Description

[0001] BLEACH COMPOSITIONS WITH IMPROVED MIXABILITY

[0002] Field of the invention

[0003] The present invention relates to a bleaching composition for human hair, a bleaching kit-of-parts, a ready-to-use bleaching composition, and bleaching process.

[0004] Background of the invention

[0005] Many people desire hair colors that are different from their natural hair color. Higher shades, especially blondes, are sought after. In order to achieve a high lift, bleaching products are needed, which are widely used. Applying the bleach products to a few streaks is also a common technique. For streaks, only a portion of the hair is lifted. Typically, a strand of hair is separated from the client's head and placed on a surface such as a board or the stylist's gloved hand. The bleaching product is then applied. In order to prevent the bleach from spreading to the surrounding area, the treated strand is covered and surrounded by a foil, such as plastic or aluminum. However, this process takes time due to the covering of the streaks. A popular service is called freehand bleaching or clay bleaching. This uses a bleach mixture that has a higher viscosity, is dry on the surface, and has a low swelling behavior. In this service, again, a strip is separated from the head. The bleach mixture is applied, but due to the above- mentioned characteristics, no foil or cover is needed. Surrounding hair may touch the streak, but due to the high viscosity of the bleach, its dry surface and low swelling, the bleach will not spread to the untreated hair over time.

[0006] However, a common problem with bleaching compositions that do not distribute into the untreated hair is the force required during the mixing process, which negatively affects the mixing speed. The prior art has not adequately addressed these problems. Therefore, there is a need for bleaching compositions with faster mixing times and requiring less mixing force despite their high viscosity.
