Gas discrimination model motion control device and motion control method thereof

[0001] The present invention relates to an operation control device for a gas discrimination model capable of controlling whether or not a gas discrimination model operates, and an operation control method thereof.

[0002] This study is related to the Development of Sensor Platform Technology for Convergence and Miniaturization of Multi-Sensors (No. 1415181703) as a research project supported by the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology with funding from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in 2023, the Environmental Sensing Autonomous Unmanned System Research Center (No. 1345331876) as a research project supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea with funding from the Ministry of Education in 2023, the Development of Intelligent IoT Complex Sensors for Food Spoilage and Storage Monitoring (No. 1415177656) as a research project supported by the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology with funding from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in 2023, and the Intelligent Energy of Things (iEoT) Semiconductor System Convergence Da Vinci-type Human Resources Training Center (No. 1711181038) as a research project supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea with funding from the Ministry of Science and ICT.

[0003] Pollutants mixed in the atmosphere are emitted from a variety of sources. For example, industrial facilities that process chemicals, power plants that burn fuel to generate electricity, and residential buildings with heating systems can all be sources of pollutants. Various engine-powered vehicles can also be moving sources of pollutants.

[0004] Most pollutants are contained in gases produced by these sources and emitted along with them. Therefore, measuring pollutants contained in gases is essential as a basic step toward removing pollutants from the atmosphere or controlling their spread. In addition to the examples given, there are many other gases produced through various methods, and these gases may contain a variety of pollutants. Accurately measuring pollutants allows for precise determination of treatment methods, enabling more effective responses to air pollution.

[0005] Traditionally, specific sensors, such as gas sensors, were primarily used to measure and analyze contaminants in gases. However, this approach suffered from limitations in its scope of application due to the operating principles and structure of the gas sensors.

[0006] Accordingly, a method is being developed to predict and determine the type or concentration of pollutants contained in gas from the detection signal of a gas sensor using an artificial intelligence-based neural network model.

[0007] However, this artificial intelligence-based pollutant measurement method has the problem that the entire system including the neural network model, especially the neural network model, must always be kept active, which significantly increases power consumption in the system that determines pollutants in gas.

[0008] The present invention aims to provide an operation control device for a gas discrimination model and an operation control method thereof, which can control whether or not the gas discrimination model operates based on a detection signal received from a gas sensor.

[0010] In addition, the motion control device of the present embodiment further includes a signal preprocessing unit that quantizes each of the plurality of detection signals for each time point into a 1-bit digital value based on a preset first reference value, thereby generating a plurality of detection data corresponding to each of the plurality of detection signals for each time point.

[0011] The signal generation unit generates one or more past time detection signals based on one or more past time detection data among the plurality of detection data.

[0012] The signal preprocessing unit classifies each of the plurality of detection data into a plurality of channels of the gas sensor array and stores the classified data in memory.

Accordingly, the operation control device further includes a first switching control unit that controls the switching operation of the plurality of switching elements of the signal holding unit based on preset parameters so that the present time detection signal is held; and a second switching control unit that controls the switching operation of the plurality of switching elements of the signal generating unit based on one or more of the detection data so that the past time detection signal is generated.

[0014] The second switching control unit controls the switching operation of a plurality of switching elements of the signal generation unit while the current point detection signal is held.

[0015] The above motion control signal generation unit receives a signal obtained by convolving the present time detection signal and one or more past time detection signals, and generates the motion control signal.

[0016] The above motion control signal generating unit receives a first signal obtained by convolving a first signal of the current time detection signal and a first signal of the one or more past time detection signals, and a second signal obtained by convolving a second signal of the current time detection signal and a second signal of the one or more past time detection signals, and generates the motion control signal based on a result of comparing the convolved first signal and the convolved second signal.

[0017] A method for controlling the operation of a gas discrimination model according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: receiving a plurality of detection signals for each time point from a gas sensor array at preset intervals; holding a current detection signal among the plurality of detection signals for each time point; generating one or more past detection signals based on one or more previously stored detection data; and generating an operation control signal for determining whether to operate the gas discrimination model based on the current detection signal and the one or more past detection signals.

[0018] In addition, the motion control method of the present embodiment further includes a step of quantizing each of the plurality of time-point detection signals into a 1-bit digital value based on a preset first reference value; and a step of generating the quantized digital value into a plurality of detection data corresponding to each of the plurality of time-point detection signals.

[0019] The step of generating the one or more past time detection signals includes the step of generating the one or more past time detection signals based on one or more past time detection data among the plurality of detection data.

[0020] In addition, the method further includes a step of classifying each of the plurality of detection data into a plurality of channels corresponding to each of the plurality of gas sensors of the gas sensor array and storing the classified data in a memory.

[0021] The step of holding the current point-in-time detection signal includes a step of holding the current point-in-time detection signal by controlling the switching operation of a plurality of switching elements of the signal holding unit based on preset parameters.

[0022] The step of generating the one or more past time detection signals includes the step of generating the one or more past time detection signals by controlling the switching operation of a plurality of switching elements of the signal generation unit based on the one or more detection data.

[0023] The step of generating one or more past time detection signals includes the step of generating one or more past time detection signals while the present time detection signal is held.

[0024] The step of generating the above motion control signal includes the step of convolving the present time detection signal and the one or more past time detection signals; and the step of generating the motion control signal based on the convolved signal.

[0025] The step of generating the above motion control signal includes the step of generating a first signal by convolving a first signal of the present time detection signal and a first signal of the one or more past time detection signals; the step of generating a second signal by convolving a second signal of the present time detection signal and a second signal of the one or more past time detection signals; and the step of generating the motion control signal based on a result of comparing the convolved first and second signals.

[0026] The present invention compares a detection signal received from a gas sensor with a detection signal received in the past and controls whether or not a gas discrimination model operates based on the result, thereby selectively activating a gas discrimination model, thereby reducing power consumed by a gas discrimination device.

[0027] In addition, the present invention can reduce the number of memories and the overall size of the gas determination device while reducing power consumption by quantizing and storing a plurality of detection signals received in the past from the gas sensor as 1-bit signals.

Therefore, their definitions should be based on the overall content of this specification.

[0035] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0036] FIG. 1 is a drawing showing a gas determination device according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0037] Referring to FIG. 1, the gas determination device (100) of the present embodiment can receive a gas detection signal from a gas sensor array (200) and determine the type or concentration of the corresponding gas. The gas determination device (100) may include an input / output unit (111), a processor (113), an operation control unit (115), and a gas determination model (117).

[0038] The input / output unit (111) can receive a gas detection signal from the gas sensor array (200). In addition, the input / output unit (111) can output the gas determination result generated by the processor (113) to an external device, such as a gas leak management system (not shown).

[0039] Here, the gas sensor array (200) may include one or more gas sensors (not shown) that detect gas and generate a predetermined detection signal. The gas sensor array (200) may output the detection signal generated from the gas sensor at preset intervals. Accordingly, the input / output unit (111) may receive detection signals from the gas sensor array (200) at multiple points in time.

[0040] When an operation control signal is output from the operation control unit (115) based on multiple point-in-time detection signals received through the input / output unit (111), the processor (113) can control activation or deactivation of the gas determination model (117) based on the operation control signal.

[0041] In addition, when a gas determination result is output in response to a detection signal from an activated gas determination model (117), the processor (113) can output it to the outside through the input / output unit (111).

[0042] The operation control unit (115) can output an operation control signal that determines whether the gas determination model (117) operates based on multiple time-based detection signals received through the input / output unit (111).

[0043] Here, the motion control unit (115) can output motion control signals of different levels. For example, the motion control unit (115) can output one of a first-level motion control signal and a second-level motion control signal of a lower level compared to the first-level motion control signal.

[0044] At this time, the first level operation control signal may be a signal to initiate operation of the gas discrimination model (117), i.e., to activate the gas discrimination model (117), and the second level operation control signal may be a signal to deactivate the gas discrimination model (117).

[0045] Fig. 2 is a drawing showing the operation control unit of Fig. 1, and Fig. 3 is a drawing showing a circuit diagram of the operation control unit of Fig. 1.

[0046] Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, the operation control unit (115) of the present embodiment may include a signal preprocessing unit (120), a memory (130), a signal holding unit (140), a signal generation unit (150), a switching control unit (160), and an operation control signal generation unit (170).

[0047] The signal preprocessing unit (120) can preprocess multiple time-point detection signals provided through the input / output unit (111) and generate multiple detection data corresponding to each of the multiple time-point detection signals.

[0048] For example, the signal preprocessing unit (120) can quantize the detection signal, which is an analog signal, into a 1-bit digital value and generate detection data, which is digital data, accordingly. Here, the signal preprocessing unit (120) can generate a plurality of detection data from the detection signals at a plurality of time points based on a preset first reference voltage (Vref1). The plurality of detection data can be stored in the memory (130) at each time point.

[0049] The signal preprocessing unit (120) may include a channel selection unit (121), an amplifier (123), and a comparator (125).

[0050] The channel selection unit (121) can select each channel of the received multiple time-point detection signals and generate a channel signal based on the selected channel. The generated channel signal can be provided as an input signal of the amplifier (123) based on a preset first reference voltage (Vref1).

[0051] Here, the channel corresponds to one or more gas sensors included in the gas sensor array (200), and the number of channels may be equal to the number of gas sensors.

[0052] For example, as illustrated in FIG. 3, if the gas sensor array (200) includes four channels, i.e., four gas sensors, the channel selection unit (121) of the signal preprocessing unit (120) can select one of the four channels for each detection signal at multiple points in time and generate a channel signal accordingly.

[0053] The channel selection unit (121) may include one or more selectors (mux) that select one of the plurality of resistors according to a plurality of resistors and a detection signal for channel selection.

[0054] Here, the plurality of resistors correspond to the number of channels and include a first resistor (R1), a second resistor (R2), a third resistor (R3), and a fourth resistor (R4), and can be connected in parallel with each other. Each of the first resistor (R1) to the fourth resistor (R4) can have a different resistance value.

[0055] A selector (mux) is arranged at each end of a plurality of resistors, and can select one of the plurality of resistors based on a detection signal. Accordingly, the power voltage (VDD) of the channel selector (121) is applied to the selected resistor to generate a predetermined channel voltage, and the channel selector (121) can output the channel voltage as a channel signal for the corresponding channel.

[0056] In addition, since each of the plurality of resistors has a different resistance value, the channel signals output from the channel selection unit (121) may also have different sizes.

[0057] For example, a first resistor (R1) may be selected in response to a detection signal output from one channel of the gas sensor array (200), for example, a first gas sensor, and a first channel signal may be generated accordingly. Here, since the resistance value of the first resistor (R1) is different from the remaining resistors, the first channel signal may have a different size from the second channel signal to the fourth channel signal generated based on the second resistor (R2) to the fourth resistor (R4) selected in response to the detection signal output from the second gas sensor to the fourth gas sensor.

[0058] Meanwhile, the channel selection unit (121) can generate two input signals from the first channel signal based on the preset first reference voltage (Vref1). These two input signals can be provided as inputs to the amplifier (123).

[0059] For example, the channel selection unit (121) can generate a first input signal as a sum of a first reference voltage (Vref1) and a first channel signal. In addition, the channel selection unit (121) can generate a second input signal as a difference between the first reference voltage (Vref1) and the first channel signal. These first input signal and second input signal can be input to the amplifier (123).

[0060] The amplifier (123) can amplify the first input signal and the second input signal provided from the channel selection unit (121) and output the first amplified signal and the second amplified signal.

[0061] The comparator (125) can compare the output signal of the amplifier (123), for example, the first amplified signal, with the first reference voltage (Vref1). The comparator (125) can output a first level or second level digital value, for example, 1 or 0, depending on the comparison result. The output of the comparator (125) can be output as detection data corresponding to each of the multiple detection signals for each time point input to the signal preprocessing unit (120) and stored in the memory (130).

[0062] As described above, the signal preprocessing unit (120) of the present embodiment can preprocess multiple detection signals received from the gas sensor array (200) at each point in time into corresponding digital values to generate multiple detection data. Such detection data can be stored in the memory (130) at each point in time.

[0063] Accordingly, the gas determination device (100) of the present invention can reduce the size and number of memories (130) by storing the detection signal, which is an analog signal, as detection data, which is digital data, thereby reducing the overall size of the gas determination device (100) and reducing the power consumed.

[0064] The signal holding unit (140) can hold, for a predetermined period of time, a signal corresponding to a current point-in-time detection signal among a plurality of point-in-time detection signals received through the input / output unit (111), for example, a first amplification signal and a second amplification signal output in response to the current point-in-time detection signal through the signal preprocessing unit (120) according to the control of the switching control unit (160) to be described later.

[0065] In addition, the signal holding unit (140) can output the held signal to the operation control signal generating unit (170) to be described later. Here, for convenience of explanation, the held signals output from the signal holding unit (140) are referred to as the current time first signal and the current time second signal.

[0066] The signal holding unit (140) may include a plurality of switching elements, for example, the first switching element (S1) to the sixteenth switching element (S16), and a plurality of capacitors, for example, the first capacitor (C1) and the second capacitor (C2).

[0067] Here, among the plurality of switching elements of the signal holding unit (140), the third switching element (S3) to the tenth switching element (S10), and the first capacitor (C1) and the second capacitor (C2) can constitute a signal storage unit (141) in which the current point-in-time detection signal, i.e., the first amplification signal and the second amplification signal, are stored and held.

[0068] In addition, among the plurality of switching elements of the signal holding unit (140), the 11th switching element (S11) to the 14th switching element (S14) can form a path conversion unit (145) that converts the output path of the signal held in the signal storage unit (141).

[0069] The switching operation of the plurality of switching elements of the signal holding unit (140) can be controlled by the switching control unit (160). Accordingly, the signal storage unit (141) stores and holds each of the first amplified signal and the second amplified signal output from the signal preprocessing unit (120), and the path conversion unit (145) determines the output path of the signal held in the signal storage unit (141) and can output the first signal at the current time and the second signal at the current time.

[0070] Here, the path conversion unit (145) can convert the output path so that the signal held in the signal storage unit (141) is output as the current time first signal and the current time second signal to the first input terminal and the second input terminal of the motion control signal generation unit (170), respectively, or so that the held signal is output as the current time second signal and the current time first signal to the first input terminal and the second input terminal of the motion control signal generation unit (170), respectively.

[0071] The signal generation unit (150) can generate one or more past time detection signals based on one or more past time detection data among multiple time-point detection data stored in the memory (130).

[0072] The past detection signal generated by the signal generation unit (150) may be a signal corresponding to the present detection signal held in the signal holding unit (140), that is, a detection signal output at a past time from the same channel of the gas sensor array (200) may be a signal generated from detection data by the signal preprocessing unit (120).

[0073] The signal generation unit (150) may include a plurality of switching elements, for example, a seventeenth switching element (S17) to a twenty-second switching element (S22), and a plurality of capacitors, for example, a third capacitor (C3) and a fourth capacitor (C4).

[0074] This signal generation unit (150) can generate one or more past point-in-time detection signals through the first capacitor (C1) and the second capacitor (C2) by controlling the switching operation of a plurality of switching elements according to the control of the switching control unit (160).

[0075] Here, the past time detection signal generated from the signal generation unit (150) can correspond to two signals output from the signal holding unit (140), namely, the present time first signal and the present time second signal.

[0076] In other words, the signal generation unit (150) generates one or more past time detection signals based on one or more past time detection data, and each past time detection signal may include a past time first signal and a past time second signal so as to correspond to a signal output from the signal holding unit (140).

[0077] The signal generation unit (150) can generate a past time first signal and a past time second signal during the holding period of the signal holding unit (140) described above. In addition, the signal generation unit (150) can output the past time first signal and the past time second signal at the time when the signals held by the signal holding unit (140), i.e., the present time first signal and the present time second signal, are output.

[0078] Meanwhile, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the signal holding unit (140) and the signal generating unit (150) may be configured in multiple numbers based on the number of multiple channels of the gas sensor array (200) or the number of multiple past point-in-time detection data stored in the memory (130).

[0079] For example, in a case where the gas sensor array (200) is configured with 4 channels and 3 past detection data for each channel are stored in the memory (130), the signal holding unit (140) may be configured with 4 corresponding to the number of channels of the gas sensor array (200), and the signal generating unit (150) may be configured with 12 corresponding to the number of channels of the gas sensor array (200) and the number of past detection data of the memory (130).

[0080] And, when a current point detection signal is received from one channel of the gas sensor array (200), one of the four signal holding units (140) is operated to hold the current point detection signal, and three of the twelve signal generating units (150) are operated to generate three past point detection signals corresponding to the held current point detection signal.

[0081] The switching control unit (160) may include a first switching control unit (161) and a second switching control unit (165).

[0082] The first switching control unit (161) can control the switching operation of a plurality of switching elements of the signal holding unit (140) based on one or more preset parameters. The second switching control unit (165) can control the switching operation of a plurality of switching elements of the signal generating unit (150) based on a plurality of sensing data stored in the memory (130).

[0083] Here, the second switching control unit (165) can control the switching operation of the plurality of switching elements of the signal generating unit (150) while the first switching control unit (161) controls the plurality of switching elements of the signal holding unit (140) to hold the signal in the signal holding unit (140), thereby generating a past point-in-time detection signal in the signal generating unit (150).

[0084] The motion control signal generation unit (170) can generate a motion control signal (DCS) that determines whether the gas determination model (117) operates based on the current time detection signal and one or more past time detection signals output from the signal holding unit (140) and the signal generation unit (150).

[0085] Here, the signal input to the motion control signal generation unit (170) may be a signal obtained by convolving a current point-in-time detection signal and a corresponding past point-in-time detection signal.

[0086] For example, the first signal at the present time output from the signal holding unit (140) can be convolved with the first signal at the past time output from the signal generating unit (150) and input to the first input terminal of the motion control signal generating unit (170). In addition, the second signal at the present time output from the signal holding unit (140) can be convolved with the second signal at the past time output from the signal generating unit (150) and input to the second input terminal of the motion control signal generating unit (170).

[0087] Accordingly, the motion control signal generation unit (170) can compare the two input convolution signals and, based on the comparison result, generate and output either the first-level motion control signal or the second-level motion control signal. This motion control signal generation unit (170) may be a comparator that generates the motion control signal by comparing the magnitudes of the two input signals.

[0088] Here, the first level motion control signal may have a value greater than the second level motion control signal. For example, the first level motion control signal may have a value of 1, and the second level motion control signal may have a value of 0.

[0089] Referring again to FIG. 1, the processor (113) can control the operation of the gas determination model (117) based on the operation control signal output from the operation control unit (115).

[0090] For example, when a first level operation control signal is output from the operation control unit (115), the processor (113) can activate the gas discrimination model (117) based on the corresponding operation control signal. In addition, when a second level operation control signal is output from the operation control unit (115), the processor (113) can deactivate the gas discrimination model (117) based on the corresponding operation control signal.

[0091] The gas discrimination model (117) can predict the type or concentration of gas from the detection signal provided from the gas sensor array (200) through the input / output unit (111) under the control of the processor (113) and output the discrimination result. This gas discrimination model (117) can be a neural network model learned based on machine learning or deep learning using multiple learning data.

[0092] As described above, when the gas detection device (100) of the present embodiment receives a detection signal for gas from the gas sensor array (200), the operation control unit (115) compares the current detection signal with the past detection signal to generate an operation control signal that can determine whether to operate the gas detection model (117), and selectively activates the gas detection model (117) accordingly, thereby reducing the power consumed by the gas detection device (100).

[0093] FIG. 4 is a drawing showing an operation timing diagram of an operation control unit according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIGS. 5 to 8 are drawings showing the operation of an operation control unit according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0094] Hereinafter, with reference to FIGS. 4 to 8, the operation control method for the gas discrimination model (117) of the gas discrimination device (100) will be specifically described.

[0095] First, the operation control unit (115) of the gas determination device (100) preprocesses multiple past time detection signals received through the input / output unit (111) using the signal preprocessing unit (120), and accordingly generates multiple past time detection data corresponding to each of the multiple past time detection signals and stores the data in the memory (130).

[0096] For example, the signal preprocessing unit (120) can select each channel of a plurality of past point-in-time detection signals through the channel selection unit (121) to generate a plurality of channel signals, and provide each of the plurality of channel signals as a first input signal and a second input signal to the amplifier (123) based on the first reference voltage (Vref1). Then, the signal preprocessing unit (120) can compare the signal output from the amplifier (123) with the first reference voltage (Vref1) through the comparator (125), and generate a plurality of past point-in-time detection data corresponding to each of the plurality of past point-in-time detection signals based on the comparison result.

[0097] In addition, the motion control unit (115) can preprocess the current point-in-time detection signal received through the input / output unit (111) using the signal preprocessing unit (120) and generate current point-in-time detection data accordingly. The operation of generating this current point-in-time detection data may be substantially the same as the operation of generating the past point-in-time detection data described above.

[0098] Meanwhile, when a next time detection signal is received through the input / output unit (111), the signal preprocessing unit (120) can output the generated current time detection data to the memory (130) and store it as past time detection data.

[0099] Referring to FIG. 4, the signal holding unit (140), signal generating unit (150), switching control unit (160), and operating control signal generating unit (170) of the operating control unit (115) can operate in four operating sections, for example, an amplifier section (amp), a set section (set), a convolution section (conv), and a reset section (rst), according to a clock signal (clk) based on the current gas detection signal received through the input / output section (111).

[0100] Meanwhile, in FIG. 4, the operation of the operation control unit (115) according to the current point detection signal output from each of the four channels of the gas sensor array (200) is illustrated, but below, for convenience of explanation, the operation of the amplifier section (amp), set section (set), convolution section (conv), and reset section (rst) of the operation control unit (115) according to the current point detection signal output from the first channel of the gas sensor array (200) will be described.

[0101] Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, in the amplifier section (amp) of the operation control unit (115), the first switching control unit (161) can control the switching operation of multiple switching elements of the signal holding unit (140) based on one or more preset parameters.

[0102] For example, the first switching control unit (161) can control each of the first switching element (S1), the second switching element (S2), the third switching element (S3), the sixth switching element (S6), the seventh switching element (S7), and the eighth switching element (S8) among the plurality of switching elements of the signal holding unit (140) to turn on based on one or more parameters.

[0103] Accordingly, the signal storage unit (141) of the signal holding unit (140) can store and hold the first amplified signal and the second amplified signal output from the amplifier (123) of the signal preprocessing unit (120), respectively. At this time, a value corresponding to the difference between the first amplified signal and the second reference voltage (Vref2) may be stored in the first capacitor (C1) of the signal storage unit (141), and a value corresponding to the difference between the second amplified signal and the third reference voltage (Vref3) may be stored in the second capacitor (C2). Here, the second reference voltage (Vref2) and the third reference voltage (Vref3) may be the same voltage.

[0104] Additionally, in the amplifier section (amp), the second switching control unit (165) can control the switching operation of multiple switching elements of the signal generation unit (150) based on one or more past point-in-time detection data.

[0105] For example, when the past point-in-time detection data is at the first level, the second switching control unit (165) can control the 17th switching element (S17) and the 19th switching element (S19) of the signal generation unit (150) to turn on. In addition, when the past point-in-time detection data is at the second level, the second switching control unit (165) can control the 18th switching element (S18) and the 20th switching element (S20) of the signal generation unit (150) to turn on.

[0106] Here, the first level may mean that the past detection data has a value of 1, and the second level may mean that the past detection data has a value of 0. In addition, the past detection data of the second level may mean detection data generated when a gas detection signal is not received from the first channel of the gas sensor array (200), i.e., the first gas sensor, to the input / output unit (111) of the gas determination device (100) at that time.

[0107] As illustrated in FIG. 5, when the 17th switching element (S17) and the 19th switching element (S19) of the signal generation unit (150) are turned on under the control of the second switching control unit (165), the third capacitor (C3) of the signal generation unit (150) can be charged with a predetermined voltage as a past time detection signal, for example, a past time first signal, based on the power supply voltage (VDD). In addition, the fourth capacitor (C4) of the signal generation unit (150) can be charged with a predetermined voltage as a past time second signal based on the ground voltage (GND).

[0108] Next, referring to FIG. 6, in the set section of the operation control unit (115), the first switching control unit (161) can control the switching operation of multiple switching elements of the signal holding unit (140) based on one or more parameters.

[0109] For example, in the aforementioned amplifier section (amp), the first switching element (S1), the second switching element (S2), the third switching element (S3), the sixth switching element (S6), the seventh switching element (S7), and the eighth switching element (S8) of the signal holding section (140) may be turned on.

[0110] The first switching control unit (161) can control the first switching element (S1), the second switching element (S2), the sixth switching element (S6), and the eighth switching element (S8) of the signal holding unit (140) to turn off based on one or more parameters, and the third switching element (S3) and the seventh switching element (S7) to maintain a turn-on state.

[0111] In addition, the first switching control unit (161) can control the fifth switching element (S5), the ninth switching element (S9), the eleventh switching element (S11), and the fourteenth switching element (S14) of the signal holding unit (140) to be turned on.

[0112] Accordingly, the signal storage unit (141) of the signal holding unit (140) can maintain the holding of the signal stored in each of the first capacitor (C1) and the second capacitor (C2) by the turned-on third switching element (S3), the fifth switching element (S5), the seventh switching element (S7), and the ninth switching element (S9).

[0113] In addition, the path conversion unit (145) of the signal holding unit (140) can determine the output path of the signal stored in the signal storage unit (141) by the turned-on 11th switching element (S11) and 14th switching element (S14).

[0114] Here, since the 11th switching element (S11) and the 14th switching element (S14) of the path conversion unit (145) are each in a turn-on state, the path conversion unit (145) can cause the signal stored in the first capacitor (C1) to be output as the first signal at the current time through the 15th switching element (S15), and the signal stored in the second capacitor (C2) to be output as the second signal at the current time through the 16th switching element (S16).

[0115] In another embodiment, when each of the 12th switching element (S12) and the 13th switching element (S13) of the path change unit (145) is turned on by the first switching control unit (161), the path change unit (145) may change the output path of the signal held in the signal storage unit (141) by outputting the first signal at the current time through the 16th switching element (S16) and outputting the second signal at the current time through the 15th switching element (S15).

[0116] Additionally, in the aforementioned amplifier section (amp), the 17th switching element (S17) and the 19th switching element (S19) of the signal generation unit (150) may be turned on.

[0117] The second switching control unit (165) can turn off the 17th switching element (S17) and the 19th switching element (S19) of the signal generation unit (150) based on one or more past point-in-time detection data.

[0118] Accordingly, the signal generation unit (150) can maintain the charging state of the past time first signal and the past time second signal charged in the third capacitor (C3) and the fourth capacitor (C4), respectively.

[0119] Continuing with reference to FIG. 7, in the convolution section (conv) of the operation control unit (115), the first switching control unit (161) can control the switching operation of a plurality of switching elements of the signal holding unit (140) based on one or more preset parameters.

[0120] Here, the first switching control unit (161) can maintain the turn-on states of the third switching element (S3), the fifth switching element (S5), the seventh switching element (S7), and the ninth switching element (S9) of the signal storage unit (141), and can maintain the turn-on states of the eleventh switching element (S11) and the fourteenth switching element (S14) of the path conversion unit (145).

[0121] In addition, the first switching control unit (161) can control the 15th switching element (S15) and the 16th switching element (S16) of the signal holding unit (140) to be turned on, respectively.

[0122] Accordingly, the signal holding unit (140) can output the first signal at the current point in time held in the first capacitor (C1) through the eleventh switching element (S11) and the fifteenth switching element (S15), and can output the second signal at the current point in time held in the second capacitor (C2) through the fourteenth switching element (S14) and the sixteenth switching element (S16).

[0123] In addition, the second switching control unit (165) can control the 21st switching element (S21) and the 22nd switching element (S22) of the signal generation unit (150) to be turned on based on one or more past point-in-time detection data.

[0124] At this time, the second switching control unit (165) can control the 21st switching element (S21) and the 22nd switching element (S22) to be turned on at the time when the 15th switching element (S15) and the 16th switching element (S16) of the signal holding unit (140) are turned on by the first switching control unit (161).

[0125] Accordingly, the signal generation unit (150) can output the first signal of the past time charged in the third capacitor (C3) through the 21st switching element (S21), and output the second signal of the past time charged in the 4th capacitor (C4) through the 22nd switching element (S22).

[0126] Therefore, in the convolution section (conv) of the present embodiment, the first signal and the second signal at the present time output from the signal holding unit (140) and the first signal and the second signal at the past time output from the signal generating unit (150) can be convolved and input to the operation control signal generating unit (170).

[0127] For example, the first signal at the present time output from the signal holding unit (140) can be convolved with the first signal at the past time output from the signal generating unit (150). Accordingly, a convolved signal, for example, a first convolved signal, can be input to the first input terminal of the operation control signal generating unit (170).

[0128] Additionally, the second signal at the present time output from the signal holding unit (140) can be convolved with the second signal at the past time output from the signal generating unit (150). Accordingly, the second convolution signal can be input to the second input terminal of the operation control signal generating unit (170).

[0129] Accordingly, the motion control signal generation unit (170) can compare the first convolution signal and the second convolution signal, and generate and output either the first level motion control signal or the second level motion control signal based on the comparison result.

[0130] The motion control signal output from the motion control signal generation unit (170) can be provided to the processor (113). Accordingly, the processor (113) can control the activation or deactivation of the gas determination model (117) based on the level of the motion control signal.

[0131] For example, when a first level operation control signal is output from the operation control signal generation unit (170), the processor (113) can activate the gas discrimination model (117). Accordingly, the gas discrimination model (117) can predict the type or concentration of gas from the detection signal received from the gas sensor array (200) and output a discrimination result.

[0132] In addition, when a second level operation control signal is output from the operation control signal generation unit (170), the processor (113) can deactivate the gas discrimination model (117). Accordingly, the gas discrimination model (117) can wait until the next detection signal is received from the gas sensor array (200) to the input / output unit (111).

[0133] Next, referring to FIG. 8, in the reset section (set) of the operation control unit (115), each of the first switching control unit (161) and the second switching control unit (165) can control the switching operation for each of the plurality of switching elements of the signal holding unit (140) and the signal generating unit (150) based on one or more parameters and past point-in-time detection data.

[0134] For example, the first switching control unit (161) can cause the 15th switching element (S15) and the 16th switching element (S16) of the signal holding unit (140) to be turned off.

[0135] In addition, the first switching control unit (161) can turn on the fourth switching element (S4), the fifth switching element (S5), the ninth switching element (S9), and the tenth switching element (S10) in the signal storage unit (141) of the signal holding unit (140), and turn off all switching elements of the path conversion unit (145).

[0136] Accordingly, the signal holding unit (140) can discharge the signal stored in each of the first capacitor (C1) and the second capacitor (C2).

[0137] Additionally, the second switching control unit (165) can turn on each of the 18th switching element (S18) and the 19th switching element (S19) of the signal generating unit (150).

[0138] Accordingly, the signal generation unit (150) can discharge the signal charged in each of the third capacitor (C3) and the fourth capacitor (C4).

[0139] In this way, according to the operation control method of the gas discrimination model (117) according to the present embodiment, the current detection signal received from the gas sensor array (200) can be compared with the detection signal received in the past, and whether or not the gas discrimination model (117) operates can be controlled based on the result of the comparison. Accordingly, the present invention can selectively activate the gas discrimination model (117), thereby reducing the power consumed by the gas discrimination device (100).
