Description

[0001] FORM FOR CREATING A FRENCH DESIGN ON TOP OF A HUMAN NAIL

[0002] DESCRIPTION

[0003] The utility model relates to equipment for cosmetics or cosmetic procedures, namely to manicure or pedicure accessories [A45D 29 / 00].

[0004] A FRENCH ARTIFICIAL NAIL is known from the prior art [USA2016249724A1], comprising a shape edge facing the root of the nail, wherein the shape is made of a flexible material having a lower modulus of elasticity than the French part, having a width of 0.1 to 6.0 mm in the longitudinal direction, the upper surface of the gradation region can be at the same level as the upper surface of the body of the artificial nail, the thickness of the body of the artificial nail can gradually decrease from the free edge to the edge of the cuticle and can gradually decrease in thickness from the central part to both lateral sides.

[0005] The closest in technical essence is the METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MULTI-COLORED ARTIFICIAL NAILS [US5927293A], which includes a bridge, the tip of the nail has a width and curvature that correspond to the width and curvature of the user, so that the tip of the nail, attached to the nail, is an extension of the natural nail.

[0006] The main technical disadvantages of the analogue and prototype are the insufficient quality of transferring the French design to a human nail due to the fact that the said solutions use a form that does not allow implementing this process in the best possible way. The technical result of the utility model is to improve the quality of transferring the French design to a human nail.

[0007] The specified technical result is achieved due to the fact that the form for transferring a French design onto a human nail, consisting of an external and internal part, is made with the possibility of placing its internal part, with applied polymeric materials, on the front part of the nail, wherein the internal part is made with a rim made with the possibility of separating the first and second polymeric materials, the edge of the internal part of the form adjacent to the cuticle is made with a chamfer, the cutting angle of which ensures parallelism of the plane of the chamfer and the plane of the edge of the nail on top of which it is placed.

[0008] In particular, the side is made with a height of 0.5 to 1 mm.

[0009] In particular, the form is made of transparent material.

[0010] In particular, the form is made of plastic.

[0011] In particular, the thickness of the mold is not less than 0.5 millimeters.

[0012] In particular, markings are made on the outer side of the form.

[0013] In particular, an identifying graphic element is placed on the outer side of the uniform.

[0014] In particular, the width of the form ranges from 8 to 25 millimeters.

[0015] In particular, the shape is made with rounded outer and inner walls.

[0016] In particular, the shape is made with rounded outer and inner walls, with a smooth narrowing from the front to the back.

[0017] Brief description of the drawings.

[0018] Fig. 1 shows the form from the outside;

[0019] Fig. 2 shows the view of the form from the inside;

[0020] Fig.3 shows the general appearance of the form. The figures indicate: 1 - outer wall of the form, 2 - inner wall of the form, 3 - elevation, 4 - chamfer, 5 - marking, 6 - graphic identification element.

[0021] Implementation of a utility model.

[0022] The form is a product made of a polymer material, in particular, transparent plastic. The form has an outer wall of form 1 and an inner wall of form 2. At the same time, the size of the form is selected in such a way as to completely cover the size of a human fingernail or toenail. The selected material allows the form to be sufficiently resistant to bending, to completely bend around a person's nail when transferring the design and to use the selected form repeatedly. The thickness of the form is from 0.5 to 1 millimeter. The length of the form is 5 centimeters. The width of the form is in the range from 8 to 25 millimeters.

[0023] On the lower part of the outer wall of form 1 there is a transverse marking 5. Marking 5 allows you to see the amount of polymer material applied under the transparent form and, as a result, control the process of making the design, distributing it under the form to the desired mark. On the upper part there is a graphic identification element 6, which can be a graphic or digital designation that contributes to the emergence of a distinctive feature of a particular form, on top of which this graphic element will be applied.

[0024] On the inner wall of the form 3 there is a rise 3. The rise 3 is a rim with a height of 0.5 to 1 millimeter (see Fig. 3). This rim allows the polymer material to flow into the space in front of the rim and the other part of the form when transferring the design and thus, during subsequent polymerization, not to leak the material beyond the rim and create the necessary design. On the back side of the form there is a chamfer 4. The chamfer 4 is made in such a way and at such an angle as to facilitate the absence of an unwanted step of material near the cuticle of the nail plate during its final polymerization. In order to ensure this, the front edge of the inner part of the form is made with a chamfer, the cutting angle of which ensures parallelism of the plane of the chamfer and the edge of the nail on top of which it is placed. In various embodiments, the cutting angle of the chamfer can be from 110 to 160 degrees.

[0025] Examples of implementation of the declared technical solution:

[0026] Example 1. The shape is made with rounded outer 1 and inner 2 walls, with a smooth narrowing from the front to the back.

[0027] Example 2. The shape is made with rounded outer 1 and inner 2 walls, without tapering from the front to the back.

[0028] Example 3. The shape is made with rounded outer 1 and inner 2 walls, with a sharp narrowing from the front to the back near the tip.

[0029] The form works as follows:

[0030] A polymer material, in particular varnish, paint or gel, is applied to the inner part of the patented form. In this case, the polymer material is distributed over the form in such a way that the elevation 3 separates several materials with a clear edge. Then the form is pressed to the front side of the nail with the side where the elevation 3 is located and, without removing the form, polymerized in a UV or LED lamp. After polymerization, an extended nail with a French design remains on the person's nail, because thanks to the elevation 3, two materials with different consistencies did not mix and created the desired divided pattern. After transferring the volumetric ornament, the form is easily removed from the nail and can be reused. At the same time, thanks to the chamfer 4, an unwanted step of polymer material was not created near the cuticle of the nail, which now does not need to be removed.

[0031] The stated technical result - improving the quality of transferring the French design to a person's nail - is achieved by using a form made of transparent plastic. This material is necessary so that during the polymerization of the material applied under the form, UV rays pass through the form and successfully polymerize the applied material. The thickness of the form must be at least 0.5 millimeters. This is necessary so that during the polymerization process, the plastic transmits enough UV rays for the form to polymerize, but not dry out. The width of the form is from 8 to 25 millimeters. This is necessary to select the required form size for different sizes of the user's nail, thereby increasing the quality of the final design. On the inner wall of form 2, there is an elevation 3 (edge) with a height of 0.5 to 1 millimeter. This edge is necessary to separate several materials applied under the form with a relatively even line to create a French nail design.During subsequent polymerization, both materials polymerize in a separated position, creating a pattern of two colors or materials on the user's nail. On the inner side of the edge of the form, a chamfer 4 is made (see Fig. 3). It is made so that during the polymerization of the material under UV rays near the cuticle of the human nail, a step of material does not form, which later must be removed to achieve the desired design. On the outer wall of form 1, there is a marking 5. It is necessary so that in the process of applying the material under the form and its subsequent fixation on the human nail, the user can distribute the material along the length in a way that he considers acceptable. Without marking, the process of planning the length of the finished design is quite complicated. Also, on the outer wall of form 1, there is a graphic identification element 6. It is necessary for marking different types of forms, their sizes and technical characteristics.Precise selection of the required shape based on its identifying element simplifies the process of transferring the design to a person's nail and improves its quality due to the ability to accurately determine, for example, what size shape should be used in a particular case.

[0032] As a substantiation of the technical result, the results of the study are presented below, within the framework of which the influence of different sizes of forms, their materials of manufacture, the presence of sides on the inner part, chamfers on their edges, the presence of markings and identification graphic elements were studied. Three experiments were carried out with each of the samples under the same conditions, after which the average value of the sought indicator was derived - the percentage of readability of the transferred French design, i.e. its quality. The percentage of readability of the final French design transferred from the form was calculated by superimposing the final design on the reference template with a percentage of readability of 100% and measuring their differences (Table 1).

[0033] The following samples were taken as part of the experiment:

[0034] 1) A form made of opaque plastic 0.7 millimetres thick, 9 millimetres wide and 4 centimetres long, with a 0.6 millimetre high edge on the inside, a chamfer on the inside of the edge, markings and a graphic identification element on the outside (hereinafter referred to as Form 1).

[0035] 2) A form made of transparent plastic, less than 0.5 millimetres thick, 9 millimetres wide and 4 centimetres long, with a 0.6 millimetre high edge on the inside, a chamfer on the inside edge, markings and a graphic identification element on the outside (hereinafter referred to as Form 2).

[0036] 3) A form made of transparent plastic 0.7 millimetres thick, 9 millimetres wide and 4 centimetres long, with no edge on the inside, a chamfer on the inside of the edge, markings and a graphic identification element on the outside (hereinafter referred to as Form 3).

[0037] 4) A form made of transparent plastic 0.7 mm thick, 9 mm wide, with a 0.4 mm high edge on the inside, a chamfer on the inside of the edge, markings and a graphic identification element on the outside (hereinafter referred to as Form 4).

[0038] 5) A form made of transparent plastic 0.7 mm thick, 9 mm wide, with a 1.1 mm high edge on the inside, a chamfer on the inside of the edge, markings and a graphic identification element on the outside (hereinafter referred to as Form 5).

[0039] 6) A form made of transparent plastic 0.7 millimetres thick, 9 millimetres wide, with a 0.6 millimetre high rim on the inside, no chamfer on the inside edge, markings and a graphic identification element on the outside (hereinafter referred to as Form 6). 7) A form made of transparent plastic 0.7 millimetres thick, 9 millimetres wide, with a 0.6 millimetre high rim on the inside, a chamfer on the inside edge, no markings and a graphic identification element present on the outside (hereinafter referred to as Form 7).

[0040] 8) A form made of transparent plastic 0.7 millimetres thick, 7 millimetres wide, with a 0.6 millimetre high edge on the inside, a chamfer on the inside of the edge, markings and a graphic identification element on the outside (hereinafter referred to as Form 8).

[0041] 9) A form made of transparent plastic 0.7 mm thick, 26 mm wide, with a 0.6 mm high edge on the inside, a chamfer on the inside of the edge, markings and a graphic identification element on the outside (hereinafter referred to as Form 9).

[0042] 10) A form made of transparent plastic 0.7 mm thick, 9 mm wide, with a 0.6 mm high edge on the inside, a chamfer on the inside of the edge, markings and a graphic identification element on the outside (hereinafter referred to as Form 10).

[0043] Table 1

[0044]

[0045] Based on the results of the study (Table 1), we can draw the following conclusions:

[0046] 1) The mold, made of opaque plastic, does not allow UV rays to penetrate through it and thereby polymerize the material underneath the mold, which is why the French design is not transferred at all.

[0047] 2) A mold thickness of less than 0.5 millimeters does not allow UV rays to be sufficiently retained during polymerization, as a result of which the final design dries out and loses quality.

[0048] 3) A form without a rim on its inner side does not separate two different materials within itself, as a result of which the boundary between the materials mixes and is not separated properly, which negatively affects the quality of the final design.

[0049] 4) A side with a height of less than 0.5 millimeters allows some amount of material to pass through itself, which makes the dividing line less clear and, as a result, negatively affects the quality of the final design.

[0050] 5) A border that is more than 1 millimeter high rises too much above the nail and also allows some material to pass through itself, which makes the dividing line less clear and, as a result, negatively affects the quality of the final design.

[0051] 6) On a form without a chamfer, after polymerization, a step of rising material appears near the cuticle, which negatively affects the final percentage of design quality.

[0052] 7) Due to the lack of markings, it is impossible to accurately calculate the amount of material applied and its shape, due to which the final design also loses in quality. 8) A shape less than 8 millimeters wide does not fit sufficiently to a person's nail, due to which the material applied under it is not distributed in an even amount. This also negatively affects the final percentage of design quality.

[0053] 9) A form wider than 25 millimeters does not fit the person's nail sufficiently, due to which the material applied under it is not distributed in an even amount and goes beyond the form. This negatively affects the final percentage of design quality.

[0054] 10) The mould, made of transparent plastic 0.7 mm thick, 9 mm wide, with a 0.6 mm high edge on the inside, a chamfer on the inside edge, markings and a graphic identification element on the outside, allows us to achieve the highest possible result of French design quality within the framework of the experiment.

[0055] The conducted series of experiments show that the patented device has the highest percentage of readability of the French design on a human nail, in contrast to the studied analogues, which confirms the declared technical result.
