Abstract
Description
Floor traffic lights and their operating methods
[0001] The present invention relates to a floor signal light, which displays a signal using light emission on the floor surface of the edge of a crosswalk, operates or de-operates the floor signal light according to a set time or detection of a pedestrian attempting to cross the crosswalk and determination of whether the pedestrian is attempting to cross the crosswalk, and helps crosswalk users, such as smartphone users, to identify the pedestrian signal light.
[0002] The present invention relates to a floor signal light, and to a floor signal light that displays a signal by using light emission from the bottom surface of the edge of a crosswalk. A pedestrian signal light generally installed on a crosswalk is a device that signals pedestrians to safely cross the roadway, and is usually installed on pillars on both sides of the crosswalk, and uses a green signal and a red signal, which are pedestrian signals, to enable pedestrians to cross the roadway or wait.
[0003] In other words, pedestrians cross the crosswalk by checking the pedestrian signal light installed on the pole on the other side outside the safety line adjacent to the crosswalk. At this time, it may be difficult for people with low vision and the elderly to recognize the pedestrian signal light on the other side. In addition, when large vehicles such as trucks stop close to the crosswalk, the pedestrian signal light on the other side cannot be seen, which is inconvenient. In addition, when pedestrians are using their smartphones while waiting for the signal, they cannot check the pedestrian signal light on the other side, which is inconvenient.
[0004] To solve this problem, if we look at Republic of Korea Public Utility Model Publication No. 20-2013-0005542, light-up paving blocks are installed on crosswalks in conjunction with pedestrian traffic lights, so that pedestrians trying to cross the crosswalk can check whether the pedestrian traffic light is green or red through the light-up paving blocks installed on the ground.
[0005] However, Public Utility Model Publication No. 20-2013-0005542 has a floor signal light that operates 24 hours a day in conjunction with a pedestrian signal light, so even when there are no pedestrians trying to cross the crosswalk, such as late at night, the floor signal light operates 24 hours a day, which causes power waste and shortens the lifespan of the LED, the light-emitting element of the floor signal light.
[0006] Also, if you look at Patent Registration No. 10-1956122, it is not a floor signal, which is the technical field of the present invention, but a signal light installed on a pillar on the other side. However, if you look at Claim 7, it is disclosed as a 'crosswalk pedestrian traffic signal control system that schedules a pedestrian signal by setting the pedestrian signal cycle including the pedestrian waiting time, the pedestrian signal time, and the pedestrian flashing time according to the service level corresponding to the pattern at a specific time period when the pattern is formed when the number of pedestrians and the service level form a certain pattern among daily time period, day of the week, holidays and public holidays, month, and season based on pedestrian output information for each crosswalk'. However, Patent Registration No. 10-1956122 only adjusts the signal cycle of the pedestrian signal light, that is, the time of signal change, and has a problem in that it cannot prevent power waste, which is the purpose of the present invention.
[0007] An alternative is required to prevent power waste and shorten the lifespan of the LED in the floor signal lights by determining whether a person is attempting to cross the crosswalk late at night or not and not supplying power to the floor signal lights when there are no pedestrians attempting to cross the crosswalk, and only supplying power during the day or when there are pedestrians attempting to cross the crosswalk.
[0008] The floor signal light according to one embodiment of the present invention solves the problems of the floor signal light installed on the floor surface used in the past and provides a floor signal light of a new concept different from the conventional floor signal light.
[0009] When a pedestrian attempting to cross the crosswalk is detected through the pedestrian detection unit and the crossing / pedestrian judgment unit or the time setting unit, the floor signal light should be activated. When no pedestrian is detected or no one is attempting to cross the crosswalk, the floor signal light should not be activated.
[0010] In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, according to one embodiment of the present invention, a floor signal light is a floor signal light that displays a signal on the floor surface of the edge of a crosswalk, and includes a time setting unit for controlling the operation of the floor signal light according to a set time zone; and a control unit for controlling the floor signal light according to the time zone set in the time setting unit, or controlling the floor signal light according to the judgment of a crossing / pedestrian judgment unit regarding a person around the crosswalk;
[0011] The above time setting section is a first time setting that makes the floor signal light glow more strongly than at night so that the signal display of the floor signal light can be clearly seen in direct sunlight during the set time zone, which is the daytime.
[0012] A second time setting that makes the floor signal light glow weaker than the time set in the first time setting to prevent glare during the set time zone, which is nighttime.
[0013] The third time setting allows the floor signal lights to operate outside of the set time zone of late night.
[0014] The fourth time setting is to prevent the floor signal lights from operating during the set time zone of late night to prevent power waste during late night.
[0015] The control unit controls the light emission of the floor signal light to be stronger than the light emission state at night during the daytime, which is the time zone set in the first time setting of the time setting unit, and controls the light emission of the floor signal light to be weaker than the light emission state at the time zone set in the first time setting, during the nighttime, which is the time zone set in the second time setting of the time setting unit.
[0016] In the time zone set in the third time setting of the above time setting section, the floor signal light is to be operated, and in the time zone set in the fourth time setting of the above time setting section, the floor signal light is to not be operated, or
[0017] Or, if a pedestrian is not detected by the pedestrian detection unit during the time period set in the fourth time setting of the time setting unit, the floor signal light is not operated, and if a pedestrian is detected by the pedestrian detection unit, the floor signal light is operated.
[0018] Or, in the case where a pedestrian is detected by the pedestrian detection unit in the time zone set in the fourth time setting of the time setting unit, the first judgment of the crossing / pedestrian judgment unit is that if the pedestrian moves a certain amount of time within a certain period of time around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person walking on the sidewalk, and if the pedestrian does not move a certain amount of time within a certain period of time around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person attempting to cross the crosswalk.
[0019] If a pedestrian is in the second detection zone around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged as a person walking on the sidewalk. If a pedestrian is in the first detection zone around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the second judgment is made that the pedestrian is judged as a person trying to cross the crosswalk.
[0020] The third judgment is that if a pedestrian's front is facing the first or third direction near the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person attempting to cross the crosswalk, and if a pedestrian's front is facing the second, fourth, or fifth direction near the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person walking on the sidewalk.
[0021] If a pedestrian is moving in the third direction around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be attempting to cross the crosswalk. If a pedestrian is moving in any of the second, fourth, or fifth directions around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be walking on the sidewalk. The fourth judgment is made.
[0022] If a pedestrian's arms are swinging back and forth in the second or fourth direction or the pedestrian's legs are spread out back and forth around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person walking on the sidewalk, and if the pedestrian's arms are in an attention posture or the pedestrian's legs are spread out to the side or the pedestrian's legs are in an eleven-shape, the pedestrian is judged to be a person trying to cross the crosswalk. If at least one of the five judgments is made to determine that the pedestrian is continuing to pass on the sidewalk, the floor signal light is not operated, and if the pedestrian is judged to be a person trying to cross the crosswalk, the floor signal light is operated.
[0023] In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, according to one embodiment of the present invention, a floor signal light is a floor signal light that displays a signal on the floor surface of the edge of a crosswalk, and includes: a time setting unit for controlling the operation of the floor signal light according to a set time zone; and a light detection unit for distinguishing between day and night in a place where the floor signal light is installed; and a control unit for controlling the floor signal light according to the time set in the time setting unit, or controlling the floor signal light according to the light detected by the light detection unit.
[0024] The above time setting section is composed of a first time setting that enables the floor signal light to operate outside of the set time zone, which is the late-night time; and a second time setting that prevents the floor signal light from operating during the set time zone, which is the late-night time, to prevent power waste during the late-night time.
[0025] The control unit controls the light emission of the floor signal light to be stronger than the light emission state at night when the light intensity detected by the light intensity detection unit is above a certain level, and controls the light emission of the floor signal light to be weaker than the light emission state when the light intensity detected by the light intensity detection unit is below a certain level.
[0026] In the time zone set in the first time setting of the above time setting section, the floor signal light is controlled to operate, and in the time zone set in the second time setting of the above time setting section, the floor signal light is controlled not to operate,
[0027] Or, if a pedestrian is not detected by the pedestrian detection unit during the late night time, which is the time zone set in the second time setting of the time setting unit, the floor signal light is controlled to not operate, and if a pedestrian is detected by the pedestrian detection unit, the floor signal light is controlled to operate.
[0028] Or, in the case where a pedestrian is detected by the pedestrian detection unit during the late-night time period set in the second time setting of the time setting unit, the first judgment of the crossing / pedestrian judgment unit regarding a person near the crosswalk is that if the pedestrian moves a certain amount of time within a certain period of time around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person walking on the sidewalk, and if the pedestrian does not move a certain amount of time within a certain period of time around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person trying to cross the crosswalk.
[0029] If a pedestrian is in the second detection zone around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged as a person walking on the sidewalk. If a pedestrian is in the first detection zone around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the second judgment is made that the pedestrian is judged as a person trying to cross the crosswalk.
[0030] The third judgment is that if a pedestrian's front is facing the first or third direction near the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person attempting to cross the crosswalk, and if a pedestrian's front is facing the second, fourth, or fifth direction near the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person walking on the sidewalk.
[0031] If a pedestrian is moving in the third direction around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be attempting to cross the crosswalk. If a pedestrian is moving in any of the second, fourth, or fifth directions around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be walking on the sidewalk. The fourth judgment is made.
[0032] If a pedestrian's arms are swinging back and forth in the second or fourth direction or the pedestrian's legs are spread out back and forth around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person walking on the sidewalk, and if a pedestrian's arms are in an attention posture or the pedestrian's legs are spread out to the side or the pedestrian's legs are in an eleven-shape around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person trying to cross the crosswalk. If any one or more of the fifth judgments determine that the pedestrian is a person walking on the sidewalk, the floor signal light is controlled not to operate, and if the pedestrian is judged to be a person trying to cross the crosswalk, the floor signal light is controlled to operate.
[0033] In addition, a floor signal light according to one embodiment of the present invention further includes a time setting check unit that checks whether the first time setting, the second time setting, the third time setting, and the fourth time setting are normally set in the time setting unit; and, if the time setting check unit checks that the time setting is not normally set, a message output unit that notifies via voice or text that the time setting should be set is further included.
[0034] In addition, a floor signal light according to one embodiment of the present invention is characterized in that it further includes a time setting correction unit that corrects the time setting if the time setting check unit checks that the time setting is not set normally.
[0035] In addition, a floor signal light according to one embodiment of the present invention further includes a light setting unit that sets the light intensity for the light detection unit to detect the corresponding light intensity; and the light setting unit is characterized in that it is composed of a first light intensity setting for distinguishing between day and night and a second light intensity setting for distinguishing between day and night.
[0036] In addition, the floor signal light according to one embodiment of the present invention is characterized in that, when the pedestrian detection unit detects a pedestrian and then releases the detection, the floor signal light operates for a certain period of time after the release of the detection, and the floor signal light does not operate after the certain period of time.
[0037] In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, a floor signal light operating method according to one embodiment of the present invention is a floor signal light operating method that displays a signal on the floor surface of the edge of a crosswalk,
[0038] a) A step of setting a time in a time setting section, performing a first time setting to make the floor signal light glow stronger than at night in order to clearly display the signal display of the floor signal light in direct sunlight during the set time period, which is the daytime, a second time setting to make the floor signal light glow weaker than at the time period set in the first time setting to prevent glare during the set time period, which is the nighttime, a third time setting to make the floor signal light operate outside of the set time period, which is the late-night time, and a fourth time setting to make the floor signal light not operate during the set time period, which is the late-night time, to prevent power waste;
[0039] b) A step in which the control unit controls the lighting of the floor signal light to be stronger than the lighting state at night during the daytime, which is the time zone set in the first time setting of the time setting unit;
[0040] c) A step in which the control unit controls the lighting of the floor signal light to be weaker than the lighting of the time zone set in the first time zone during the night, which is the time zone set in the second time zone setting of the time setting unit;
[0041] d) A step for controlling the control unit to operate the floor signal light during the time zone set in the third time setting of the time setting unit;
[0042] e) The control unit prevents the floor signal light from operating during the time period set in the fourth time setting of the above time setting unit, or
[0043] Or, if a pedestrian is not detected by the pedestrian detection unit during the late night time, which is the time zone set in the fourth time setting of the time setting unit, the floor signal light is not operated, and if a pedestrian is detected by the pedestrian detection unit, the floor signal light is operated, or
[0044] Or, in the case where a pedestrian is detected by the pedestrian detection unit during the late-night time zone set in the fourth time setting of the time setting unit, the first judgment of the crossing / pedestrian judgment unit regarding a person near the crosswalk is that if the pedestrian moves a certain amount of time within a certain period of time around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person walking on the sidewalk, and if the pedestrian does not move a certain amount of time within a certain period of time around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person trying to cross the crosswalk.
[0045] If a pedestrian is in the second detection zone around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged as a person walking on the sidewalk. If a pedestrian is in the first detection zone around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the second judgment is made that the pedestrian is judged as a person trying to cross the crosswalk.
[0046] The third judgment is that if a pedestrian's front is facing the first or third direction near the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person attempting to cross the crosswalk, and if a pedestrian's front is facing the second, fourth, or fifth direction near the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be a person walking on the sidewalk.
[0047] If a pedestrian is moving in the third direction around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be attempting to cross the crosswalk. If a pedestrian is moving in any of the second, fourth, or fifth directions around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, the pedestrian is judged to be walking on the sidewalk. The fourth judgment is made.
[0048] The method is characterized by including a step of determining whether a pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk if the pedestrian's arms are swinging back and forth in the second or fourth direction or the pedestrian's legs are spread out back and forth around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, or whether the pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk if the pedestrian's arms are in an attention posture or the pedestrian's legs are spread out to the side or the pedestrian's legs are in an eleven-shape around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, or whether the pedestrian is attempting to cross the crosswalk, if at least one of the fifth judgments determines that the pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk, the floor signal light is not operated, and if the pedestrian is determined to be attempting to cross the crosswalk, the floor signal light is operated.
[0049] According to an embodiment of the present invention, a floor signal light adjusts the brightness of the floor signal light during the day and at night through the first time setting, the second time setting, the third time setting, and the fourth time setting, and operates the floor signal light when a pedestrian attempting to cross a crosswalk is detected through the time setting unit or the pedestrian detection unit and the crossing / pedestrian determination unit during late night hours, etc., and does not operate the floor signal light when a pedestrian attempting to cross a crosswalk is not detected or at a time other than the time setting, thereby reducing electricity costs and extending the life of the LED, which is the light-emitting part of the floor signal light, so that there is an expected effect of reducing the budget and an expected effect of efficient floor signal light operation.

[0061] The technical configuration and resulting operational effects of the present invention will be more clearly understood when described with reference to the drawings attached to the specification of the present invention. Below, a floor signal light operating based on pedestrian detection according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
[0062] However, when describing in detail a preferred embodiment of the present invention, if it is determined that a specific description of a related known function or configuration may unnecessarily obscure the gist of the present invention, the detailed description is omitted.
[0063] Additionally, throughout the specification, when we say that a part is 'connected' to another part, this includes not only cases where it is 'directly connected', but also cases where it is 'indirectly connected' with other elements in between.
[0064] The described embodiments are provided to enable those skilled in the art to easily understand the technical idea of the present invention, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In addition, the matters shown in the attached drawings are schematic drawings for easily explaining the embodiments of the present invention, and may differ from the form actually implemented.
[0065] Meanwhile, the expression 'including' certain components simply refers to the existence of those components as 'open expressions' and should not be understood as excluding additional components.
[0066] Additionally, although terms such as 'first, second, third, etc.' may be used to describe various components, these terms are used only for the purpose of distinguishing one component from other components, and the properties of the components are not limited by these terms.
[0067] Hereinafter, with reference to the attached drawings, examples of floor signal lights linked to pedestrian signal lights according to the present invention will be examined in detail.
[0068] In the present invention, the 'housing (11)' refers to a kind of square box, i.e. a case made of a hard material, and the upper part of the case is transparent, and a lid is formed on the upper part, lower part, or side.
[0069] In the present invention, the 'signal display unit (20)' refers to a PCB made of a type of LED that is installed in a housing and displays red, green, and green flashing lights in conjunction with a pedestrian signal light. In the present invention, the LED light source is formed to directly emit light into the pedestrian's field of vision rather than indirect light.
[0070] Figure 1 is a block diagram of a floor signal light according to an embodiment of the present invention, Figure 2 is a perspective view of a floor signal light according to an embodiment of the present invention, Figure 3 is an exploded view of a floor signal light according to an embodiment of the present invention, and Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view from Figure 2 A to B according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0071] Looking at Figure 1, the pedestrian signal light (50) is operated according to the control of the existing pedestrian signal light control unit (53), and when the pedestrian signal light detection unit (54) detects the signal status of the pedestrian signal light (50) and transmits the information to the control unit (60), the control unit (60) controls the floor signal light (10) according to the signal of the pedestrian signal light (50).
[0072] In addition, as shown in Fig. 5, the pedestrian detection unit (55) detects whether there is a person trying to cross the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection area (55-1), and the pedestrian detection unit (55) determines whether the pedestrian detected by the pedestrian detection unit (55) is a person trying to cross the crosswalk or a person walking on the sidewalk, and transmits the signal to the control unit (60), and the control unit (60) supplies or cuts off power to the floor signal light (10) through the power on / off unit (70).
[0073] In the present invention, when a pedestrian is not detected by the pedestrian detection unit (55), the control unit (60) cuts off power to the floor signal light (10) through the power on / off unit (70) at a time period set in the time setting unit (56) or a time period set in the season setting unit (57), and power supply to the floor signal light (10) is cut off only at the time period set in the time setting unit (56).
[0074] In addition, the illuminance detection unit (58) of the present invention detects illuminance in direct sunlight, illuminance in a shaded state, and illuminance at night, and the illuminance detection unit (58) supplies strong power to the floor signal light when the illuminance is in direct sunlight, and supplies weak power to the floor signal light when the illuminance is at night, thereby controlling the brightness of the floor signal light.
[0075] In the present invention, the pedestrian detection unit (55) may have various detection methods such as infrared detection (55a), image detection (55b), distance detection (55c), vertical detection (55d), and horizontal detection (55e), and all devices and methods for detecting whether a pedestrian is present in the pedestrian detection area (55-1) may be considered to correspond to the pedestrian detection unit of the present invention.
[0076] In addition, setting the time in the time setting section (56) can be done by setting the time when installing the floor signal light on site or by specifying the time during the product manufacturing process and delivering it.
[0077] Regardless of how the time is set or specified, if power is supplied or cut off to the floor signal light only at a desired time depending on whether a pedestrian is detected, it can be said that the time setting unit in the present invention is self-evident.
[0078] The operation of the floor signal light or its inoperability can be achieved by controlling a type of switch, which is a power on / off unit (70), by the control unit (60) to supply power to the floor signal light through the power on / off unit (70) when the floor signal light is to be operated, and by cutting off the power supply to the floor signal light through the power on / off unit (70) when the floor signal light is to be prevented from being operated.
[0079] In addition, if the floor signal light installed on site is operated so that it glows strongly during a certain period of time, i.e. during the day, glows weakly during a certain period of time, i.e. at night, and operates during a certain period of time, i.e. outside of the daytime and late-night hours, and does not operate during a certain period of time, i.e. late-night hours, it is obvious that it is operated by being composed of the first time setting, the second time setting, the third time setting, and the fourth time setting, which are the components of the present invention.
[0080] In addition, the present invention sets each function for normal operation of the floor signal light, and in particular, the first time setting (56a), the second time setting (56b) or the first time setting (56-1), the second time setting (56-2), the third time setting (56-3), and the fourth time setting (56-4) must be set normally in the time setting unit (56), but a time setting check unit (56-5) that checks whether normal time setting has been done before completing the setting of each function will be further required.
[0081] If any of the first time setting (56a), second time setting (56b) or the first time setting (56-1), second time setting (56-2), third time setting (56-3), and fourth time setting (56-4) is not set, a message output unit (56-6) that notifies the user to set the time through voice or text will be required.
[0082] In addition, even if the first time setting (56a), the second time setting (56b) or the first time setting (56-1), the second time setting (56-2), the third time setting (56-3), and the fourth time setting (56-4) are set, if the time setting is incorrect, that is, in the case of the second time setting (56-2), if it is a normal second time setting, the time zone when darkness begins after sunset should be set, but the time before sunset is set, or in the case of the fourth time setting (56-4), if it is set at a time zone when there are no pedestrians, such as late at night, but is set at a time when there is a lot of pedestrian traffic, such as 8 PM, this means that the time setting is incorrect, and a time setting correction unit (56-7) may be further required to correct it.
[0083] In addition, if the time setting is incorrect, the message output unit (56-6) should notify this, and the time setting check unit (56-5) can check for incorrect time setting instead of the time setting correction unit (56-7).
[0084] If the floor signal lights are operated according to pedestrian detection as described above, the budget will be reduced by approximately 40% due to electricity cost savings and extended LED lifespan.
[0085] Looking at FIGS. 2 to 4, a signal display unit (20) is formed as shown in FIG. 3 inside a square box-shaped housing (11) formed to be longer than a certain length as shown in FIG. 2, and the signal display unit (20) is a type of LED PCB, and the walk and stop signals are operated according to the signal of the signal display unit (20). A plurality of floor signal lights (10) as shown in FIG. 2 are extended and connected, and installed on the floor surface (32) on both sides of the edge (31) of the crosswalk (30) as shown in FIG. 5 to operate in conjunction with the pedestrian signal light (50).
[0086] FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram of a red signal of a floor signal light installed on site according to an embodiment of the present invention. Looking at FIG. 5, when a pedestrian trying to cross a crosswalk is detected by a pedestrian detection unit (55) as shown in FIG. 5, when the pedestrian signal light (50) changes to a red signal (51), the signal display of the floor signal light (10) also changes to a red signal (51) display, and when the pedestrian signal light (50) changes to a green signal (52), the signal display of the floor signal light (10) also changes to a green signal (52) display, and when the pedestrian signal light (50) flashes green, the floor signal light (10) also changes to a green flashing signal.
[0087] FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram for explaining how to determine whether a person is trying to cross a crosswalk or walking on a sidewalk with a floor signal light installed on site according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 6 with reference to FIG. 1,
[0088] When the pedestrian detection unit (55) detects a pedestrian (59a)(59b) in the pedestrian detection area (55-1), the crossing / pedestrian judgment unit (59) determines whether the pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk or trying to cross the crosswalk. If the pedestrian moves a certain amount of time within a certain period of time, the pedestrian is determined to be walking on the sidewalk (59b), and if the pedestrian does not move a certain amount of time within a certain period of time, the pedestrian is determined to be trying to cross the crosswalk (59a).
[0089] In other words, if a pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk instead of crossing the crosswalk (59b), he or she must continue walking, so there will be a certain amount of movement within a certain period of time. In this case, the certain amount of time means about 2 to 3 seconds. If a pedestrian is trying to cross the crosswalk (59a), he or she must stand while waiting for the signal, so there will be no movement beyond a certain amount of time, such as at least 2 to 3 seconds.
[0090] The above 'movement exceeding a certain amount' refers to the movement of a pedestrian when walking, and it can be said that a pedestrian moving his or her body slightly while standing and waiting for a signal does not fall under the above movement exceeding a certain amount.
[0091] FIG. 7 is a schematic diagram for explaining another method for determining whether a person is trying to cross a crosswalk or walking on a sidewalk with a floor signal light installed on site according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 7 with reference to FIG. 1,
[0092] In order to determine whether a pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk or trying to cross the crosswalk, the pedestrian detection zone (55-1) is divided into a first detection zone (55-2) and a second detection zone (55-3), and when the pedestrian detection unit (55) detects a pedestrian (59c)(59d) in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the crossing / pedestrian determination unit (59) determines whether the pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk or trying to cross the crosswalk. If the pedestrian is detected in the first detection zone (55-2), the pedestrian is determined to be a person trying to cross the crosswalk (59c), and if the pedestrian is detected in the second detection zone (55-3), the pedestrian is determined to be a person walking on the sidewalk (59d).
[0093] That is, if a pedestrian is a person walking on the sidewalk without crossing the crosswalk (59d), he / she will be detected in the second detection zone (55-3) as he / she must continue walking, and if he / she is a person trying to cross the crosswalk (59c), he / she will be detected in the first detection zone (55-2) where he / she is waiting to cross the crosswalk.
[0094] The width ratio of the first detection zone (55-2) and the second detection zone (55-3) among the above pedestrian detection zones (55-1) can be appropriately distributed and set according to the on-site situation of the crosswalk.
[0095] FIG. 8 is a schematic diagram for explaining another method for determining whether a person is trying to cross a crosswalk or walking on a sidewalk with a floor signal light installed on site according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 8 with reference to FIG. 1,
[0096] In order to determine whether a pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk or trying to cross a crosswalk, a pedestrian detection zone (55-1) is divided into a first direction (80), a second direction (81), a third direction (82), a fourth direction (83), and a fifth direction (84), and when the pedestrian detection unit (55) detects a pedestrian (59e)(59f) in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the crossing / pedestrian determination unit (59) determines whether the pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk or trying to cross the crosswalk. If the pedestrian is facing the first direction (80) or the third direction (82), the pedestrian is determined to be a person walking on the sidewalk (59e), and if the pedestrian is facing the second direction (81), the fourth direction (83), and the fifth direction (84), the pedestrian is determined to be a person walking on the sidewalk (59f).
[0097] That is, if a pedestrian is a person walking on the sidewalk without crossing the crosswalk (59f), he / she will have to continue walking, so he / she will be facing the second direction (81), fourth direction (83), or fifth direction (84), and if he / she is a person trying to cross the crosswalk (59e), he / she will be facing the first direction (80) or third direction (82) to cross the crosswalk.
[0098] Additionally, if the pedestrian's direction of movement is in the first direction (80) or the third direction (82), the pedestrian is judged to be a person trying to cross the crosswalk, and if the pedestrian's direction of movement is in the second direction (81), fourth direction (83), or fifth direction (84), the pedestrian is judged to be a person walking on the sidewalk.
[0099] That is, if a pedestrian is a person walking on the sidewalk (59f) without crossing the crosswalk, he or she must continue walking, so he or she will be moving in the second direction (81), fourth direction (83), or fifth direction (84), and if he or she is trying to cross the crosswalk, he or she will be moving in the first direction (80) or third direction (82) to cross the crosswalk.
[0100] FIG. 9 is a schematic diagram for explaining another method for determining whether a person is trying to cross a crosswalk or walking on a sidewalk with a floor signal light installed on site according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 9 with reference to FIG. 1,
[0101] When the pedestrian detection unit (55) detects a pedestrian (59g)(59h)(59i) in the pedestrian detection area (55-1), the crossing / pedestrian judgment unit (59) determines whether the pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk or trying to cross the crosswalk. If the pedestrian's arms are swinging in the second direction or their legs are spread out forward and backward, the pedestrian is determined to be walking on the sidewalk (59i), and if the pedestrian's arms are in an attention posture (59g), or the pedestrian's legs are spread out to the side (59h), or the pedestrian's legs are in an eleven-legged position (59g), the pedestrian is determined to be trying to cross the crosswalk (59g)(59h).
[0102] That is, if a pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk instead of crossing the crosswalk (59i), the pedestrian will have to keep walking, so the pedestrian's arms will swing back and forth or the pedestrian's legs will be spread out front and back. If the pedestrian is trying to cross the crosswalk, the pedestrian will have to stand while waiting for the signal, so the pedestrian's arms will be in the attention position (59g) or the pedestrian's legs will be in the eleven-letter position (59g), and in some cases, the pedestrian's legs will be spread out to the side (59h).
[0103] In addition, in the present invention, when there are a number of pedestrians in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1) as shown in Fig. 9, and the crossing / pedestrian determination unit (59) determines that there are both a person walking on the sidewalk and a person attempting to cross the crosswalk, the control unit (60) should operate the floor signal light because there is a person attempting to cross the crosswalk.
[0104] In the present invention, among the pedestrians detected by the pedestrian detection unit (55), the crossing / pedestrian judgment unit (59) determines whether the pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk or trying to cross the crosswalk. In order to make an efficient judgment, video detection (55b) is preferable, but in some cases, various detection methods such as infrared detection (55a), distance detection (55c), vertical detection (55d), and horizontal detection (55e) can be integrated and applied.
[0105] FIG. 10 is a schematic diagram of a floor signal light according to an embodiment of the present invention installed on site with the power cut off. Referring to FIG. 1, FIG. 10 is examined with reference to FIG. 1. If a pedestrian trying to cross a crosswalk is not detected by the pedestrian detection unit (55) as in FIG. 10, or if a pedestrian is detected as in FIGS. 6 to 9 but the crossing / pedestrian determination unit (59) determines that the pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk, the power to the pedestrian signal light is cut off as in FIG. 10 so that the floor signal light does not operate.
[0106] In the present invention, the operation of the floor signal light is such that when the pedestrian signal light (50) is a red signal (51), the floor signal light (10) also emits a red signal, and when the pedestrian signal light (50) is a green signal (52), the floor signal light (10) also emits a green signal.
[0107] In the present invention, the ‘specific signal of a pedestrian signal light’ refers to a green signal (52) or red signal (51) of a pedestrian signal light (50).
[0108] Looking at one embodiment of the present invention, in a floor signal light (10) that displays a signal on the bottom surface of a crosswalk edge (31), it includes a time setting unit (56) for controlling the operation of the floor signal light according to a set time zone; and a control unit (60) that controls the floor signal light according to the time zone set in the time setting unit (56), or controls the floor signal light according to the judgment of a crossing / pedestrian judgment unit (59) regarding a person around the crosswalk.
[0109] The above time setting unit (56) is a first time setting (56-1) that makes the floor signal light glow more strongly than at night to make the signal display of the floor signal light clearly visible in direct sunlight during the daytime, which is the set time zone.
[0110] It is composed of a second time setting (56-2) to make the floor signal light glow weaker than the light of the time zone set in the first time setting (56-1) to prevent glare during the set time zone at night, a third time setting (56-3) to make the floor signal light operate outside of the set time zone at night, and a fourth time setting (56-4) to make the floor signal light not operate during the set time zone at night to prevent power waste.
[0111] The above control unit (60) controls the light emission of the floor signal light to be stronger than the light emission state at night during the daytime, which is the time zone set in the first time setting (56-1) of the time setting unit (56).
[0112] At night, which is the time zone set in the second time setting (56-2) of the above time setting section (56), the light of the floor signal light is controlled to be weaker than the light of the time zone set in the first time setting (56-1).
[0113] In the time zone set in the third time setting (56-3) of the above time setting section (56), the floor signal light is set to operate, and in the time zone set in the fourth time setting (56-4) of the above time setting section (56), the floor signal light is set to not operate, or
[0114] Or, if a pedestrian is not detected by the pedestrian detection unit (55) in the time zone set in the fourth time setting (56-4) of the time setting unit (56), the floor signal light (10) is not operated, and if a pedestrian is detected by the pedestrian detection unit (55), the floor signal light (10) is operated, or
[0115] Or, when a pedestrian is detected by the pedestrian detection unit (55) in the time zone set in the fourth time setting (56-4) of the time setting unit (56), the first judgment (59-1) that determines that the pedestrian is a person walking on the sidewalk if he / she moves a certain amount of time or more around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, and that the pedestrian is a person trying to cross the crosswalk if he / she does not move a certain amount of time or more around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1).
[0116] If a pedestrian is in the second detection zone (55-3) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged as a person walking on the sidewalk, and if a pedestrian is in the first detection zone (55-2) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged as a person trying to cross the crosswalk. The second judgment (59-2)
[0117] If the front of a pedestrian is facing the first direction (80) or the third direction (82) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged as a person trying to cross the crosswalk, and if the front of a pedestrian is facing any of the second direction (81), fourth direction (83), or fifth direction (84) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged as a person walking on the sidewalk, the third judgment (59-3).
[0118] If a pedestrian is moving in the third direction (82) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged to be a person trying to cross the crosswalk, and if a pedestrian is moving in any of the second direction (81), fourth direction (83), and fifth direction (84) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged to be a person walking on the sidewalk, the fourth judgment (59-4).
[0119] If a pedestrian's arms are swinging back and forth in the second direction (80) or the fourth direction (83) or the pedestrian's legs are spread out back and forth around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged to be walking on the sidewalk, and if the pedestrian's arms are in an attention posture or the pedestrian's legs are spread out to the side or the pedestrian's legs are in an eleven-way position, the pedestrian is judged to be trying to cross the crosswalk. If any one or more of the fifth judgments (59-5) determine that the pedestrian is continuing to pass on the sidewalk, the floor signal light (10) is not operated, and if the pedestrian is judged to be trying to cross the crosswalk, the floor signal light (10) is operated.
[0120] Looking at another embodiment of the present invention, the control unit controls the floor signal light to operate during the time period set in the third time setting (56-3) of the time setting unit, and controls the floor signal light not to operate during the time period set in the fourth time setting (56-4) of the time setting unit (56).
[0121] The above control unit (60) prevents the floor signal light from operating when a pedestrian is not detected by the pedestrian detection unit (55) in the time zone set in the fourth time setting (56-4) of the time setting unit (56), and when a pedestrian is detected by the pedestrian detection unit in the time zone set in the fourth time setting (56-4) of the time setting unit (56),
[0122] If the above-mentioned crosswalk / pedestrian judgment unit (59) determines that a person near a crosswalk is a pedestrian based on at least one of the first judgment (59-1), second judgment (59-2), third judgment (59-3), fourth judgment (59-4), and fifth judgment (59-5), the floor signal light (10) is not operated, and if the person is determined to be attempting to cross the crosswalk, the floor signal light (10) is operated.
[0123] Looking at another embodiment of the present invention, in a floor signal light (10) that displays a signal on the bottom surface of a crosswalk edge (31), a time setting unit (56) for controlling the operation of the floor signal light according to a set time zone; and a light detection unit (58) for distinguishing between day and night in the area where the floor signal light is installed;
[0124] It includes a control unit (60) that controls the floor signal light (10) according to the time set in the time setting unit (56) or controls the floor signal light according to the light intensity detected by the light intensity detection unit (58);
[0125] The above time setting unit (56) is composed of a first time setting (56a) that allows the floor signal light to operate outside of the set time zone, which is the late-night time; and a second time setting (56b) that prevents the floor signal light from operating outside of the set time zone, which is the late-night time, to prevent power waste during the late-night time.
[0126] The above control unit (60) controls the light emission of the floor signal light to be stronger than the light emission state at night when the light intensity detected by the light intensity detection unit (58) is above a certain level, and controls the light emission of the floor signal light (10) to be weaker than the light emission when the light intensity is above a certain level when the light intensity detected by the light intensity detection unit (58) is below a certain level.
[0127] In the time zone set in the first time setting (56a) of the above time setting section (56), the floor signal light is controlled to operate, and in the time zone set in the second time setting (56b) of the above time setting section (56), the floor signal light is controlled not to operate, or
[0128] Or, if a pedestrian is not detected by the pedestrian detection unit (55) during the late night time period set in the second time setting (56b) of the time setting unit (56), the floor signal light (10) is controlled to not operate, and if a pedestrian is detected by the pedestrian detection unit (55), the floor signal light (10) is controlled to operate.
[0129] Or, in the case where a pedestrian is detected by the pedestrian detection unit during the late-night time, which is the time zone set in the second time setting (56b) of the time setting unit (56), the first judgment (59-1) of the crossing / pedestrian judgment unit (59) regarding a person around the crosswalk determines that the pedestrian is a person walking on the sidewalk if he or she moves a certain amount of time or more around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone, and determines that the pedestrian is a person trying to cross the crosswalk if he or she does not move a certain amount of time or more around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1).
[0130] If a pedestrian is in the second detection zone (55-3) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged as a person walking on the sidewalk, and if a pedestrian is in the first detection zone (55-2) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged as a person trying to cross the crosswalk. The second judgment (59-2)
[0131] If the front of a pedestrian is facing the first direction (80) or the third direction (82) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged as a person trying to cross the crosswalk, and if the front of a pedestrian is facing any of the second direction (81), fourth direction (83), or fifth direction (84) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged as a person walking on the sidewalk, the third judgment (59-3).
[0132] If a pedestrian is moving in the third direction (82) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged to be a person trying to cross the crosswalk, and if a pedestrian is moving in any of the second direction (81), fourth direction (83), and fifth direction (84) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged to be a person walking on the sidewalk, the fourth judgment (59-4).
[0133] If a pedestrian's arms are swinging back and forth in the second direction (81) or the fourth direction (83) or the pedestrian's legs are spread out back and forth around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged to be a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk, and if a pedestrian's arms are in an attention posture or the pedestrian's legs are spread out to the side or the pedestrian's legs are in an eleven-shape around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged to be a pedestrian trying to cross the crosswalk. If any one or more of the fifth judgments (59-5) determine that the pedestrian is a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk, the floor signal light (10) is controlled not to operate, and if the pedestrian is judged to be a person trying to cross the crosswalk, the floor signal light (10) is controlled to operate.
[0134] In addition, the present invention further includes a time setting check unit (56-5) for checking whether the first time setting (56-1), the second time setting (56-2), the third time setting (56-3), and the fourth time setting (56-4) are set normally in the time setting unit (56); and, if the time setting check unit (56-5) determines that the time setting is not set normally, a message output unit (56-6) for notifying the user to set the time via voice or text; and, if the time setting check unit (56-5) determines that the time setting is not set normally, a time setting correction unit (56-7) for correcting the time setting.
[0135] In addition, the present invention further includes a light intensity setting unit (58a) that sets the light intensity for detecting the corresponding light intensity by the light intensity detection unit (58); and the light intensity setting unit (58a) is composed of a first light intensity setting unit (58b) for distinguishing between day and night and a second light intensity setting unit (58c) for distinguishing between night and day.
[0136] In addition, the present invention further includes a season setting unit (57) for controlling the floor signal light control by changing the time zone for each season, and the season setting unit (57) may be set to spring, summer, fall, and winter or by month, and the first time setting time or the second time setting time of the time setting unit (56) may be changed according to the time set in the season setting unit (57).
[0137] In addition, the control unit (60) of the present invention may be configured to operate the floor signal light for a certain period of time after the pedestrian detection unit (55) detects a pedestrian and then de-detects the pedestrian, and to prevent the floor signal light from operating after the certain period of time.
[0138] In addition, the present invention further includes a detection release determination unit (90) that determines whether the pedestrian detection unit (55) has detected a pedestrian and then released the detection; and the detection release determination unit (90) is composed of a first detection release (91) in which the detection is released when the pedestrian moves in any one of the second direction (81), the third direction (82), and the fourth direction (83), and a second detection release (92) in which the detection is released when the pedestrian moves in the first direction (80).
[0139] The above control unit (60) may be configured to prevent the floor signal light from operating in the case of the first detection release (91), and to operate the floor signal light on the other side until one cycle is completed in the case of the second detection release (92).
[0140] The above '1 cycle' refers to a red signal and a green signal or a red signal and a green signal and a green flashing signal, and the pedestrian detection unit on the other side detects a pedestrian who has crossed and determines whether the pedestrian is a pedestrian, and does not determine a pedestrian who has crossed as a person trying to cross the crosswalk when the pedestrian walks in the 4th direction (83) and 5th direction (84).
[0141] The operation of the floor signal light or its inoperability can be achieved by controlling a type of switch, which is a power on / off unit (70), by the control unit (60) to supply power to the floor signal light through the power on / off unit (70) when the floor signal light is to be operated, and by cutting off the power supply to the floor signal light through the power on / off unit (70) when the floor signal light is to be prevented from being operated.
[0142] In addition, if the floor signal light installed on site is operated so that it glows strongly during a certain period of time, i.e. during the day, glows weakly during a certain period of time, i.e. at night, and operates during a certain period of time, i.e. outside of the daytime and late-night hours, and does not operate during a certain period of time, i.e. late-night hours, it is obvious that it is operated by being composed of the first time setting, the second time setting, the third time setting, and the fourth time setting, which are the components of the present invention.
[0143] Fig. 11 is a flowchart of a floor signal light operating method according to an embodiment of the present invention. Looking at Fig. 11, in the floor signal light operating method that displays a signal on the floor surface of the edge of a crosswalk,
[0144] a) A step (101) of setting a time in a time setting unit (56), performing a first time setting (56-1) to make the floor signal light (10) glow more strongly than at night to ensure that the signal display is clearly visible in direct sunlight during the set time period, which is the daytime, a second time setting (56-2) to make the floor signal light (10) glow less strongly than at the time period set in the first time setting (56-1) to prevent glare during the set time period, which is the nighttime, a third time setting (56-3) to make the floor signal light operate except for the set time period, which is the late-night time, and a fourth time setting (56-4) to make the floor signal light not operate during the set time period, which is the late-night time, to prevent power waste;
[0145] b) A step (102) in which the control unit (60) controls the light emission of the floor signal light (10) to be stronger than the light emission state at night during the daytime, which is the time zone set in the first time setting (56-1) of the time setting unit (56);
[0146] c) A step (103) in which the control unit (60) controls the light emission of the floor signal light (10) to be weaker than the light emission of the time zone set in the first time setting (56-1) at night, which is the time zone set in the second time setting (56-2) of the time setting unit (56);
[0147] d) A step (104) in which the control unit (60) controls the floor signal light (10) to operate during the time period set in the third time setting (56-3) of the time setting unit (56);
[0148] e) The control unit (60) prevents the floor signal light (10) from operating during the time period set in the fourth time setting (56-4) of the time setting unit (56), or
[0149] Or, if a pedestrian is not detected by the pedestrian detection unit (55) during the late night time, which is the time zone set in the fourth time setting (56-4) of the time setting unit (56), the floor signal light (10) is not operated, and if a pedestrian is detected by the pedestrian detection unit (55), the floor signal light (10) is operated, or
[0150] Or, in the case where a pedestrian is detected by the pedestrian detection unit (55) in the late-night time zone set in the fourth time setting (56-4) of the time setting unit (56), the first judgment (59-1) of the crossing / pedestrian judgment unit (59) regarding a person around a crosswalk determines that if the pedestrian moves a certain amount of time or more around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged to be a person walking on the sidewalk, and if the pedestrian does not move a certain amount of time or more around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged to be a person trying to cross the crosswalk.
[0151] If a pedestrian is in the second detection zone (55-3) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged as a person walking on the sidewalk, and if a pedestrian is in the first detection zone (55-2) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged as a person trying to cross the crosswalk. The second judgment (59-2)
[0152] If the front of a pedestrian is facing the first direction (80) or the third direction (82) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged as a person trying to cross the crosswalk, and if the front of a pedestrian is facing any of the second direction (81), fourth direction (83), or fifth direction (84) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged as a person walking on the sidewalk, the third judgment (59-3).
[0153] If a pedestrian is moving in the third direction (82) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged to be a person trying to cross the crosswalk, and if a pedestrian is moving in any of the second direction (81), fourth direction (83), and fifth direction (84) around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), the pedestrian is judged to be a person walking on the sidewalk, the fourth judgment (59-4).
[0154] The method is characterized by including a step (105) of determining that a pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk if the pedestrian's arms are swinging back and forth in the second direction (81) or the fourth direction (83) or the pedestrian's legs are spread out back and forth around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), and determining that the pedestrian is trying to cross the crosswalk if the pedestrian's arms are in an attention posture or the pedestrian's legs are spread out to the side or the pedestrian's legs are in an eleven-letter shape around the crosswalk in the pedestrian detection zone (55-1), and controlling that the floor signal light (10) is not operated if at least one of the fifth judgments (59-5) determines that the pedestrian is walking on the sidewalk, and that the pedestrian is trying to cross the crosswalk.
[0155] In addition, even if the first time setting (56-1), the second time setting (56-2), the third time setting (56-3), and the fourth time setting (56-4) are set, if the time setting is incorrect, a step for correcting the time setting by a time setting correction unit may be further included.
[0156] In the present invention, the 'power on / off unit' is a device or method for supplying or cutting off power to a floor signal light (10) installed on site, and may be formed integrally with the control unit or formed separately, and may be formed on a support, formed on a floor signal light, or formed in another area.
[0157] In the present invention, there may be various methods for supplying or cutting off power to the floor signal light, such as a physical switch, a circuit, or a program. When operating the floor signal light, if there is a function for supplying or cutting off power to the floor signal light, the power switch unit, which is a component of the present invention, may be present regardless of the method for supplying or cutting off power. It is obvious that all devices and methods for supplying and cutting off power should be viewed as equivalent to the power on / off unit of the present invention.
[0158] In addition, in the present invention, a plurality of floor traffic lights connected in a long manner along the boundary stone (33) are formed to have a length of about 7 m in the long direction, and in some cases, may be formed to the length of the crosswalk width.
[0159] In the present invention, the floor signal light (10) is connected to a plurality of power sources, and is connected to a pedestrian signal light (50) for power and communication (not shown in the drawing). The power source may be connected to the power source of an existing pedestrian signal light (50) or the power source of a street light, and in some cases, a solar cell, etc. may be used.
[0160] In the present invention, the 'pedestrian signal light control unit (53)' refers to a device that controls an existing pedestrian signal light and is installed near a pedestrian signal light of a crosswalk.
[0161] In the present invention, the 'pedestrian signal light detection unit (54)' is something that communicates to determine whether the pedestrian signal light (50) is red or green. It is preferable that the pedestrian signal light detection unit (54) receive a signal from the pedestrian signal light control unit (53) and make the determination. However, in some cases, the floor signal light control unit (60) may communicate with the pedestrian signal light control unit (53), and in some cases, a separate detection unit (not shown in the drawing) may be formed in the pedestrian signal light (50) so that the detection unit and the floor signal light control unit (60) may communicate.
[0162] In the present invention, even if the floor signal light control unit (60) communicates with the pedestrian signal light control unit (53), it should be considered equivalent to the pedestrian signal light detection unit (54) of the present invention detecting whether the pedestrian signal light is a green signal or a red signal.
[0163] The embodiments described above combine components and features of the present invention in a predetermined manner. Each component or feature should be considered optional unless otherwise explicitly stated.
[0164] Each component or feature may be implemented without being combined with other components or features. Furthermore, it is also possible to combine some components and / or features to form embodiments of the present invention.
[0165] The order of operations described in embodiments of the present invention may be changed. Some components or features of one embodiment may be included in another embodiment, or may be replaced with corresponding components or features of another embodiment.
