat Vehicle (Fig. 2) - are used for further combat work.

[0104] First of all, using the above-described reconnaissance activities, positions are found for the deployment and combat operations of Flamethrower combat vehicle units in the immediate vicinity of a multi-story building held by the enemy, as well as the routes of passage of the combat vehicle to such positions. In this case, for the combat vehicle, both its natural protection by buildings, structures and other protruding elements of the urban landscape and the effectiveness of such positions for its combat operations are taken into account.

[0105] It should be noted that at all stages of the Flamethrower Combat Vehicle's passage to the enemy's strong point located in a multi-story building, and the combat work of the Flamethrower Combat Vehicle directly at such a building, it is covered from their closed positions by units of the Rifle Combat Vehicle and the Missile Combat Vehicle. Such cover from these combat vehicles is carried out by non-stop effective fire action, including on all remaining firing points of the enemy's strong point - what is called "not allowing enemy fighters to stick their heads out" in open openings and places to prevent them from shooting, throwing grenades, launching missiles and other fire action on the declared Flamethrower Combat Vehicle operating against them.

[0106] When moving towards a building occupied by the enemy, in the event of a need for fire action against the enemy in the direction of its movement, the Flamethrower Combat Vehicle uses its standard armament of the lifting combat module 21 and the hull 2 of the combat vehicle 1 to conduct aimed fire against the enemy. In this case, firing from a remotely controlled flamethrower installation 22, for example, a jet type of the lifting combat module 21, can be carried out both at the moment when the lifting mast 6 and the lifting combat module 21 are in the transport position (Fig. 2), and when the lifting mast 6 is deployed in a position convenient for firing.

[0107] When moving towards a building occupied by the enemy, in case of the need to clear mines and clear the path of its movement, the Flamethrower Combat Vehicle uses its attachments, such as a trawl for clearing land minefields and a plow for clearing rubble and fortifications.

[0108] At a combat position directly next to a building - an enemy stronghold, it is advisable to place a separate unit of the Flamethrower Combat Vehicle model, the lifting mast 6 of which consists of two telescopic rods - the lower 18 and the upper 20, for example, near a blank wall of such a building in order to minimize fire exposure from enemy fighters located in this building.

[0109] After the combat vehicle 1 is installed in a combat position directly at the building - the enemy's stronghold, the rotating turret 3 is set in motion, as well as the turning and rotating mechanisms 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19. At the same time, the telescopic rods 18 and 20 are extended to the required length and the lifting combat module 21, equipped with a remotely controlled flamethrower installation 22, for example, of the jet type, is turned towards the selected firing sector.

[0110] Due to the design features of this model of the declared combat vehicle 1, it is possible to rotate the upper telescopic rod 20 of the lifting mast 6 around a corner or around a building - an enemy stronghold - to deliver the lifting combat module 21 with a remotely controlled flamethrower installation 22, for example, of a jet type, to any necessary and accessible point within the range of the lifting mast 6 around a corner or around a building - an enemy stronghold. In this case, the combat vehicle 1, its rotating turret 3 and the greater part of the lifting mast 6 remain naturally hidden and protected from enemy fire, for example, by a blank wall of such a building.

[0111] The flamethrower combat vehicle, due to its lifting combat module 21 with a remotely controlled flamethrower installation 22, for example, of a jet type, carries out combat operations to destroy enemy firing points located at various elevations of a multi-story building - an enemy stronghold.

[0112] In such combat work, together with the flamethrower combat vehicle, units of the Rifle Combat Vehicle and the Missile Combat Vehicle participate from their closed positions. Such participation on the part of these combat vehicles is carried out by non-stop effective fire action, including on all remaining firing points of the enemy strongpoint - what is called "not allowing enemy fighters to stick their heads out" in open openings and places of the strongpoint to prevent them from shooting, throwing grenades, launching missiles and other fire action on the declared Flamethrower Combat Vehicle acting against them.

[0113] After the destruction of the firing points of a multi-story building - an enemy stronghold, the building is captured by fighters of the allied forces - for the final clearing of the building from enemy fighters and equipment at various elevations of the building and on the approaches to it of their own firing positions. To minimize the risks associated with the movement of allied fighters to the liberated building (overcoming enemy fire zones, mined areas, fortifications, rubble, destroyed structures, etc.), one or more units of one of the models of the proposed invention - the Airborne Combat Vehicle (Fig. 3) are used.

[0114] Before such use of a separate Landing Combat Vehicle begins, an assault group of allied fighters enters through its doors 28 and is placed in the habitable compartment 29 of the combat vehicle 1. Doors 28 are closed, and the combat vehicle moves to the landing site of the assault group.

[0115] When moving to the landing site, in the event of a need to fire at the enemy along the course of its movement, the Landing Combat Vehicle uses the standard armament of its hull 2 to conduct aimed fire at the enemy. At the same time, the fighters of the assault group, located in the habitable compartment 29 of the combat vehicle 1, also have the ability to conduct aimed fire at the enemy from their small arms through the embrasures 27 in the hull 2 of the combat vehicle 1.

[0116] In the event that the danger of shelling from the enemy directly near the building - the enemy stronghold - remains, it is advisable to place a separate unit of the model of the Airborne combat vehicle, the lifting mast 6 of which consists of two telescopic rods - the lower 18 and the upper 20, for example, near the blank wall of such a building in order to minimize the fire impact on the Airborne combat vehicle from the enemy fighters remaining in this building.

[0117] After the Landing Combat Vehicle arrives at the landing site directly at the building - the enemy stronghold, the rotating turret 3, as well as the turning and rotating mechanisms 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19 are set in motion. At the same time, the telescopic rods 18 and 20 are extended to the required length. As a result of the above manipulations, the lifting capsule 23 is moved and placed so that its door 26 is opposite the door 28 of the combat vehicle 1 (Fig. 3). The specified doors 28 and 26 open, and the assault group of allied fighters moves from the habitable compartment 29 of the combat vehicle 1 to the habitable compartment 25 of the lifting capsule 23. The assault group is placed in the habitable compartment 25 of the lifting capsule 23, the fighters place their small arms in the embrasures 27 in the hull 24 of the lifting capsule 23, the doors 26 and 28 of the lifting capsule 23 and the combat vehicle 1 close.

[0118] Telescopic rods 18 and 20, rotary and rotating mechanisms 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, rotating tower 3 are set in motion and lifting capsule 23 with landing force is moved to any necessary and accessible within the range of lifting mast 6 elevation mark around the corner or around the building - enemy stronghold. When lifting capsule 23 is moved to the elevation mark of the building - enemy stronghold for landing, in case of necessity of fire action against the enemy during such movement, fighters of assault group conduct aimed fire at the enemy from their small arms through embrasures 27 in hull 24 of lifting capsule 23. At the same time, in order to support landing force from their closed positions, units of Rifle combat vehicle, Missile combat vehicle, Flamethrower combat vehicle conduct fire at the enemy.

[0119] After the lifting capsule 23 reaches the required height of the building - the enemy stronghold, the door 26 of the lifting capsule 23 opens, and the fighters of the allied assault group are parachuted from the capsule 23 into the room of a certain floor (level) of the building selected for the landing. After the landing is complete, the allied fighters begin the final clearing of the building from the remaining enemy fighters and the equipment of their own firing positions at various heights of the building and on the approaches to it.

[0120] After the allied fighters have secured the liberated building, the following allied units, together with units of the declared armored tracked or wheeled combat vehicle - Rifle combat vehicle, Rocket combat vehicle, Flamethrower combat vehicle, Airborne combat vehicle, proceed in accordance with the described method to storm the next enemy stronghold located in a multi-story building.

[0121] II. Method of operation and combat use of the proposed invention in combat conditions during the assault on an enemy field stronghold located on terrain outside of populated areas, equipped in engineering terms and saturated with fire weapons

[0122] As in the previous method, for the successful implementation of such a complex and dangerous combat operation, it is advisable to use several units of different models of the declared combat vehicle, such as: a small arms and missile combat vehicle, a flamethrower combat vehicle, an airborne combat vehicle. After analyzing the intelligence data obtained, including with the help of small-sized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), ideally, a special computer program quickly creates a computer 3-D model of the area square where the field stronghold is located, the capture of which is planned, and other nearby, including protruding, man-made structures and elements of natural origin.

[0123] As a result of compiling such a 3-D model, the points and angles of the firing sectors from the enemy firing points are determined and, based on this, closed positions are sought in the control areas of their units for the deployment of units of the declared combat vehicle models. Such positions must be naturally protected, at least, from enemy rifle and machine gun, grenade launcher, artillery direct fire, artillery (cannon) flat fire and mortar overhead fire. The most suitable places for such closed positions are the rear part of a man-made structure or a protruding element of natural origin in relation to the enemy, including ruins, craters, blockages, etc. formed as a result of military actions.

[0124] It should be noted that reconnaissance activities do not cease during the entire period of the said combat operation. For example, including with the help of small-sized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), continuous live broadcast of aerial photography of the area square where the field stronghold is located, the capture of which is planned, is provided to the screens of the communication equipment of allied fighters and their commanders, including the crew members of the units of the declared combat vehicle.

[0125] Depending on the number of enemy forces, one to several units of the Rifle and Missile Combat Vehicle (Fig. 1) are deployed to the selected closed positions and deployed.

[0126] After installing a separate unit of the Rifle and Missile Combat Vehicle in a closed position, the lifting mast 6 of which consists, as an option, of a separate telescopic rod 9 (Fig. 1), the rotating turret 3 is set in motion, as well as the turning and rotating mechanisms 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15. At the same time, the separate telescopic rod 9 is extended to the required length and the lifting combat module 16 is turned towards the selected firing sector.

[0127] As a result of the listed manipulations, a temporary firing point is quickly installed - an elevating combat module 16 with a remotely controlled sniper mount 17 - a high-precision small arms system and missile launchers 7 at the required and accessible elevation mark of the terrain within the range of the elevating mast 6. For example, above a protruding element of the terrain of artificial or natural origin or next to it. In this case, the combat vehicle 1, its rotating turret 3 and the greater part of the elevating mast 6 remain naturally hidden and protected from enemy fire by the protruding element of the terrain, on the rear part of which, in relation to the enemy, this combat vehicle is installed.

[0128] It should be noted that such a temporary rifle and missile firing point is not static and can, if necessary, at any time move to any other accessible elevation within the range of the lifting mast 6 above a protruding element of the landscape of artificial or natural origin or next to it or behind it, for example, to change its firing sector, temporary shelter from enemy fire, or replenish ammunition.

[0129] The main tasks of the firearms component of the combat vehicle in the specified method of operation and combat use of the proposed invention in combat conditions on terrain outside populated areas are:

[0130] - non-stop effective fire impact on all firing points of the enemy's field strongpoint, located in permanent firing points (pillboxes), dugouts, rifle trenches, trenches, communication passages and in other fortification structures of the strongpoint, or next to it or on the approaches to it; - destruction of the most important, hidden or very remote enemy targets, such as ATGM and MANPADS crews, snipers, officers, spotters, small-sized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs);

[0131] - ensuring constant psychological pressure on the enemy, suppressing his fighting spirit and demoralization;

[0132] - prohibiting enemy personnel from crossing the neutral zone and moving to or from an enemy field stronghold or within it.

[0133] The main tasks of the missile component of the combat vehicle in the specified method of operation and combat use of the proposed invention in combat conditions on terrain outside populated areas are:

[0134] - destruction of permanent firing points (pillboxes) and other fortifications of the enemy's field stronghold or near it or on the approaches to it, equipped with monolithic or precast reinforced concrete, stone on mortar, iron beams with reinforcement and armored coverings;

[0135] - destruction of tanks and other self-propelled armored targets of the enemy located in the enemy’s field stronghold or near it or on the approaches to it;

[0136] - destruction of helicopters, cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other enemy air targets, including at low and extremely low altitudes.

[0137] The units of the Rifle and Missile Combat Vehicle, installed in pre-selected closed positions in the control areas of their units, conduct non-stop combat operations to destroy the listed targets and fire weapons of the enemy's field stronghold located in the area outside of populated areas, or near it or on the approaches to it.

[0138] If the resistance of the enemy's field stronghold has not been completely broken and there are still pockets of resistance left in it, then, depending on the estimated number of remaining enemy forces, one to several units of one of the models of the proposed invention - the Flamethrower Combat Vehicle (Fig. 2) - are used for further combat work.

[0139] First of all, using the above-described reconnaissance activities, positions are sought for the deployment and combat operations of Flamethrower combat vehicle units in the immediate vicinity of a field stronghold held by the enemy, as well as the routes of passage of the combat vehicle to such positions. In this case, for the combat vehicle, both its natural protection by protruding man-made structures and elements of the natural origin of the terrain, and the effectiveness of such positions for its combat operations are taken into account.

[0140] It should be noted that at all stages of the Flamethrower Combat Vehicle's passage to the enemy's field strongpoint located outside populated areas and the combat operations of the Flamethrower Combat Vehicle directly at such a field strongpoint, it is covered from their closed positions by units of the Rifle and Missile Combat Vehicle. Such cover from the units of this combat vehicle is carried out by non-stop effective fire action, including on all remaining firing points of the enemy's field strongpoint - what is called "not allowing enemy fighters to stick their heads out" in open places to prevent them from shooting, throwing grenades, launching missiles and other fire action on the declared Flamethrower Combat Vehicle operating against them.

[0141] When moving toward a field strongpoint occupied by the enemy, in the event of a need to fire at the enemy along its route, the Flamethrower Combat Vehicle uses its standard armament of the lifting combat module 21 and the hull 2 of the combat vehicle to conduct aimed fire at the enemy. In this case, firing from the remotely controlled flamethrower installation 22, for example, a jet type of the lifting combat module 21, can be carried out both at the moment when the lifting mast 6 and the lifting combat module 21 are in the transport position (Fig. 2), and when the lifting mast 6 is deployed in a position convenient for firing. When moving toward a field strongpoint occupied by the enemy, in the event of a need to demin and clear the route of its movement, the Flamethrower Combat Vehicle uses its mounted equipment, for example, a trawl for demining land minefields and a blade for clearing rubble and fortifications.

[0142] At a combat position directly at the enemy's field stronghold, a separate unit of the Flamethrower combat vehicle model, the lifting mast 6 of which consists of two telescopic rods - the lower 18 and the upper

[0143] 20 (Fig. 2), it is advisable to place the parts of a man-made structure or a protruding element of natural origin, including ruins, craters, blockages, etc., formed as a result of military operations, on the rear side in relation to the enemy, in order to minimize the fire impact from enemy fighters located in this field stronghold.

[0144] After installing the combat vehicle 1 in a combat position directly at the enemy's field stronghold, the rotating turret 3 is set in motion, as well as the turning and rotating mechanisms 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19. At the same time, the telescopic rods 18 and 20 are extended to the required length and the lifting combat module 21, equipped with a remotely controlled flamethrower installation 22, for example, of the jet type, is turned towards the selected firing sector.

[0145] Due to the design features of this model of the declared combat vehicle 1, it is possible to rotate the upper telescopic rod 20 of the lifting mast 6 to supply the lifting combat module with a canopy

[0146] 21 above the enemy field strongpoint positions. This ensures that the elevating combat module 21 with the remotely controlled flamethrower installation 22, for example, of the jet type, reaches any necessary and accessible point above the terrain within the range of the elevating mast 6 for effective shelling with the incendiary mixture of any firing points of the enemy field strongpoint within the range of the flamethrower installation 22, located in permanent firing points (pillboxes), dugouts, rifle trenches, trenches, communication passages and in other fortification and engineering structures of the field strongpoint or near it or on the approaches to it. In this case, the combat vehicle 1, its rotating turret 3 and the greater part of the elevating mast 6 remain naturally hidden and protected, for example, by a protruding element in the form of a blockage formed as a result of combat operations.

[0147] The flamethrower combat vehicle, due to its lifting combat module 21 with a remotely controlled flamethrower installation 22, for example, of a jet type, carries out combat operations to destroy enemy firing points located in various places and structures of the enemy's field stronghold.

[0148] In such combat work, together with the flamethrower combat vehicle, units of the Rifle and Missile Combat Vehicle (Fig. 1) participate from their closed positions. Such participation on the part of units of this combat vehicle is carried out by non-stop effective fire action, including on all remaining firing points of the enemy's field strongpoint - what is called "not allowing enemy fighters to stick their heads out" in open openings and places of the field strongpoint to prevent them from shooting, throwing grenades, launching missiles and other fire action on the declared Flamethrower Combat Vehicle operating against them.

[0149] After the destruction of the firing points of the enemy field strongpoint, it is captured by the allied forces - for the final clearing of the fortifications and shelters of the field strongpoint from enemy fighters and equipment in suitable places of the strongpoint and on the approaches to it of their own firing positions. To minimize the risks associated with the movement of allied fighters to the liberated field strongpoint (overcoming enemy fire zones, mined areas, fortifications, rubble, destroyed structures, etc.), one or more units of one of the models of the proposed invention are used - the Airborne combat vehicle (Fig. 3). Before such use of a separate Airborne combat vehicle begins, an assault group of allied fighters enters through its doors 28 and is placed in the habitable compartment 29 of the combat vehicle 1. Doors 28 are closed, and the combat vehicle moves to the landing site of the assault group.

[0150] When moving to the landing site, in the event of a need to fire at the enemy along the course of its movement, the Landing Combat Vehicle uses the standard armament of its hull 2 to conduct aimed fire at the enemy. At the same time, the fighters of the assault group, located in the habitable compartment 29 of the combat vehicle 1, also have the ability to conduct aimed fire at the enemy from their small arms through the embrasures 27 in the hull 2 of the combat vehicle 1.

[0151] In the event that the danger of shelling from the enemy directly at the enemy field strongpoint remains, it is advisable to place a separate unit of the Landing Combat Vehicle model, the lifting mast 6 of which consists of two telescopic rods - the lower 18 and the upper 20, behind a protruding element of the terrain, for example, a blockage formed as a result of combat operations, in order to minimize the fire impact from enemy fighters remaining in this field strongpoint.

[0152] After the Landing Combat Vehicle arrives at the landing site directly at the enemy field stronghold, the rotating turret 3, as well as the turning and rotating mechanisms 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, are set in motion. The assault group is placed in the habitable compartment 25 of the lifting capsule 23, the fighters place their small arms in the embrasures 27 in the hull 24 of the lifting capsule 23, the doors 26 and 28 of the lifting capsule 23 and the combat vehicle 1 close.They set in motion the telescopic rods 18 and 20, the rotary and rotating mechanisms 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19 and the rotating turret 3 of the combat vehicle 1. As a result of these manipulations, the lifting capsule 23 with the landing force is moved over various obstacles (mined areas, vertical and horizontal fortifications, barbed wire barriers, rubble, water obstacles, etc.) to any necessary and accessible location of the enemy's field stronghold within the range of the lifting mast 6.

[0153] When moving the lifting capsule 23 to a certain location of the enemy's field stronghold for further landing, in case of the need for fire action against the enemy during such movement, the soldiers of the assault group conduct aimed fire at the enemy from their small arms through the embrasures 27 in the hull 24 of the lifting capsule 23. At the same time, to support the paratroopers, units of the Rifle and Missile Combat Vehicle (Fig. 1) and the Flamethrower Combat Vehicle (Fig. 2) conduct fire at the enemy from their closed positions.

[0154] After the lifting capsule 23 reaches the selected location of the enemy field strongpoint, the door 26 of the lifting capsule 23 opens, and the fighters of the allied assault group are parachuted from the capsule 23, for example, into the trenches of the strongpoint. After the landing is complete, the allied fighters begin the final clearing of permanent firing points (pillboxes), dugouts, rifle trenches, trenches, communication passages and other fortification and engineering structures of the strongpoint from enemy fighters and the arrangement of their own firing positions in suitable places of the field strongpoint and on the approaches to it.

[0155] After the allied fighters have secured the liberated field stronghold, the following allied units, together with units of the declared armored tracked or wheeled combat vehicle - the Rifle and Missile Combat Vehicle (Fig. 1), Flamethrower Combat Vehicle (Fig. 2) and Airborne Combat Vehicle (Fig. 3) - proceed to storm the next enemy stronghold in accordance with the described methods I or II.

[0156] III. The method of operation and combat use of the proposed invention for a field post of the allied troops, in areas outside populated areas, V relation

[0157] Some models of the declared armored tracked or wheeled combat vehicle are effectively used to defend all types of defense lines - tactical, operational, strategic.

[0158] As an option, from several suitable models of the declared combat vehicle, we will consider the use of a rifle and missile combat vehicle (Fig. 1) for the defense of a field strongpoint of allied troops (company strongpoint, battalion strongpoint, etc.), located in an area outside of populated areas, equipped in an engineering sense.

[0159] For reliable cover and effective combat work of a separate unit of the Infantry and Missile Combat Vehicle, the lifting mast 6 of which consists of a separate telescopic rod 9 (Fig. 1) or two telescopic rods - the lower 18 and the upper 20 (Fig. 2), it is advisable to use a vaulted, earth-covered capital reinforced concrete structure, similar to a long-term firing point (pillbox). Inside such a structure there is a room, the dimensions of which allow free placement of at least one unit of the Infantry and Missile Combat Vehicle. In the rear part of such a long-term protective structure with respect to the enemy there is an opening for the declared combat vehicle to drive into the structure and to drive back out of the structure.

[0160] In the upper reinforced concrete ceiling - the vault of the structure, there is an opening, the dimensions of which allow the lifting mast 6 with the lifting combat module 16 equipped on it to be unhindered and extended outward from the structure. At the same time, the said opening of the structure is equipped with a hermetically sealed armored cover for protection from enemy fire when the lifting mast 6 and the lifting combat module 16 are located inside the premises of such a long-term protective structure in the transport position (Fig. 1).

[0161] There may be several such long-term firing points for placing a separate unit of the Rifle and Missile Combat Vehicle so that combat vehicle 1 can freely change its firing position depending on the operational situation.

[0162] After installing a separate unit of the Rifle and Missile Combat Vehicle in a closed position in the premises of one of these long-term structures, the following actions are performed to bring it into combat readiness:

[0163] - Open (move) the hermetically sealed armored cover of the opening in the upper reinforced concrete ceiling - the vault of the structure.

[0164] - For the model of the Rifle and Missile Combat Vehicle, the lifting mast 6 of which consists of a separate telescopic rod 9 (Fig. 1), the rotating tower 3 is set in motion, as well as the turning and rotating mechanisms 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15. At the same time, the separate telescopic rod 9 is extended into the open opening in the upper reinforced concrete ceiling - the vault of the structure and extended to the required length, and then the lifting combat module 16 is turned towards the selected firing sector.

[0165] - For the model of the Rifle and Missile Combat Vehicle, the lifting mast 6 of which consists of two telescopic rods - the lower 18 and the upper 20 (Fig. 2), the rotating tower 3 is set in motion, as well as the turning and rotating mechanisms 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19. At the same time, the telescopic rods 18 and 20 are extended into the open opening in the upper reinforced concrete ceiling - the vault of the structure and moved apart to the required length, and then the lifting combat module 21 is turned towards the selected firing sector.

[0166] In this case, the combat vehicle 1, its rotating turret 3 and the lower part of the lifting mast 6, being located in the premises of such a long-term protective structure, remain naturally hidden and protected by a reinforced concrete ceiling - the vault of the structure. In between enemy attacks, including at night, the combat vehicle 1 placed in such a long-term structure extends its lifting mast 6 with the lifting combat module 16 equipped on it outside the structure for a short or long time. With the help of a remotely controlled sniper mount 17 - a high-precision small arms system equipped in the lifting combat module 16 and within its range of action, the following is carried out:

[0167] - non-stop effective fire impact on all enemy firing points;

[0168] - destruction of the most important, hidden or very remote enemy targets, such as ATGM and MANPADS crews, snipers, officers, spotters, small-sized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs);

[0169] - ensuring constant psychological pressure on the enemy, suppressing his fighting spirit and demoralization;

[0170] - prohibition for enemy personnel from crossing the neutral strip between the opposing sides;

[0171] - prohibition of movement to the enemy's location, back from such location, within such location of enemy personnel and material resources.

[0172] During an enemy attack, including at night, the above-mentioned combat work of the remotely controlled sniper installation 17 is joined by the missile launchers 7, also equipped on the lifting combat module 16. With the help of the missile launchers 7 and within their range of action, the following is carried out:

[0173] - destruction of long-term firing points (pillboxes) and other oppositely located enemy fortifications that support the enemy's offensive actions, equipped with monolithic or prefabricated reinforced concrete, stone on mortar, iron beams with reinforcement and armored coverings; - defeat of advancing and supporting attack tanks and other self-propelled armored targets of the enemy;

[0174] - destruction of helicopters, cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other enemy air targets, including at low and extremely low altitudes.

[0175] IV. Method of operation and combat application of the proposed invention for the prompt and protected collection of the wounded on the battlefield

[0176] This method uses the model of the declared combat vehicle - the Sanitary Armored Personnel Carrier (Fig. 3), which ensures the prompt and protected collection of the wounded on the battlefield, including from hard-to-reach places and at various elevations of structures and other terrain elements.

[0177] Accompaniment and cover of the Sanitary Armored Personnel Carrier at all stages of its movement and work on collecting the wounded in the combat zone is carried out, as an option, by one of several suitable models of the declared combat vehicle - the Rifle and Missile Combat Vehicle (Fig. 1).

[0178] Let's consider one of the many dangerous situations when the wounded find themselves in a mined area during combat. For example, soldiers were moving in an armored personnel carrier, which drove into an area mined with anti-tank and anti-personnel mines. The armored personnel carrier was blown up by a mine and lost the ability to move independently. Some of the soldiers who were in this armored personnel carrier were wounded during its explosion, and others were wounded by anti-personnel mines during the evacuation from the damaged armored personnel carrier. As a result, the entire group of wounded and uninjured soldiers, having left the disabled armored personnel carrier, found themselves blocked in a dangerous area: For some wounded soldiers, their physical condition does not allow them to get to a safe place on their own, and for others, wounded but still able to move soldiers, as well as for uninjured soldiers, there is a risk of being blown up by mines surrounding the group of soldiers when trying to move.The required number of units of Sanitary Armored Personnel Carriers, equipped with medical equipment and auxiliary means, with teams of medical instructors on board, are immediately dispatched to the site of medical losses.

[0179] At all stages of the movement of the Sanitary Armored Personnel Carriers to the place of medical losses and their work on the terrain to collect wounded and blocked fighters, the Sanitary Armored Personnel Carriers cover the Rifle and Missile Combat Vehicles from their closed positions. Such cover from these combat vehicles is carried out by retaliatory fire action on the enemy's firing points in the event of attempts from their side to shoot, throw grenades, launch missiles and other fire action on the Sanitary Armored Personnel Carriers, medical instructors, wounded and blocked fighters.

[0180] After the separate Sanitary armored personnel carrier has arrived at the location of the blockade of the specified group of fighters, it stops at the border of the mined area of the terrain. Since there may be some distance from the stopped Sanitary armored personnel carrier to the location of the wounded in the mined area of the terrain, the following actions are performed to evacuate the specified group of fighters:

[0181] The rotating tower 3 is set in motion, as well as the turning and rotating mechanisms 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19. At the same time, the telescopic rods 18 and 20 are extended to the required length. As a result of the listed manipulations, the lifting capsule 23 is moved and placed so that its door 26 is opposite the door 28 of the combat vehicle 1 (Fig. 3). The said doors 28 and 26 open, and the medical instructors move from the habitable compartment 29 of the combat vehicle 1 to the habitable compartment 25 of the lifting capsule 23. The medical instructors are placed in the habitable compartment 25 of the lifting capsule 23, the doors 26 and 28 of the lifting capsule 23 and the combat vehicle 1 are closed.

[0182] Telescopic rods 18 and 20, rotary and rotating mechanisms 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, rotating tower 3 are set in motion, and the lifting capsule 23 with medical instructors is moved by canopy to the necessary and accessible height mark of about 50 cm above the terrain level within the range of the lifting mast 6 in the immediate vicinity of the wounded soldier designated for evacuation.

[0183] It should be noted that the wounded are usually divided into three categories:

[0184] Category 1: Mildly injured casualties who are injured but can move independently or with little support.

[0185] Category 2: Wounded with moderate trauma - cannot move independently, but are conscious, and the severity of the injury allows transportation in any position.

[0186] Category 3: Severely injured - can only be carried in a certain position.

[0187] Open the door 26 of the lifting capsule 23 closest to the wounded man.

[0188] If the wounded person belongs to category 1, then he, independently or with a little support from medical instructors, moves through the open door 26 into the inside of the lifting capsule 23 into its habitable compartment 25.

[0189] If the wounded person belongs to category 2 or 3, then the medical instructors, using their own efforts and / or the equipment available in the lifting capsule 23 (a winch, a rope with a carabiner, a tactical medical stretcher, etc.), move the wounded person through the open door 26 into the inside of the lifting capsule 23 into its habitable compartment 25.

[0190] Similar actions are taken to extract the wounded directly from a downed vehicle. In this case, the lifting capsule 23 hovers over the open hatch or opening of the downed vehicle.

[0191] After the wounded person is completely placed in the habitable compartment 25 of the lifting capsule 23, the door 26 is closed. The rotating tower 3 is set in motion, as well as the turning and rotating mechanisms 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19. At the same time, the telescopic rods 18 and 20 are extended to the required length. As a result of the listed manipulations, the lifting capsule 23 is moved and placed so that its door 26 is opposite the door 28 of the combat vehicle 1 (Fig. 3). The specified doors 26 and 28 open, and the wounded person moves from the habitable compartment 25 of the lifting capsule 23 to the habitable compartment 29 of the combat vehicle 1. The medical instructors are again placed in the habitable compartment 25 of the lifting capsule 23, doors 26 and 28 of the lifting capsule 23 and the combat vehicle 1 are closed.

[0192] The above actions are performed as many times as necessary to evacuate all wounded and blocked fighters from a given area of terrain. If one Sanitary Armored Personnel Carrier is completely filled with wounded, but there are still several wounded and blocked fighters left in a given area of terrain, then another Sanitary Armored Personnel Carrier joins the evacuation actions described above. As the Sanitary Armored Personnel Carriers fill with wounded, they fold their lifting masts 6 and lifting capsules 23 into the transport position and immediately leave for the rear to the location of the medical station (medical company) of the regiment (brigade) in order to transfer the evacuated wounded there for urgent provision of qualified medical care to the wounded.

[0193] The present invention is industrially applicable, since it can be implemented using known technologies used in transport engineering.
