Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION A VIBRATORY FEEDER STRUCTURE

[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD

[0003] The invention relates to a feeder that allows products to be transmitted in an array for any process, irrespective of their size and geometry.

[0004] PRIOR ART

[0005] In the industrial food industry, vibratory feeding is a method used to feed materials automatically and in a regular manner. This method is widely used in industrial production lines, packaging, filling, feeding and other processes. Vibratory feeding works by conveying and arranging materials on a vibrating tray or hopper.

[0006] Application No. US2022380142A1 relates to a conveyor device for conveying packaged or unpackaged food products. The object of the invention is to create a system which enables conveying packaged or unpackaged food products with improved structure. The invention includes a conveyor unit including a conveyor belt, a guide element to guide the conveyor element, and a guide roller. The guide element is supported by means of a seat unit. The guide element and the conveyor unit can be rotated or tilted together. The side segments of the guide section are preferably supported by means of the bearing section so that they can be rotated or tilted relative to the frame section.

[0007] In the vibratory feeding systems used in the state of the art, the channels that enable conveying the products are designed specifically according to the geometry of the product to be conveyed. In order to properly arrange and feed products of different sizes and shapes, it is necessary to make time-consuming adjustments to the system or the need for a vibratory feeding system with a completely new design arises. This, along with problems such as halting of production, creates extra labor, loss of time and costs.

[0008] It is also an object of the prior art to advance products of various sizes and different geometries in the same vibration channel. However, in case of radical size changes in existing structures, optimum gaps between the product and the channel walls cannot be achieved. Examples of these designs are given in Figure 1 and Figure 2.

[0009] Figure 1 shows a representative front view of the products with various geometries positioned on the vibratory sheet used in the prior art in the feeder subject to the invention. In the vibration channel application, a structure in a sharp-cornered "U" form in which the base of the sheet is a "V" seat, while the side guides are obtained by bending upwards and are fixed is obtained. The products in the form of a circle sit in such a way that they touch tangentially to the two angled surfaces of the "V" seat. Rectangular products, on the other hand, sit parallel to the flat bases of the sharpcornered "U" shape.

[0010] Figure 2 shows another representative front view of the products with various geometries positioned on the vibratory sheet used in the prior art in the feeder subject to the invention. In the vibration channel application, a structure in "M" form in which the base of the sheet is a "V" seat, while the sides are obtained by bending downwards and are unguided is obtained. The circular products sit tangentially to the two angled surfaces of the “V” seat. In rectangular products, however, it sits in such a way that one edge of the product touches one side of the "V" seat and the other edge of the product touches the other side of the "V" seat linearly. In this structure, the circular products stand parallel, while the rectangular products are angled by matching the "V" seat. It serves the circle and rectangular product with a common channel design. The fact that it has a guideless design brings a great advantage to this technique in terms of ease of preparation during passage of products. It reduces the guide preparation time and preparation labor to zero during passage of product. However, the biggest problem with this technique is that the products reach the vibrating channel sheets by traveling on a belt conveyor located parallel to the ground. At this point, the products cannot leave the belt conveyor and pass directly to the "V" base seat on the vibratory channel. In order to ensure the passage, a spacer with a special form is used between the belt conveyor and the vibratory channel, which makes the products parallel to the "V" base by rotating and tilting them. This causes the products to twist and enter the channel and thus reach the portioning machine. In this case, the face surface of the products lined up in front of the portioning machine and the surface of the portioning machine elements are not parallel to each other and an angle is formed therebetween. As a result of the formation of angles, it causes the portioning machine performance and portion quality to deteriorate.

[0011] Therefore, the products in the mentioned prior art designs lose their orientation in the channel, causing disruption to the chain, rotation in the channel, jamming of the channel, deterioration of portioning performance, loss of production and rejects. In order to avoid such a situation, more than one channel sheet in the same form but with different guide distances should be manufactured and kept ready. During the passage of product, the existing channel sheets should be removed and replaced with the most suitable channel sheets according to the product. This method brings with it the production and stocking of hundreds of duct sheets, while at the same time increases the preparation time and preparation labor during the passage of product.

[0012] As a result, all the above-mentioned problems have made it imperative to make an innovation in the relevant technical field.

[0042] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0043] In this detailed description, the feeder (10) subject to the invention is explained by way of example only for a better understanding of the subject, which shall not create any limiting effect.

[0044] The feeder (10) subject to the invention, enables the transmission of the products (70) by adjusting them quickly and easily, without requiring any assembly and disassembly regarding the products (70) that differ from each other in terms of size and geometry. The feeder comprises at least one body (20). Said body (20) is essentially a frame on which the elements that will perform the operation are located. The body is configured so that its height from the ground can be adjusted.

[0045] The feeder comprises at least one guide group (40). Said guide group (40) is connected so that it is located on the body (20). In order to achieve this, it includes at least one primary bearing element (434). The primary bearing element (434) is mounted on the body (20), connecting the guide group (40) to the body (20) in a fixed manner.

[0046] The guide group (40) is essentially the structure that guides the products (70) and ensures that the products (70) are transmitted in the desired direction. In order to achieve this, the guide group (40) includes at least one orientation group (41). Said orientation group (41) consists of at least one primary guide element (411) and at least one secondary guide element (412). Said primary guide element (411) and said secondary guide element (412) are positioned opposite each other in the direction of the y-axis (y). The primary (411) and secondary guide element (412) are partially an I- shaped profile. Thus, at least one transmission channel (I) is created between the primary guide element (411) and the secondary guide element (412). Furthermore, the distance between the primary (411 ) and secondary guide elements (412) in the direction of the x-axis (x) is also the distance between guides (II). Said transmission channel (I) is essentially a groove through which products (70) are transmitted. In this way, the products (70) can enter between the primary (411) and secondary guide element (412). In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the orientation group (41) is multiple. Therefore, depending on the size of the production, the feeder (10) capacity can be increased in order to feed the products (70) faster.

[0047] The primary guide element (411) comprises at least one suspension point (413). Said suspension point (413) is essentially a hole. Likewise, secondary guide element (412) comprises at least one suspension point (413). The suspension point (413) is configured to be concentric in the x-axis (x) direction on the oppositely positioned primary (411 ) and secondary guide elements (412). In the preferred embodiment of the invention, there are two suspension points (413) on each primary (411) and secondary guide elements (412).

[0048] The guide group (40) comprises at least one shaft group (43). Said shaft group (43) comprises at least one primary shaft (431 ) and at least one secondary shaft (432). Said primary shaft (431) and secondary shaft (432) are essentially ball screws. The primary shaft (431 ) connects all the primary guide elements (411) to each other by passing through the suspension points (413) on the multiple primary guide elements (411 ) that make up the guide group (40). In other words, in the x-axis (x) direction the primary shaft (431 ) passes the suspension point (413) located on the multiple primary guide elements (411 ) existing in parallels in the y-axis (y) direction. In the same way, the secondary shaft (432) is also connected to the secondary guide elements (412) by passing in the x-axis (x) direction the suspension point (413) located on the multiple secondary guide elements (412) located in parallels in the y-axis (y) direction. To make it even clearer, the primary shaft (431) composing the shaft group (43) passes only through the suspension points (413) on the multiple adjacently arranged primary guide elements (411), and the secondary shaft (432) passes only through the suspension points (413) on the multiple adjacently arranged secondary guide elements (412).

[0049] The primary bearing element (434) connecting the body (20) with the guide group (40) comprises at least one ball bearing. The primary bearing element (434) is located on at least one end of the primary shaft (431) and secondary shaft (432). Therefore, the primary shaft (431) and the secondary shaft (432) are mounted by passing them through the ball bearings within the primary bearing elements (434) from both ends such that they have the freedom to rotate on their own axis. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the primary bearing element (434) is configured at both ends of the primary and secondary shaft (432).

[0050] The shaft group (43) comprises at least one adjustment mechanism (435). Said adjustment mechanism (435) is connected to at least one of the primary shafts (431 ) or secondary shafts (432). In the preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided on at least one end of the primary shaft (431). In alternative embodiments, it can be provided on the secondary shaft (432) or both shafts. The adjustment mechanism (435) is essentially a handwheel. With manual rotation, rotational movement is provided to the primary shaft (431 ). In alternative embodiments, it can be driven by drive systems such as electric motors.

[0051] The guide group (40) comprises at least one movement transmission mechanism (433). Said movement transmission mechanism (433) is configured on at least one end of the shaft group (43). The movement transmission mechanism (433) is essentially a spur gear. The movement transmission mechanism (433) comprises two gears connected to the primary shaft (431) and the secondary shaft (432). Thus, the primary shaft (431 ) driven by the adjustment mechanism (435) is able to transfer the rotation movement to the secondary shaft (432).

[0052] The guide group (40) comprises at least one fixing element (42) for ensuring that the shaft group (43) is fixed to the orientation group (41). Said fixing element (42) is fixed to the primary guide element (411 ) and secondary guide element (412) by means of the fastener (60). The fastener (42) is essentially a flange nut. Therefore, it fixes the primary guide (411 ) and secondary guide element (412) on the primary shaft (431) and secondary shaft (432). Thus, after the orientation group (41) is passed from the suspension point (413) to the shaft group (43) and brought to the desired position, it is fixed with the fastener (42). In this way, the primary guide (411 ) and secondary guide element (412) remain as supported in bearings on the shaft according to the changed product (70) size, while the distance between guides (II) can be adjusted with the movement of the adjustment mechanism (435) and the shaft group (43). In the preferred embodiment of the invention, there are two shaft groups (43). However, as the size of the guide group (40) increase depending on the production line, the shaft group (43) can also be configured in multiple numbers.

[0053] The shaft group (43) comprises at least one transfer group (436). The transfer group (436) is configured to transmit the movement from the adjustment mechanism (435) to at least one other shaft group (43) due to the large number of shaft groups (43). In this way, multiple shaft groups (43) can be driven. The transfer group (436) is essentially a belt-pulley mechanism. It comprises at least one secondary transfer group (436) to ensure the fixation of the transfer group (436) and freedom of rotation.

[0054] With this structure, as a result of the drive provided by the adjustment mechanism (435), the primary guide element (411) can move in the direction of the +x-axis (+x), while the secondary guide element (412) can simultaneously move in the direction of the -x-axis (-x) and lessen the distance between guides (II). When the adjustment mechanism (435) is rotated in the opposite direction, the distance between guides (II) expands.

[0055] The feeder (10) contains at least one vibrator (30) which is the source of vibration. Said vibrator (30) is essentially an electromagnetic vibrator (30). In the alternative embodiment of the invention, it can be an air or electric vibrator (30). The vibrator (30) transmits the vibration it creates to the vibratory sheet (50). The vibrator (30) comprises at least one table (32) that allows changing the position of the vibrator (30) in connection with the body (20). The vibrator (30) comprises at least one insulator (31 ) that is connected to the table (32). Therefore, the transmission of vibration to the body (20) is prevented and thus the guide group (40) connected to the body (20) is prevented from being exposed to vibration. Furthermore, the table (32) is configured so that its angle relative to the ground can be adjusted in order to adjust the transmission speed of the products (70).

[0056] The feeder comprises at least one vibratory sheet (70) which ensures the transmission of products (50). Said vibratory sheet (50) is essentially a partially U-shaped profile. The vibratory sheet is mounted and fixed to the vibrator (30) using the fastener (60) by means of the mounting holes. Herein, the vibratory sheet (50) is positioned in such a way that it does not come into contact with the primary (411) and secondary guide element (412) at the distance (II) between primary (411) and secondary guide element (412). That is, the distance between primary (411 ) the secondary guide element (412) and the vibratory sheet (50) is the clearance distance (III). With the angle adjustment of the table (32), the clearance distance (III) can also be changed. The vibratory sheet (50) is positioned in the direction of the y-axis (y), as is the transmission channel (I) and thus the primary (411 ) and secondary guide elements (412). The vibratory sheet (50) comprises at least one carrier surface (51) on which products (70) are conveyed. The vibratory sheet (50) comprises at least one carrier surface (51) on which products (70) are conveyed. Said carrier surface (51 ) comprises at least one partially semicircular form (52). Products with circular geometry (70) are transmitted by means of said partial semicircular form (52). Products with rectangular geometry (70) are transmitted by the semicircular form (52) and the remaining part of the carrier surface (51 ). With this structure of the vibratory sheet (50), products (70) that differ from each other in terms of size and geometry can be advanced on the same transmission channel (I) without the need for any disassembly, installation and mounting. As mentioned above, the vibratory sheet (50) is configured so that it does not come into contact with the guide group (40). In this way, the movement of the primary (411 ) and secondary guide elements (412) moving in the direction of the x-axis (x) is not restricted. Furthermore, the transmission of vibration on the vibratory sheet (50) to the primary guide element (411 ) and the secondary guide element (412) is prevented. Thus, the primary (411 ) and secondary guide elements (412) become independent of the transmission channel (I) and the optimum distance between guides (II) can be achieved by adjustment according to the respective product (70) without the need for any disassembly and installation.

[0057] In the light of all of the described, the invention operates as follows: Irrespective of the size, in order to carry out the feeding of the products (70) for any process, it is necessary to adjust the distance between guides (II), which is the width of the transmission channel (I) through which the products (70) are transmitted. In order to achieve this, the adjustment mechanism (435), i.e. the handwheel, is manually rotated by the operator. The primary shaft (431) and the secondary shaft (432) are connected by the movement transmission mechanism (433), i.e. the spur gear group. The rotation movement from the adjustment mechanism (435) is transmitted to the primary shaft (431 ) and to the secondary shaft (432) by the movement transmission mechanism (433). In the meantime, the primary guide element (411) and secondary guide element (412) in connection with the primary (431 ) and secondary shaft (432) can move in the x-axis (x) with the help of the fixing element (42), i.e. the flange nut. In this way, the distance between guides (II) can be increased or decreased. In order to ensure that the product (70) is conveyed irrespective of the geometry thereof, vibratory sheet (50) is used. The vibratory sheet (50) is positioned in the direction of the transmission channel (I) in line with the primary (411) and secondary guide elements (412). An electromagnetic vibrator (30) is used to ensure that the products (70) are transmitted with the help of vibration of the vibratory sheet. Since the vibratory sheet comprises a semicircular form (52) on the carrier surface (51), circular products (70) can be fixed, and products with rectangular geometry (70) can be transmitted by means of the remaining flat parts. The vibrator comprises an insulator (31) to prevent vibration from being transmitted to the body (20).

[0058] Therefore, the feeder (10), which does not require any segment replacement or addition, prevents the products (70) from being twisted and advancing in a twisted form, enables the optimum distance between guides (II) adjustment according to the size of the product (70) to be made quickly and from a single point without a switch, and enables the smooth transmission of the products (70) irrespective of their geometry by means of the vibratory sheet (50), is provided.

[0059] The scope of protection of the invention is specified in the appended claims and cannot be limited to what is described for illustrative purposes in this detailed description. Likewise, it is clear that a person skilled in the art can present similar embodiments in the light of the above, without departing from the main theme of the invention.
