Abstract
Description
[0001] AN APPARATUS FEEDING AND DISCHARGING RAW MATERIALS TO INJECTION PRESS MACHINES
[0002] Technical Field
[0003] The invention relates to an apparatus used to feed and discharge raw materials to the injection press machine.
[0004] State of The Art
[0005] Today, injection press machines are used to melt plastic or other materials and inject them into a mold, and to produce a specific shape or piece. The plastic injection is a plastic past manufacturing method based on the principle of removing the plastic from the mold by bringing it below the temperature of taking out of the mold after bringing the size and visual tolerances of the piece to an acceptable level with the ironing phase and holding phase, basically after the plastic material is rapidly injected into a closed mold from the gate to the mold cavity at high speed in a temperature range above the melt temperature. This method starts by connecting the mold to the plastic injection machine and feeding the granulated or powdered raw material into the hopper. The raw material is then heated and transferred into the bucket where it will be melted. The molten raw material in the bucket is passed through the nozzle under a certain pressure. Then, the molten raw material is transmitted to the mold, which is colder than the bucket, under gradually changing pressure. Meanwhile, the raw material is expected to cool in the mold for a certain period of time and the shaped product is taken from the mold by robot or manually. Once the product is taken, the process starts again.
[0006] In the present art, the feeding and discharging of raw materials used in injection machines by the operator is slow, and also there are difficulties in performing these operations easily. This situation brings the necessity of a structure that can be integrated onto the machine and provide easy and fast feeding and discharging of excess product remaining in the hopper.
[0007] As a result of the research on the subject, the document numbered TR 2023 / 001314 was found. The related document is about a screw barrel system comprising at least one worm screw bushing that moves the raw material pouring from the plastic raw material entry hole on the barrel forward by means of the helical gear structure on it by rotating and / or an injection shaft whose pitches are removed and which performs 360° heating process efficiently with the resistance located in the hole opened from end to end instead of heating the raw material in the barrel with resistors wrapped outside the barrel. However, there is no innovation in feeding raw materials to the injection machine.
[0008] As a result, it has become necessary to make a development in the relevant technical field due to the negativities described above and the inadequacy of existing solutions on the subject.
[0009] Aim of the Invention
[0010] The invention is inspired by current situations and aims to solve the above-mentioned negativities.
[0011] The main aim of the invention is to present an apparatus that allows the raw materials used in injection press machines to be easily fed and discharged by the operator.
[0012] In order to achieve the objects described above, the invention is a feeding and discharging apparatus that enables the feeding of raw material to injection press machines and the discharge of the raw material in the hopper during raw material change, characterized by comprising;
[0013] • A baffle plate where the hopper bottom containing the raw material is placed,
[0014] • A feeding outlet that allows raw material to be fed into the machine,
[0015] • In case that different raw materials are fed to the machine, a discharge outlet that allows the remaining raw material in the hopper to be discharged,
[0016] A linear slide and a linear carriage to guide the baffle plate towards the feeding outlet or discharge outlet,
[0017] A linear slide plate to which the linear slides are fixed. The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the invention will be more clearly understood by means of the drawings given below and the detailed description written with references to these drawings, and therefore the evaluation needs to be made by taking these drawings and the detailed description into consideration.

[0035] In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the feeding and discharging apparatus (1), which are the subject of the invention, are described only for a better understanding of the subject.
[0036] The feeding and discharging apparatus (1) of the invention, whose general appearance is shown in Figures 1 and 2, enables the feeding of raw material to the injection press machines and the discharge of the raw material in the hopper during raw material change. In order to achieve this, the feeding and discharging apparatus (1), which is subject of the invention comprises a baffle plate (10) on which the hopper bottom (2) of the hopper, which provides raw material supply to the machine, is placed, a feeding outlet (17) located at the bottom of the baffle plate and allowing raw material to be fed into the machine. However, in case that different raw materials are fed to the machine, a discharge outlet (16) that allows the remaining raw material to be discharged in the hopper. In addition, it comprises a linear slide (11 ) that enables the baffle plate (10) to be directed towards the feeding outlet (17) or discharge outlet (16) and a linear slide plate (12) to which the linear slides (11) are fixed.
[0037] A body and a baffle plate placed on the linear slide plate (12) on this body performs the feeding or discharging function by being moved horizontally to the right or left and being brought to the discharge outlet (16) or feeding outlet (17).
[0038] An embodiment of the feeding and discharging apparatus (1), which is subject of the invention, comprises a linear carriage (13) that facilitates the movement of the baffle plate (10) through the linear slide (11 ). The linear carriage (13) is located between the baffle plate (10) and the linear slide (11 ) and is placed on the linear slide (11 ). The subject of the invention also comprises a fixing arm (18) that enables the baffle plate (10) to be fixed to the linear slide plate (12) according to the feeding, discharging and waiting status. Said fixing arm ensures fixture by inserting it into the holes on the outer side parts of the linear slide plate. The subject of the invention also comprises a stop pin (14) that adjusts the working distance of the baffle plate (10) and prevents it from falling from the linear slide plate (12). The mentioned stop pin are two and are located at the upper right and left ends of the linear slide plate.
[0039] An embodiment of the feeding and discharging apparatus (1), which is subject of the invention, comprises a discharge pipe (15) that enables the excess material to be transferred out of the discharge outlet (16) during the raw material change. The discharge pipe may have a single piece or a pronged outlet. The subject of the invention also comprises a handle (19) that allows the operator to quickly and easily move the baffle plate. Said handle (19) is located at the upper end of the baffle plate (10).
[0040] The working principle of the feeding and discharging apparatus (1) of the invention is as follows:
[0041] The feeding and discharge apparatus (1) of the invention, mounted on the injection press machine, is pulled with the easy movement of the operator by the handle (19) on the baffle plate (10) and sends the raw material to the discharge outlet (16), that is, into the extruder shaft in the injection press machine. Thus, the process of feeding raw materials to the machine is carried out easily and quickly. The linear slide plate (1) is fixed in the desired position by means of the fixing arm (18) inserted into the holes next to it. In order to change the raw material, the operator pulls the baffle plate (10) towards himself, and the remaining product in the hopper bottom, which is aligned with the discharge outlet, is thrown out of the discharge outlet and from the machine through the discharge pipe (15).
